Whats_Up - January 20th, 2012 at 2:15 pm

MSM hypocrisy at its best …degrade and deride our US troops and praise the O for Taliban negotiations.

Hush the beheadings, rapes and terror the Taliban does on a daily basis. Promote how baaaad the MSM thinks of our troops – about as "Anti-American" as one can get.

TearsOfTheSon - January 20th, 2012 at 2:24 pm

When an organization is beyond stupid and corrupt, what is it ?

The UnAmerican MSM….supported by stupid corrupt elites and urbanites..

grainbird - January 20th, 2012 at 2:39 pm

No need to ask whose side they're on. But it's all in the cause of The Greater Good. Just ask their old college professors. What a noble crew.

JRvette - January 20th, 2012 at 2:48 pm

News like this MSM never reports
Just another job Americans are too dumb or lazy to do that these wetbacks take and his punishment will be a $30,000,000 contract and zero fine on the so called American team that hired him

The Cleveland Indians pitcher known as Fausto Carmona issued a tearful apology Friday as he was released following his arrest for allegedly using a false identity to play baseball in the U.S.

"I ask for the forgiveness of my fans, the government of the United States and the Cleveland Indians for this situation," he said upon leaving the court, where a judge released him on bail of about $13,000.

Police arrested him Thursday outside the U.S. consulate in his native Dominican Republic when he arrived to get his visa renewed. Spokesman Maximo Baez Aybar said the athlete's real name is Roberto Hernandez Heredia and that he is 31, three years older than he had claimed.

He was the second Dominican player arrested in recent months for using a false identity.

Marlins reliever Leo Nunez was arrested last month for using a false identity, three months after the team placed him on the restricted list when it became known he was playing under an assumed name.

Nunez, whose actual name is Juan Oviedo, was quickly released and officials said he would not be prosecuted because he was cooperating with a larger investigation into the use of false documents.

Lawyers for Hernandez said the Indians pitcher would speak in more detail at a later news conference. Judge Keyla Perez ordered him not to leave the country and required him to check in with prosecutors while the case is under further investigation.

His lawyer, Joaquin Perez, said they did not know if pther players were also under investigation in the case.

Carmona is due to make $7 million this year, and the Indians hold options for 2013 at $9 million and 2014 at $12 million.

"We were recently made aware of the situation that occurred today in the Dominican Republic and are currently in the process of gathering information," general manager Chris Antonetti said after the arrest.

Carmona's career in Cleveland has been one of extremes.

After going 1-10 in 2006, the right-hander with a wicked slider won 19 games in 2007, shocking the Indians, who had briefly experimented with him as a closer. Carmona followed up with a disappointing 2008 season, and in 2009 the club sent him to the lower minors to work on his mechanics.

When they murder young girls they prefer rusty dull knives. Wake up, America!

RadioMattM - January 20th, 2012 at 3:20 pm

How do you win wars by trying not to hurt the feelings of your enemy? If troops had been urinating on Taliban corpses from the beginning, we may have won this thing years ago.

StanH - January 20th, 2012 at 3:22 pm

Perfect toon!

Whats_Up - January 20th, 2012 at 3:35 pm

Lest we not forget …these young girls are beaten and raped repeatedly before using those dull knives.

LibertyWriter - January 20th, 2012 at 3:39 pm

Yes.
I can't say anymore.

DemsAreMarxists - January 20th, 2012 at 3:41 pm

The difference between the Taliban and the MSM…

The traitorous American MSM isn't worthy of the piss, or the time it would take to let them have it.

CasualMeyhem - January 20th, 2012 at 3:44 pm

So now we know MSM priorities. Plain as day.

syvyn11 - January 20th, 2012 at 4:41 pm

I find it amazing that the Democrats will yell from the highest mountains that they are the true champions of woman's rights and yet not a peep from any of them of the brutality the Taliban shows women on a daily basis. A goat has a better life under these radicals than women.

When was the last time Barbara Boxer decried a Afghan teen girl getting a forced clitoridectomy!

Mylesproweer - January 20th, 2012 at 5:04 pm

I would say cover them in bacon, but there's not a service member in the US military that would EVER let that happen. Bacon is too darn delicious! It'd never make it to the corpses.

Kitsapbass - January 20th, 2012 at 5:10 pm

In LA they pay good good money to have done what the Marines did for free…

The MSM knows this, because most of them enjoy that privilege…

Squishy_ - January 20th, 2012 at 5:20 pm

Whelp, that pretty well sums it up.

