it might go like this:

an attempt is made on an official. It's a set-up. The feds come up with some trailer trash who claims that 'Beck/Limbaugh/Palin' made hiom do it. The State Controlled Media ramps it up. It splinters his opposition,
and 'guilt' allows the agenda to move forward.
