A CNN political analyst has called on President Obama to go “gangsta” against the Republicans. In a post dated Feb. 11, Roland S. Martin writes,
For me, I’m sick and tired of Democrats having power and being unwilling to use it. I’ve always respected Republicans when they had power because they were willing to use it and maybe apologize later.
Obama’s critics keep blasting him for Chicago-style politics. So, fine. Channel your inner Al Capone and go gangsta against your foes. Let ‘em know that if they aren’t with you, they are against you, and will pay the price.
Here’s how urbandictionary.com defines “gangsta”:
A sociopathic member of the inner-city underclass, known primarily for being antisocial and uneducated. Also known for ready access to illegal drugs and weapons, and staggeringly poor marksmanship.
So, Roland wants the President of the United States to become an antisocial (at least with Republicans), uneducated (at least in the substance of GOP ideas), drug-addicted (beyond nicotine), gun-toting (the Secret Service count?) sociopath who can’t shoot straight. Now that is truly amazing!
Imagine what would happen if Pat Buchanan referred to Obama as a “gangsta” in one of his articles. How would that play out?

Honestly, I think both networks are junk. Fox to their credit at least does its audience the service of separating news and opinion segments into separate shows in designated hours. Don't think of it as fair and balanced in the sense that they are unbiased but rather fair and balanced in the sense that they make their bias transparent.
While i do agree with the statement that Obama does need to take charge more (so then at least we could see what his most important stances are), I think they put it in a way that is extremely patronizing to their audience.

Although FOX NEWS happens to be the most professional when it comes to breaking news, production quality and analyzing news stories more so than any other network, their downside lies in the fact that they are childish, immature and often times dowright embarrassing when it comes to criticizing Obamas policies. In addition to the complaining and crying of Glenn Beck, it is the excessive showmanship that annoys me. Just analyze the problems Mr. Beck and propose solutions.
