Media Matters is taking the Tea Party Convention to task regarding its limited credentialing for press access.
Tea Party convention hosts Palin and bans the press. Except Palin employer Fox News
Media message from the right wing: If you don’t give the Tea Party “fair coverage,” then you will be banned from covering its convention.
And who says the conservative movement doesn’t hold journalism in contempt?
So….when a quasi political convention held by a private group selectively excludes dissenting media, that’s contempt. But when the White House selectively excludes dissenting media, singling them out for vilification, that’s just fine with Media Matters.
For the record, I would like to see lamestream media outlets there. More often than not, when they cover the Tea Parties, they embarrass themselves in a way that simultaneously exposes their bias, while energizing and growing the base.

Agreed. Let them show themselves for what they are. The proof is in the pudding.
Also, let's not stoop to their level. Tempting, in these times, but let's be true to ourselves.
Illiberals and Regressives deny that they are hypocrites because they claim, generally, that they have no standards to violate and, because of that, there's no way they can be hypocrites. So, not having any standards is better than having some and not always living up to them? And they think we're nuts. They're really not even Illiberals nor Regressives–they're anarchists who can only succeed by holding their competition to the competition's standards while holding themselves to as minimal standards as it takes to beat their competition. No standards are even better. Liberals and Regressives are not the geniuses they somehow make so many people believe–they are actually lazy, underachievers whose only hope for passing through this world is to live off the productivity of those who aren't them.
OK let me see if I have this correct, they call us Teabaggers, insult our intelligence or they ignore us like the 4/15/09 Tea Parties and the 9/12 Rally, so now all of a sudden they cry foul when it's a bit of payback
Fuck 'em
They should let the Lamestreet media in. I think there might be a few folks that would like too tingle on Chris Matthews.

I vote for not letting them in. They had their chance, the Tea Party movement was one of the top 10 stories missed by the MSM in 2009.
They didn't want to report the story, they want access to the convention for more ammunition and opportunities to call us repulsive names; it would be foolish to give it to them. Their segments would begin with a rolling of their eyes and a heavy sigh to signal that they really don't want to, but here's the ridiculous story of the day. They would begin their reports by heaping scorn on the fact that they were there in the first place!
Besides, they are no longer legitimate sources of reporting. They're completely in the tank for the Progressive agenda.
Excluding them up front sends a message. They are on the wrong side of history.
Fox News, plain and simple, will provide the convention with favorable coverage. That's why they're invited; don't read too deep into it.
Inviting the rest of the media is like inviting the class bully to your birthday party. They'll just spit in your face and call you names. Why would you welcome that?
Media Matters is filthier than a used tampon in the toilet of a bus. I care as much about what they think as Obama cares about what American's think…
I thought at first, that the msm should be invited, so as not to play the democrat game of hiding behind closed doors…but of course, they will be on rooftops and in the mix anyway,( hiding behind their' Nazi', and 'We hate Obama' signs)…they do not deserve an invitation, after the way they bashed and belittled the citizens of the USA. We, the good people of this country have been called the most vile names by the democrats ( and there were democrats at the rallies!) and by the press..and enough is enough..if they report on the rally , after NOT being invited, I can't wait to hear what they will have to say!!
Let’em come, bring a bucket of rocks!
So the MSM is whining and bitching about being uninvited to the Tea Party Convention where Sarah Palin, who just so hapopens to be their favorite punching bag is going to be a prime speaker along with Joe Farah, another of those people the MSM likes to pee on because of his beliefs… and the pink slip campaign that has some of those in DC steppin' and fetchin'.
What I would do is this, price their fees according to their ignorance and see how high they step up to attend. This is still a free market economy, and they want to cover it, then they pay, period. It won't be called a media black out, and it won't be blamed on Fox. I guess, about $150K – $200K per erroneous or negative story about Sarah or her family would set the bar about right. Of course that would be across all affiliates and local stations, not just the national anchors or talking heads. And then let the Tea Party Convention donate to the Haitian emergency fund after expenses are paid. They should still take in a cool $200 to $300 million for their candidates to spend on their campaigns just from those MSM'rs
May this be just the beginning of blatant contempt toward the mainstream media..They have EARNED OUR CONTEMPT!!!!!!
Why would the Tea Party Convention want any MSM reporters there. They have called the tea partys, every vile name in the book. They could go fact check M. OBAMA's cooking show. The theme was for her to bring fresh veggies from her White House Garden. If MSM would fact check this, they would find out , it was another WHITE HOUSE LIE. Her veggies was not used on the show. TEA PARTY kick them out. Payback is HELL.
Great list of tips
I can’t belive that you created all the function to share this! Awesome. With no Bloggers like you, we would by no means get so great information’s!
The article seems to suggest that this applies to both genders. While I do agree that women look better with a curvier bottom, I, for one, do not find a man with big hips, thighs and ass attractive. Does anyone?
