Last week, Andrew Breitbart sat down with David Brody of the Christian Broadcasting Network and articulated his position that the media is the primary adversary to those fighting for traditional American values.
Watch the whole thing: you’re sure to enjoy when Andrew discusses that while the New Media may well save the Republic (and perhaps the world), it has already saved him personally.
The Brody File show airs tonight on the CBN Newschannel.
A full profile of Andrew Breitbart will air on The 700 Club show May 13th.
Some highlights/discussion points below:
“Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid posses limited charms. Their ability to get what they need to get done is because they’re doing, they’re carrying the water of the media.”
“By aiming everything at the media, I’ve pretty much done the one thing they ask you not to do: ‘please accept the premise that we’re fair and let’s move on.’ No, I’m not going to accept that premise.”
“The difference between me and Rush is Rush is accused of being uncivil with these people, when in fact he’s polite with them. I’m not. Because I’ve had enough with the type games they play. I’ve had enough of them rigging the system so that they win every single time.”
“I want it to be an international movement. This is the same battle that Ronald Reagan and millions of other people fought in the 20th century; it just has a 21st century New Media battleground. The Cold War is now a New Media War.”

Oh hell ya! GET UM' Andrew! You are dead on in your characterizations of the liars and cheats in the media that have so disappointed our country. They will stop at nothing to push their liberal agenda so push back equally hard and millions will support you.

Hells yeah! THANK YOU, Andrew! Thank you for being our voice. I second what paganpink wrote.
Keep on Keeping on Andrew … A couple of carrots for Retracto.
Breitbart has it right. Cold War ended and many fell asleep. Communism lost, Capitalism won, uhuh, sure. Free Market only exist due to foundation of morals and individual responsibility.
Judeo-Christian values allow freedom, liberty and free markets vs Marxist-Atheism that rules by statist, centralized control, replacement of HaShem.
Replacing the Creator, leaves men to their own wicked devices. They eventually enslave people. In their refusal to teach Judeo-Christian ethics, they must create Borg-like systems of Control. The individual is lost to the state, works for the state and exist with rights given only by the state and not the Creator.
Great job Andrew… keep fighting the good fight.
Andrew is a trailblazer for sure. I only hope that his success will encourage more like-minded people to step up and continue to take on the old media. Keep chipping away at 'em… The tide is turning and Andrew deserves a huge chunk of credit for that.
Why Breitbart will persevere is because it is not about Andrew. It is about the truth.
Ultimately the truth prevails. Time is the factor that no one controls. NO ONE. But we are running out of it in the USA.
WE MUST pull more than our weight.

This is not limited to Media war. It is Corporate, Leftist Elites and megalo-maniac quacks. Google, Hollywood, GE, MicroSoft, Soros, and "Foundations" work to control us.
They are "enlightened" and Conservative/Judeo-Christians are cave people. They meet in Davos, etc., to move forward their utopian visions.
These snakes are liars. Cheating for world dominance. Pushing "equal" outcome in Marxist systems. There is only Dominant Bureaucrats over sheep. If you refuse to bow down to Statist positions, you are persona non grata.
They attack through Schools, Universities, Unions, TV. Dividing by race, rich/poor. Non-Profits divide America into camps, like La Raza, MoveOn.org, and GreenPeace.
They teach, "Thou Shall Covet" until BigGov gives it to XYZ victims. Their stategy is Thou Shall Covet from 5 til 65.
Yeshua warned of this and the Lord gave Moshe 10 Commandments for this reason. Founding Fathers were wise to include them in schools from the start. Snakes ripped them out.
Not only is Andrew Breitbart a Fine American and a Decent Man. He is "The Man". Go all the way Andrew the Left is Punchy. They don't even know what round it is. We'll tell them when the stretcher comes.
Anyone see where Bill Gates is giving out scholarships to all people but "whites?" Now how is that not a civil rights lawsuit?
The ACLU and the left invaded our nation, tore it apart thru the Court Systems and lied to us for over 50 years now.
We need School Choice as much as we need New Media Choice. Why must Judeo-Christians pay taxes for Atheist school systems? That is discrimination and against our Founding Fathers original vision. Our children grow up without any knowledge of the past about our leaders true vision and beliefs. As a result, they're taught Socialist/Marxist ideology by a bunch of leftist zealots. Then they go to universities to be indoctrinated another 4-10 years in socialist and social enginering platforms. They're fully brainwashed by the time they enter societry as workers.
We must fight for school choice as much as we fight for new media choices.
when my Liberal friends tell me how much they hate Andrew…it just makes me smile.

