While we’re on the subject of the MSM foisting the idiotic fantasy land in which most of them dwell onto their readers and viewers, take a gander at this clip from the ineffable Ricardo Leon Sánchez de Reinaldo, better known as CNN’s vehicularly challenged anchorman, Rick Sanchez.
It’s all about Rush of course, and Rick wants you to know he’s on the side of the Little Guy in the never-ending Manichean battle between the one percent of the population who pay 40.4 percent of all the income taxes in this country — some of whom don’t even have a college degree! — and the 95 percent, who pay 39.4 percent of the total tax burden.
So watch Rick yuk it up with his guest. And then ask yourself:
Why does this man have a job on CNN?
Up next: ad lib, a tease!

Rick Sanchez, vehicularly challenged?
I'd bet he has a little pecker as well. That is why he is so hateful mand spiteful.
Someone needs to slap the snot out of this little creep.
he certainly has a tiny number of brain cells,I am told that alcohol killed most of the few that he started with
It disgusts me that he can be a CNN-anchor after his drunk hit-and-run.
And going after Rush on debt, taxes, and wealth?
Give me a frakking break! Man up to your own faults, you coward – and stop acting as if you're some liberal hero!

What an idiot!
"Many of whom" not "many of which."
and, they have the nerve to mock, FOX News, for the number of blonde anchorwomen they employ.
Want to hear a dumb Sanchez joke?
Haha…I needed a good laugh this morning with my cuppa.
"Ad lib, a tease." That is hilarious.
Edit: Yeah everything is Rush's fault. Everything including the Big Bang and Sun spot activity!!! Afterall, Rush IS a right-wing God (and the leader of the GOP and a member of the vast right-wing conspiracy). /s
yes rush does not have a college degree, bill gates does not. it also brings me back to the longitude prize. none of the wise people could solve the problem, but a carpenter who made clocks did solve the problem. i also do not have a college degree, i got out of h.s. after 3 years. today i do engineering on automation systems. i regularly deal with "real" engineers, i love it when i show them up time after time. a piece of paper does not mean you have knowledge, how you apply what you have learned means you have knowledge. our current president has a degree, in what i can't tell you, he doesn't seem to anything right, perhaps he was pushed ahead because he can read off a teleprompter, he just needs help with pronouncing some words like corps, it is not corpse.
It would seem those with the least to say would learn to shut up.
yepp, I saw this one live (McDonalds) and they compared federal taxes across 30 most develope countries (no state ,no local taxes,) These other countries hvae health care which we have been reminded adnauseum. What happens when we ad the health care bill to our tax base OOPS
I agree. Check out the people who are self-made millionaires in this country. Most of them don't have college degrees. Some of them don't have HS diplomas. A sizable percentage have little formal education after the fifth grade. Yet they are millionaires and vilified by this country.
The way education is structured makes it very hard for people to make money unless it is in a structured form called business. Indeed, some of our teachers feel that because they have been "educated" they deserve more money than the state can provide and blame millionaires for not giving it up.
Car wreck-tal prolapse.
As a member of the academia, I can attest that Rick as no idea of what he is talking about. Most of my peers do not have any idea of how their theories work out in real life, and they will twist, dismiss, or make up facts to fit into their theories. Just because one presents themselves as an expert, because of the approval of the rest of Academia lemmings approval, can not be trusted because modern academia is just the propaganda machine for Progressive/Socialist ideas. Sad, but too true.
Man, this guy is like a parody of an anchorman.
Sanchez makes Ron Burgundy look like a brain surgeon.
Why does this guy have a job at CNN? Because he hasn't twittered a verbal bouquet to a HAMAS terrorist yet.
Why would any one watch CNN? I stopped years ago. I do not watch any of the liberal lying news.
Is anyone else wondering how a national tv personality isn't making more then 100k a year? When he says those other rich guys i can't help but feel he is either A) being dishonest or B) is the most retarded negotiator ever.
peteee,
you sound just like an……….uh………..AMERICAN!
