Journalists love whistleblowers. Just not when the whistle is blown on them.
Journalists love transparency. As long as they’re not the ones being exposed.
No steadfast journalism rule is unbendable when it comes to justifying and protecting the racket that is modern journalism, specifically, political journalism in the United States today. The ends justify the means for the Democrat Media Complex. They lie when they claim to be objective. They lie when they claim to be unbiased, because these so called “truth seekers” are guilty of engaging in open political warfare. And when the whistle is blown, they simply double down. “Journolist” — like Media Matters, but more insidious, if that’s possible — is an attempt to put the genie back in the bottle, technology and “the masses” uncovered the conspiracy:
Talk radio and the Internet have allowed outsiders the ability to challenge a multiple generational shift from journalism being about the story, to journalism being crafted toward a partisan end. From Newsweek killing the Lewinsky story to the Swift Boat veterans (until the undermedia pressure got too big) to the Dan Rather implosion to the open attempt to keep the Al Gore masseuse story under wraps to the John Edwards/Rielle Hunter debacle to the Van Jones admission of missing the story to the networks ignoring the ACORN video footage to the media playing up trumped up charges of racism in the Tea Party — while ignoring exculpatory evidence — to the mother of all media-as-political weaponry: the non-vetting of candidate Obama, the mainstream media has shown that it is in an ideological death spiral. And the ground is right here.
American journalism died a long time ago; today Tucker Carlson got around to running the obituary. What The Daily Caller has unearthed proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that most media organizations are either complicit by participation in the treachery that is Journolist, or are guilty of sitting back and watching Alinsky warfare being waged against all that challenged the progressive orthodoxy. The scandal predictably involves journalists posing as professors posing as experts. But dressed down they are nothing but street thugs. They deserve the deepest levels of public consternation. We must demand that they do.
The only way that the media will recover from the horrifying discoveries found in the Journolist is to investigate and investigate until every guilty reporter, professor and institution is laid bare begging America for forgiveness. Will they do it?
If the powers that be don’t comply with this demand, we can always call Jonathan Alter and Eric Alterman racists.*

So the "objective" media weaponized itself as an instrument of progressive policy?! We knew it, but now we have the smoking gun. The digital age shall belong to the truth seekers, for the truth shall disappear no more, forever.
So these scum bags actually colluded to actually call somebody like Barnes or Rove, a racist? Totally make it up? Just to develop the alternative narrative as a distraction to help Obama? And it's caught on emails?? We can actually hear them think this crap up?? Wow… OK… so now I'm thinking —- Katie Couric's was all blank? Anyway, I think there would be good grounds for a lawsuit for slander and intentional infliction. They are public figures, but this damages their reputations on purpose.
One can only imagine what they were saying about Palin. Wow! Would sure like to see how these scumbags were plotting to assassinate her character. They were getting desperate when she was rising in the polls with McCain.

So we now have an empty suit marxist in the White House who was vaulted there with help from a bunch of straw dogs. Yea, many knew it but it is nice to find some evidence of the deception that was going on in the last election. Of course there is a ton more out there that will eventually surface.
I hope that the Democrats and their friends are proud of their handiwork. They have all worked so hard at dismantling this country that they will not live this down for another 100 years or so.
Why do I get this feeling that we're now living in the Soviet Union, where the all-powerful central government controls almost every aspect of our lives and that the state-controlled media is there simply to parrot the "democratic" party line? The shameless exhibition that was put on during the 2008 presidential election by the main stream media only reinforced the idea that most journalists in this country are liberal democrats and would crush any outside dissent against their candidate for president. Forget the idea that they were "journalists" and that it was their job to be objective and uncover true facts about the candidate. In 2008, pure propaganda took over and I feared for my country.
Until now. Andrew Breitbart, FOX News, Talk Radio, and a bunch of brave conservative bloggers on the Internet are helping to stop this trend and are holding established "journalists" accountable for their actions. I almost feel like we really are living in Soviet Russia and we're printing fliers in a basement critical of the regime. How did it ever come to this in America?
This is hard proof of not only bias, but CONSPIRACY!

That's right. The loss of a woman's political innocence is a sad, sad thing. To think that she had no compunction about trampling the rights of Clinton's accusers then, and only now feels remorse in being asked to get back down on the bed for another john: Obama.

I've never been much of a conspiracy theorist; I'm one of those perhaps naive folks who believes, generally, that things are usually exactly as they seem. And as a broadcast media professional with more than 30 years experience, this is a sad eye-opener. I was laid off from an NPR station a year ago, and found it something of a relief because, although I was out of a job with great benefits, I no longer felt like I was selling my soul.
This, however, is the ugly new world in which we live. To the Journolist members, their ends justify their means, and their actions go way beyond anything Bernie Goldberg wrote about in "Bias." He exposed what I had always thought: that these "journalists" really did believe they were objective and impartial — it was just that their objectivity revolved solely around the secular theology in which they had been immersed since their college days.
Now, though, it has become obvious that that ideal has unabashedly given way to the political agenda, and that they really do believe that Republicans and conservatives are racist, warmongering knuckle-draggers who must be defeated at any cost.
We cannot let this go — we must get this damning story out. But again, how do we get it before those folks for whom Katie Couric and Anderson Cooper are the sole sources of news?
Does that seem too strong? I don't think so. It seems the appropriate amount of disgust at such odious, soul-dead actions. If we get squeamish about holding the line against this type of behavior we'll cede our future back to Soros.