This guy is a petty creature who from what I heard in an interview with him on Charlie Rose became a conseravtive because he was dismayed over an old woman complaining to the superintendent about a light bulb he never got around to changing.
The free market is an economic theory and shouldnt be treated as an infallible dogma. its not perfect and I think our current economic crisis proves that quite well. Unregulated markets and the failure of Paulson to initially bailout Leihman in order to uphold the "free market" lead to a systemic collapse which is now felt as far away as Greece and Spain. Hence why after he realized he had practically sunk the world ran to congress for 788 billion dollars to bailout the banks. This idea that we should have a wild west style unregulated market is crazy. Without the bailouts of the big banks and AIG we would have slipped into the abyss economically and woke up in a world far far different from the one we left.
These partial quotes can be very misleading.
If you haven't reached a point where you can see that religious systems and organizations are more about building their own system and organization and not about living a genuinely Godly life then you are missing the point altogether.
Just because someone says that these religious systems and organizations were not good does not mean the they reject the Judeo/Christian principles and values.
Andrew is so correct! The left does not "play fair" but of course they are not really playing a game, they are in this 100% to take over.
Many of those who are involved, from the former main stream media all the way down to the local leftist school teacher are not concerned about being right, they are simply wanting to be on the "winning" side which they believe to be the left/progressive crowd.
I'm with you in one regard — theocracies are dangerous, and, almost without exception, tyrannical.
However, the foundation of our recent economic woes lies in our hybrid economic system, which has, for a long time, been capitalism lite.
Free minds in a free market can do remarkable things. Once the government begins to pick winners and losers, through even a seeminingly innocuous means such as the federal income tax code, monopolies arise. It's always the already-successful who lobby like hell for an industry to be regulated, to keep johhny-come-lately competitors from kicking their asses.
We've been on this track so long that you're probably right about much of what you say. However, it didn't have to be this way. In fact, economically speaking, we lost our way. Big time.
Principles and values — I can relate to those. But still, Madison and Jefferson, in particular rejected the entire thing. Madison (I think) argued against having chaplains in the military. They didn't just reject the less-than-perfect applications of the faith, they rejected the faith itself
Religion is very dangerous. I was a Protestant for most of my life, and I never knew how dangerous religion is until I'd been out of it for ten years. I love the good works of the church, and I love my Christian friends, but religion is a very dangerous thing, nonetheless.
Do you see the dichotomy in the minds of those (not necessarily you) who want limited government, but insist, at the same time that an agent of the government, a schoolteacher, lead their kids in a prayer?
And they think they know ever so much better than us how we should live, right down to how much money we should be "allotted" and how we should parcel it out.
Leftism always resorts to tyranny, always. Their system is against human nature, therefore they must rely on brute force to establish it, as a system of government. Free people want no part of their BS.
GO ANDREW!!!
"But this is what these creeps do," Breitbart said. "I'm sick of having cocktails with them. I'm now at war with them. No more cocktails."
Oops. What was this past weekend?
Obviously, I'm a fan…. but it's best to walk the walk if you're going to talk the talk…. or else admit it was hyperbole before you contradict yourself, Mr. B.
Just giving you a little Boehlert treatment for fun. — Tee

So the bailouts didn't start soon enough? Are you kidding me?
What was at the root of the breakdown? Sub-prime mortgages were at the heart of the breakdown, and where did they get their nose under the tent? Well, I'll be darned it it wasn't the Community Reinvestment Act that was re-vamped and reinterpreted by the Clinton administration.

