“If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, not your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.” –Samuel Adams, 1776
Part 1: A Primer, Part 2: Foundation, Part 3: Execution
You would think that everyone wants to be free. You would think no one wants to be ruled by tyrants of any kind. Yet many people in the so-called free world are not only selling themselves out, they are selling out the rest of us, and our descendants. And so many of them don’t even know they’re doing it. They’ve been lied to. Tricked, fooled, played. And the agents of statism intend to keep it that way.
For 100 years the Big Government (BG) loving statists have been trying to convert the bottom-up United States into top-down society. They have managed to bring it very far along this course. There are still some matters they have to resolve, but they are closer than they ever have been. They never sought to win through insurrection because war is too costly and the results of any conflict are unpredictable. They used an approach the Nazis did to great effect in Germany. They gamed the system.
Like our progressive statists, the Nazis came to power legally. They got elected and then, once in positions of authority, corrupted the system and turned it into what they wanted. The old fascists did this in a short amount of time because Germany did not have a LG constitution like the US. Our system makes it very hard to turn the state into an autocratic dictatorship. Those progressives of the ’30s, who were at first enamored of the Fascists in Europe, wanted to take over the US in the same fashion. They had been doing it since Teddy Roosevelt was elected. Roosevelt began a war on corporations, including a bizarre crusade against Coca-Cola. It would echo later crusades by politicians against American industries, demonizing them and making them out to be evil incarnate.
The statists had an immense problem in turning the U.S. into a top-down society. They needed the consent of the people, to give up their rights and freedoms. For a BG state to be powerful, it needed endless supplies of capital. The income tax was created to fund the expansion of government and to pit the classes against each other. In every election for the last 100 years you’ve heard about the rich “not paying their fair share” even though the top ten percent pays most of the taxes . But because America is so prosperous, people were too content with the status quo to want to change. So the statists turned to two schools of thought that were designed to subvert the west and turn it toward Marxism. The first was the writings of Antonio Gramsci, an Italian Communist of the early 20th century who was later imprisoned by the Fascists in Italy.

Gramsci saw that Marx was wrong. Capitalism wasn’t folding as he predicated and people weren’t flocking to Marxism. He theorized that there was something he called a “cultural hegemony” preventing this. People who lived in a common culture were unified and comfortable with the status quo, especially if there was a large middle class. So Gramsci suggested that their values had to be portrayed as wrong. That their culture was neither “natural” nor “inevitable.” He suggested that their culture be undermined and subverted. He saw that middle class cultural values were tied to religion, so religion had to be discredited and undermined. That is largely why you see a relentless attack on Christianity in Western Culture now. It is seen as a “glue” holding our culture together. And thus, it must be broken. Gramsci’s theories are also the reason you see so much effort to trash conventional American values. Middle America is portrayed as stupid, racist, etc. in an effort to de-legitimize it. “Progressive” values are portrayed as “right-thinking.” Even though those values are constantly changing depending on what they consider good or bad at the time.
The second major influence on the modern statists is the Frankfurt School.

