Police have become the thugs and enforces to the polical establishment. Here in SC half of one of the cities police force is under arrest for drug trafficing, others are lying on police reports and threaten citizens without recourse. The police forces need to stop protecting each other, because the populace is getting sick of it, they are mistrusting the police and not wanting to help them because of the police behavior. Question them and they will threaten you, quote the law and they ticket you, stand up for your rights and you'll be in jail quickly! These jack booted thugs don't know the trouble they are stirring everytime they act out their power trips against the unwiting public.
Not all cops, I know a few officers who would love to practice some advanced riot control on a union group like this and many are in the Chicago area. Besides, there is some really cool new less than lethal equipment that hasn't been field tested yet.
I'm not able to watch the video, but I've read enough about this to know that (1) the police were called and (2) they did not respond. The SEIU assembly was illegal and numerous laws were broken, and the police did nothing. I hope they are not surprised when decent, law abiding citizens start to form vigilante groups and do what they have to do to protect themselves, their families, and their property. If the police won't do their jobs, we'll do their jobs for them. Just like Islamic terrorist hijackers, SEIU will not be able to get away with this behavior for very long. We're onto them, and now that we know they're supported by some police departments, we'll take care of ourselves.
Still think the image of my four year old confronting this group on my property with an AK 47…..I can see the look on liberals faces seeing this little girl pretty in pink wielding a AK like a pro….
So, the Montgomery County police representative confirms that they did meet the Metro police at the line. I would assume that the buses would still be within sight of both enforcement agencies. Where did the Montgomery County police go after the handoff? Why didn't the police ask where they were going? If the Metro police couldn't answer, then the police should have continued their "shadow". What took the officers so long to respond?
In this country, the real fight is not Democrats vs. Republicans, but public versus private sector. We see how the public sector will protect themselves at all costs. Teachers, police officers, public officials and public unions know that they can do whatever they want to demonize the private sector. No law will stop them as long as they keep supporting the people in power.
Basically both departments mouth pieces are try to CYOA by not officially confirming. I see a lot of dancing going on to try to keep a pi$$ing match from forming between the 2 departments. You rarely hear about them but having seen these fights first hand, they get very ugly. There is a lot more going on and I would say that politicians are heavily envolved to the determent of the police and public safety.

The police were incredibly negligent in their protection of the people in this neighborhood…. some things come to mind like “Unlawful assembly” “Trespassing” “Public Nuisance” One union protects another, pretty scary!

Megyn stated the law and the law mentioned nothing of his little exemption. I can't believe this guy wouldn't admit to that. By his logic it is ok to commit a crime as long as the police aren't there watching you do it. Does this include robbery? murder? Absolutely horrid. He should resign immediately in disgrace for failure to perform his duties and failure to understand his job. He is either totally incompetent or in collaboration with the SEIU.

What actually happened was that the SEIU had police from another jurisdiction accompany them to this man's house. That only served to give the SEIU legitimacy, because the police from another jurisdiction could not have enforced the local laws. (ie. it looked good)

Okay. I get it. This is a pattern for this group. They time it just right. Hit and run before the police arrive. Cross jurisdictional boundaries and cause the police to bump into each other and go, "Whoop, whoop, whoop!" and stuff.
The police admitted a couple of times in this interview to being so utterly terrified of the mob of anarchists that they did not dare confront them. Frozen in fear. Quaking. Eyes welling up. Until finally, after what seemed like hours (but was actually minutes), in one final burst of bravado, they put in reverse and burned off.

First, the DC cop is a liar. Second is ignorant of constituional law. He justified this police state action by saying it was a 1st amendment protest. It was not. The 1st amendment protects speech in a PUBLIC FORUM, not on private property.
If this was a 1st amendment protest, then the local polce dept. in San Francisco would be permitted to escort busloads of tea partiers to Nancy Pelosi's home while she was home, and just stand by while the protesters trampled Pelosi's property and screamed through bullhorns.
Police taking political sides and allowing the law to be broken to furhter political agendas is the nothing more than a police state.

I happen to work in the law enforcement field. If what the Montgomery Co. Police Captain is saying is true, his officers cannot pursue criminal charges unless they personally witness the crime occurring? People caught committing retail theft are often prosecuted based on CCTV evidence provided by retail stores. Sports fans committing crimes during sporting events are often prosecuted based on video evidence. Perhaps the SEIU represents his department? Has anybody looked into that?
