LMAO, good comparison, and shows how our Dear Leader is not fit for office. Oh and BTW, CNN was talking about this, and mentioned that Whoopi Goldberg is a Political Commentator. When did that happen?????? Last I heard she was a comedian who did one or two good movies and had built her schtick on being a black lady who complained. Oh well, if Franken can be a Senator, Whoopi a Political Commentator, and Chelsea Clinton being compared to Princess Diana then it makes sense for the empty headed man in the picture to be dictator.

Presidential candidates lost all hope of looking presidential when they started going on shows like The David Letterman Show, The Tonight Show, The View, and even The Ellen DiGeneres show (for Christ's sakes Obama even went on that one when he ran for president and so did McCain). So if they're going to whore themselves while they are running for president, I really don't see why they should stop when they become president? Obama lost his dignitiy and his soul years ago, as soon as he stepped into that church with the "Reverand" Wright. So you can hardly expect him to change now. If any presidential candidate wants my respect, they shouldn't lower themselves by going on ANY of these silly shows. Somehow I can't see Ronald Reagan doing the Ellen DiGeneres Show or John Kennedy going on The View. The American public has lots of opportunities, especially in this Internet age, to find out anything they want about a candidate. They don't have to also go on shows that sell tires, power tools, and feminine hygiene products.

Years ago, Richard Nixon did a cameo on the Rowan & Martin "Laugh-In" comedy show ("Sock it to ME?") and there wasn't a whole lot of fall-out from that. Still, the Prez has definitely overexposed himself. There's an air of desperation in all these appearances – I think his appearance on "American Idol" was the "nail in the coffin" for me ("You all my Dawgs" – thank God he didn't sing). He's become a caricature like the "Sham-Wow" guy or Ray "You can call be Ray or you can call me…" J. Stevens.
Obama's appearance on The View actually makes perfect political sense when you realize that the sort of people who WATCH The View are the only type of people stupid enough to vote for this man (or Democrats) again.
I notice how all the woman on The View cross their legs at the calf, not that there is anything wrong with that.
I guess doing The View is easier than holdiong a real Press Conference, I wonder if he brought the Telepromter?

I like watching them too but for a different reason. I use them to teach my daughter how to understand advertising. What to look for, and what to look out for. How to use her own intelligence to determine what they are actually selling, is it useful, does it look like its worth the money.
