Dr. Gina Loudon

Host of the PM Drive The Dr. Gina Show on Truth Talk 630 AM, Gina is a National speaker, analyst, and writer on topics ranging from adoption, to immigration. She is the originator of the BUYcott concept, and her BUYcott of Whole Foods and Arizona have rendered some boycotts of the left largely ineffective. Gina has appeared or been cited by the BBC, Time Magazine, Fox News, The Hill, Jon Stewart Daily, 4FM, and numerous other TV, Radio, and print outlets. She is credited as one of the "100 Founding Members" of the Tea Party movement. She has a book due out in 2011 on Women in Politics. She is the wife of State Senator John Loudon (R-MO, ret) and is home schooling mother of five children, including one by the blessing of adoption who has Down Syndrome.

In a recent article by Robert Schmul on AOL Politics, he has hit conservatives below the belt in a way that he hopes will stick.  If you can’t get the American population to get behind your socialist President, then just try to paint the conservative leaders as suspiciously similar to him.

Uh, not so much.

palin at convention

He claims that Sarah Palin is a lot like Barack Obama.  He points to similarities that are encapsulated at sarahpalinblog.com.

  • Both emerged quickly on the national scene and used their charisma to become media-magnified political celebrities.
  • Both were tapped to deliver major speeches at national party conventions.
  • Both followed up their initial national exposure with well-publicized books.
  • Both became nationally recognized as Washington outsiders with limited governmental experience.
  • Both share somewhat exotic backgrounds far removed from the continental United States.
  • Both have positioned themselves in opposition to the existing establishments.
  • Both created followers who are closely connected and willing to work on behalf of emerging and engaging personalities.

But I see major differences. (more…)

As a Harvard-trained lawyer, are we really to believe that BHO II forgot the most famous line in the Preamble of the Declaration of Independence?

obama1

There are only three options that explain why Obama omitted the words “by the  Creator” in his speech to Hispanics over the weekend.

  1. The teleprompter was loaded incorrectly–omitting the words “by the Creator.”
  2. The teleprompter was loaded correctly—and Obama misread it, omitting the words “by the Creator” accidentally.
  3. The teleprompter was loaded correctly—and Obama omitted the words “by the Creator” intentionally.

The first possibility illustrates cowardice by Obama– if “by the Creator” was omitted by a speechwriter (and not ordered so by POTUS) then why aren’t heads rolling?

The second option would illustrate ineptitude on the part of the Harvard-educated “constitutional lawyer.”  If “by the Creator” was in the teleprompter, and Obama “forgot,” then it is a gaffe to remember, such as his “57 states” remark during his campaign.  Where are the Dan Quayle genre jokes by late night television folks mocking his stupidity? Don’t suppose we’ll hear much from the LSM about that one! (more…)

Michael Joseph Gross, the author of the recent Vanity Fair hit piece on Sarah Palin, does not seem to be able to tell the truth. In a new attempt to “shoot the messenger” (me) rather than admit that his story is concocted, he tries to turn the tables and call my credibility into question. The problem–there are witnesses and logistical impossibilities that expose further problems with his story. He says:

I could not have spoken to her in Independence, because I was not allowed backstage on the floor of the arena, where Loudon was; that was a restricted space, and, as far as I am aware, all reporters were barred from the area.

palin-spread

Quoting from the first words of his article:

Backstage in the arena, a little girl in Mary Janes pushes her brother in a baby carriage, stopping a few yards shy of a heavy, 100-foot-long black curtain. The curtain splits the arena in two, shielding the children from an audience of 4,000 people clapping their hands in time to “The Battle Hymn of the Republic.” The music accompanies a video “Salute to Military Heroes” that plays above the stage where, in a few moments, the children’s mother will appear.

When the girl, Piper Palin, turns around, she sees her parents thronged by admirers, and the crowd rolling toward her and the baby, her brother Trig, born with Down syndrome in 2008. Sarah Palin and her husband, Todd, bend down and give a moment to the children; a woman, perhaps a nanny, [this is the part he already admitted was an "error" after we exposed it on Big Journalism] whisks the boy away; and Todd hands Sarah her speech and walks her to the stage. He pokes the air with one finger. She mimes the gesture, whips around, strides on four-inch heels to stage center, and turns it on.

