The Valerie Plame media assault on the Bush Admin and the failure to mention Armitage as the source rather than Libby as opposed to the near shielding of Manning and the other guy is interesting.

When GB was a full ally [i.e. before zero pissed all over them] they would have helped us take ass-anger into custody. We can only hope there is someone in Scotland Yard with such moxie today [!]

back in the day, when Britain was a full ally [before we pissed all over them] they would've helped us get ass-anger into custody. One can only hope someone within Scotland Yard would show such moxie now ...

According to a report to Shep Smith by (in-field reporter) on Fox, Wikileaks claimed they asked the White House VIA the NY TIMES to vet the documents and redact anything that could endanger anyone. I think heads (figuratively speaking) should roll on this one, from any chain-of-command cogs that allowed someone like Manning to access these documents and this information, right up to all personnel in the WH who should've, but didn't, take measures to halt or limit the damage.

While I'd agree that we can't fight a war with leadership that doesn't have the stomach for it, I also believe we should take our commitments seriously. We rightfully earned a reputation for ditching out every time we got a bloody nose. Our enemies knew that they might suffer a 100 to 1 casualty ratio but they could still win. If we achieve victory in Iraq and Afghanistan that will have changed for a generation. I do feel that in the future we should think very carefully about nation building. If it becomes necessary to take out a regime in the future we need a clear and quick exit plan so that we don't get bogged down into a war of attrition. Whoever wins in Afghanistan will be the side that gives up last and it probably won't be us. But if we do prevail in Afghanistan then the terrorists will flee to Somalia. And if we invade Somalia and build a democracy there they will flee to another country. There is no endgame. I'm not saying I have the answer, but it would be a shame to let the sacrifice of all those servicemen and their families go to waste. I just hope we have a better plan next time.

I would not doubt Obama knew well beforehand. It fits right into his modus operandum. Impeachment is the only course and his riotous supporters can pound sand and cry racism till they are blue in the face.

Screw the commie/socialist regime. Invest in lead - it may be more valuable than gold in the future. Our sons & daughters are being killed to defend a population that - thanks to this regime - is being pissed off almost daily thanks to our mooslim in chief, jihadi lover.

Barry - you will rot in hell.

My grandson and four of his friends are Marine recruits[ three of the young men have already left for bootcamp, my grandson leaves next week]. It saddens me that they will serve under this monster. God please protect our military, their lives mean nothing to 'the one'.
