Your Unbiased MSM In Action: The Media vs. Black Conservatives

Wonderful group of great Americans.

MSM – It's not the content of character, it's the color of skin (as long as it's blue).

Kudos to this American group in the video. The NATION is the important issue, to them, rather than "race"—which, of course has become a "game" with this current Administration. These people spoke TRUTH, which the MSM is in no way connected to. This Tea Party Express group reminds me of the blacks I grew up with—coming from strong Christian families, proudly saluting the American flag every morning outside our schools, and LOVING "God, family, and country".

When I saw this I was extremely proud to be an American and ashamed for the MSM.

These outstanding individuals have always been there but have been shut out of the conversation for 50 years and silenced like they were runaway slaves by the MSM and the democrat party.

OMG… That was great, it made my heart proud!!!!! These people are right. They are not African-Americans, Female-Americans, or minorities, they are AMERICANS!!!!!! They are my brothers and sisters in the real sense of the word. Words can not express the pride I feel in these people for confronting a myth that needs to be torn down. Thank you, Thank you, and THANK YOU for being strong Americans willing to stand up to the Progressive/Socialists who hope to divide us into groups to destroy our Republic.

I will say it again, growing up in NYC (and living in several foster homes of different races, and a mother who would whop my head if I thought there was a difference between people based on genetics), I learned there are two races. Assholes and non-Assholes. The people speaking are clearly of my race, non-assholes.

Congressional Reform Act of 2010
1. Term Limits.
12 years only, one of the possible options below..
A. Two Six-year Senate terms
B. Six Two-year House terms
C. One Six-year Senate term and three Two-Year House terms
2. No Tenure / No Pension.
A Congressman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when
they are out of office.
3. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security.
All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security
system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security
system, and Congress participates with the American people.
4. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans
do.
5. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay
will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.
6. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the
same health care system as the American people.
7. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American
people.
8. All contracts with past and present Congressmen are void effective
1/1/11.
The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen.
Congressmen made all these contracts for themselves.
Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers
envisioned citizen legislators, serve your term(s), then go home and back to
work.

Truly courageous individuals here. Far easier to line up on the Democratic plantation to get your "free" goodies. Hats off to them as they are seen as traitors in their community.

All of these people are quality individuals. I especially like Kevin Jackson. Sent him an e-mail once not really expecting an answer, but he wrote back within a few hours and we went back and forth several times discussing issues affecting all Americans.

Due to the current political climate in the country it is very heartening to see people like this stepping up. I dare say that very few if any white reporters will have the cajones to call them racists. Their brethren on the other side of the fence however will continue to villify them as Uncle Toms, house Negroes and various other derogatory terms for not towing the Black Party line.

I would gladly stand shoulder to shoulder with any of these people and be proud to call them brothers and sisters.

Almost perfect, Washington. #3 needs to read: ALL government employees, including members of Congress pay into Social Security. Even a janitor in a V.A. does not pay into SS. They have their own program that Congress can't spend. That's a lot of people NOT paying into the system….and growing by the day.

Whoever that reporter was who tried to take over the press conference should be b*tch-slapped. Her voice just dripped with condescension, and she was spoiling for a fight.

That was a serious take down, but I thought some things could be made clearer (arm chair quarterbacking, they did great). 1) The Shirley Sherrod video was not "doctored" in any way and contained all the context necessary to keep the WH from firing her. 2) Even Cleaver admitted there was no intentional spitting by the man he refused to press charges against, that's a complete non-issue. 3) There is proof aplenty that the n-word was never said, but none that it was said even though the congressmen had an entourage that carried video cameras. Also, the congressmen all had a vested interest in discrediting the protesters — hence the 'perilous' walk through the roiling boiling tea (gimme a break) — but no incident occurred to allow for that. So they said they heard what they had wanted to hear. It's plain as day.

As far as Lewis being a hero, I'll give him his kudos for his bravery back in the day. Which is a heck of a lot more than anyone in the media gave former WWII pilot hero George HW Bush when he was president.

And as for racism. That reporter asking questions in the beginning was one of the most offensively condescending people I've ever heard. She must think black people don't have two brain cells to rub together. That's the only way she could possibly be so nasty about people of color expressing points-of-view that vary from her own. What a hag.

The tea party is the new civil rights movement. We are ready to step over the past and embrace an America where we live by a Constitution that applies to all Americans equally. The people on this video are the true free thinkers of our time. They are willing to move beyond the victim speak that has held a segment of our community down and lay claim to the greatness that sits right in front of us: the U.S.A. Those on the left are fighting a losing game. The lies that have been spewed by the left are starting to dissipate, and we will overcome.

John Lewis is not only a hero, he is also old. Many years ago my octogenarian neighbor and I would discuss life, living, and politics over the back fence. He was an old-time labor Democrat and was usually sharp, but sometimes he would tell me about last night's poker game – a game that had actually occurred 40 years before. I have no doubt that when John Lewis walked out into that hostile crowd on the Capitol grounds he heard racial slurs, but they did not occur at that time in that place. Let us give the old warrior his due, and direct our arrows at more deserving targets.

I was extremely proud of those people and I really enjoyed their smack-down of that arrogant condesending reporter that asked that question. On the other hand, it takes reporters such as she to ask such questions so that smack-downs that she received will continued to be delivered to her/them.

I think conservatives are perhaps spending too much time on the issue. They should simply challenge the liberal media to provide evidence of racism and then talk about the issues that drive them (primarily government expanding to areas where it shouldn't expand and spending tons of money it doesn't have).

The sad fact is that some people are going to believe the worst of others despite all evidence to the contrary. Bush was very vocal about Sudan's massacre of black Muslims in Darfur (moreso than any Arab or African country) and also invested a lot of effort in rationalizing foreign aid (ensuring aid money wasn't being squandered or invested in projects which didn't do the locals any good) but there are still idiots who insist that Bush is racist.

Fair minded people will recognize that tea parties are race neutral, the biased will cling to the lie they want to believe no matter what.
