So anyone with a pulse saw the Austin plane crash for what it was–an ugly event caused by a bitter weirdo. And nearly everyone was thankful it didn’t turn out worse.
But I guess Washington Post contributor, Jonathan Capehart, is pulse-less. After reading Joseph Stack’s suicide note, J.C. wrote, “I am struck by how his alienation is similar to that we’re hearing from the extreme elements of the Tea Party movement.”

Well, for me – I’m struck by how boringly predictable a respected journalist like Capehart can be.
I use “respected journalist” just for fun. Capehart is a tool.
I mean, seriously dude, you couldn’t have resisted, for a moment at least – that urge to… go there?
Look, I know you hate those damn teabaggers, but linking them to this horrible crime seems like a parody of jackasses like yourself. Maybe that was your goal: your comments were just an elegant satire on left-wingers! In that case, bravo.
For as most of us know: during those massive tea party protests, there were no acts of violence. As I’ve said before, people were throwing picnics, not Molotov cocktails. The same could not be said for the more romanticized WTO protestors, or the dopes in Copenhagen, who capture the imagination of tools like Capehart, because they don’t shop at Walmart.
But as the great website HotAir pointed out, in order for Capehart to link Stack to the tea parties, he had to deliberately omit key parts of the suicide note. You know, the stuff where Stack bashes Republicans, Bush, our current state of health care (which he says kills thousands), and of course, capitalism.
So why did Capehart do that? Well to get Stack’s story to fit the assumptions that only J.C. and his friends share, he had to lie. For that, he approximates a necrophiliac, manipulating corpses for his own delight.
And if you disagree with me, you’re probably a necrophiliac too (and racist).
Tonight, we’ve got Chris Cotter, Imogen Lloyd Webber, Tom Shillue, and my mom! Also a very special Joshua McCarroll segment!

Capehart graces MSNBC(I think) regularly, and says everything he can to get a dog biscuit from the
flaming liberal anchor of whatever hour he appears. He is as much a lefty-tool as Eugene Robinson, but
without ANY journalistic "awards" to his credit……..except, maybe a "Jason Blair merit badge."
Hate, Violence, Distrust, Racism, Moral Superiority Complex, and basic douchebaggery are all attributes the left exemplifies, yet projects those faults onto us. Hey Left, when you point a finger at us, you're pointing three back at yourself. SUCK ON THAT.
Keep thm on the run Greg!

God damn the truth! Full revolutionar stupidity ahead! Savage, I think, didn't quite get it right. Illiberalism/Regressivism/Secular-statism aren't a mental illness but they sure lead to mental illness.
The lefties are drowning in their own juices. So they'll hang on to anything that floats by.
I can empathize with this guys frustration over the IRS. I've had my headaches with them and I can say without hesitation many at the IRS are cold hearted bastards. Granted they can only do what they're allowed to do. For this reason the kamikaze guy picked the wrong target, he should have flown into congress or the White House
Greg, it’s the liberal narrative. The good news the liberal newspapers will soon be gone.

They are going extinct and they are not going gently.
Oh yeah… Another Gut-Buster!
Bravo!
This nutcase is clearly a leftwingnut progressive. He wanted MORE government to help him. To him, Big Mommy Government was not growing fast enough.
He was most likely despondent about AirAmerica going dark, and the general demise of the democrat movement.
He was flying from the LEFT seat in the plane. He was mimicking the Islamoterrorists from 9/11.
Obviously a leftwing progressive extremist. He hated Bush.
Mind you, I know nothing about this man or the incident; I am just following what our leader did in the Boston police incident. I am just reading my stereo teleprompters.
The real loonies are on the left for sure, all we have to do is read the WaPo of the Huffing-paint Post to find them!
I find your slur against tools offensive! Capeheart is a ridiculous liberal jackass.
His linkage of Stack with the tea parties deserves a Nobel Peace Prize.
I understand your frustration–I feel it too–but that was probably not the best choice of words. We should not be even a little ambiguous in our condemnation of this whack job. For one thing, being frustrated doesn't entitle anyone to take their revenge by killing IRS officials; for another, left-wingers are just looking for any examples of those in our ranks justifying his actions, so it's poor tactical judgment, too.
Yeah, of course this guy was associated with the Tea Party, as evidenced by the fact that he condemned Congress for failing to pass health care reform and ended his screed with a line from the Communist Manifesto. Riiigghhtttt……
[...] via » Daily Gut: People Died, WaPo Lied – Big Journalism. [...]
I understood my comment was in bad taste when I posted it but we are at a point in American history when the greatest threat we face is our own government run lock stock and barrel by democrats. I do not condone killing random IRS employees and said in my previous post that he picked the incorrect target. I believe completely and as far as I'm concerned it's incontrovertible that many democrats in DC are traitors that should be publicly executed. I would also add the editors of the NYTimes, that ran a piece detailing the unprotected spots in our soldiers body armor, to the "should be publicly executed" list. And let's not forget open border politicians.
These last two lines from his "Harvard PoliSci Thesis" say all that needs to be said….Praising CommiTotalitarianism and ripping Capitalists…. What's to be confused about?
The communist creed: From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.
The capitalist creed: From each according to his gullibility, to each according to his greed."