Texasron - January 20th, 2012 at 5:32 pm

I say, capture them, urinate of them, then kill them.

palidin911 - January 20th, 2012 at 6:23 pm

Boxer? She only wished she still had one that worked.

NutsnBolts - January 20th, 2012 at 9:28 pm

Yep, why waste a good piss on a corpse when you can use it on a live scumbag instead?

NutsnBolts - January 20th, 2012 at 9:30 pm

In other words, it's just another day at the MSM.

Red47 - January 20th, 2012 at 10:27 pm

There is always enough bacon grease to spread around…

DaleTheNerd - January 21st, 2012 at 4:26 am

Democrats don't really care about women. They care about political power.

DaleTheNerd - January 21st, 2012 at 4:28 am

I take it from your user name that you live in western Washington. You poor soul. I live in eastern Washington. I wish we'd form a new state east of the Cascades.

DaleTheNerd - January 21st, 2012 at 4:30 am

On top of that, the MSM would probably like it. I hear they're into water sports.

Kitsapbass - January 21st, 2012 at 4:57 am

Dale – I don't blame you! Heck, I'd be living over there, except for my job skills are in the nautical repair field…and I don't think there'd be a lot of work for me there!

MacJedi - January 21st, 2012 at 5:52 am

While I gladly concur that the MSM is corrupt and useless, they are just the clueless idiot wing of the progressives. The really dirty dogs of the group are the children that are the Obama regime, out there wringing their hands on the international stage about two quarts of urine on a KILLING FIELD. If Americans, I mean the real ones, have any understanding of legitimacy and justice, how can they honestly defend voting for any DemocRAT or RINOpublican? Not only do the progressives hate the US Constitution (and slyly promote that view), but they actively work against the will and common good of the people. BOY O BOY, this election better be a slam dunk.

BlazingBuddist - January 21st, 2012 at 5:55 am

You think every Afghan is a member of the Taliban?
lol, most of the dead are just farmers trying to defend their homeland from the invading forces.
Wake up, America! Your government are the real terrorists.

OldmanRick - January 21st, 2012 at 5:58 am

MSM: marxist, socialist media. That says it all.

LibertyWriter - January 21st, 2012 at 6:01 am

Yep, farmers like that guy in Green Acres? or Little House on the Prairie? Most of your peaceful farmers grow poppies and smoke opium.

afreegreek - January 21st, 2012 at 6:56 am

Urinating on dead savages… I can hardly think of something I care less about..

Tomtom29 - January 21st, 2012 at 7:02 am

Shouldn't waste valuable urine. Save it for Ted Kennedy's grave.

flappdoodle - January 21st, 2012 at 7:17 am

"Ever." Not "still."

flappdoodle - January 21st, 2012 at 7:18 am

That's a waste of time. He's too good a swimmer.

BlazingBuddist - January 21st, 2012 at 10:15 am

As opposed to drinking alcohol? What was your point there, other than to highlight your own ignorance?
Do you know why they grow poppies? I suggest you educate yourself on the matter before taking such a stance.

TearsOfTheSon - January 21st, 2012 at 10:19 am

As a rule, conservatives go into business, engineering. and real sciences… liberals go into government, journalism and the arts.
So little surprise we have a communist media complex….The gift of gab seems to trump the gift of brains and logic… and a grasp of econ101

LibertyWriter - January 21st, 2012 at 10:42 am

Because they don't like porridge?

BlazingBuddist - January 21st, 2012 at 11:07 am

lol, your ignorance is still clear to see.

LibertyWriter - January 21st, 2012 at 11:14 am

You ask a simple question and he calls you ignorant.

Jekyll_Island - January 21st, 2012 at 11:50 am

So the second story was not reported?

BlazingBuddist - January 21st, 2012 at 11:54 am

You have an opportunity to educate yourself, yet you choose not to. That's why you're ignorant.
The facts won't find you!

Banana Charger - January 21st, 2012 at 12:23 pm

Well they hate the American military, not the Taliban, so what's wrong with their choices?

LibertyWriter - January 21st, 2012 at 12:33 pm

I am giving you the opportunity to educate me, but so far you just call me names.

DemsAreMarxists - January 21st, 2012 at 12:35 pm

What you said is so sick, because it's so true.

Speak truth to traitors!

harley2002 - January 22nd, 2012 at 6:41 am

The only mistake the troops made is not pi$$ing on the Taliban while he was still alive then shoot him.

