Martha Coakley is caught making false statements on financial disclosure form, does not report $262,000 in assets.
Now this is a story that only Charles Rangel could love. One of Coakley’s selling points among the plutocratic liberals of the greater Boston area is that she’s honest, since unlike a lot of other politicians, she doesn’t seem to have enriched herself unduly while “serving” at the public trough. As proof, she’s offered her financial-disclosure statements.

Coakley admits to federal filing error
Attorney General Martha Coakley, the state’s top lawyer, acknowledged yesterday that she improperly filled out a federal financial disclosure she submitted to the US Senate as part of her candidacy in the special election.
The Globe reported yesterday that Coakley was the only candidate, in disclosures due to the Senate by this week, to report that neither she nor her spouse had any reportable financial asset worth more than $1,000.
But her campaign said Coakley failed to list $200,000 to $250,000 in financial assets that are held by her husband, Thomas F. O’Connor Jr. The campaign said Coakley also failed to note a retirement account she holds that is worth $12,000.
It was…… a somewhat embarrassing omission for a perceived front-runner who oversees the state’s legal affairs.
Naturally, a campaign spokeswoman dismissed the whole thing as “mistake” – Democrat-speak for “you got me!” – and promised to file amended returns “as quickly as possible” – Democrat-speak for “any time between Hell Freezes Over and Never.”
Are you getting the sense that Attorney General Coakley is not all that well-versed in the laws of her own state or those of the federal government?

It’s mind boggling to me that Massachusetts was once the land of John and Sam Adam’s, Paul Revere, etc. now it’s the land of, “what’s in it for me?” Dutifully facing Washington saying, “yes master.” Come on Mass. I’ve had some great friends, and business associates from Boston, these people were anything but Marxist, find your balls, “vote Brown!”
Okay, maybe I'm missing something here, but what would be the perceived benefit of a congressional representative (and their spouse) having no reportable financial assets worth more than $1,000? Maybe I don't understand what a "reportable financial asset" is, but it would strike me that if you don't have any sort of investment (such as her $12,000 retirement account…Wouldn't a home be considered a financial asset?), you're a perfect target for lobbyists, unions, and other corruptocrats.
Yet another "do as I say, not as I do" Liberal Democrat.
Liberal Democrats never think laws apply to them personally but are quick to apply laws to everyone else. I can't even begin to understand why people, even Libs, would put up with it.
A liberal friend of mine from Boston told me that Massachusetts always votes in liberals. When they mess things up bad enough, they then elect a Republican to clean things up — but only for ONE term! Then, they elect liberals again to continue the destruction. This explains everything in MA!

There is a pattern here. Geitner, tax cheat, code is too hard to fathom, Charlie Rangel, is there a Liberal Democrat that has an honest bone in their body? The answer is becoming crystal clear. Nancy (most open and ethical congress in history) Pelosi can't seem to get the ethics panel to move forward on all these cases. Must not be any Republicans to ferret out. The natives are very restless…….2010 is here and we are speaking in volumes that cannot be egnored any longer. We do not trust the MSM, we search alternative media for the truth, we even go to European news sorces to find out what is going on in our own country. Is there any wonder that the alphabet networks are losing share, and that the MSM is laughed at?

The level of corruption in this single state has been held in place by the glue of Ted Kennedy, the perfect design for shaping the course of corrupt government. The glue is gone. How nice this is for Coakley! This way if by some "freak of nature" she doesn't win the actual election, she will at least be the frontrunner for an appointment position in Obama's Administration. Now that's thinking ahead.

Ever since the Government and the EPA outlawed DDT and Agent Orange, I've had problems with weed control. I thought I had stockec up with enough of it, to last the rest of my lifetime, but have had to ration it the last few years. I learned a good lesson there.

And Boxer.. All I can say is, it was a sad day for the country when she broke her promise to retire, and decided to run again. It is clear that power has gone to her head and she will only leave when the crypt keeper pries the gavel out of her Botox crippled hand.

