No one should be surprised that the media has invested all of its might to lynch Herman Cain now that he has become a front-runner in the GOP presidential primary. Nearly three weeks ago the liberal writers at “Saturday Night Live” lampooned him for not having a chance. Since that time Americans have taken notice of his pragmatic approach to solving our country’s problems. He has become a Titan in business like Oprah Winfrey, Russell Simmons, and Bob Johnson and now the media is attempting to destroy Herman Cain because Herman Cain is a politically conservative black man in America, an unprotected minority. Liberals have created conditions where expressing conservative beliefs subjects blacks to another set of standards.

The most disgusting example of the media lynching was the interview with Hermain Cain by MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell. O’Donnell’s questions were predictably misleading. That’s to be expected because they cater to a small (and I mean small) leftist fringe. He relentlessly attempted to cast Herman Cain as a race traitor through innuendo like accusing him of not participating in civil rights demonstrations, insulting his father, and misrepresenting passages from his book.

I concluded than this Ivy League elitist has ordained himself with the authority to declare who is black. Although Herman Cain gave a spirited interview, he showed the obvious restraint of a presidential candidate leaving the host visibly frustrated by his defiance. I guarantee that if this was 1840, O’Donnell would have filled Cain’s back with welts like the Democrats used to do to non-compliant blacks. Nonetheless, since I am not a presidential candidate, and have no restraint and can directly address his racist assumptions.

I challenge Mr. O’Donnell’s and his newfound authority to a “black contest.” Conservative black Americans are regularly challenged on their racial integrity, and I say this from experience. While I believe that there is no standard “black experience,” there are experiences, conditions and traditions that tie the millions of African-Americans together that are distinctly different from other groups of Americans. Unfortunately, racist liberals like O’Donnell and self-proclaimed “black leaders” like Cornell West have given themselves the authority to decide who can call themselves black.

For years conservative African-Americans have tried to convince the brethren that despite political differences, they are no different. Too often these pleas fall on deaf ears as their “black cards” are revoked for simply exercising Constitutional rights; at the same time we people like Obama, whose descendents were not forced into slavery, and Bill Clinton who continues to be touted as the first “black” president.

Now’s the time for liberals to stop all of the innuendo and baseless accusations. Since they are quick to insult the racial integrity of conservative blacks, here is their chance to prove it. Mr. O’Donnell, let’s mutually agree on a measurable standard based on the experiences of descendants of enslaved Africans in America, pitting myself against President Obama. If I lose, I am willing to profess that my conservative beliefs make me a sellout to my community. If you lose, you must profess to your audience that you are indeed the biggest racist in America.

I realize the that idea of a “black contest” may be considered immature. So is having to rebut being called an Uncle Tom during an otherwise intelligent debate on policy. I am addressing absurdity in-kind. I fully expect O’Donnell to cower inside of his ivory tower at MSNBC by ignoring me. That’s why I need you help to me challenge the racists at MSNBC. Copy and paste this editorial with “Don’t Be A Coward O’Donnell, Accept The Challenge” in the title. E-mail it directly to Lawrence O’Donnell at thelastword@msnbc.com. Get all of your friends to do the same. O’Donnell acts like a tough guy when standing on the bully pulpit, time to find out if that NBC mascot is really a peacock or chicken.

It’s no secret that I am no fan of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) because they are traitors to the black community. Nonetheless, I did start to feel optimistic in thinking their souls are not completely owned by white liberals. I got this idea when I heard Maxine Waters ask for permission to critique President Obama. I was hopeful that the media would give Waters as much attention for criticizing the President as they have when conservatives have rightfully questioned their candidates.

Its absurd to think that a member of Congress should ask for permission to critique a president, especially since she went after President Bush with reckless abandon. All things considered, this was a step in the right direction. With black unemployment at nearly 16% nationwide and 50% in many cities, I asked myself: is this the moment that the Congressional Black Caucus finally put the needs of the American people ahead of the liberal agenda?

Much to my dismay, I soon realized that the Congressional Black Caucus (with the exception of Alan West) are property of the liberal agenda, aided and abetted by the MSM. Recently, the CBC launched their bus tour to bring focus on the lack of jobs in the black community which I think is admirable. The problem came when they tried to place some of the blame where it belongs, with the Obama administration. At this point the Democrats must have had some type of private Willie Lynch moment. The mighty Congressional Black Caucus, the political overseers of the black community, must have been taken to the woodshed by minority leader Nancy Pelosi to get their minds right. When they came out they immediately ceased addressing Obama and directed all of their wrath to the tea party. There was no media follow-up.