The funniest bit that Rush uses over and over is when he has audio clips of the media, one after the other, saying the exact same thing using almost the exact same phraseology with the same very distinct keyword in every quote.

The timing of this story simply could not be better. Coming on the heels of the Shirley Sherrod expose' and firing, this throws things into a tailspin for the liberal media industrial complex, doesn't it?
The usual suspects – the distinguished Journolist Alumni – were plotting a balls-out attack on Republicans and the Tea Party Movement. And race was, of course, their chosen weapon.

Fifteen years ago, when I was first starting to recover from liberalism via listening to Rush Limbaugh, there was a sense of "Someone else sees things the way I see them." That we are able to openly express a sense of living under Soviet-style control is proof in itself that we are still free people. As long as we can communicate with one another without fear, we can continue learning how to work together to take back our government, our education system, our culture. Thank God for alternative media!

With a whore, you usually know who you're dealing with, what you're getting and what you have to pay. Calling Pollitt a whore is an insult – to whores. It's one thing to sell yourself; it's another to sell the rest of us which is what these "journalists" did. They're pimps and procurers and should be dealt with as such.

If you work for The Nation, being on something like Journolist isn't big surprise — it's been the home of far left lunacy for generations. If the writers there weren't casually throwing around the idea of using the race card on their enemies on a place like Journolist, you'd probably want to call them up to see if they were feeling under the weather or having some sort of crisis of liberal faith.
The more disturbing ones for the big media outlets are the Journolist members from the sites they want the public to believe are non-partisan, like Ezra Klein's Washington Post, or Politico, who had people on Journolist who either participated in threads like the one exposed by The Daily Caller, or knew about threads like that and saw the real-world results and then said or did absolutely nothing. They may not have overtly been part of a plan to target Obama's perceived enemies as racists, but they saw nothing worth getting worked up about in those threads, if someone like Fred Barnes (jeez, Ackerman thought Fred Barnes was a radical conservative?) has their career ruined by a manufactured racism charge they know is phony.

This is a ludicrous nonstory. In concise summary, The Daily Caller alleges that openly liberal commentators attempted to influence the agenda-setting of straight news reporters. This commonplace occurrence is not an obscene rarity.
In order for the unwashed TV drones to find out about it, they'd have to hear about it.

They're confirming with their comments things that the right has been suspecting all along.
One of them is that the left uses the knee-jerk racist card as a tactic, not because of any perceived racism, but as a tactic to attempt to discredit their opponents.
Another one is that many journalists have no intention of objective reporting. They are not in it for the news. They are in it to be propagandists. The are not in it to show people the truth. They are in it to fool people with lies.
Being dishonest is not a crime.
Just stop buying their products. It would also be useful to maintain a list of these types of people so we know which media outlets to avoid.
The conspiracy was revealed to me when I observed questions on ABC, NBC, CBS and CNN within five minutes of each other on Sunday Morning talk shows: 'Please comment on the NAACP's allegation that the TEA Party is racist' or words to that effect. This is harking back to the Begala/Carville/Daschle DNC fax machine to the networks telling them their daily talking points.

We don't know that no liberals spoke up, and even if they hadn't, it wouldn't matter because there never was a campaign to paint Fred Barnes as a racist. Ackerman is an excitable guy, that's all. We knew all this before. Let's focus on the real bias in the em-es-em.
Wow. This is just sickening. I already knew that these "journalists" were biased as all hell. What I didn't know is that they were conspiring — literally conspiring — behind closed doors to spin the news beyond all recognition.
It's a metaphor, dude. I'm not suggesting Spencer Ackerman literally wanted to hide down in some Long Island Railroad station in Queens waiting to snuff out Freddy's life (oh, wait, that was Michael Tomasky saying the Journolist clan should "kill ABC" over the Obama-Clinton debate questions. And, no, I don't think Mikey was being literal there, either).
If some of the other members of Journolist were horrified, outraged, or at least a tad bit miffed at Ackerman's scheme, we would have heard something about this in the Spring of 2008, just after the thread was active, and not in the summer of 2010, a year after the website was outed and a month after it was shut down over l'affaire Weigel. The fact that — for whatever reason — there was no public mention of this, let alone repudiation, for 26 months shows that at the very least, if the other list members weren't at least mildly sympathetic to the idea, they were intimidated that the other J-list members would retaliate against them if they ratted anyone out, and as a result, said nothing.
You know, she gave Clinton a virtual "Lewinsky" as surely as Monica did. And she's not some giddy little prepster, but a "serious human being" or some other virtuous assessment of herself. And there she admits to being on her knees before Clinton, and now Obama.
Ask Monica what names she was called by the Left.