His next statement in his defense: (more…)

Michael Joseph Gross has now admitted that he made an “error” in regard to his slimy hit piece in Vanity Fair that he wrote about Sarah Palin.  He falsely reported that Sarah somehow disregarded her child at an event, when he knew the child was mine, and I took him from the Governor who was holding him right up until she was walking on stage.

He did not apologize to Sarah Palin, to me, or to either of our children, for the record.  He also has not retracted the other 99 lies in the piece.  At least not yet.

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

He accuses Sarah Palin of creating fictitious PACs to “hide” money she is supposedly collecting from all of these groups.   He speaks specifically in his piece about the “Take America Back” rally where the Governor, and I spoke, among others.

Not that Mr. Gross would know a pang of patriotism if he ran into a flagpole, but it appears a tutorial might be in order.  Since the MSM lies, distorts, and twists everything that happens in this country, and has for too long now, patriots rose up to re-claim what belongs to us.  Like 60% of the country, I am a patriot.  That means I (and my 100 million closest friends) love this country and you would have to pry my gun out of my cold, dead hands to take it from me. ***Updated

Remember Vanity Fair (you know–the stale, old magazine that no one buys unless they are on the cover or they are wishing they were, like Joy Behar)?  The recent hit piece on Sarah Palin by Michael Joseph Gross reveals that they must be as desperate as the rest of the MSM for sales/ratings, because they have lost all credibility, if they ever had any.

Reading his tripe was excruciating.  Some 90% of the hard accusations are attributed to anonymous “sources.”   This is billed as a profile piece, not exactly Watergate.  You have to do better than attributing everything to an anonymous “Deep Throat.”

I have read a lot of MSM slime over the years, but never, ever have I felt subjected to a more jealous, petty, sophomoric, disturbed piece of ragslime than I do after reading this latest on Sarah Palin.   Gross left nothing alone.  He attacked her beauty, intelligence, marriage, parents, friends, family, children, ability, sincerity, honesty, faith, state, husband, home, shoes, speeches, pastor, book, job, cooking, hunting skills, supporters, church, weight, undergarments… the list goes on.  I honestly cannot think of anything about her that he did not attack.

sarah-palin1

Sarah Palin doesn’t need me, or anyone else to defend her.  She is strong, self assured, and she has heard all of this unoriginal slime before now. The only thing new in his story is the new depth of utter disregard for professionalism in journalism. Here is an excerpt:

“When …Piper Palin turns around, she sees her parents thronged by admirers, and the crowd rolling toward her and the baby, her brother Trig, born with Down syndrome in 2008.  Sarah Palin and her husband, Todd, bend down and give a moment to the children; a woman, perhaps a nanny, whisks the boy away; and Todd hands Sarah her speech and walks her to the stage.”

Unfortunately for Mr. Gross, it happens that I shared the stage with Sarah Palin at that event.  I announced my BUYcott of Arizona that day, and I remember it well. (more…)

The Mainstream Media got caught with their hands in the cookie jar again.  They were jubilant to jump on the “it’s the Tea Party’s fault” bandwagon within hours of an August 17  firebombing of Democrat Congressman Russ Carnahan’s St. Louis office. No one was hurt.  The finger pointing was immediate, because this was a double header for the MSM.  Not only did this give them an opportunity to try to pin something, anything, on a Tea Partier, but it also gave them a chance to take pot shots at conservative favorite, Ed Martin, who is currently gaining in his race to oust the unpopular, liberal Carnahan in Missouri.

Ed Martin

Speculation began immediately for the liblogs, and in some local papers.  St. Louis Tea Party Founder Bill Hennessy quickly put out a statement that the bombing of a Congressman’s office should be immediately investigated by the FBI.  Bill and I  spoke at that time along with others in Tea Party leadership.  We knew,  without asking around or knowing the details, that this was not a Tea Party tactic, and that the investigation would lead to  the truth and further embarrassment of the left, by the left.

The Riverfront Times and other blogs reported that since the description of the suspect was “50, white, angry — he certainly fits the demographics of a Tea Party member.” (more…)

Rancor among religions is one thing, but the questions surrounding the proposed mosque at Ground Zero are an entirely different sort of attack.

The land surrounding Ground Zero is a war memorial. The proposal of an Islamic mosque there is synonymous with a Nazi war memorial in downtown London. How would the world react to that proposal? Wouldn’t Western Europe just about leap off the map if that were proposed? Where is the outrage from our European “friends?”