Like Gramsci, they developed an approach to overthrowing Western Civilization so it could be replaced by Marxist thought. Their system is called “critical theory.” Critical Theory sought to destroy western culture by attacking every aspect of it and dividing everyone, setting them on each other so there is no unity. Multiculturalism is designed to destroy the dominant culture by suggesting that other cultures must be given a superior status than your own. It seeks to make everyone feel they’re part of an oppressed minority (except whites, the dominate ethnic group) which is why whites, especially white males, are made to be the villains. You are made to feel ashamed of your race if you’re white because “you killed the Indians, you enslaved the blacks, etc.” even though you did no such thing. When those things happened, it was a minority of whites who did them and most Americans are descended from immigrants who came after those events occurred.
The statists push non-white immigration because they think it gives them more power, thus in the early 1960s immigration laws were changed to favor non-Europeans. And in Britain, similar tactics were employed by the Labour party to flood the nation with immigrants from other cultures. Weaken the majority and you can more easily push your agenda. Or so the theory goes.
The Labour government has been engaged upon a deliberate and secret policy of national cultural sabotage.
It was… a politically motivated attempt by ministers to transform the fundamental make-up and identity of this country. It was done to destroy the right of the British people to live in a society defined by a common history, religion, law, language and traditions.
It was done to destroy forever what it means to be culturally British and to put another ‘multicultural’ identity in its place. And it was done without telling or asking the British people whether they wanted their country and their culture to be transformed in this way.
Political correctness is another invention of the Frankfurt School. It was designed to classify people into smaller groups and make it politically dangerous to criticize anyone in a “protected class”. This was done so that that could further undermine the power structure. Even though it was white people coming up with these schemes, race is only seen as a political tool. They didn’t think they would be disenfranchised in the end. The statists assumed they would end up the ruling class. The truth is, they really don’t care about other races or minority groups. They are only a means to an end. Nothing more. When the statists win, they will treat those classes they used as badly as everyone else.

Of course, in their minds they are the heroes of the people. Even though everywhere statists gain power, they make life hell for those below them on their new class structure. While they seek to destroy traditional classes, the truth is, they merely replace them with themselves at the top. The “political class” and those below, the “governed”. BG systems are always bad for human freedom. The only winners are the small group of elites at the top.
BG statists achieve consent by propaganda designed to anger their followers. They encourage everyone to be upset about whatever the successful are doing. They have to demonize whoever doesn’t follow their script. This is why you see so many corporations and rich people taking the progressive line. They don’t want to be turned into an enemy. The statists set groups against each other. They invent crises like “global warming” to scare people into giving up their freedoms in the name of “saving the planet.” Nothing they do is honest. They base everything on one lie stacked upon another. Many of them don’t even know what the truth us. They are not trained to think. They train others to follow them. To be mindless minions marching to the beat of their drums.
That is why you hear the same words come out of their mouths. Their talking points are created by a committee and passed down the line for everyone to recite like a catechism. Their followers are all so angry because they’re constantly being told to hate the opposition. To fear them. To see them as evil and stupid, so you will never seek to understand them. There is nothing “liberal” about progressives. They are illiberal. They are in fact, regressive because they all follow 19th century ideologies.
They have infiltrated every institution to ensure their ideology is the only accepted one. Any variance from that is attacked. Politicians such as Sarah Palin are viewed as a return to classic American values and this is not to be tolerated. They want to destroy American values utterly. Like the Fascists of old, who initially teamed up with the Communists so that one could play the right and the other could play the left, they’ve infiltrated both parties so they can control the debate.

Each party plays to their respective side, but the progressives design the thesis and the antithesis in order to produce the synthesis. The Republicans took the thesis, in other words. The Democrats seem to be the opposition by taking the antithesis. But no matter which side wins to still see the country moving in the direction progressives want.
In the final chapter of this series I will tie it all together. See you next week.

This column is mostly good and mostly right, however the continual attacks on Teddy Roosevelt by you and Beck negate a few things in history, and most especially the context of the times, the culture, and the school of thought. You also blatantly ignore the true Republican Progressive known as Taft. Really the whole thing brings you full circle. By ignoring all those things it really makes you no different than the current progressives that just want to run over everyone in their wake. Would you have had Roosevelt run over the population of his time? If he did what would make that or him any different than now? You cannot rush to judgment and ignore the culture and it's inherent effect on policies and elections, and as always hindsight is 20/20. Very few presidents are either good or bad, most are both and that includes Roosevelt. Roosevelt was not a blatant crook, as a matter of fact he won election on his anti corruption stance. He single handedly brought down Tammany Hall, which had a huge domino effect on the entire country. He also told the world, and meant it, that the USA was not some inbred podunk country that you could just look down upon and ignore. With that mindset, or psychology if you will, instilled into the populous, it enabled us to win not one, but two world wars.
Excellent piece J.H.
A very big goal of moden progressive statists is to grow the government worker segment of society. Obama is achieving this in a BIG way.
Obamacare is about expanding the fedral and state worker poll. In a BIG way.
SEIU and other unions are on board so they can grow their memberships, and confiscate dues, in BIG way.
Linked is are videos on the Frankfurt School.

