Chris Wallace occasionally gets side-tracked some leftist tendencies, but he really is one of the best interviewers out there. Brit Hume was great and Brett Baier's interview of Obama was classic, but Wallace brings it most Sundays.

I'll get voted down for saying this, but here goes…wasn't Bill O'Reilly playing the video and mentioning her name on the 19th, before she resigned on the 20th? I understand O'Reilly is a pundit and not a formal newsman, but is it accurate for Chris to say "Her name was never mentioned on the Fox News Channel until she resigned"?
As much fun as it was to cheer the TV this morning when I watched this, I'm concerned that Chris Wallace's statement wasn't entirely correct.
Way to Wallace. Huricane Howard Dean was downgrade to a tropical Depression aka a Joke. Dean did not have the facts and Fox only react to the administration firing Shirley Sherrod ! Howard Dean is a proven liar, wacko, idiot, and flamout! His unhinged yeee ha moment is now legendary! Thank god that America was spared this born rich progressive a-hole! Kudos to Wallace!
She resigned on the 19th, shortly before O'Reilly's show hits the airwaves. Her name was not mentioned prior to her resignation – which is the exact point Wallace made. At that time, the entire video had not been made public. Regardless of that fact, a government official resigning because of apparently racist comments is a newsworthy story.
If I'm not mistaken, she resigned between Beck and O'Reilly, whichever show is sandwiched there.

Simply put, there is video of two members of the New Black Panther party at a polling station with the clear intent to intimidate voters. Similarly there is video of the supposed "N-Word" incident on capitol hill (several videos in fact). How is it that people aren't called out on this garbage? Even Ann Coulter on Rick Sanchez's show didn't just stop and say "Hey, there is video proof from multiple sources that it didn't happen, period." They should have played the tape for Dean and asked him, "So if not voter intimidation, what is it sir?"

It is amazing how little shame lefties feel over using unsubstantiated and in this case out right fraudulent charges of racism when to any thinking person the word especially when falsely used is more vicious than the N word. To add more clarification O'Rielly's show was taped before she resigned. On top of that Beck warned not to rush to judgment and even defended her in a fashion wanting to wait until we had the full context. The only ones who rushed to judgment are Vilsack and the Obama admin and they paid for it with what little is left of their credibility.
Howard Kurtz, on Reliable Sources, this morning showed videos of MSNBC and CNN reporting the story before knowing it had been edited. Kudos to Kurtz for being fair to FOX….Something rarely heard of on these stations. In fact, Kurtz I believe, is the only journalist who usually "backs" FOX when an erroneous report plays in the media.

Did people at Fox not READ the context that Breitbart provided when he posted the article and video? I knew her story"s point led to a revelation about the commonality of the poor because that information was in the article. Fox allowed the story to become about Sherrod instead of the racism displayed by the NAACP audience. They have done Breitbart a huge disservice.

The Atlanta Journal Constitution, the newspaper in Atlanta, researched the issue and found the Spooners. Fox has egg on their face and is now ignoring the Spooners because they have completely refuted (NOT "REFUTIATED" BECAUSE I HAVE AN EDUCATION) the Fox and Breitbart lies.

Calling Breitbart a smear merchant is going a bit far. It isn't generally his style to make outlandish claims.
He didnt' make up the Acorn stuff, or the black panther in Philly stuff. Perhaps at least as important as what he didn't make up is what he has reported; things like multiple views of the black dems walking through the crowd on medicare day. If it were true that the Tea Partiers are racists and there was any truth to those claims, any propagandist would have buried the story and not shown multiple camera views of the parade.

When the president fires someone for being a racists it's forgivable for a news organization to report that she was fired for being a racists. And when evidence comes out that she isn't quite as much of a racist as what everyone thought it's the news agency's duty to report that the original video was taken somewhat out of context. All of which Fox did. Just like CNN. They didn't manufacture anything her, they only reported on the matter after the fact.

How could the case be flimsy, when they already had won a default judgement? That's like forfeiting a game you've already won so you don't risk losing. Makes no sense (kind of like you).
I said Breitbart or Fox. Breitbart ran it first, then Fox OF COURSE ran it just like they did the edited Acorn tapes. The administration was smart enough to know that Fox is the outlet for Breitbart's propaganda. It starts on Breitbarts smear site then Fox picks it up. It is as predictable as night and day.