Self made is self owned
Self made is self assured
Self made is self determining
America's strength has always been folks who REFUSE to buy the label the elitists hand them. And when they make it, elitists whine, "Damn those guys, they're just too DUMB not to know they can't SUCCEED!"
hehehe…..I bet You kept many a baby genius up nights wonderin what hit'em!
Hey! All of you unemployed there is a line for jobs forming down on the corner. Some old poor guy is hiring.
give me a break. Its becoming unbearable.
Rick-Rush has more listeners in 30 minutes than your station does in 30 days. I know you are too dumb to do the math, but a quick calculation means you and your station sucks, and for good reason. You know what those reasons are, so I wont bore you with having to describe what a colossal idiot you truly are.
Affirmative Contamination hire. Same with Christina Ampanour and Roland Martian.
Emample 1a-Phil Jones and Michael Mann-Jones just got "cleared" by his elitist pals at east Anglai of Climategate. Same with penn St absolving Mann. Im sure the millions they get in govt subsidies has nothing to do with it. Sure.
As an unemployed carpenter, maybe I should get re-trained in cardboard box construction techniques.
One good thing-the chairman of Mickey Ds just told the environuts to got f-off over trying to sue Mickey Ds becaus eof the type of toys they put in there Happy Meals. He basically gave them the old Drty Harry Callahan "make my day" answer-we need more of that.
Ummm…..I'm confused.
Was his guest a mute?
Niether does Warren Buffett, Steve Jobs or Paul Allen-all billionaires.
You're right. Who's that guy who runs that kind of successful fruit company? Oh yeah, Steve Jobs.
Dumbama onlky has a "degree" in how to kiss George Soros fat ass.
"Why does this man have a job at CNN?"
Why does CNN let so much of its actual rating generating talent slip through its fingers (Glenn Beck, etc.)?
Careful, a wimp like him may like that.
Because nobody else would hire him?
CNN isn't the only game in town, but they ARE the end of the line.
Remember how well it worked for Paula Zahn, when she left FOX and went to CNN? Now it is Paula who?
He is living proof, that supports the age old adage: "You can't polish a turd".
But CNN keeps trying………….
I guess it is time to come up with a new definition of "Dirty Sanchez." Maybe simply having his picture, especially if Rick has a mug shot, next would do.
Rich Sanchez has no moral authority, 20 years ago leaving a football game dead drunk he hit and paralyzed a pedestrian who five years later died in a nursing home. Anyone short of a malignant media narcissist with that history would be very careful ever criticizing another human being. Ever.
Speaking of not having a college degree, Mark Steyn, the best political pundit in print, has no college degree. So much for the value of fatuous media/ journalism degrees.
also what country would rather need a heart transplant in, or a cancer of any type? if you like the idea of having to wait inline at the post office, wait until obama care. sorry sir, you did not fill out the proper form, we cannot reattach your hands until you fill out the forms. or miss, we cannot stop your wound from bleeding, until our coffee break is over, union rules sorry.
Love it Pete. Let me wager this though. Had you been educated in the last 10 years you would not have the skills necessary to pull off your outstanding accomplishments. Not sure my son (if he actually had any motivation) could have done what you have.
Education from an institution of higher learning forms a base. Nothing else. It's what's in your spirit that makes the difference. If you're willing to bust your hump and learn on the job you'll do better than the lazy graduate.

well, to give you an idea, when i was in grade school, the teacher called my mom to tell her he had taken me in front of the class, and gave me a swat with his wooden paddle, she asked if he had done it, or was going to, she wanted him to take a few extra swings if i wasn't going to listen and learn. try that today in public school. yes i was in public school, and yes it was the first and last time i was swatted in class. teaches today do not even try to control the kids, they just want to hand out condoms, and tell them how bad america is, and if thier daddy earns money, how evil he is.
styen is a cool dude, i love the line during the election campaign, where he describes what jessie said about obama, as offering to do a free medical proceedure. and the one about nadal hassan being the first mass murderer to hold a powerpoint presentation on what he wanted to do, and did it.