Actually, I don't call Roosevet evil. That is the difference between myself and Beck. Beck likes to paint things in absolute terms. I realize that these men operated out of what they thought was a good idea at the time. But they were wrong, IMO. Some of what TR did was good as I pointed out last time, but he started the attacks on business ( OK, Taft did some too). The point is, many people who follow the progressive line fail to see the implications of what they are really doing. And then there are those who know exactly what they're trying to do.
A villain is the hero of their own story. Few people see themselves as evil They operate out of what they consider a good idea. But those who are wrong are those who do the most damage. As I pointed out last time, The Road to Hell is paved with good intentions. There is a reason our constitution should be revered and why it's responsible for American exceptionalism.
I once heard a University professor, a PhD in philosophy – a Progressive Socialist to the core – refer to her own brother, a Conservative, as "a pasty-white racist"…
…when I remarked that, as "white" herself, she seemed to have a self-loathing for her own heritage, she replied, "Oh, it's not SELF-loathing" – implying clearly that she did not consider herself as part of the same ethnicity as her own brother…this madness is a direct result of the Frankfurt School indoctrination my sister received through her college and university education – and it has resulted in a civil war in this country that is reaching it's climax – the Socialist agenda is to destroy the fabric of society – sister against brother, children against parents, schools and popular culture against religion and patriotism…the Tea Party is the expression of Americans who are saying " NO MORE ! – No MORE socialist policies in our government and NO MORE propaganda and pornography in our schools, TV, movies…NO MORE ! "
I am enjoying this series and learning a lot from you. I look forward to the final installment. Thank you, James.
Mr. Hudnall, would you agree Woodrow Wilson did more damage to our country than any "progressives" who preceded him?
What the Gramsci/Frankfurt School Socialists seek is to pit sister against brother, children against parents, public schools and popular culture against religion and patriotism…
…the Tea Party Movement is the reaction of Americans who are saying "NO MORE ! – NO MORE socialist government policies, no more socialist propaganda and pornography in our schools, on our TV's, in our movies…NO MORE !"
I am surprised by the timidity of so many Conservatives and Tea Party people. Don't question Obama's citizenship or we might be called "birthers." Don't call Obama a Socialist or we will be called "racists." And, the latest, Don't call Obama a Muslim or we will be labeled "nuts" or "kooks" or any of the long list the liberals use. They insist that only fact, reason and tolorance be used lest someone disagrees with us. Well, how has that worked so far… I thought so.
"Make the enemy live up to their own book of rules." Recognize that? Look it up.
Obama and his progressive supporters want to change the Constitution of the US and THEY ARE SUCCEDING! If you understand that and still think reason and tolorance will work, then you should prepare for the Socialism they will ram down your timid throat.
Barack Obama is a Muslim!

Also I think overall..(James's article) it boils down to first the Communist's assault and now the statists assault on America. Guys Like TR or FDR or BHO are just teeth on the sprocket of where we are headed not necessarily the cause. We the people can right the ship easily , there are more of us than then there are them after all. ( what 300m against 1K plus the media). It will be Fascinating to watch it all play out. Great piece James, keep up the good work.

Not to be a pain, but could you check for grammar before you post an article? Some of the sentences at the end aren't really sentences and don't make sense. This doesn't help the cause, as we are seen as less intelligent.