Politically, the CBC doesn’t bite the hands that feed them. They know that each one of them is easily replaceable because they represent districts where any Democrat on the general election ballot will win every time. They feel pressure from other Black Democrats waiting in line to get “their” spot. With such weak bargaining positions, they get no love and no campaign money from the DNC. They have become so beholden to government money that they lack no real clout in their own Democrat caucus. So like any bully in their situation they get aggressive with people they perceive as weaker because they have obviously proven that they lack the guts to stand up to liberals. So they take the easy route and only attack conservatives.

They have decided to get tough with the tea party (a movement) in order to get back in good graces with their masters. They began this anti-tea party message and keep it circulating in the black media — and the mainstream media wants to keep it that way. Bashing the tea party in the mainstream media is getting old so the CBC is now carrying the water for the liberal agenda while the vitriol from CBC town halls goes ignored by the major networks. These few blacks get to be touted as “the leaders.” In exchange, millions of other black people struggle to get by and are taught that salvation comes from government. Just drive around black neighborhoods from coast to coast and you will see the results of the CBC’s work: from Oakland to Detroit to Miami everyone knows “the hood” when they see it. The CBC can blame the tea party all they want; they are clearly delusional. The rest of America sees the truth everyday in our communities whether Carson and Waters acknowledge it or not.

When Alvin Green legally became the Democratic nominee for the U.S. Senate in South Carolina, his legitimacy was immediately challenged by his party’s elite and members of the Congressional Black Caucus. Although Green withstood their attacks, he was lampooned by the national media and his campaign has since been abandoned by his party. Many dismiss this situation based on his unorthodox presentation. Others knowledgeable of the Democratic Party, its platform, and its history know that this is just a typical example of how they treat black members of their party. The mainstream media serves as a tool to reinforce black people’s position at the bottom of the Democratic Party.

Rep. Kendrick Meek on the other hand is no Alvin Green. Meek is a well educated man, a sitting congressman and son of the congresswoman. He no doubt has the political pedigree to serve in the United States Senate. I am proud to say that he is a fellow graduate of my alma mater, Florida A&M University. Like Green, Meek earned his place as his party’s nominee. While Meek & Green may have different backgrounds they share a trait that condemns them to the bottom of their party. They are both black men who aspire to represent a constituency larger than their neighborhood. The truth is, Meek could be a congressman for the rest of his life if he decided to stay in his district. However, his senatorial aspiration could lead to his political demise.

Meek was confronted on MSNBC about dropping out of the race in order to make way for Republican turned Independent Charlie Crist. The 2010 election is looking bad for Democrats across the country. Yet no one is calling for Barbara Boxer, Russ Feingold or any other white liberal candidate to move aside for an independent. Liberals only seem two single out black candidates for such maneuvers. According to the polls MSNBC sited, Meek is polling poorly among Democrats proving more racism within their party. Read liberals posts on MSNBC which further illustrates my point. Meek’s voting record is as liberal as you can get. Unlike Green, Meek is well-qualified, so it is impossible not to consider race as a factor in this situation.

Chuck Todd was doing a great impersonation of a plantation overseer as he tried to steer Meek in the direction of abandoning his campaign in order to make room for a white man to take his place. Watching Todd address Meek was like a recreation of Democrat “Bull” Connor talking down to Martin Luther King, Jr. Todd is making the assumption that a black man can’t win in Florida and that his best chance is finishing second. Perhaps the most racist part of the interview was watching Todd and co-host Savannah Guthrie blatantly ignore Meek’s attempt to focus on the issues. Guthrie asked him if he could live with himself should Rubio win.

While I am no political supporter of Meek, I do support a citizen’s decision to run for public office. I would personally love to see Marco Rubio represent my home state of Florida in the United States Senate. The issue here is the mainstream media’s facilitation of Liberal attacks on black people that aspire to represent districts bigger than their neighborhoods. When I say “black” people, I don’t mean Obama, I mean people like me who are descendents of slaves. With stories and interviews like these, MSNBC, the Democratic Party, and the mainstream media continue to let black people know that their place in the Democratic Party is at the bottom.

I am ashamed to admit that there is one thing the contemporary mainstream media does well. Having spent years studying politics, history, and language, I find it amazing that media is able to convince people to believe conflicting narratives. The creation and perpetuation of these contradictory beliefs cannot be possible without a media structure, as well as an educational structure, that discourages, and too often scorns, analytical thinking. In George Orwell’s novel “1984″, he described this as doublethink which is the power to hold two completely contradictory beliefs in one’s mind simultaneously, and accept both of them.

