While Chris Matthews is fretting about “the rise of the new right” in an upcoming June 16 MSNBC special that’s sure to be a paranoid, lunatic-fringe load of laughs, maybe he should include this footage of the scene outside Rep. Mel Watt’s office in North Carolina the other day:

On Tuesday June 8, the North Carolina Tea Party Patriots held a protest against government bailouts in front of Rep. Mel Watt’s (D-N.C.) Greensboro office. During the protest a raging leftist goon, Governor Spencer, turned out, disrupted the protest, confronted the patriots, argued with them and then… He started throwing punches!
The whole thing was caught on tape.
The raging goon, Governor Spencer, slugged Nathan Tabor, a business owner and head of the Forsyth County Republican Party and a former candidate for senator.
But, that’s not all…
Governor Spencer is a union organizer, a socialist and a black liberation activist.
Spencer led the Greensboro K-Mart protests of 1995 and mobilized families, communities, and “the Pulpit Forum of Greensboro, a coalition of progressive clergy, to commit acts of civil disobedience.”
The scene was a peaceful Tea Party Protest, interrupted by a blatant case of assault. Listen to an interview with Tabor here. The video, which could be used in any possible criminal proceedings, has already been taken down at least once by You Tube for a “terms of service” violation.
Yeah, right.
Here’s the punch line: in addition to Spencer, Tabor got charged with simple assault by a magistrate.

As far as both individuals getting charged with simple assault, it's fairly common. The magistrate would have only been presented with what each individual stated happened, and what the responding officer could have reported. Since the officer did not witness it, it's a "he said – he said" situation. The video would not have been entered into evidence yet. I'm sure any jury looking at the video will see what happened.
"Somebody pulls a knife, you pull a gun. They send one of yours to the hospital, you send one of them to the morgue. That's the Chicago way." If the far left doesn't watch out, we'll all be playing by "Chicago rules" soon. And when it happens, the left will be shocked, shocked, that someone reacted violently to an assault. Just wait until the next time SEIU decides to attack another person's house the way they did in Maryland, the one that belonged to that banker. I fear the next time the far left tries any of this stuff, it will not end well. If Obama really did have the best interests of the nation at heart, he would make one of his many speeches and denounce this type of violence, especially when it comes from Union thugs like Andy Stern and SEIU (as in the Maryland incident). Seems like Obama has the time to make speeches on just about everything else, except violence which his minions are responsible for.
Who needs the MSM? Good people can tell right from wrong when someone attacks protesters who are peacefully demonstrating on a sidewalk.
I guess the MSM spin would be that Nathan Tabor used his face to assault Governor Spencer's fist.
These people have no idea how badly they continue using violence to force their socialist plans on the rest of us. They are severely outgunned and although we abhor the thought, if it ever become necessary we are ready and willing to fight!
Typical liberal. Spencer was probably asked a question he couldn't answer. Nothing throws the left in a rage like being questioned. Yet the media will insist that we conservatives are the violent ones. Yeah right!

Someone here at Big Journalism needs to do an investigative report on the Tea Party protests by exclusively focusing on the police. I'm sure if one of you called or actually traveled around the country interviewing the cops who patrol these protests, they will tell you, unequivocally, that the Tea Parties are THE MOST WELL BEHAVED protestors they have ever encountered. Do a compare/contrast study, having the cops recount stories of their experiences with lefty protestors in contrast to the Tea Partiers. SOMEONE GET DOWN ON IT, IF YOU REALLY WANT IT!!

Well, it appears black racism is alive and well in NC with crony magistrates. A Magistrate is not necessarily a lawyer and up until the early 1960's was simply called Justices-of-the-Peace. They could have been the local hick farmer with a 3rd grade education given authority to handle minor civil and criminal cases. I understand it was a white magistrate who after reviewing the video provided by the victim and sheriff gave the order to bring Governor Spencer in and it was a black magistrate who had both of the men involved charged with assault and given a court date.
Governor Spencer is a fascist and needs to go to jail for assault, however, the MSM that is in the pocket of the Democrats, Socialist, and Union thugs refused to report this story.
"The Rise of the New Right" is the most comprehensive look yet (at least on non-public television) at the crack-up the Conservative movement in this country is now going through. Let's face some serious facts here, boys and girls: The right wing in this country has always been (since the days of the Confederacy and before) a tad crazy – not to mention dumber than doggy doo doo. What is happening to them now is beyond anything in their long and entertainingly weird history. In effect they've totally lost it. Here's a quaint little soundbite from last night's program that illustrates perfectly what I'm talking about. The words were uttered by some pathetic woman at last year's "March on Washington":
"We are losing our country. We think the Muslims are moving in and taking over. We do not believe our president is a Christian – and he let us believe that. The president is a liar. God bless Joe Wilson."
Isn't that sweet? We can only assume she was not referring to the same "Joe Wilson" who is married to Valerie Plame, but that's just a hunch on my part.
Once upon a time people this – "ill informed" shall we say? – were to be found mostly on the fringes of the American political scene. Not even in the days of old Joe McCarthy did it get this strange – not on such a national level anyway. Back in the good ol' days, the type of behavior we are witnessing today was pretty much restricted to KKK rallies in the deep south and the editorial offices of the Wall Street Journal. A half a century ago political extremism hadn't yet gone mainstream. It has now. In fact it's ready for prime time! For this we can all thank the nice people at FOX Noise.
