On July 14, 2010, Cybercast News Service (CNS) reported that the health care reform legislation Obama signed into law on March 23, 2010 will soon employ tax-payer funds to pay for abortions in Pennsylvania. According to CNS, the “Health and Human Services Department is giving Pennsylvania $160 million to set up a new high-risk insurance pool that will cover any abortion that is legal in the state.”
And in addition to the $160 million going to Pennsylvania, the federal government is also dispersing $12.5 billion for “community health centers” which can then, in turn, “fund abortions.”

In other words: When Obama issued an Executive Order barring the use of federal monies for abortion, it meant nothing. (Yes, it meant Congressman Bart Stupak (D-MI) was gullible, but other than that it meant absolutely nothing.)
Not only is Obama’s administration doing what he promised it wouldn’t do, but it’s trying to cover its tracks while doing it. Thus, instead of sending money directly to abortion providers, monies go to “community health centers” which then pay for abortions as needed. Or, in the case of Pennsylvania, tax-payer monies are placed at the discretion of state administrators for high risk insurance pools who then distribute the funds to abortion clinics.
While the administration may believe this provides them with some degree of plausible deniability, because it’s ostensibly a state official who signs the check that pays the abortionist, they’re not fooling anyone. House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-OH) made that much clear on July 13, 2010 when he said, “The fact that the high-risk pool insurance program in Pennsylvania will use federal taxpayer dollars to fund abortions is unconscionable.”
Yet amid these lies and broken promises, where is the media outrage?
Outside of CNS, where is Keith Olbermann, the Huffington Post, and others who run with every rumor against Republicans, but are silent with it comes to holding Obama’s feet to the fire concerning this deception over tax-payer funded abortion?
How many times did Olbermann feign genuine concern for our nation’s good when he referred to President George W. Bush as liar? For example, it was in his “Special Comment About Lying,” October 6, 2006, that Olbermann not only accused Bush of lying about our enemies in the War on Terror but of “[throwing] this country’s principles away [through his] lies.”
And how many times did the Huffington Post run articles based on raw, unfounded allegations against Sarah Palin in 2008, like when they ran with the National Enquirer’s story alleging an affair between Palin and her husband’s business partner?
It appears that the commentators who were eager to prove Bush a liar over things that weren’t lies and the newspapers that were chomping at the bit to accuse a high profile Republican of something unfounded have remained altogether quiet when it comes to reporting the facts about Obama’s lies.
When liberal pundits like Olbermann justify their criticism of Bush’s alleged “lies” based on a love of this “country’s principles,” they need to remember that they undercut those very principles by turning a blind eye to the actual lies of Democrats who ought to be held to the same standard as Republicans.
And this is particularly true when the lying Democrat is in the White House, and when the ramifications of his actions entail the use of tax-payer funds to pay for abortions.

We now live in a world where people are finally waking up to the lies of the politicians and their media enablers. It is due to sites and articles like this. Thank you for helping the "Great Awakening" to become reality.
On this particular issue; How can the left fight so hard against putting a serial murderer to death, but so casually think it is OK for the government to sanction the killing of fetuses? Once that abhorant act is done, how can they with a clear conscience, lobby for using those same murdered fetuses for "research", but lobby so hard against animal testing?
Who the Hell didn't see this one coming?
And what about the use of Federal money to fund elective abortions in NM? Their next in line.
Obama lies – babies die
Oh wait, they're not babies until after 3 months…or 6 months…or…they can't stay alive outside of the mother without help….or………or…………they have a concept of self…….or…………………………………..
5 out of 9 judges say so.
"Outside of CNS, where is Keith Olbermann, the Huffington Post, and others who run with every rumor against Republicans, but are silent with it comes to holding Obama’s feet to the fire concerning this deception over tax-payer funded abortion?"
Because he was lying for a good cause, silly! Either that, or they're so used to lying they're incapable of telling the truth anymore. Vis-a-vis federally-funded abortions, I'm going with the former. All other coverups of Obamanations fall under the latter, IMHO. Not exactly rocket science. Not that this piece did not need to be written because it's so obvious. The lies have to be countered on all occasions and at all costs.
The Left operates under the same principal as our dear terrorist in the religion of pieces, it is permitted
to lie to an infidel. We conservatives are the infidel's. Evidently Stupak fits the profile as well.
oHugo jr has no regard for US law, he studied it, with support from his Arab benefactor only to learn its
weaknesses.
oHugo jr's Regime has been told they may not ban offshore drilling twice, and they repeatedly reissue
the ban.
There is NO US Law that the Regime will not break, and o's promises are worthless.
The 'man' has NO honor !
The MSM is corrupt to it's very core, also the internet purveyors like yahoo help promote the lies, yahoo deletes every post that sheds real light down the rathole, censorship of thought is being used systematically across america now, soon sites like this will more than likely get shut down unless the 20 million americans, the number is growing, take a stand, thats what it is going to take. This government needs to have a healthy fear of it's citizens, not the other way around.
The judge who issued the ruling that the drilling ban was not in the interest of the people need to hold the Obama administration in contempt of court and haul their rearends back into his court.
And the other 4 have no concept of Constitutional Law