Now that we are a month away from the midterm elections, the Democrats and their friends in the media are going to be working overtime to create these conflicting narratives that confuse and distort reality in order to preserve their power. What I find most fascinating is the liberal perception of tolerance. Liberals are probably the most intolerant people in America. Recently, Andrew Breitbart was spit on by liberals at an “Anti-Hate” rally. Here are just a few other stories that illustrate their “tolerance:”

5 charged in GOP tire slashings

Understanding doublethink and the process of creating conflicting narratives will help you navigate this campaign season. Liberals and the media have figured out that injecting emotion into rational debate confuses those who cannot separate fact from feelings. The liberal elite have used this tactic to control black people by using powerful accusations like racism, bigotry, and injustice that conjure up fierce emotions yet are nearly impossible to define. You will notice that the biggest supporters of liberalism too often can’t define this doctrine or the policies that result from it. This lack of critical thinking and intellectual maturity is why liberals prey on those in hardship, those with little education, children and students. Taking advantage of the homeless and drug abusers was a big part of Obama’s election strategy.

Recently, I got a message from moveon.org bragging about how productive this congress has been by passing Obamacare, stimulus and financial reform. For years, Democrats have told us how great these things will be. Now that they are law, some Democrats are running away from these great “accomplishments” while others are campaigning against them. So what’s their strategy going into the midterms? Their strategy is to double down on confusing voters! Pay close attention to what language is used and where it is used because Obamacare will be an “accomplishment” in a union hall and a detriment at a Chamber of Commerce debate.

You won’t see Democrats flaunt their voting records. You will see them spend millions of dollars on a barrage of the most vicious attack ads in the history of politics. You won’t see the media hold liberals accountable that purposely try to destroy opponents reputations and livelihoods. You will see the media portray Democrats as well-meaning servants and at the same time they are going to position the GOP and Tea Party candidates as racist, intolerant war mongers.

During this campaign season, I urge you to remove all personal bias and seek facts in order to make informed decisions. It’s going to take work because we no longer live in a country where the media reports the news. The mainstream media has drawn a line in the sand and clearly shown us what side of the line they’re on. They continue to move farther to the left. At the same time their audience is shrinking. This is a direct correlation.

Last weekend, I had the privilege of attending the “Restoring Honor” rally in Washington, D.C. While I’m proud to be an American each and every day, I was especially proud on that day. The feeling I had being amongst so many people that love and appreciate the blessings of liberty was at times overwhelming. The purpose of the event was simple. We wanted to express our love for our nation and dedicate ourselves to practicing the values that has made it so strong. Unfortunately, this simple lesson appears to be impossible for liberals and the media to comprehend.

The media coverage and the liberal spin stopped short of calling the event a Ku Klux Klan rally, attended by racist tea partiers whose sole purpose is to suppress minorities, destroy the environment and worship big business. To no surprise, all the media coverage reflected this tired narrative. As usual with the media, they got it all wrong.

There’s no denying that the majority of the attendees were white — but then, so is the majority of America. Blacks were free to attend and many of us did but for some reason the media chose not to show us. There is no surprise that the liberals once again have terribly flawed logic. Consider this. I went to a predominantly black college. Whites are free to go to school there. Despite being heavily recruited in many cases, many still choose to get their educations elsewhere. Many black colleges offer scholarships specifically for white students. Does this make black colleges racist for not having more white students? The point is that the lack of attendance isn’t the same as exclusion.

Instead of accurately reporting that close to a million people attended the rally, they choose to say “tens of thousands.” They chose to make this about race and politics when the goal was clearly to restore God’s place in our daily lives, not in our government. Conservatives are people guided by principles that are often rooted in the Bible. This doesn’t mean that we’re perfect, it means that we have a moral standard to measure ourselves. A standard that we all fall short of but a standard nonetheless. Liberals don’t understand this because their standards are based in the situation, the intent, the beliefs of the offender and arbitrary fairness (which is always subjective.)

In addition to ignoring the content of the rally, the MSM chose to (in many cases) give more coverage to Al Sharpton’s counter-rally to give it the appearance of equal attendance. The goal of Sharpton’s rally was to “reclaim Dr. King’s legacy” because he believes Glenn Beck has stolen it. This is possibly the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. I’m going to start wearing a Michael Jordan jersey every day until I steal his legacy.

