Two years ago many Democrats (especially those on the far left) believed that conservatism (as opposed to the Republicans in and running for electoral office) had been rejected by voters and that to become an electoral force once again, the Republican party would have to spend years in the wildnerness, only reemerging when they shifted to the left.

I have no problem with abortion in the case of incest or rape. Just because one person has made it her point of contention does not make it all of ours.

So what if Beck felt he needed to tell everyone to get behind God. Was he talking to you? No. He was talking to the 500,000 people in attendance along with the 350,000 watching on TV and the Internet that day where fellowship and love was celebrated by people of all colors and faiths. The last time because I dared upload a chart from the House Ways and Means Committee showing the stimulus was not working in 47 out of the 50 states.