"The capitalist creed: From each according to his gullibility, to each according to his greed."
Joe Stack (1956-2010) 02/18/2010 "
That reads more like the liberal creed to me.
According to the New York Social Diary website here:
http://www.newyorksocialdiary.com/node/253
Jonathan Capehart is, "Dapper, dashing, friendly but with an agreeable air of authority, he is perhaps one of the most important young men, as well as political characters in the city, and possibly the country today." Also, "Jonathan is the dream-come-true example of the brilliant potential of a college Political Science major, which is probably a tribute also to his personal understated charm as much as to his trenchant intellect."
No mention of necrophilia at all! So, Mr. Gutfeld, he's a dapper, dashing, friendly tool….with a trenchant intellect. And, understated charm. I once bought a bottle of red wine because it was described as having exactly those same qualities. I couldnt tell for sure. Insouciant, with an exuberantly voluptuous hint of less than top quality grape, was the best I could taste.
I'll have another glass of the "Red Eye".
It does not surprise me that a leftie c-sucker claims that this terrorist is a freedom loving, government protesting right-winger. What surprises me is that the right-wingers shy away from using the recent two mass murders/attempted murders by left-wing activists (Stack’s attack on IRS and Bishop’s attack on her co-workers) as an argument that leftism is dangerous. Lets fight back, for God’s sake!
P.S. visit my blog: hyphenatedamericans.blogspot.com
The guy had some good points. I can understand his frustration. The guy also made some crazy, wacked out statements. Can we stop trying to pin this down as ideologically motivated. Everybody is trying to spin this when in reality we had a guy angry at everybody, possibly justifiably so. Let's check them off: big business, big government, the wealthy, companies, politicians, the IRS, etc. No one ideological group gets to claim the credit, or the blame, for this event. Things suck right now for some people, plain and simple. Should it excuse him? No.
More like HE didn't expect US to read it, so he thinks he can make it say whatever he wants it to say.
That, or there is the possibility that Capehart is even farther to the left than Psycho McLefty (but lacking in suicidal tendencies, as he can't be part of the elite ruling class when he's dead), and thus literally does think the nut was from the right.
I agree- with one exception: he was not within our ranks.
"Jonathan is the dream-come-true example of the brilliant potential of a college Political Science major…"
Wow!
Great use of that wonder-word: "potential". A synonym for someone who fails dismally. What use is a "Political Science major" in the real world?
Did he write his own NYSD entry?
Yeah, read the whole thing. I was struck by what a lefty dork Stark was too. He whines that he only makes 1/3 of what he earned in CA, and ignores the fact that the cost of living in Austin is 1/4 of that rate. Then blames all his problems on “The Man”. Yet he’s got a $238,000 house in Austin and his very own Piper Cherokee! If I was that broke I’d sell the goddamn airplane and retire!
I hate to speak ill of the dead, but this guy was a Class A fruitcake. I’m disagreeably surprised that he was able to get a pilot license, and more so that he was able to pass the medical exam.

