This article is not about endorsing Sarah Palin for president. It is about illustrating the liberal media’s ability to brand an image. Case in point, conservatives saying Palin is not smart enough to be president.

The Left launched their “Sarah Palin is Stupid” campaign the next day after her incredible VP nomination acceptance speech. A woman, pretty, smart, witty, confident and bold with an ability to inspire and fire up the conservative base, Sarah Palin was the Left’s worst nightmare. They were livid. The only thing which could have made it worse would have been if Palin was black. The Left would have surely lost their minds.

The clarion call went out,”Palin MUST be destroyed!”

When Sarah Palin appeared on Saturday Night Live, I watched with a bunch of my conservative friends. My friends laughed and made comments such as: “This is great. It shows Palin is a good sport and doesn’t take herself too seriously.”

I thought, “This is wrong. Why help the Left sell the message to their audience that Palin is stupid?” Humor is a powerful sales tool.

Liberals are despicably exploiting the tragic Tucson Arizona shooting as an opportunity to launch another “Hush Rush” initiative. A liberal pundit lamented that there is no left wing radio talk show host as powerful as Rush Limbaugh. Typical of their thinking, this lib believes it is unfair for Limbaugh to be King of the Radio Talk Show mountain. In every area of American life, this lib believes government should take control to produce equal “fair” outcomes.

So why isn’t there a left wing equivalent to Limbaugh? Lord knows they have tried. The left even launched an entire radio network, Air America, committed to trashing conservatives and America. Air America featured several “Great Left Hope” talk show host contenders to dethrone Limbaugh. They all crashed and burned including their radio network. Air America is off the air.

The National Press Club in Washington, D.C., was the scene of an historic event, August 4, 2010. For the first time in U.S. history, black conservative leaders from across America gathered for a national press conference. Their purpose was three fold. One, to rebuke the NAACP’s resolution accusing the tea parties of being racist. Two, to introduce themselves to America. Three, to dispel the myth that black conservatives are as rare as Bigfoot sightings.

As the organizer and spokesperson of Tea Party Express that hosted the event, I am constantly confronted by the liberal mainstream media, “Where are the conservative blacks?”

The NAACP’s politically motivated attack on the tea party movement based on unfounded charges of racism created the “perfect storm” for black conservative leaders, organizations, authors and entertainers to bond together to defend their fellow patriotic God-fearing Americans.

The National Black Conservative Press Conference featured speeches and Q & A by a “dream team” of America’s top black conservatives.

Of the approximate 30 to 40 media outlets in attendance, two black reporters, one from “Black Enterprise” and the other from another black media outlet were stunningly hostile and closed-minded during the Q & A. (more…)

Is Sarah Palin the leader of the Tea Party Movement? This is asked as a “gotcha” question by the liberal mainstream media of every spokesperson of the Tea Party Movement. The liberal mainstream media is so far out of touch with the majority of Americans, their rationale is, if they can get tea partiers to say a “wacko” like Palin is their leader, it will confirm that the movement is nothing more than a bunch of extremist fringe loonies.

In their arrogant, elitist, coastal, PETA membership, New York Times reading and “smarter than us common Americans” minds, the liberal mainstream media can not grasp the concept that Sarah Palin is the voice of most Americans. Thus, Tea Party patriot’s great love and admiration for her. Palin is the conservative voice America has been waiting for.

It’s a voice that the leftist media both loathes and fears, because it challenges their every assumption about what is right and good about America.

Palin boldly speaks out against political correctness and stands up for conservative principles and values. Not since Ronald Reagan has a politician so unapologetically championed conservatism. With all due respect to her femininity and beauty, Sarah Palin is the, long awaited, John Wayne of the Conservative movement. If only more of our “walk on eggs, careful not to offend and pandering to political correctness” male conservative politicians would take a cue from this extraordinary woman… (more…)

Here’s an interesting observation. The liberal mainstream media is relentless in their quest to portray the tea party patriots as racist. And yet, I have performed my song, “American Tea Party Anthem” at over 150 tea parties, been treated like a rock star. Not one tea party attendee has ever called me the “N” word.

Meanwhile, a Google search will reveal numerous liberal websites and blogs which freely and excessively call me an f-ing stupid “N” word.  The reason for their over the top anger and outrage against me, I express love for my country and refuse to be a hyphenated American.

The same liberals who accuse white conservative republicans of being mean-spirited, racist and intolerant are the hate-filled black and white democrats who use the “N” word every other word when writing about me and have even threaten me with physical harm.