Today they subtly destroy their self esteem over time rather than give them one punishment for one infraction. It's insidious. So far my kids have not felt the sting, but I know others who have had their confidence broken over a year's time with a bad teacher. Tenure = free rein to damage kids.
the best Steyn quip ever is when he wrote about Tupac shooting himself in the nuts; something to the effect of 'tupac became onepac.'
However, Steyn is a horrible fill in for Rush, too many times he spends minutes at a time going off on tangents to the point that he forgets what he was talking about, or spends minutes laughing at his own jokes.
CNN, ever fearful of being accused of low journalism standards, decided not to have any at all. After all, if it works for MSNBC…….
In third grade, my son was suicidal because his nutcase teacher had been working him over all year. The last week of school he finally felt safe enough to tell me what was going on. I told the school psychologist, who said she had heard the same thing from other parents, and urged me to take it to the administration. (I did and nothing happened, surprise, surprise) You would have thought from all the great artwork, the science center, the puppet theater, etc., in this woman's classroom that she was the best teacher in the world. And this was in a prestigious "gifted" magnet school. Fortunately the fourth-grade teacher was a hugely healing influence.
By the way, my son has been earning six figures since his early 20s and still hasn't finished a bachelor's degree.
Can there be any wonder why CNN's ratings are in the toilet?
It's going to be kind of interesting when ComCast takes over NBCU (which includes NBC and MSNBC) and the folks who own CNN both evaluate their news divisions. Right now Fox usually takes over half the audience (not counting the nightly news segment as Fox doesn't run one) and their revenue is through the roof (for a news division anyway). ComCast and CNN mgmt are probably thinking that if they get rid of the far left commentators (and hire some even handed ones) and change the news to stop putting a left wing spin on everything they have a very nice shot at grabbing Fox's slightly right of center audience, the center audience and the slightly left of center audience. That could be upwards of 30% of the viewers which is one helluva lot better then they are getting now.
At that point there will be a lot of Sanchez's out driving around looking for work. Keep well up on the sidewalks and your eye's open.
This guy is still on the TV? He must be paying CNN for the exposure.
In short Rick the wetback states you crackers have no right to stop any of his buddies, while they are stealing, robbing, killing or raping your family and how dare you ask for papers yet the illegals who invaded our country have the right to sue you or the states who have the balls in wanting to defend you
A seventh challenge to block enforcement of Arizona's tough new immigration law has been filed.
The lawsuit was filed Friday in federal court and is the first legal objection to training materials designed to teach Arizona police officers how to enforce the new law, set to go into effect July 29.
The lawsuit's filers, including the League of United Latin American Citizens, say that the training materials are "so vague and ill-defined that they will certainty lead to widespread racial profiling and discrimination."
Among the materials is a video that warns officers not to use race or ethnicity when enforcing the new law, but tells them they're allowed to consider whether a person speaks poor English, looks nervous or is traveling in an overcrowded vehicle.
Kev, if you're gonna use the whole "Filthy Sanchez" joke to bust on this clown, go all the way….
For instance: I would personally say something like, "Now gay men can move on to the next sexscapade – the Rick Sanchez…that's hosting a talk show with your head tilted back in a quasi-arrogant sneer, but it's really meant to keep the Rachel Madcow chin omelette from drooling off onto your teleprompter screen."
Ta-da! (chuckling)
Sow the beans, reap the flatus, baby! Consrvativ_KDH is in the haus!
Did Ricky EVER let the Professor answer the question, or did he blather on until the end of the show?
I hope Ricky TWEETS… alot…
Seems to be the only way to get rid of these drivil spouting mo-rons..
"You can't polish a turd".
Esp. when the turd has diarrhea of the mouth…
No…
Just a dashboard "bobble-head"…
I haven't watched CNN since, well, the '90's
If I hadn't seen the Sanchez cartoon with my own eyes,
I'd've not believed it….