If this guy is part of the TPM, who let him in?
What are the requirements to be part of the movement?
Is there a sign in sheet or application?
Who does the vetting?
How come I haven't seen anyone checking ID's at rallies or marches?
I guess I didn't realize it was such an exclusive organization. Whoever is in charge of this thing, I wanna know, and now! Your in heap big trouble.
Just how does anybody get linked to the TPM without being an organizer of some sort? Maybe if we started posing these types of questions, we would have less problems from the MSM…
And of course they omit the very same things that Capehart did-all while publishing the content of deleted internet pages….it's really bad.
Just wait — they will also try to link Amy Bishop to the Tea Partiers even though she was an Obama-worshipper — they'll do it by juxtaposition and insinuation rather than directly. They can't help themselves, because they're incapable of moral nuance, it makes them too nevous — all good things must go together and all evil things must go together.
I agree. Tools have a great part in our society today. Look at Snap-On, Matco, Mac, Cornwell, etc. Calling lefties Tools makes inanimate objects that increase our productivity look bad.
/sarc off
So I am confused here. Some of you seemed outraged at how a "left-winger" had associated Stack with a more "right" oriented group, The Tea Party, and thus contributed to a negative stereotype of conservatives. So in response the commentators on this blog have lumped the aforementioned "left-winger" in with anyone who is "progressive" or "liberal" to help perpetuate a negative stereotype of liberals. This seems a little hypocritical; attempting to associate one group or judge them based on one individual (nut job or not). Then some take it further by trying to tie Stack in with liberals to further the cycle.
Both political ideologies have their strong points and weak points. Its by their coexistence that we achieve a more democratic nation, something this country was founded upon. How about instead of breeding hate and prejudice against one another, we try to seek out the merits in each others' arguments. Let's show a little more respect for an individual's right to an opinion (doesn't mean you have to agree with it or even like it), and try to avoid becoming like the politicians on capitol hill who are too consumed with bickering across the aisle to get any significant work completed. Let's be better than them on that point.
As for those who were merely ranting, I can understand that desire to do so, but perhaps you may want to reread your posts before submitting them and evaluate what your comments are really going to achieve. Are they going to add to the hate, or are they going to contribute to some sort of good?
Oh, and in response to the matter of Stack, I think that Brian Wilson put it quite well.
One week – 2 well educated Left terrorists. Your right Greg, says a mouthful about these "tools" and what they are defending.
If Stack was a "weirdo" then most here are "weirdos."
No, I said they're looking for people within our ranks who would justify this sort of thing, not that he himself was a member. Misunderstanding, I guess.
Again, I fully understand the disgust, and I frequently would like to shoot a few people myself, politicians or otherwise (maybe I should see a therapist for this). But I hope no one really wants to see a plane flown into a government building and public servants killed. Also, I think to publicly execute the Democratic politicians and the New York Times politicians, you'd have to make charges of treason stick first. And while talking about unprotected spots in body armor is reckless and short-sighted in the highest degree, I'm not sure it proves treason.
From the comments on Capeheart's column: "[Stack] was a flying Amy Bishop. "
Bingo! And enter the use of a poli-sci degree: the ability to write glowing rhetorical flourishes full of BS, especially as applied to yourself and your own accomplishments. They excerpted it from his resume~!
Branding a large "L" on their left cheek ( possibly both left cheeks) , would be good.
Seems to me that the manifesto shows the same thing as his actions. The poor man was a tortured, delusional, depressed, crazy person who thought he found some way to give his suicide MEANING, but since he apparently found some meaning in that tortuous, incomprehensible babble, we might validly question his definition of terms.
Capehart and others like him, practice jaundiced journalism, with the usual stench of toilet quality results. The truth of the matter is that they deliberately misrepresent the truth. Their littany of lies and constant disinformation are the propagandistic tools of an intense hate America agenda. Their relentless propaganda paint a false picture of our great nation, and can only serve to tear it down.
They abuse Freedom of the Press at their own peril when they are using it to destroy our nation.
Now apologize to jackasses… you specist, you!
"I mean, seriously dude, you couldn’t have resisted, for a moment at least – that urge to… go there?"
whe conservatives will understand that leftists only care their propaganda
Even Joseph Goebbels would have trouble turning leftwing nut Joe Stack into a Tea Partier. But the well paid whores of the
MSM like the WAPO's Capeheart will do their best trying to turn lemons into lemonade. Joe Stack lived like a leftist, talked like a leftist, acted like a leftist, ranted like a leftist and died like a leftist.
Stack's anti-government rants resemble the angry jottings of fellow Marxists Lee Harvey Oswald and the Reverend Jim Jones.
Joe Stack's tax views may have been inspired by fellow leftwing tax protester Al Sharpton who said in 1988: ."There is no reason why blacks should pay taxes If we do not have a justice system that protects us, what are we paying for?” Sharpton was convicted of one count of Federal Tax evasion. Joe Stack seemed t have the same level of concern about how his taxes were spent and made a statement in much the same way Sharpton did. Sharpton incited others to do his dirty work while Stack did it himself.
The lefties control most of the media and are responsible for its deceitful content. Liberals are quick to blame Conservatives for everything and anything, and I think they've even tried to describe the Amy Bishop incident to Tea Partier's frustrations, much like the WaPo article.
In general, since becoming a Conservative in the last 8 years, I have noticed that more times than not I can have an intelligent conversation with a Conservative, even when I disagree with them (mostly on social issues). Can't say the same for the liberals.
I'm done playing nice and many Conservatives and Independents and even Moderates are done playing nice. Have you seen the way the Left has been pounded the Tea Party movement, Sarah Palin, etc.? Would you call that "nice"? I wouldn't. And as far as I'm concerned, we have reached out a hand way too often and keep pulling back stump after stump. Well the open hand will be come a fist in November 2010 and November 2012 – out the idiots will go. I'm ready to play nice when they are. If not, the gloves are off.
Yeah, he conveniently left that part out. Just goes to show you that a person need to pay attention to the big picture. What he wrote ought be considered slander.