After my performance at a tea party in Traverse City, Mich., a white reporter approached me for an interview. With a stone face, the snooty female reporter asked me a series of annoying questions straight out of the liberal playbook.  But, what really got my blood boiling was when she asked me the following question with the trademark liberal condescending edge: (more…)

I am Lloyd Marcus, black singer/songwriter of the American Tea Party Anthem traveling nationally on the Tea Party Express III tour. While riding on the bus to our first rally of the day in Davenport, Iowa, I opened the following email from a lady named Hallie Kempt.

Ms Kempt’s subject line read, “YOU ARE STILL A NIGGER”. Here is the text of her email.  The capital letters are all hers:

HOW FAST YOU SELECTIVE CHOSE TO FORGET. IT WAS NOT THAT LONG AGO THAT YOU WERE NOT ALLOWED IN THE MILITARY AND IS STILL DISCRIMINATED AGAINST AND THEY WILL ACCEPT YOU IN THE TEA PARTY AS LONG AS YOU DO NOT FORGET YOU ARE STILL A “NIGGER” NO MATTER HOW HARD YOU WANT TO FORGET, IT IS STILL IN THEIR MINDS. YOU ARE TO STUPID TO KNOW WHEN YOU ARE BEING USED. YOU AND MICHAEL STEELE. YOU MAKE ME SHAME OF MY BLACK BROTHERS. Television star and Big Hollywood contributor Victoria Jackson, formerly of Saturday Night Live, flew in from California to participate in our Nashville rally. Victoria performed at a few of our west coast rallies. The audiences love Victoria’s outspoken honesty, humor and funny songs.

They particularly enjoyed her latest hilarious song, “I Hope I Don’t Get Sick” which Victoria wrote in response to Obamacare while we were traveling on the Tea Party Express bus.

Through chatting with Victoria on the bus, I learned she is a Christian woman of great character who stands on principles. It is not easy to be a conservative in Hollywood. Acting jobs are not easy to come by. Victoria was asked to audition for a movie role which went against her values. Victoria said, “no.” Awesome! (more…)

The left is outraged when we question their patriotism and support of our military. Perhaps, our doubts about their sincerity have something to do with their behavior. Democrat politicians have accused our troops of rape and murder. Just before we won in Iraq, democrat Harry Reid declared the war lost. The left ran a New York Times full-page ad calling a decorated U.S. general a liar for reporting our troops were making progress in Iraq. And, how many U.S. military support rallies have you seen hosted by the left? The answer is none.

On the Tea Party Express tour, we honor our military with a special tribute at each rally. The keynote speaker for our tribute is an amazing woman named Debbie Lee. Debbie is a Gold Star mom. Her son, Marc Alan Lee, was the first U.S. Navy Seal to die in Iraq (8-02-06). Marc was awarded Silver Star, Bronze Star with Valor and Purple Heart.

Debbie’s shares the extremely compelling story about how her son put himself in harm’s way on three occasions to save his fellow soldiers. The third time, he did not survive. Debbie’s strong and yet gentle spirit captures the audiences. I witness the same phenomenon at every rally. You could hear a pin drop as thousands silently hang on her every word. Here is a quote from Debbie’s extraordinary son:

I cannot begin to tell you how honored and blessed I feel to be on the Tea Party Express tour and a part of a team of extraordinary people. Sarah Palin and Joe the Plumber are names you know. You may not be familiar with Tea Party Express singer/songwriter Diana Nagy.

Tea Party Express receives huge media coverage around the world. Understandably, singers and speakers all over the country want to be a part of our team. The beautiful and talented Diana Nagy has been touring and supporting our troops and America before it was cool. This is Diana’s third Tea Party Express tour. Prior to these tours, Diana performed on three national tours in support of our troops. For Diana Nagy, these tours are about serving and saving our country.

Recently, Diana was honored by the U.S Navy. She was asked to perform her original song, “Where Freedom Flies” at the commissioning ceremony of the USS Independence. Diana wrote the song in honor of her uncle who was one of the last fighter pilots shot down in WW II.

At each Tea Party Express rally, we do a special tribute to our military which includes Diana singing her “Where Freedom Flies.” Adversity has a way of revealing one’s true character. In Topeka, Diana awoke to realize she had no voice. She had the option of not performing her song for the veterans in attendance at our rally. Diana felt compelled to express her gratitude to our veterans by performing a less than perfect version of her song rather than not at all. She was a hit. What a true American and classy lady. So, I am on the Tea Party Express bus traveling to our next rally in Omaha, Neb., when the faces of black democrats Maxine Waters and Charley Rangel appear on TV on the Fox News channel. Both were saying racism was at the core of the Tea Party protester’s disagreement with President Obama. Please excuse my crudeness, but I wanted to puke.