And Ricky's degree is, in what, from where?
Where ever he went, they must be so proud……….
I live a block away from this turd and how he can disparage anyone about their wealth is beyond me. He lives in a huge home on a large treed lot with a big swimming pool. Everyone in his family drives a new car or truck. Who the hell is he talking about having money. If this incompetent boob wants to give more to his idiot president then do it! When I see this moron on TV it reminds me of when my kids were in middle school and had to do a TV anchor project. They were actually better than Ricardo.
[...] » CNN’s Very Own Ron Burgundy, Ricardo Leon Sanchez de Reinaldo, Goes After Rush Limbaug… [...]
Clear case of class envy…if that's all, but, given the comment above by "inspectorudy," this sniveling blowhard really hasn't a gripe. He's achieved a level of financial prosperity the vast majority of the world can only dream about having.
I think more people receive a paycheck from Rush Limbaugh than saw this interview live.
A Mess NBC has their eye on this scrappy up-and-comer. He's making a real name for himself… but I shouldn't say that name here.
Sanchez is just one murder behind Ted (The swimmer) Kennedy with his drinking and driving.
Is Sanchez an illegal democrap?
Rush could buy and sell CNN without breaking a sweat. All Sanchez does is sweat.
Of course most of this is jealousy. Sanchez keeps asking himself where he went wrong. But he knows the answer – his parents did not have an abortion.
According to Margaret Sanger, Rick Sanchez should have been aborted. You can look it up.
Many (most?) of the Fox anchor babes have LAW DEGREES, Rick is a mouth breathing bonehead.
I sat through a semester's worth of a Master's seminar in which a handful of Master's students made up, manipulated and mispresented data that wound up supporting nothing. I called them out on it and got blank stares and no answers. It was ridiculous. (poly sci/grad level)
I'm a big supporter of post graduate education – but dang – there needs to be a point to it.
(it twisted me onto the path to law school – and since I sold used cars for years there may be an evolutionary component to it too!)
yup. Liberal and "Hispanic".
I think Sanchez might be a Cuban or Puerto Rican. I'm guessing, and I'm half Mexican. This guy wouldn't be CNN or network level (any network) if his name was Rick Smith. He's a dumbass dolt.
"9 meters? Say it English Doc, in English!" "9 meters? I can't make the conversion in my airhead, so ENGLISH DOC! ENGLISH!!!!"
Ricardo 'Rick' Sanchez showing his ignorance of ther metric system on national TV. Rick Sanchez=EPIC STUPID.
he takes 'stupid' to the sublime…
if I mussed his hair he'd start crying – I guarantee
excuse me. Teddy K. was known as Teddy "Oldsmobile Submarine Commander" Kennedy to his friends and enemies alike.
I guess CNN wants to be in the same class and MSNBC. Sanchez is an Olbermann wannabe. Go ahead CNN and your rating will tank even lower like MSM's.
I couldn't tell who the fellow standing there was? What was his function besides listening,
waiting for Ricky to breath…?
That had to be the longest run-on question of all time…
And Ricky will be crying more and more
as the "Prog Clown Car" keeps blowin out tires..
I hate abortion…But the leftist 20% of the population, should had been vacuumed, no loss..
I think it's a major birth defect like Nazi-ism..
Never seen this clown before, sorry I did. Gave up CNN years ago.
Flat tax & Term limits (Voter imposed) may not be the total fix for America but a good start. Throw in the border fence/wall/mine field and bombing out the lights in Iran and I'd say we have something worth saving!
Come on Nov.
On December 10, 1990, Ricardo (Rick to his white friends) Sanchez struck a pedestrian, Jeffrey Smuzinick, with his car on a residential street near Dolphin Stadium, in Miami.
Smuzinick was paralyzed and eventually died in an assisted living facility on November 2, 1995. Sanchez had just left an NFL football game with his father when the accident occurred. He was not charged with causing the accident, but was charged with and pleaded no contest to Driving Under the Influence.