He'd cry 1st Amendment.. But we'd say

bravo bravo, so predictable it is sad, those tears sooth my rugged flesh, thrashing off the waves of leftist hatred.
The Left started it, Mom!!!
Bill Clinton blames Rush for Oklahoma City
50 more incidents since blamed on Conservatives, always unjustified
Now dishonest Johnathon Capehart makes this JoeSmoe in Austin to be a TeaPartyer…Again, WRONG…
Maybe he was a "Brown-bagger". . .
All kidding aside. . .the media is peddling Alinsky style hatred.
Sorry cant respect anyone who would associate even vaguely the Austin incident and a teaparty. Sick leftist freaks, Can we bring back the scarlet letter.
Hahahahaha. Well said, TBinSTL.
I hereby offer a most heartfelt apology to jackasses. They serve a productive purpose in our world unlike the dapper fabulist Mr Capeheart and the urine-stained rag that employs him.
Has that hack even acknowledged his glaring omission?
Capehart is a fricking HACK! No integrity, no brains! Just another slimy Liberal Puke.
Depressingly but happily predictable response from the MSM. Why happily predictable ? Ten to 15 years ago, before the advent of Rush,Fox,Breitbart et alles and the internet, any vague misgivings people sensed from the leftist party line news from the 3 nets and the major dailies would have remained just that, unarticulated misgivings. The paradigm has indeed shifted. We know what they are goung to say before they say it,we all can articulate through forums such as this and we have stalwarts such as Breitbart,Hannity,Rush,Beck, the foxes on Fox and even the occasional politician such as Cheny or Brown who deliver it with a punch . O'Reilly's absence intentional. He has become a shill to curry favor in his so called balance. This is a great country indeed. Kudos also to Breitbart for his comments on Maddow.
I know, we'll call him a……
Teabagee!
Picture necrophilia-inspired marionettes dancing spasmodically to the following non-necrophilic haiku:
a rash on my brain
eludes attempts to scratch it
straight jacket to blame
This is the narrative, the tack, the party line , the strategy, the formula. It's gonna fail but that won't STOP dishonest Obama shills from banging that drum.
You didn't expect this "journalist" to READ the Austin Flyer's screed and derive what the rest of did, did we?
That clod was all ovcer the place and most properly seemed like a typical Austin leftist – whiming about how cruel the world is -uh with HIS OWN AIRPLANE and a $250,000 home in a nice part of Austin. Oh the horrors. Pig, Murderer.
"And while talking about unprotected spots in body armor is reckless and short-sighted in the highest degree, I'm not sure it proves treason." I would have thought aiding and abetting the enemy IS treasonous?

Man, what a slick trick. The left have used it over and over – immediately associating killers with the right, ignoring or even hiding evidence to do so.
Every incident I can think of, though, has turned out to be rabidly leftwing.
It is a sure bet that when something like this happens, the MSM will blame it on the right, the perpetrator will turn out to be leftist, and the story will quietly disappear as soon as the facts come out.

