The U.N.’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is in a bit of a quandary. People have learned that global warming is a scam so they’re trying to reshuffle the deck chairs to see if that’ll save the Titanic.

Readers of the Times and the Telegraph are watching the IPCC’s credibility disappear before their eyes. The former head of IPCC has publicly said the organization risks losing all credibility if it can’t clean up its act. The head of the largest British funder of environmental research has joined the head of Greenpeace UK in criticizing the IPCC. The Dutch government has demanded that the IPCC correct its erroneous assertion that half of the Netherlands is below sea level. Actually, it’s only about a quarter. A prediction about the impact of sea level increases on people living in the Nile Delta was taken from an unpublished student dissertation. The report contained inaccurate data about generating energy from waves and about the cost of nuclear power (this information was apparently taken without being checked directly from a website supported by the nuclear power industry). The deeply environmentalist Guardian carries a story documenting the decline in both public and Conservative Party confidence in the need to address global warming.

So the IPCC is looking to redo how it fabricates gathers data. After all, there are billions of dollars at stake. Global Warming is a huge business. Nothing rings the scam register more than guilt gelt. The problem with the whole AGW pitch is it’s based on logical fallacies and computer models written on false assumptions, namely that CO2 is causing climate change. Man made CO2 is an insignificant part of the earth’s atmosphere. The warmists are using falsified results to push their arguments, as Climategate demonstrated. Interviews with key climate pushers like Al Gore revealed that the end goal of this scheme is global governance with the creeps who polluted Copenhagen with their presence as our future overlords. Not appealing in the least.

Couple that with a record winter storm this year, which belies everything the warmists have been claiming previously. Yet now, climate shills like the alleged news channel, MSNBC, are claiming the storms are “proof” that warming is happening. Here is their convoluted and hilarious spin:


Hysterical MSNBC commentary-clown Keith Olberman even went so far as to state that Sarah Palin and Rush Limbaugh were “trying to kill us with global warming disinformation.” Apparently he hasn’t looked at the evidence that the warmists are trying to rob us with the very technique he describes.

MSNBC lacks any qualifications as a news channel because it is only interested in disseminating propaganda from the progressive elite. It does not bother to present different sides, or question official statements or investigate the veracity of claims. As you can see from the clips, they merely rattle off a litany of talking points and insults for those who disagree with them. Thus they have the lowest ratings on TV News. Olbermann’s are even declining.

The BBC, being funded by tax dollars, has been pushing one side of the Climate Change debate from the start. But since Climategate and a series of revelations have torn apart the IPCC’s claims, it’s trying to cover itself. They’re beginning to actually do a measure of journalistic investigation into the claims. This should have been done from day one. But the media today only exists to support the power structure unless their bottom line is threatened.

That day has come. The media has to deal with it or suffer the fate of MSNBC which is headed toward Air America territory.

The warmists aren’t going down without a fight. They have a lot invested in this, and they have an ally in President Obama. They all had such grand plans. But reality has a nasty way of turning plans into fool’s errands. The public is increasingly not interested in when they’re selling.