Only there's one problem. Both Obama Administration and Pennsylvania officials say the NRLC's interpretation is simply incorrect — elective abortions will NOT be allowed in the new program.
"Pennsylvania has not signed a contract yet to start operating their Pre-Existing Condition Insurance Plan," said HHS Spokeswoman Jenny Backus. And when they do, she added, "our contract that states are signing says clearly that we will be issuing guidance on the administration of Pre-Existing Condition Insurance Plan so they know they will have to live by our guidance per the contract" when it comes to abortion coverage.
And that's no problem, says Rosanne Placey, of the Pennsylvania Department of Insurance. "Very simply, federal law controls. We know that," she said. "We absolutely do not cover elective abortions.
"We are drawing down federal money. We do that in more that one program," she said, including Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Programs, which similarly ban abortion. "We understand that." http://www.npr.org/blogs/health/2010/07/14/128516...

Conservative concern for fetuses doesn't come off as genuine after Iraq. So, what do we have here? They are receiving federal money. They understand that just like other programs for which they receive federal government money, they can't use it to fund abortion.
"We are drawing down federal money. We do that in more that one program," she said, including Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Programs, which similarly ban abortion. "We understand that."
Much ado about nothing.
I'm just waiting for the first pinhead to associate anti-abortion with racism.
5. . . 4. . . 3. . . 2. . .
"haul their rearends back to court"……..agree, but don't hold your breath waiting.
It would be wonderful if we could find someone with the intestinal fortitude to keep slapping that ban
down, over and over. Judges have dreams though, they want to move up the ladder to a higher pay-
ing position, so eventually will probably fold.
"Conservative concern for fetuses doesn't come off as genuine after Iraq."
Huh? I just about applauded you until that crass remark. Personally I'm glad that they won't cover elective abortions. But when you put something THAT assinine right after that, then I have serious doubts about your state of mind.
Mind expanding that rationalization?
"Conservative concern for fetuses doesn't come off as genuine after Iraq."
Please explain. I don't see the connection between killing babies and killing violent extremist who get off on cutting the ears off innocent victims (Sadam) of behead people for such offensives as placing tomatoes next to cucumbers on their vegetable cart (Al-Qaeda). You seem to be making some sort of moral equivalence.
Mr Hawkins, This past week my Representative Randy Neugeauer TX-19 gave an interview to a local radio
station. In this interview he alluded to allegations against the oRegime regarding their misconduct interfere-
ing in the constitutional processes of the country of Kenya as regards their abortion law. He further stated
that an investigation was possibly warranted.
I hope this was not merely a blatant attempt to stir up the local pro-life orgs before election time.
Mr Neugebauer does not strike me as one who would subscribe to shameless tactics, at least
during my interaction with him.
MyKu:
I would enjoy the
Roe Effect results if it
did not mean murder.
Sure. 500,000-1,000,000 people died in Iraq as a result of the US invading. I'm also glad they won't cover elective abortions. However, it's hard to argue that one cares about unborn fetuses when one looks for every excuse to defend the invasion of Iraq. So, we know it wasn't because of WMDs. It must be because Saddam was a really, really, bad guy. What's left out is that many of Bush II's administration officials arguing this were part of the Reagan administration, under which the US provided intelligence support to Saddam, took Iraq off the terror list(thus allowing them to acquire chemical and biological weapons), and blocked a UN resolution condemning Iraq's use of chemical weapons against the Kurds. One could argue that abortion is wrong. But when one doesn't show compassion towards, for instance, the thousands killed and raped by Reagan-funded terrorist death squads, they quickly lose credibility in my mind.
This is why Democrats can't fight terrorists very well. They think killing killers is worse than killing infants.
Thanks for the reply. Although the numbers you produce can be debated, and the existance of WMD's as well (see Syria) I still don't see the relavance. If you are using lives lost as compared to lives lost via abortion, it would stand to reason that the argument is based on the issue that the "fetus" is a life. That being the case, we then can compare 500K in Iraq to 50 million aborted. Another argument would be the validity as to whether we belonged there in the first place, which is pretty much moot, because we are there regardless.
War sucks. People die. I'd rather there be no war at all, but since I'm not ruler of the universe, then what I want has as much validity as a fart in a hurricane.
But, unless I'm mistaken, no one has declared war on unborn innocents. Many of which, have died simply because they would have "inconvenienced" the parent (s).
Apples and oranges, as far as I'm concerned.
I very clearly remember immediately after Obama signed his executive order, Susan Wasserman Schultz gave an interview and said in strong terms that abortion WOULD be available in the new health care bill. No ifs, ands or buts about it. Abortion WOULD be available. I remember getting a sinking feeling in my stomach. Every time I see her on TV, I get that same feeling.
That only works "through the looking glass", of course that's where they spend most their time.
ACtually, though liberals would NEVER admit this, since a majority of abortions are of black babies, abortion IS racist to some extent. But it is not what liberals want exposed, so the NAACP will not come out with a resolution condemning abortion.
Six good pro-life cartoons at http://drawfortruth.wordpress.com/category/pro-li...
Hmm, when a doctor recommends an abortion I presume that it's no longer elective? If that's the case (please correct me if I'm wrong as I'm not that familiar with the definition of elective in Pennsylvania) how tough is it going to be to find a doctor (and again I'm presuming that any doctor with a medical degree will do) who will rubber stamp a woman's request to get an abortion.
Please, Bart Stupack was not hoodwinked, lied to or fooled. The days of believing these democrats are not behind every lie and bad policy of this administration must be over. Bart Stupack needed some cover for his vote. Obama gave it to him. End of story. Stupack is a creep and should not ever be considered a defender of the unborn. He is simply another democrat politician who will do anything to get the next vote and more power. Please stop being naive. Republicans have to stop believing the myth of the democrat politician with the heart of gold.
Where do you get your figures? Or do you do like the rest of the liberal scum and just make them up as you go along.
Congrats, Stupak. You knew that Obama's Executive Order was meaningless. That's why Obama did it behind closed doors; he was going to sneak tax-payer funded abortion into everything.