Journalism is a really easy major, so it's no surprise that American newspapers, staffed with these numbskulls, publish drivel like Capehart's musings.
The hate (see: FEAR) for the Teaparty grassroot movement is pretty large. I am not suprised that a "journalist" would outright lie to make this lunatic be associated to the Teaparty, when it was clearly obvious the guy was a near anarchist leftist. I had a debate recently with another person who thought the Teapart people were "violent" and maybe the beginnings of a new pseudo-Nazi movement. Yes – we broke into Godwin's Law now. Thoroughly disgusting where the left will take things out of their fear of the people organizing conservative values.
washington post needs to be fumigated.
Biden and Obama just told us they cant account for $75BILLION of Stimulus Money.
Where's the Post on THAT?
A doctor recently said he had conversations with obama in college and obama was a committed marxist but that obama has never said that he (obama) has changed his views on marxism-leninism.
Where's the Post on THAT?
Obama still paying off lawyers to keep his records sealed.
Where's the Post on THAT?
the suicide note seems contrived to me.
if he's going to complain about higher taxes, isnt that Obama's?
i wish this man's family well but his last act was his worst performance.
how do yu justify attempting to kill innocent people because you're upset?
and if he was revising this suide letter so many times how come he didnt have the presence of mind to get help?
this man knew about 911 and the anguish this nation and families in particular went thru so how does a decent person do something like this knowing that? in the end he was simply a spoil brat who couldnt even face up to an audit.
his actions had the possibility of maiming and killing people who had nothing to do with his situation but it meant nothing to him? he had plenty of time to think as he was purchasing fuel, driving to his plane, preparing his plane but it meant nothing to him. he was a stupid man. even Satan might reject him
a worthy piece, Greg Gutfeld.
thanks for taking the time and putting it out there.
so much of our media as WashPost are now completely unreliable.
they are one-sided for whatever and however they might help(?) obama.
if anyone had told me the United States' meida would have come to this i'd have laughed and call them crazy.
“I am struck by how his alienation is similar to that we’re hearing from the extreme elements of the Tea Party movement.”
I am struck by how a contemptible left-wing dipwad with a total lack of integrity can nevertheless be a contributor to the Washington Post.
I guess there are appropriate ecological niches for all sorts of vile creatures, including lampreys, tapeworms, and "progressive journalists."
This guy is another example of someone who's not all that thrilled that Barry hasn't destroyed the country fast enough. I read through his 'rant' on TSG and this guy had a very twisted view of what it means to be an American. It appears he tried and failed several times to become an enterpreneur and it didn't quite work out for him so he does what every liberal does to get attention….only this time instead of holding his breath and stomping his feet, he got in an airplane and crashed it into an occupied building. Nobody in the mainstream media isn't picking up on the fact that this guy was a dyed in the wool 'progressive' and was pissed that he wasn't getting more of a government hand out and he was also pissed that, yes, he had to pay his taxes on any income just like everyone else.
This is a pretty tough crowd! However, they are correctomundo…..
I think on the forehead would be better.
"Both political ideologies have their strong points and weak points. Its by their coexistence that we achieve a more democratic nation, something this country was founded upon."
Just have to point out that we are a Constitutional Republic, not a democracy. Look it up and learn the difference.
Anyone explain what this company was thinking?
http://twitpic.com/146xhh
……and the lame street media would care about what? the truth….NOT! The innocent in the building are no different from any other member of society, they have families, hopes, ambitions and dreams. Those who work for the IRS are under far more scrutiny than anyother federal agency, save maybe the CIA. If an employee of the IRS fails to pay their income tax, they cannot blame it on TORBOTAX and get a pass like the current Treasury Secretary did, they will lose their job and in all likleyhood be put in federal prison. This nut job, and that is what he is posted his screed for all to read, that this reporter edited to fit his bent is but one more nail in the lame street media coffin.
JC is just another of the revisionists to help keep the progressive narrative alive. Joseph Goebbels would be proud.
The guy was mad…it started in the 80's and didn't stop until he flew his plane into the IRS building last week. He was mad at the entire system and did a crazy thing that no sane person would do…
I knew someone out there would think that since he railed against the tax code he must have been a Tea Partier gone mad. I was just waiting to see who would be the first Tool to do it. Go figure, Washington Post stepped up to the plate and offered a heaping helping of predictability.
Yeah. A big scarlet "A" – for a**hole!
This is just one more example of how scared the raging pack of lefties really is of the Tea Party Movement.
If the Tea Partiers were just a lunatic fringe movement, the usual suspects wouldn't go so far out of their way to trash them.
It's fun to watch them sweat and even more fun to watch them write into the permanent record stupidities that will haunt them in later life when they want their bodies of work to be taken seriously historically. Their "first drafts of history" will show them to be almost completely devoid of objectivity and journalistic standards.
So much for their places of honor in the Journalism Hall of Fame, wherever that may be – Oslo perhaps?
Would prefer it be right between the eyes
It is to anyone with a lick of common sense, but I don't think it could be conclusively proven in a court of law, a realm known for being devoid of common sense. I'd like to see them all get punched in the face myself, but if you can't convict them, you can't execute them–and in my mind this is a rather moot point anyway, because when was the last time we executed anyone for treason anyway? The Rosenbergs? Even if there was a conviction, the ACLU would have them protected with appeals from now til Doomsday.
I majored in Political Science and I can state categorically that it has absolutely no employment value in the real world. I have never once opened up a classfieds and located a "Wanted: Political Scientist" ad.
'Teabagger' is offensive. Anyone who permits its use without excoriation of the writer/speaker is tacitly approving its use.
I am greatly disappointed that this 'little joke' started by Cooper and promoted by leaders on the left is being permitted to proliferate with very little regard for the consequences by conservatives in general.
I did not read all the comments here, but simply scan any article mentioning 'teabagger' where it has been used to describe anti-big-government lobby and you can see there's little outrage.
You people need to come to grips and stop 'accepting' the use of the term and go on the offensive. What you're missing here is that their use of the term is indefensible and puts them on the defense.
Don't permit its use. Attack the writer/speaker and don't accede to its use by conservative writers. Set them straight.
A PolySci degree and five bucks will get you a latte in any Starbucks in the country.