Ground_Zero_Spirit

Perhaps they are confused with the whole rosy picture of “peace” being painted by the Mainstream Media? Perhaps they believe the lie that this mosque is going to exist to “bring religions together.” Is that why they chose Ground Zero, the most hallowed ground in the country at the moment? (more…)

Unfortunately, the mainstream media (MSM) in their coverage of Arizona isn’t telling the whole story.  This battle has been portrayed as a racial issue, when in fact, it is not at all.

As the originator of the BUYcott concept, I have been asked to speak at BUYcott events in recent weeks.  This allowed me to spend time in shops, restaurants, and hotels in Arizona, and to speak to many people of all races regarding SB1070.  I put on my investigator hat and even I was surprised at how little we really know about the situation on the ground in Arizona.

alto-arizona-stop-sb-1070

  • LIE #1:  Most minorities are opposed to SB 1070 because they are afraid of being unfairly accused, stopped, racially profiled, or in some way inconvenienced or abused.

The facts:  The hotel where we stayed had Native Americans, Latinos, Hispanics, Middle Easterners, and Asians.  I used my down time to interview them about SB 1070 and I was shocked to learn that not one person I spoke with of any national or ethnic origin was opposed to SB 1070.

They know that dangerous terrorists have established an entire entry strategy utilizing the advantage of our broken borders, and as one Native American told me, “I would rather be asked for my ID than have my people blown to bits by a terrorist.”

Simple enough. (more…)

Really, GQ?  Using cheap shots at politicians to sell your magazine?

#FAILANDGOAWAY

I am not sure what I was going to get my husband for Father’s Day, but I can assure you, if the product graces the pages of GQ Magazine, it will not grace our Father’s Day!

The Junior High bathroom wall mentality on Twitter and other Social Media outlets is reaching…and I will not sit idly by while they use my child to do so. (more…)

It is a dark day in the former United States.  Vacant, lifeless poles, their cables clanging, where brilliant stars and stripes  danced before.  The children in straight, gray lines, heads hung low, the look of hope lost in their eyes.  The future is dark.

Churches sit vacant and in disrepair. New government agencies will soon move in and occupy the hallowed grounds where faithful used to gather. They were gone now. No one knew where. There were whispers, but no one really knew for sure.

But the media is alive with the power of Oneness. The National Circle News, the only newspaper in the country, tells of the efficiencies in systems and workers now, and the wholeness of One country, One circle, One unified nation under all. Workers wear white to symbolize the fresh new start in this more efficient, more streamline, more fair government. It is a government about the people, around the people, and in the people.

Crosses replaced with the New Circle, symbolizing unity and wholeness, after so many years of intolerance, selfishness, and greed.  The Nation has a new creed, “Let us never again be divided by intolerance, unfairness, or greed.”

I am really sorry that Rachel Maddow’s ratings have tanked and that Fox News is practically on the verge of owning MSNBC. There is a problem here, and I think I can help.

Apparently, Maddow and her copycats at the MSM still believe they “make” the news. They can’t seem to learn that viewers are abandoning the Mainstream Media in droves for Fox News while they continue in the fantasy that people actually believe they provide value.

Now comes a special on Timothy McVeigh’s 1995 act of terrorism in Oklahoma City, and how it “puts into perspective the threat posed by anti-government extremism.” The show airs at 9 p.m. eastern tonight.

Nine years after his execution, we are left worrying that Timothy McVeigh’s voice from the grave echoes in the new rising tide of American anti-government extremism.

The ‘McVeigh Tapes’ puts into perspective the threat posed by anti-government extremism. It doesn’t have to lead to violence, but it can and it has. We ignore this, our own very recent history of anti-government violence and the dangers of domestic terrorism, at our peril.

Well, not really.   (more…)

The leftist elements of the mainstream media (MSM) could be content just to gloat because they got away with the biggest coup in political history.  Instead, they are launching a full frontal assault on conservatism.  The left must be very afraid.

The accusations are flying.  Virtually every MSM news outlet is running commentary of alleged “racial slurs” and “violent outbursts.”   Shouldn’t they be running video of the actual incidents, instead (if they actually happened)?