If Brown wins, the Dems lose their seat immediately. They can stall and block his swearing in all day, but the Senate seat gets vacated on Jan 19th regardless according to MA law.

He's the highly decorated Navy Vet who submitted himself for two Purple Hearts for minor SELF-INFLICTED wounds; who, as a leader of an anti-war group, attended a meeting where the assassination of elected US officials was proposed; and who, while still a US Naval officer, met secretly with officials of a government the US was at war with and discussed ways he could aid that hostile government in defeating the United States. He then returned to the US and carried out those actions (in other words, knowingly committed TREASON!) Kerry, himself, has admitted each of these events over the years and evidently sees nothing wrong with any of these actions.

Not only this, but as the state's top lawyer, she'll be responsible/obligated to investigate any charges of vote fraud, such as that typically committed by ACORN and its minions. As a recipient of ACORN funds and support, she has a real conflict of interest and I (a MA resident) don't anticipate that she'll fulfill this obligation diligently or honestly.

Not true. Republican Bill Weld succeeded Dukakis; he was succeeded by his Lt. Governor, Paul Celucci, who was succeeded by his Lt. Gov., Jane Swift (after GWB made him Ambassador to Canada), who was succeeded by Mitt Romney. His Lt. Gov., Kerry Healey (who was NOT selected by the GOP delegates at their convention, but Romney picked her so he could have a woman on the ticket) was defeated by Deval Patrick (D). All four of those Republican governors were huge RINOs and did a lot of harm in varying degrees because of that. The only caveat for them is that they had a very small cadre of legislators on Beacon Hill to support their initiatives, but Weld was able to maintain a few vetoes. Romney is personally responsible for same-sex marriage being perpetrated on the country by the courts (not the voters).
How could you possibly write about Martha Coakley without mentioning her involvement in the Amirault case?
Maybe some of those residents in the Bay State could do a sit in or some way try to overload 'the system' at the ACORN offices. Lets Roll!
I was resting leaning against the ticket booth of a hot ride at the state fair one year. I noticed that the guy in the ticket booth was shorting people $1 when they paid with a 10 or 20 dollar bill. If someone noticed that their change was $1 short and complained, the guy would say "I'm sorry," and he gave the dollar back.
That guy reminds me of a lot of democrates lately. I keep hearing these "I'm sorrys" like the crook in the ticket booth.

Election fraud will continue to increase because of corrupt election procedures, criminal Secretaries of State overseering elections (many in office through funding from Traitor George Soros), voter intimidation by union goonions, the New Black Panthers, and ACORN (forgiven by the crooked Attorney General Eric Holder), fraudulent voter enrollment, notably by ACORN, corrupt judges who change the rules from precinct to precinct until they get the results they want, ineligibility (in the case of the Ineligible-Affirmative Action-Usurper-in-Chief), multiple votes from DefeatokRATraitors, the dead, non-persons registered fraudulently, pets, etc. etc.

In addition, there's the manifest policy of a two-tiered "justice" system: one for the elites and their friends (Charles "Tax Cheat"Rangel, and Timothy "Tax Cheat" Geithner, Sandy "Archive" Burglar, to name a few), and against their enemies (e. g. – Scooter Libby); with the bottom tier reserved for rigorous prosecution of us peasants (in elitist eyes).
Election fraud is difficult to defeat legally because of the expense of mounting a challenge, the deck being stacked against the challenger, and the corrupt judicial environment.
So now we face a close election in Taxachusetts, where Teddy Kennedy should have been rotting in jail for manslaughter, but was instead allowed to pollute the entire country with his treasonous policies.
Will the true patriots in the cradle of liberty finally rise up and "bend the curve" toward honest elections?

You made some good points…I’d like to know what you would suggest in my situation. I think my girlfriend could be having an affair, but I do not have any proof. It’s more like I have a “gut feeling.” Do you think I should see about hiring a private investigator? Or should I confront her with my suspicions?