No one is saying that there should be "no government". This current crisis is precisely the result of too much government interference, and as always the leftists think that more government is always the answer but all they do is muck things up even worse.
The fact that the former main stream media is being overly supportive of the left, if not all out in the tank for them, is proof that they have abandon their true roll of monitoring and reporting the truth about today's current events. Reporting the facts, not simply taking the opposite point of view solely for the sake of argument, is what journalism is about.
Democracy in the U.S.A. was never intended to obliterate Judeo/Christian principles and values and if Judeo Christian principles and values are adhered too, not religious dogma (and there is a big difference),
Secularism is just as much a belief system as anything, and even more dangerous.
You go get em andrew, we got your back, I will be praying for your mission in life!
scott
Soviet Union…Fascist Italy…Nazi Germany…Maoist China…North Korea…Kampuchea…Communist Viet Nam…Zimbabwe…THOSE secular societies? Whether or not their current leaderships remember it, it is those nations which owe their culture and legal systems to Judaeo-Christian values which comprise what we know of as the civilized world. It didn't just happen; and removing the religious component generally leads to worse-not better-cultures.
Hmmmm, ditto heads here too.
“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague.”
Marcus Tullius Cicero 106 BC-43 BC
Now we know how old the O-Team is and how far they go back.
Hit them with both Barrels as were on your "6" !
A war of words. The realization hit me a few months ago.
Hew must be taking pointers from Glen Beck and laughing all the way to the bank.
Andrew is right the left plays dirty, they lie and accuse the right of what they are guilty of.(Before You Accuse Me, Take A Look At Yourself) Bo Diddley. I remember William Buckley in knock out drag out debates in 1968 with that looney snob Gore Vidal, classic stuff. It is time to transform the new media.
Obviously you arent familiar with the Constitution or the concept of the seperation of Church and State. Our Founding Fathers if you spent even one second researching the topic instead of swallowing what Pat Robertson or Sean Hannity might have told you were highly critical of religion or downright detested it.
If we look back into history for the character of the present sects in Christianity, we shall find few that have not in their turns been persecutors, and complainers of persecution. The primitive Christians thought persecution extremely wrong in the Pagans, but practiced it on one another. The first Protestants of the Church of England blamed persecution in the Romish Church, but practiced it upon the Puritans. They found it wrong in Bishops, but fell into the practice themselves both there (England) and in New England."— Benjamin Franklin
I almost shudder at the thought of alluding to the most fatal example of the abuses of grief which the history of mankind has preserved–the Cross. Consider what calamities that engine of grief has produced!" — John Adams, letter to Thomas Jefferson
"On the dogmas of religion, as distinguished from moral principles, all mankind, from the beginning of the world to this day, have been quarreling, fighting, burning and torturing one another, for abstractions unintelligible to themselves and to all others, and absolutely beyond the comprehension of the human mind." — Thomas Jefferson
And uh, sorry I dont remember any so called Marxist rhetoric during school. In fact quite the opposite.
Andrew, you are my hero.
Amen!
Breitbart's analysis of and response to the left-wing is dead on. These folks are naturally mean liars, and they deserve no mercy or quarter. The first shoe to drop won't be a Republican sweep of Congress this year, although that is where the focus must be now. No, the first shoe to hit the floor will be the utter humiliation of Obama in 2012. The second shoe to drop, and Breitbart realizes it, will be the bloody purge of the left-wing from academia, the "media," and other corrupted institutions. That will be where it gets interesting and where we will win this once and for all. He, and others like him, have started to lay the groundwork via the exposure of the lies and graft that pass for information. It was only through unfiltered media deception that the Left kept a grip on power in this country for half a century, but that model no longer is available short of a Stalinist state, which can't be pulled off here despite some pretty strong efforts.
The battle for the future has been joined.
God Bless Andrew and his Big websites.
Just heard you on Rusty Humphries' show. Way to lay it down.
America is Not about "One Man " and his agenda to change America into his radical ID…we must stand together and get all this communist out of our White House……All..
We need Andrew so much.