Congressman Emanuel Cleaver (D, Mo.) made accusations and the media took the allegation as gospel despite the absence of any corroborating evidence.  The  MSM reported the allegation as news. Interesting, there was almost no national MSM coverage of an innocent black man who was attacked, beaten, and stomped on tape by SEIU protesters in St. Louis.

When Representative Cleaver found media attention for his yet unfounded accusations, others jumped in with more accusations.   They all got press, too.  They all accused conservative groups like the Tea Party of the threats, violent actions, and vicious activities. (more…)

The Politically Correct Boycott Corp is on the march again!  If the show doesn’t fit within your political agenda, then just boycott it and try to “shut up dissent.”  According to the Washington Post, around two hundred companies are now boycotting Glenn Beck.

When a journalist who gets great ratings is being attacked for doing what he does (as in the case of Glenn Beck) by those who scream about Freedom of Speech and high journalism, it’s like they have an “I’m with Stupid” tattoo punched into their foreheads.  Aren’t progressives the same people who think it is okay to decry every alleged “impropriety” by conservatives while hiding behind the guise of “free speech” for themselves? Is it somehow less appropriate for Glenn Beck to espouse his opinions?  Why?  Because he might be onto something, and his ratings are high?

Newsflash!  Beck is but a reflection of an entire mass of people who believe what he has the platform to say!  They aren’t going away. In fact, they are growing in spades!

Fox News executives know that if they let advertisers bully them into booting Beck, he will get another job, and advertisers will next be pressured to abandon O’Reilly or Hannity to try to censor them. Why would they make such a self-defeating, bad business decision? (more…)

A post entitled “Can Alinsky’s Tactics Work on the Right?  Should They?” by Christian Hartsock in Big Journalism, along with local battles between ultra- conservatives and other conservatives over using Alinsky’s tactics to further the cause, brings to light that the matter of “factioning” (breaking apart into rival groups) has become a concern.

gillray-1024x735

As an engaged Republican on the inside of politics for more than a decade now, I have seen pro-life activists faction and thus kill good bills for the sake of credit.  I have seen primary candidates lie about other candidates in order to win races they should not have won.  I have seen one person’s opinion smack down another conservative’s attempt to do right over side issues irrelevant to the goal.  This never produces real winners, and forces duplication of efforts for conservatives fighting the good fight.

The good news is that if conservatives are clashing, that means that the natural law of division is engaging, because there are enough conservatives to fight over how to defeat the left.  That is a convenience reserved only for groups that are strong, and winning. (more…)

The Mainstream Media’s (MSM’s) latest sport is to try to accuse the Tea Party activists of being Republican hacks. The reality is that their spin is demonstrative again, of their Pavlovian simplicity and lack of vision for their own agenda.

In truth, were the Democrats to give up their agenda of bigger government, more debt, and more spending, some Tea Partiers would return to the party of their grandparents.  Sadly, it appears more likely that donkeys will fly than turn from their statist tack.  For now, donkeys aren’t flying, and the Republicans have an opportunity to garner the support of the Tea Party if they play their cards right.

Flying_Donkey

Tea Partiers will admit that the Republican agenda is much more closely aligned with theirs than the Democrats, even if they are not ready to be pigeonholed with that label.  Most Tea Partiers say that under certain conditions, they might be Republicans, but for now, they are happy “looking in” and demanding changes. With a whiff of nostalgia, I can imagine the old time journalist with the smell of coffee and cigarettes wafting through the click and clang of the typewriter.   Fifty years ago, a “journalist” had the ring of a dispassionate, creative, honest, fair, and trusted detective/storyteller.  Fifty years ago, if you graduated from an accredited journalism school, you were presumed “unbiased.”  Much as the physician takes an oath that she will “first, do no harm,” the “journalist” title meant that you were first, unbiased and balanced. Neutrality in the story was as necessary as it was assumed.

old_school_reporter

Sometime between half a century ago and today, something went very, very wrong.

We can speculate on what the “something” was, but we may never know for sure.  Much like the wind blows, there is no discernible source, but still we know it blows. Journalism became slanted to the left to the degree that the right had almost no voice by the mid-1980s.   Almost no voice, until Rush Limbaugh came on the scene.  Almost 30 years later, the tables have turned.  The problem for these journalists is that they have functioned robotically and cavalierly for so long, that they are not aware of the reality around them.  Things have changed. Drastically. (more…)