Mr. Smuzinick did not have a college degree and, therefore, too dumb to recognize a drunk Mexican when he saw (past tense) one careening down the sidewalk.
Don't know this Rick Sanchez feller. Is he that "Dirty Sanchez" all the kids are talkin' about?
When Lou Dobbs was on CNN I liked his show so much I would put CNN on and leave it on all afternoon just so I wouldn't miss Lou Dobbs.
Until they gave Rick Sanchez a show.
He completely overloaded my tolerance levels for blatant and perverse bias, particularly with his constant and pathetic refrain that since he was born in Cuba, he had full and complete knowledge of the excesses of Castro, and therefore had full and absolute moral authority to tell anyone else who mentioned Cuba or communist dictatorships to shut up.
I don't have a college degree.
What's wrong with not having a college degree?
I've never even stepped foot on a college campus, yet I'm smart enough to run my own small business.
I'm smart enough to know that rich people invest their money. And it doesn't matter if you take (taxes) their money or borrow (treasuries) their money, they still don't have the money to invest elsewhere, leaving a shortage of cash in the capital markets. And a shortage of cash in the capital markets means that people and businesses can't raise the capital to build factories, and buy homes.
I'm smart enough to know that drinking and driving could lead to an innocent bystander being killed, if I were to be so negligent.
I can find Hawaii on a world map.
I know a meter is a little more than 39 inches.
Why do liberals think that having a degree makes you smart?
Limbaugh is a racist, junkie who says whatever he thinks will be good enough red meat to the inoculated…..twits1
OH NO! please don't give me a thumbs down! my life depends upon a bunch of idiot's approval
No comment other than you used a comma poorly. It wasn't needed there. Carry on.
right on
o,k. lol, just kidding!
If you look closely, you can see his lips extend all the way to the black guy's ass. But his body language said it all for me. Extended hands pushing away the black professor, the deferential terms of "endearment", the head slightly down with eyes looking hopefully as a puppy does a master. I'm just glad I didn't have to watch hour after hour of CNN to see this little bit of idiocy. The folks that do that for me don't get paid enough, as far as I'm concerned. Thank you.
A few days ago, Fox and Friends had some talking heads on discussing Arizona's immigration law. The dem puppet bascially implied that since Gov. Brewer doesn't have a college degree and was appointed, she is an incompetant. I don't live in Arizona or know how she is a governor, but what the HECK does that have to do with someone's ability to lead.
Uber-dolt.
He has a job because he's from Chicago. The fix is in.
Ricardo Leon Sanchez de Reinaldo. LOLOLOLOL
resorting to insults like 'a bunch of idiot's' screams irony alert. What's the matter, sport? Can't think of any better invective? I would expect more from a petulant 12 year old. Then again, most people on the left have similar childish views on many things like the economy. "LIke, no fair!! He has more than me! That's totally so lame"
Everything this moron just spewed is contrary to Econ 101; if he attended college to earn a degree, it obviously didn't take.
"…many of which don't have a college degree." The left's litmus test for who knows what's what and who doesn't.
Edison, Truman, Lincoln, Washington, Henry Ford, etc., etc. had no college degrees either. I suppose by this bozo's lights, they don't qualify as having enough common sense to understand what is in their best interests.
I have three college degrees and can say from my experience, after being in the real world for enough time to judge, that most of my college professors wouldn't try because they couldn't make it in the real world.
Think: The business professor in Rodney Dangerfield's "Back to School" when you hear the latest nostrum for our economic and social problems trotted out of the fever swamps by the sophomoric term paper writers in this administration.
Up next, ad lib, a sleaze…. now this is where a sleaze ball, i.e. rick "dirty" sanchez, makes inaccurate and incoherent points, based on rhetoric and not facts.