I'm waiting for the race-baiters to say something about black women and the lack of health care coverage.
http://www.usccb.org/comm/archives/2008/08-152.sh...
Many African Americans are not aware that since the Roe v. Wade decision legalized abortion throughout all 9 months of pregnancy, the number one cause of death in the African American community has been abortion. We have lost over 13 million lives. To put that in perspective, it is one third of our present Black population. Since 1973, twice as many Black Americans have died from abortion than from AIDS, accidents, violent crimes, cancer, and heart disease combined.
No one here in the real world understands why Republican KookTards froth at the mouth whenever it comes to providing women with the ability to control their fertility and their health through abortion as deemed necessary by trained doctors.
Given your support for the murder and the maiming of tens of thousands of Innocent Iraqi children (among other children all around the world), one would suspect that American Republicans love to murder children as you Kook Tards actively support such a large amount of it.
Can you Kook Tards explain this to us Rationalists without yammering nonsense about mass religious halucination or some other anti-human quackery?
You know, if the world actually ran on the principles of Magical Republican non-thought, then the Republican Plan to profit from borrowing and spending would have worked rather than put the now Failed American State into bankruptcy.
Some dare call that treason.
I know I do.
What's With the Random Capitalization? And is "KookTard" one word or two?
Claims of superiority are all well and good, but they're only effective when delivered in such a way that is darned impeccable.
This is something I don't understand about you Progressives. You talk talk talk about standing up for all human rights, but your actions (or lack of actions) prove otherwise. What is your position on human trafficking , women's rights in the Islamic world, homosexual rights in the Islamic world, heck- human rights in the Islamic world? Why do you all love criminals so much? You are against killing guilty murderers, rapists, child molesters, and terrorists. Yet you don't mind killing an innocent baby. Hmmm, yeah, that's what I call rational thinking.
Also, if you want to use the warn out phrase "This is MY body" then-"This is MY body" I don't want to be forced to buy socialized healthcare. I want to choose the doctors I feel comfortable with and make my own decisions about the care I receive. I also do not want to be forced into getting my BMI measured. It is my body afterall. If I want to be as big as the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, that is my choice.
Have a nice day.
The MSM is full of BS. you bunch of Obama bootlickers
You know, a thought just came to me… Didn't a whole lot of felons get Franks elected in MN?
Well, "fetuses" can't vote.
Apparently, many felons in prison can not only get stimulus checks for buying the same house, but they can vote.