In reality, Sharpton’s rally was nonexistent except in the media. However, his attempt at maintaining relevance provided some valuable insight in addition to a few laughs. Sharpton and his liberal allies provide a great contrast with the conservatives at the “Restoring Honor” rally.

The conservatives prayed and asked God to bless our country and thank him for his blessings. On the other hand, the liberals chose to stir up racial hostility and drive further divisions among the nation. They came to fight while the conservatives came to pray. Conservatives believe that the Lincoln Memorial is sacred ground. That’s why everyone cleaned up behind themselves and by the time everyone left, you would have never known that nearly a million people had been there. On the other hand, after Obama’s inauguration, Washington D.C. was trashed and it took days and thousands of man-hours to clean it up. One liberal posted on a lefty blog that the folks who attended the rally yesterday cleaned up on purpose to keep Park employees from being able to earn a living cleaning up that Park!! You can’t make up that kind of ignorance.

God bless Glenn Beck for making the sacrifices necessary to pull this event together. He was truly amazing and I’m glad to have been there. His vision has strengthened my personal resolve to always thank God for his blessings, to improve my life and the lives of those around me. In the near future, I don’t expect liberals to abandon their tired narratives or judge themselves by the same standards they judge conservatives. Therefore I will continue to follow the direction given to me by God and ignore their predictable criticisms because Jesus Christ was treated far worse than anything I’ll encounter. So if the Savior of the world was treated so harshly, how can I expect any different?

The mainstream media and much of Hollywood have more in common besides fierce loyalty to liberalism. They both rarely deviate from their scripts. The media, like actors and actresses, loyally follow their script to promote a liberal agenda. They filter content based on their political ideology, ignore news that conflicts with their key message and use code language to create heroes, villains and spark action among their loyal fans.

During the Obama campaign, the American media let the world know how they operate. They have not deviated from their script, and now try to marginalize the Tea Party Movement.

The template used by mainstream media describes the Tea Party Movement as a group of racist, intolerant, and violent white people is just more lies and propaganda. The left follows the old totalitarian prescription: “If you repeat a lie often enough, people will believe it.” So allow me to tell you a story the liberal media doesn’t want you to hear. I will compare and contrast Tea Party activists versus liberal activists.

I had the honor of speaking at the greater New Orleans Tea Party Tax Day rally last week with well over 1,000 other patriotic Americans. Each speaker spoke about love for country, our Constitution and liberty. There was no violence, rather passionate people who are critical of the decisions being made and want to exercise their constitutionally protected right to peacefully organize and voice their opinions. While walking through the crowd I met flight attendants, accountants, retirees, insurance salespeople and stay-at-home moms. These aren’t violent people seeking confrontation. Until recently, they hadn’t been politically engaged because they were busy going to church, working, paying taxes, obeying the law, raising families, volunteering and living their lives. However, the liberal massive power grab has given them the no choice but to get involved. The Tea Party Movement has provided a vehicle for them to voluntarily take time away from their lives to peacefully and passionately voice their concerns.

What about liberal activists?

Whenever a bunch of liberals get together to protest, you better bring as many cops as you can find because there is going to be trouble. Many times you’ll find that these “supporters” are being compensated. These “compassionate” people tend to get bloodthirsty when their numbers are favorable so if you happen to stumble upon one of their protests and you disagree with their position, you better either lie or run.

If you don’t, you will be a victim of their so-called “tolerance” like Kenneth Gladney, who was savagely beaten by racially motivated SEIU members. You could get beaten and your legs broken for wearing a Sarah Palin pin like Allee Bautsch, you could get your finger bitten off by Moveon.org, get caught in the middle of a violent standoff with cops and the list goes on.

If you are a liberal, you can expect your friends in the media and the Democratic Party to ignore your violence because they both benefit. In fact, liberal heroes like Nancy Pelosi will encourage your intimidation like she did to CodePink for disrupting a town hall meeting. Liberal leaders use code language like “Astroturf” to mobilize violent leftists to intimidate citizens into silence. Unfortunately for them, they can no longer scare us into silence.

Don’t believe the hype, the media is simply following their script in order to negatively portray the Tea Party Movement and perpetuate their lie of the “compassionate liberal.” Despite their best efforts, the Tea Party is growing, people are seeing the liberals as the party bent on controlling all aspects of our lives and the Americans who used to ignore politics are realizing that the price of freedom is eternal vigilance.
