On my Twitter account, I follow a few hundred mainstream media-types (keep the enemy closer, right?), and unless I've missed it (and I hope I have), not a single one has spoken out in defense of Roland Martin. Not one. How scary is that. The politically correct Groupthink...

To hear Mrs. Palin in person with 700,000 of my fellow patriots from all over the world, it was inspirational. She did not make a political speach, she was a "mother" with a son in the military. Anyone who claims anything else is a liar, and I will defend my comments with vigor.
Palin IS the one WE'VE been waiting for……….
She's come a long way since her VP campaign in 2007.
I pray we will have the collective good sense to embrace her and defend her from the attacks that are sure
to come with dizzying force.
Together we make this happen.
I bet the check-pants blue hair blue blood Republicans are shyte'in their Depends after that speech,
and green with envy.
.
To quote a very famous and loquacious catcher in pinstripes, this is deja vu all over again….
She was my idol when she was the Gov of Alaska and still is. I am a woman and i would give my left arm to look like her and have her brains and boldness to stand up to the merciless critics. She might come off as a homebody with the "you betcha" phrase but beneath it all is a smart, aware person who is playing her cards just right.
Did you hear the applause when she came out to talk? People love her and this wonderful, talented woman is just geting started in this political field but biding her time like an olympic athlete who practices until he gets it right. She will get it right and will come out fighting for us exactly when we need her.
This woman, no, this American, is amazing. She broke my heart when she introduced our soldiers. My Dad, a WWII vet would have loved Sarah Palin. I wish he was still here. From now on the phrase is—Go, Sarah, Go!
God bless America, Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, and Mark Simone (I know that there are more conservatives out there, but I put the top three and I added Mark because every time a conservative takes a day off, Mark is there—and he's smart—and he's funny— and he's true to the heart..
I am so envious, Tuco. I am also grinning from ear to ear. Really appreciated your updates. You have the experiences and memories of a lifetime.
Sarah needs more polish. She has come a long way. I was reading about her when the rumors of her possible selection for the '08 ticket started to surface (hat tip to IBD) and I liked her right away. I was on my way to Home Depot when she was introduced as the VP selection and ended up sitting in my car until she finished. She lacks Reagan's depth, but has the same "common" sense (if only it were so common…).
The attacks will come from all over the "Establishment". The "check pants blue hair blue bloods" will be no exception. They will attack indirectly, and will also attempt to reinforce the doubts many people have about her "pedigree". She didn't attend one of the "we run the world" universities, and that will be a key (if only quietly mumbled) part of the narrative.
She ain't no Mitt Romney -but that's kinda the point…
She IS another Reagan, difference is he had years to hone his positions and speaking ability.
We can't wait ten years for her to mature into her best, we need an outsider, a fighter right now.
I just pray that she can lay all the groundwork she needs in such a short time.
Until recently I was saying she can't do this, the mountain is too steep, the climb too difficult. I thought
someone else would emerge. There is no one else, we were awakened to that fact during the oCare
debacle. All the others seem to be cowards and wimps, they have no courage, no ideas. It is so sad.
They have created such an enormous disaster yet they have no stomach to tackle the clean-up.
Are they so afraid of the mess they have created they don't want to be elected? Whomever tackles this
debacle the Progressives on both sides of the aisle have foisted upon us will not be able to successfully
repair our problems in two terms. We need a serious hard-working VP candidate to follow up. How
will we force the Congress to work with Palin? Calling and e-mailing haven't shown much promise.
Hard choices must be made, choices that will have a serious impact on folks lives. The person mak-
ing those decisions may come to be reviled by large segments of society. A whole slew of Americans
will need to be told to put their big girl panties on. There are many who aren't going to like it, they would
rather keep wearing their diaper.
I thought I would never see a woman POTUS in my lifetime. But then I never contemplated the USA
would need such an enormous housecleaning. Well copper we know when there's housecleaning
to do, some do the work and some just get in the way, bless their hearts. It's probably the only reason
a woman will ever get into the White House.
Question is, if we get it clean, do we ever let them back in?;- D
.
I guess I was replying to copper when you were replying to me, strangely enough, we expressed some of the same thoughts.
What is it with you guys, why do you remember where you were when you heard stuff?;-D What is the pur-
pose of that mechanism in your brains? Oh well I probably don't want to know…
"She lacks Reagan's depth,…." True but she's much younger…. She lacks confidence, IMO she is faking
'it' much of the time. Pretending to be self assured does not always play out well. I wish she had ten more
years. Do you think she has time to lay the groundwork within the party to have true support, or will they stand back and cross their arms with the attitude,,, do you think you wanna be POTUS little lady, well we'll
see,,,,,show us what you got?
Do you think McCain was running a counterinsurgency against her during the 08 campaign? It often seemed that might be the case to me. What do I know, I'm just a country bumpkin? I've seen that snot-boy Bill Kristol turn up his nose when her name came up more than once. Recently he's come out saying he thinks she's great, but I detect a nervousness when he speaks of her. I think it's more a body language thing I pick up than anything else. He fidgets and tosses his head, not an attractive mannerism for a man to exhibit, IMO.
I wish Mitt hadn't shot himself in the foot with Mass Care, I had high hopes for him. He looks presidential and It's obvious he has some horse-sense. If he had only stayed in Michigan he may have had a chance to be elected, but there are problems with that too….
I only wonder if 'we the people' will have the mojo with the Repb Party to back the vultures off so Palin can
have a chance. With our financial predicament I would think the old guard would be afraid to sabotage
her but…….
.
Sarah Palin has common since and above that she has courage to say and do the right thing. The depth issue is not a real issue. That will come. She is also a manager.
On her worst day. Palin is a better man than Obama has ever dreamed to be. I'm sure Palin doesn't stack up to perfect. No one does. It is the love of country along with its people that does and will always separate her from the vile disgusting thing temporarily residing in the WH. What we have here is the elite vs. the competent.
As a Muslim this pressure from a woman has to drive his hatred of her and this country. As a Muslim she is breeding stock and should not be allowed to partake in this countries politics or anything else for the matter.
rovers agree,,,,,,,and perhaps we should begin to refer to o as the 'temp'??? Whadathink?;- )
That is my handle for the week for him,,,,,'the temp'
One of the Alinsky rules advises to ridicule ones opponent,,,,, I'm jest say'innnn!
.
I love Hillary, she's what's great about America .
"…strangely enough, we expressed some of the same thoughts."
Not really. We aren't Leftards, we have some education and real life experience under our belts and since you agreed with me, clearly you are very smart and insightful…
;^)
Ha Ha Ha ……..I asked for that one, didn't I?;-D ZZzzzzziiiiinnngggg!
"…..clearly smart and insightful…"
Those Boehner attack dawgs on Kudlow's piece would disagree.
They are after my hyde, absolutely no skepticism of the Min, Ldr will be tolerated!
I've tangled with the freedom ?gal? before, oddly enough on another Boehner
article. Hummm wonder how that happened? That time she/he suckered me
with the wounded act and I apologized and even deleted some replies…….
no, no, no, no, no, no, no as rev wright would say………
He, he, he, like an elephant,,,,,I never forget!
IMO they work for the Repb old guard……don't have time to fool with them today,
though, "dag-nab-it"! …; Gabby Hays/ Gene Autry's sidekick.
.
Sara is great, but not for Potus.
Heh-heh. You were so polite, how could I resist?
Not ringin' a bell on the "freedom" chickie, but I'll keep an eye out. Know what ya mean about apologizin', some people are just lookin ta sucker you sometimes… Not mentioning any names…
Off and runnin'…