Maybe he missed the fact that BP has endorsed the Democraps cap and tax plan… or that Goldman and other major wall street firms endorsed their regulatory "reform" bill… I bet its because it really hammers those rich guys, right? I mean, Goldman and those other guys definitely endorse bills that would go after those evil rich companies like Goldman… uhhhh, ok, Rick… go take a Driver's Ed course, you scum bag.
I hear he needs to walk around with a steady supply of band-aids for his knuckles… he's constantly dragging them.
Actually Rick Sanchez is Cuban, like me, and like myself Caucasian, too…ever heard of Spain? If you think Sanchez looks "Mexican" I think you've had one too many. Not that I'm defending Rick Sanchez I dispise him.
he's Cuban, I've known of him for years he was a local anchor in Miami, besides he doesn't look remotely like a typical average Mexican…though I know a lot of people automatically think Spanish=Mexico *rolling eyes*
Aw, Mr. Martinez is being racist against his cousin Latino. I hear that is prevalent in Spanish speaking countries.
I've known of Rick Sanchez for over 20 years before he went national. I'm seeing other posters here labeling him Mexican and using racial slurs, first off Sanchez is Cuban, big difference, I'm Cuban American. Besides the cultural/racial differences most Cubans unlike Mexicans and most so-called Hispanics are Conservative Republicans, not all as evidenced by Sanchez, we got bad apples like everyone else, let me point out most Cuban Americans in the South FL area detest him.
Sanchez is a long-time friend and supporter of a now retired local "shock jock" named Neil Rogers. Rogers who is a self-proclaimed homosexual atheist whose leftist politics border on Marxist became famous in the area for insulting the Cubans fleeing communism including using ethnic slurs.
For years Sanchez was the lead reporter at the Miami FOX affiliate WSVN. A few years before Sanchez left to CNN, a new field reporter joined WSVN from Mississippi, his name Shepherd Smith. Maybe two years later Smith was hired by FOX News I believe just after they launched so I'm under the impression there is also a jealousy issue with Sanchez and FOX News/the right.
Do you often say things just for "effect"?
For pointing out that he's Cuban, not Mexican?
yup. stereotyping us "Mez-cans". Otra vez.
Is he as dim in person as he seems on air? He's gaining quite the negative reputation for being a dunce.
Sanchez is Cuban. Meaning, if the Miami variety is any indication, he is arrogant, nasty, looks down his nose at the very ones who pulled his or his family's raft ashore, and is pushy. But at least Sanchez speaks English, rather than taking the attitude that he can live his entire life here and not speak a word of English.
(and before you jump my case, Mr Martinez: I am at least partly of Spanish heritage).
What do you expect from CNN (Communist New Network)?
I doubt Sanchez came on a raft that was more 1990s and after, actually nearly all Cubans speak English but the most recent arrivals that are a minority and the very elderly. Most NON-CUBAN HISPANICS DO NOT SPEAK ENGLISH. From my experience, a lot of Americans and non-Spanish speaking people in South Fl tend to view anyone who is of Spanish speaking persuasion from Miami as "Cuban". Fact is (Google) Cubans are 52% of South FL's so-called Hispanic population. That's almost 50/50 chance those people you're talking about probably weren't Cuban. Not saying there's no bad Cubans, but I notice you're Jewish. I can tell you working the beach for 5+ years I've met me plenty of arrogant, nasty obnoxious Jewish people, though in general I would agree that most people in Miami regardless of their race, ethnicity, nationality, whatever are rude to begin with, it isn't the Cubans only.
This guy makes Ted Baxter from the old Mary Tyler Moore show look like an intellectual giant.
No, no, no. I was refering to the original post. I generally understand my lineage, I wasn't directing any aspersians towards you. It's nothing to get defensive about, please – relax. I'm the half Mexican here, I've seen it all. I live less than two miles from Mexico – Mexico is omni-presnt here on the border. I see Mexicans who look European and I see Mexicans who look like Indios from desert. Down South where my Mom grew up you see Mexicans that look like Aztecs and Mayans – still.
oh, I wasn't sure, since it was under my post:)
