After years of manual calculation, Milutin Milankovic –a relative of Wegener and Koppen, who originated "continental drift"– in 1930 defined three astronomical/geophysical factors governing Earth's cyclically varying atmospheric temperature: The planet's axial tilt, its orbital eccentricity, and its precession-of-the-equinoxes over a Great Year. Milankovic's findings were initially invalidated by radio-carbon dating [shades of Lord Kelvin disputing Earth's billion-year history before Einstein's mass-energy equivalence showed Sol not a chemical but a nuclear furnace], but improved carbon-dating techniques vindicated his hypotheses in detail by the early 1990s.

Like botany, climatology is not an empirical, experimental, but a classificatory discipline dealing in hindsight, incapable of projecting any future evolution. By Lorenz's Chaos Theory (1964), "complex dynamic systems" such as Earth's atmosphere exhibit "sensitive dependence on initial conditions" (the Butterfly Effect), non-random yet indeterminate, which renders linear extrapolation mathematically impossible, while Boltzman's dissipative Law of Entropy equates any "greenhouse effect" in such an open system with physically impossible perpetual motion. All told, anthropogenic global warming (AGW) has neither a mathematical nor a physical leg to stand on. The Green Gang of Briffa, Hansen, Jones, Mann, Trenberth et al. resorted to deceit, manipulation, unpardonable junk-scientific fraud, because their circular models, skewed samples, invalid evaluative techniques could not supply evidence where none existed.
