I reckon Laura Ingraham didn’t leave much left of Charles Blow’s behind left after callin’ him out on his bigoted comments concerning the Tea Party in Grand Prairie, Tex. I still gotta respond though! Not only were his comments bigoted, but he lied! (No surprise there.) He even threw in the lie that, during my speech I said that bringing a senator aboard Air Force One is unconstitutional, and that taxing cigarettes is unconstitutional. I wonder if he was even there!
If there was any bigotry at the Tea Party, he brought it with him, since the only thing he saw was a minstrel show.

As a person from NYC educational system, who dropped out in Junior High before going back to college (and that being CUNY) after a whole bunch of living, I can relate with you on the intellectual snobs. I always try to keep it real with my academic peers, which always draws strange looks when I crack a joke while discussing the theories of Edmund Burke. Keep up the fight, make the bucks, and please, please, keep making sense of the political scene with a sense of humor.

I've lived in Grand Prairie for 23yrs, this is not a racist town! However there is one "man of color" that is not welcome back and that's Blowhard. This NYT tool already had the article written, edited and vetted by the time he set foot in my town for the Tea Party. All he had to do was insert some random names and voila there's his story. As to any and all minorities YOU are welcome to a Tea Party anytime. We of the Tea Party are not excluding you, YOU are choosing not to come. If there is a Snoop Dog concert in town are the majority black crowd racists? If a majority white audience attends a hockey game are they racists? No one has told anyone not to come to the Tea Parties, all are welcome ALL are welcome! If you choose not to attend what is YOUR reason? The TP movement is made up of Republicans, Dems, and Indy's. We don't care what color you are, we stand for limited government, lower taxes, letting the people and the states decide issues like gay marriage, and abortion, we are against judicial activists. If any of that sounds appealing to you come on down.

House slaves became accustomed to the better life than the field slaves. The house slaves often time told the field slaves to not flee slavery, for they knew if they did the house slaves might be returned to the status of field slaves.
Of course Blow found hate at the Party, he brought his own. The media ignores, belittles the TP with hundreds people showing up, but gives cyclic coverage to people in uniform chained to a gate and don't identify them, but report the story of a soldier that was not there. Next time leave them connected to the fence, just tape off the area and prevent anyone from going near them, also if they were not in the armed forces should they be charged?

For a long time, I was a Democrat. It was the party of the poor folks of the south, all my African-American friends, and many of my white friends. But that was long ago. The litmus test became Detroit. The Democrats ruled for years and years, but Detroit became worse and worse for everyone, but even worse still for African-Americans.
Something was not right. Only the highest levels of the Democrat Party were benefiting. So I became an independent voter.
Mr. Rachel stands squarely at the front of those I will follow. And God bless him for doing so.