These two race exploiters are calling the Tea Party protesters racist. Meanwhile, I am a black performer/activist traveling on my third national Tea Party Express tour. We just finished our rally in North Platte, Neb. Two white families asked me to hold their newborn babies and pose for pictures. Excited white grandparents who are fans of my articles and music asked me to pose for pictures with them and their grand kids. Numerous white patriots shook my hand with tears in their eyes thanked me for what I was doing for our country. A white woman who said she was 86 years old gave me a big hug in thanks for my efforts. Lloyd Marcus here checking in while on the Tea Party Express III tour bus with a 300 mile ride ahead of us. We had two rallies in Utah and are headed to Grand Junction Colorado.

My fellow performers on the tour are seasoned professionals. I am extremely excited about a new refreshing addition to our Tea Party Express team of performers. He is a young 20-something Hispanic conservative rapper who calls himself, “Polatik.” Polatik is a youth minister, husband and father of one, another in the oven, and an entrepreneur.

Polatik is open and honest about his past,which includes prison. He credits his relationship with Christ for turning his life around. He is passionate about teaching kids not to choose the wrong paths. He is a fine young man.

Our Tea Party Express team performs a variety of music. I was not sure how rap would play on the tour. I am pleased to report Polatik has been a hit at the rallies. Audiences appear to be taken aback a bit when his hip hop intro music begins.

But, when Polatik begins rapping about standing up for our Constitution and family values, they enthusiastically embrace and shower him with cheers.

It was hilarious and wonderful to see seniors and people wearing western gear bopping to a Hispanic kid rapping about his beloved country. It confirms that if you love America and stand on principle, you are one of us. It’s how we Tea Party patriots roll. (more…)

Like millions of my fellow Americans, I am outraged, devastated and extremely angry by the Democrats’ unbelievable arrogance and disdain for We The People. Despite our screaming “no” from the rooftops, they forced Obamacare down our throats. Please forgive me for using the following crude saying, but it is very appropriate to describe what has happened. “Don’t urinate on me and tell me it’s raining.” Democrats say their mission is to give all Americans health care. They’re lying. Signing Obamacare into law against both our will and the Constitution is tyranny and step one of their hideous goal of having as many Americans as possible dependent on government, thus controlling our lives and fulfilling Obama’s promise to fundamentally transform America.

I keep asking myself. How did our government move so far from the normal procedures of getting things done? Could a white president have so successfully pulled off shredding the Constitution to further his agenda? I think not.

Ironically, proving America is completely the opposite of the evil racist country they relentlessly accuse her of being, progressives used America’s goodness, guilt and sense of fair play against her. (more…)

As a child, I watched a lot of westerns and cowboy movies. I saw the same scenario in countless films. The sheriff had a prisoner locked up in his jail waiting to stand trial when the judge arrived in the morning. Some loudmouth, convinced the prisoner was guilty, would stand on the steps of the jail house and rally the crowd. His words whipped them into a frenzy, “Let’s drag the no good piece of scum out here and hang him, now!” The angry mob would overrun the sheriff and his deputies, drag out the terrified prisoner who was proclaiming his innocence and pleading for his life and hang him. I was always amazed how people could so easily be manipulated and sheepishly follow one loud mouth.

In his gazillionth, and most recent health care speech, Obama used the same “give ‘em somebody to hate” tactic against the insurance industry. Outrageously displaying behavior unbecoming to the office of the presidency, Mr. Obama, with no holds barred, attempted to make the American people hate, and seek political vengeance against, the insurance industry.

After masterfully portraying them as cruel monsters who only care about profits, President Obama basically said, let’s drag those no good S.O.B insurance companies out and hang them by passing government run health care. As a black proud Tea Party patriot, I am extremely offended by MSNBC’ host Dylan Ratigan’s baseless accusation that the Tea Party Movement (my white brother and sister fellow patriots) embraces Nazis and racists. Ratigan’s attack epitomizes the liberal media’s commitment to protect Obama and his radical agenda at all costs. They have a genuine disdain for freedom, capitalism and We The People. No tactic is too low. Ratigan’s rant:

While interviewing (really badgering) Mark Williams of the Tea Party Express, Ratigan outrageously to portray the Tea Party Express but tour as a far right hate group supportive of the killing of blacks and Jews. Well then, what the heck am I doing on the bus? Did I miss the “People We Hate” memo? Or perhaps, the organizers hid that memo from me and other blacks on the tour.

Left wing fanatics such as Ratigan have no shame. Incredibly they will throw the innocent Tea Party patriots under the bus in defense of Obama and his far left radical agenda. (more…)