BlazingBuddist - January 22nd, 2012 at 6:49 am

Afghanistan is an underdeveloped country with little or no infrastructure outside of Kabul. They used to grow a lot of figs, however, since the attempted occupation by the former USSR and the take-over of the Taliban, the only cash-crop farmers could produce was opium. Being Muslims, they aren't allowed to consume alcohol, so they use the opium they produce. (If you think this is worse than consuming alcohol, then think again)
They don't know the opium they produce is being used to make heroin. However, even though western governments could buy the opium and use it to make morphine for medical purposes, they'd rather destroy the poppy crops and remove these farmers only means of income.
Now, put yourself in the shoes of an Afghan farmer. For almost a decade, you've fought against the invading Soviet forces, then, 10 years later, another force seeks to invade and occupy your territory while destroying your livelihood. You fight or you and your family die anyway. Kellogg's aren't going to arrive and pay you to grow their cereal crops and not much else is going to grow their that'll pay for your family to eat.
Also, at no point did I say these farmers were peaceful. They've been in wars for 20 of the last 30 years. They do what they have to to survive.
While typing this, I've noticed a lot of retarded comments appearing down the right side of my screen with regards to OWS, so I don't expect anyone to take in what I've written here, I also don't expect my comments to last long in view of the fascist nature of this website; but it doesn't stop me trying. I fight for people's rights (whether they want me to or not). If you like being a slave to the rich, then tough. It won't go on for much longer.
Have fun in your closed off world, retards.

LibertyWriter - January 22nd, 2012 at 7:00 am

Check this out. https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/Ha...
note the reference to Afgani-Black.
This is been going on for a long, long time. Before here ever was a CIA. I bet

Sorry, I don't pity the opium farmers or the terrorists that profit from them.

BeeKaay - January 23rd, 2012 at 4:45 am

What makes the news: "Taliban are real Muslims! This war is racist against Muslims!" (one big huge lie)

What doesn't make the news: FACT: Taliban are really fake Muslims who support terrorism (Fatwas forbid it – remember what CAIR said! They're the ones who issued the fatwas!) Since terrorism is contrary to Islam, the Taliban are not really Muslims but heretics/apostates.

BlazingBuddist - January 23rd, 2012 at 1:45 pm

lol, I know a lot about cannabanoids. I also know that the US government is the biggest terrorist organisation in the world which makes a huge profit from illicit drug use.
Such laughable hypocrisy. Shame you don't question the lies as much as you question the truth.

LibertyWriter - January 23rd, 2012 at 2:03 pm

And don't forget the UFO's

BlazingBuddist - January 23rd, 2012 at 2:20 pm

Yeah, that was another lie from the US government. We are the most advanced species in the known universe. Well, some of us are anyway.

LibertyWriter - January 23rd, 2012 at 2:45 pm

And vampires?

BlazingBuddist - January 24th, 2012 at 4:50 am

They're just bankers

LibertyWriter - January 24th, 2012 at 7:50 am

The Boogie Man?

BlazingBuddist - January 24th, 2012 at 9:08 am

lol, now you're just making things up. Next you'll be telling me about jesus

LibertyWriter - January 24th, 2012 at 9:12 am

So, you have heard about Him.

BlazingBuddist - January 24th, 2012 at 12:30 pm

I've heard the stories. He was quite the socialist.

LibertyWriter - January 24th, 2012 at 12:35 pm

That proves that you either do not know Him or you do not know your own religion. Probably both.

BlazingBuddist - January 24th, 2012 at 5:42 pm

Knowledge and religion don't really go hand in hand.
There is little evidence to suggest he actually existed, but if he did then he was merely a prophet of middle-eastern descent.
However, in the stories it says he feeds the masses and brings health care to the poor. I think you'll find that's socialism.

LibertyWriter - January 24th, 2012 at 5:56 pm

Actually, Jesus did not feed everybody, he only fed those who came to listen to him speak and he fed them just that once. It seems He told the Apostle Paul that if you do not work, neither shall you eat. As far as universal healthcare is concerned in all but one occasion (I believe) only those who He touched or touched Him were healed. Certainly not universal. In fact just the opposite.

As far as His existance, I can vouch that He does indeed exist. He just told me to not waste anymore time with you. I am to just leave it up to Him.

BlazingBuddist - January 24th, 2012 at 6:20 pm

I just spoke to the flying spaghetti monster and he says you made that up.

NPR’s Garrison Keillor to Host Obama Campaign Fundraiser

by Accuracy in Media

From Accuracy in Media's Logan Churchwell: While some conservative leaning blogs are beginning to grumble that a popular NPR personality is hosting a fundraiser for the Obama campaign this week, POLITICO and other outlets carrying the original Minnesota Public Radio report are only skimming the surface of a long...