Violence, as Greg mentioned, is the modus operandi of the left, whether the nuts at the G8 Summit, union thugs, or environmentalist wackos. Freedom loving Americans will use the methods given us by our founders, and this November we will exercise our true power and force at the ballot box.
Let's get rid of every last one of them and start over.

“You know, the stuff where Stack bashes Republicans, Bush, our current state of health care (which he says kills thousands), and of course, capitalism.”
Great article Greg. I would only add that he hates Catholics aka Christians. Perhaps I was more focused because he actually spelled out Catholic of which I am one. We give more to charity than any other religion or organization in the world – check it out. He probably thought we should actually sell the 2,000 y/o artifacts of history and give some of the proceeds to him. The lefties are all over the net talking about how rich we are…we’re rich insofar as historical documents and artifacts go but that’s it. Why didn’t he attack the Queen of England, oil Sheiks, Chavez, Castro, Soros, Lewis et al…because the Catholic Church is where they always take their vitriol because noone cares about bias. This man was anti-everything conservatives stand for…a total uber-leftist bigot. Sorry he’s dead but that doesn’t change the truth.
bring back tar and feathers.
no. he usually is on big Hollywood. the unicorn escaped.
Right on Gutfeld! You nailed it!
Well at least Cooper knows first-hand what the expression means!
I agree with you though. I was recently in a situation where a "progressive" was ranting about "teabaggers" in a very mixed workplace environment. It was awkward to say the least. Awkward and inappropriate. It's a term that should only be used when you know your audience (probably why GG used it because he knows most of us won't mind).
I also agree with the term not being accepted. The last thing we need is one more vulgar term being mainstreamed.
If I was listing the specific governmental system of the United States you would be justified in your correction of me. But I was listing a more general term for the ideology that the nation was built upon. I would challenge you to look up democracy and its multiple definitions and applications. Your mistake could be likened to that of confusing the use of the word state, as in a member of the Union (ie California or Virginia), with the word state, as in the governmental entity. Again, one word can have multiple definitions and applications.
The same could easily be said about a number of conservatives. The likening of Obama to Hitler, the misinformation that has been put out by a number of conservative pundits, and even the fear mongering created with such terms as "death panels" keeps one from being able to claim that the conservatives are nothing more than persecuted innocents.
Both sides have members that are guilty of misinformation. Both sides have media outlets that like to work in a skewed narrative or blur the lines between an opinion show and so called news. And both sides have taken excessive and often times despicable pot shots at leading members of various parties. My point is this though, since when has it ever been a mature and fair argument to claim "since they did evil first, that justifies my evil"?
Can't we try acting more like intelligent adults than some of these pundits and politicians who get into shouting matches on television? Why do we have to stoop down to such a petty level?
