DanStlMo - August 20th, 2011 at 10:12 am

More like the "News" is the fertilizer and the source of the smell.

MonoPed - August 20th, 2011 at 10:21 am

Just I suspected…all these liberal lame stream media sycophants are full of crap… just like their dear leader.

Cowboy Logic - August 20th, 2011 at 10:22 am

They also spread it on the organic arugula garden at da White Houze.

Petroglyph - August 20th, 2011 at 10:24 am

Won't even be able to use the fertilizer since gardens will be outlawed soon.

Annie_C - August 20th, 2011 at 10:24 am

This morning's Los Angeles Daily News (San Fernando Valley's LA Times Wannabe) had as its above-the-fold, upper left corner headline: "Recovery Takes a Break in State."

It sounded so upbeat, it took me a second to realize it was a report on California's dismal economy.

JRvette - August 20th, 2011 at 10:25 am

Playboy reportedly offered Sarah Palin $4,000,000 to pose nude in an upcoming issue.
Michelle Obama was offered $50 by National Geographic.

In other news…….. we all remember when KFC offered a "Hillary" meal, consisting of 2 small breasts and 2 large thighs. Now, KFC is offering the "Obama Cabinet Bucket". It consists of nothing but left wings and chicken sh*t

mseries - August 20th, 2011 at 10:28 am

For a minute, I thought they were going to use that stuff as part of 0bama's new plan to "grow" the economy.

Whats_Up - August 20th, 2011 at 10:32 am

They've outlawed the use and sale of fertilizer here in FL during the months of March through September …something like that. I had to drive to another county to stock up before the law went into effect there, too. Yet one more product I now have to horde. Phucking environmental whackos and government.

Rebas_Thgil - August 20th, 2011 at 10:33 am

New garden supply checklist: Shovel. Hoe. Rifle. Blammo.

That's what they mean by Ojackazz's government putting more burden on the middle class……

HotCoffee - August 20th, 2011 at 10:35 am

More like the Democrats' Aroma poisons everything…the FCC is corrupt. Communist propoganda has no place in America. It must be deleted throughout permanently…or America will fall.

Rebas_Thgil - August 20th, 2011 at 10:35 am

Warning to the wise: Folks, don't use this crap in your own gardens. It makes all the wrong stuff grow, and isn't very helpful to the right stuff.

blame_canada929 - August 20th, 2011 at 10:40 am

I dont read "Al-Jazeera"–Oops wrong article!

Rebas_Thgil - August 20th, 2011 at 10:40 am

Now it's important to think about that perimeter drain around the compost pile with a little sump pump that will lift your compost tea either back onto the pile or else into your fertilizer can. We can work around the idiots for a while….

Is it illegal for me to mail to you a present of nitrates, urea, phosphorus and potassium? bwaaaahahahahahahahahha..

Petroglyph - August 20th, 2011 at 10:44 am

We used to put the bodies of the salmon and steelhead (after fileting) into our garden. Decomposing flesh makes good fertilizer……………

Rebas_Thgil - August 20th, 2011 at 10:55 am

Especially for corn.

Whats_Up - August 20th, 2011 at 11:10 am

We're going to be putting a 2 trash cans under the gutter spouts soon. Don't know enough about sump pumps, nor do I want to at this point. Am a bit overwhelmed with what I'm doing now. Prepping the veggie beds, transplanting boatloads of plants, raking more leaves up for the compost pile, looking for a damn rabbit farm (close by) for my fertilizer. And I need to buy a few bales of fricking hay. And damn if I didn't just find some weevils eating my Tangelo and Nectarine leaves.

Hershey Squirt - August 20th, 2011 at 11:40 am

When I was a kid, we used to do that with crappie. Awesome fertilizer.

harley_charley - August 20th, 2011 at 11:50 am

"organic arugula at da White Houze" Great quip Cowboy

rckmom - August 20th, 2011 at 12:51 pm

Pretty soon, the only thing fertilizer will be used for is bombs…that's sad!! This government intrusion into EVERY aspect of our lives has to STOP!!!!

DonTapouT - August 20th, 2011 at 3:49 pm

This is the best one I have seen!

Red47 - August 20th, 2011 at 5:23 pm

I think the rabbit farms have gone underground. (Punny!) You can try Llamas if rabbits are not around. Llamas make it easy. They basically deposit their pellets in one place.

Red47 - August 20th, 2011 at 5:24 pm

I started to do that just like in the Great Pacific Northwest. Then I stopped myself. Here, the bear would dig them up, if the dog, skunk, coyotes or foxes didn't first.

leavenofherod - August 20th, 2011 at 7:06 pm

It is improper to use a preposition to end a sentence with.

Whats_Up - August 20th, 2011 at 9:54 pm

Good post, Red. We don't have any Llamas here – I live in the most densely populated county in FL, Pinellas County here on the gulf coast. (Most peeps think Miami/Dade is the most populated.) Haven't been able to find any hay bales less than 30 miles away. Am going to call my Doggie Day Care – she has horses – and ask her if I can buy some bales.

I've neighbors who are now raising chickens (illegally). My county says NO to chickens, yet we are in an unincorporated city – and the friggin' city says you can have chickens. WTF? I am in need of a female goat at this point – fresh milk, cheese and one to eat the damn weeds.

Unibrowser1 - August 20th, 2011 at 10:24 pm

Outstanding!

Red47 - August 20th, 2011 at 10:29 pm

Rabbits and llamas eat weeds and they make good eating, but I have never tried to milk a rabbit :) . Zoning laws are labyrinthine.

flappdoodle - August 21st, 2011 at 5:53 am

BO stinks.

bteacher99 - August 21st, 2011 at 6:37 am

NICE!!

pendit1 - August 21st, 2011 at 10:35 am

Love this panel!
Well drawn, great message.

Washington76 - August 21st, 2011 at 11:42 am

Liberal logic:
1. Against the de.ath penalty, but all for abortion
2. Bush spent too much, so we need to spend even more to “clean up the mess.”
3. Poor people are poor because rich people exploit them.
4. More money will improve our failing public schools.
5. Taking money from the earners and giving it to non-earners will lift the non-earners from poverty.
6. Terrorists hate us because we haven’t been nice enough to them. We can reason with them.
7. Socialism will work for us because we are smarter than all of the others for whom it failed.
8. Teenage girls will stop having illegitimate babies if we pay them to do it.

NPR’s Garrison Keillor to Host Obama Campaign Fundraiser

by Accuracy in Media

From Accuracy in Media's Logan Churchwell: While some conservative leaning blogs are beginning to grumble that a popular NPR personality is hosting a fundraiser for the Obama campaign this week, POLITICO and other outlets carrying the original Minnesota Public Radio report are only skimming the surface of a long...