An excellant telling of an important story.
It is sometimes important to establish context in history, but this sometimes causes confusion to mix background events with direct causations. I think that TR is an example how a general trend can come to be capitalized on and exploited by later opportunists. Many people tend to fall into seperate camps of whether Teddy was pro or anti capitalism or progressivism, when he was just an expression of his time, looking to create a certain level of accountability in an era of new found economic power and abuse. He may have created a certain precident by his actions, but somehow I think he would be completed revulsed by how these ideas have been perverted.
TR's actions and motivations are not as important than the idea that later factions looked to exploit these ideas and transform society into their hellish idea of politically correct utopia.
Thank you for your work and I look forward to your next installment. The embedded links truely show the power of new media over the tired unchallenged old media narratives.
The federal reserve alone makes him the worst. Then you add his other abysmal policies. And all those anti-war people need to remember, Democrats got us in all those wars in the last century. WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam. Not Republicans. If they really cared so much about stopping war they would recognize the pattern.
Late night writing. Will try to proof better next time. i do have a tendency to use sentence fragments.
I agree with most of what you said and a particular hot button, of mine, right now, is how Glenn Beck has not only misused the term "PROGRESSIVE", but twisted itsa meaning and factual hiostory, so that he could throw TR under the bus/into the cesspool of latter day progressivism.
Taking figures and movements out of context, to make a point, is willful mendacity or the worst kind.
The combined force of the MSM and education system has, by this time, managed to truly dumb down the American populace to such an horrendous extent, that few people know any factual history at all now, which leads to them swallowing, as whole clothe, without any frame of reference, the errors, lies, and propaganda shoveled down their collective throats, daily, if they even manage to pay attention to any of it.
Ooppss…. Hope I didn't offend.. I have said this before but I'll re-iterate for the cheap seats. If you want grammatical perfection go read the New York Times… They have an error rate that would make your English teacher proud. Of course the substance is all bullshit…. but hey whats really important? The message or the typo?
BRAVO, Lolo !
Yes Glenn Beck does deal with absolutes but that's where the problems in American life have come from, without moral indignation and societal absolutes we would have sunk into anarchy and eventual despotism long ago..
We have to remember to refer to the natural absolutes to evaluate the subjective or implied absolutes and that is where Glenn Beck gets it right 100% of the time.
I appreciate your series on this topic and admire your tenacity in doing the work.
Thank You Mr Hudnall
"There is nothing “liberal” about progressives. They are illiberal. They are in fact, regressive because they all follow 19th century ideologies."
I think the leftist regression goes back to an even more ancient model than the 19th Century. It has always seemed to me that whenever the left succeeds in having their way with a polity that the result mostly resembles medieval feudalism. The leftist state is secular in that it denies the existence of God, but it simply replaces worship of God with the worship of one or more men. All the trappings of religion remain, but men are idolized. In all respects a leftist state resembles feudalism in its most extreme form. Everyone is rigidly categorized and the only way to rise socially/professionally is to be tapped by the ruling elite to be one of them. Heresy is punished with unbelievable fury and the entire leftist pathology is supported by a system of lies. The left prefers its narrative to be composed of lies because once you can force people to accept lies it is much easier to change the narrative and come up with rationalizations for the insane tenets of left wing thoughts and emotions.
LET ME BE CLEAR…. I was defending James Hudnall's small and hardly noticeable grammatical errors …
Sorry for any confusion.
TR changed over time, as do most people.
By the time he began the BULL MOOSE PARTY and had been out of power a while, his ideas changed and mostly for the worse. The underlying reasons for this, should be dealt with, rather than condemning everything he ever said or did out of hand.
Barry Goldwater is someone else who falls into the "older they got, the more idiotic and leftward they grew". A combination of losing the presidential race and marrying a much younger wife turned Goldwater's ideological stances to flaming lefty mush.
As far as TR being "anti-business", breaking up "THE TRUSTS"/monopolies, was the right thing to do, back then! Today, we all talk about the shredding of the Constitution, vis-a-vis eminent domain, the housing bubble, etc., yet, how many know about the THE KANSAS REVOLT of 1880 and the mortgage problems and foreclosures, not to mention the complicity fo the railroad monopoly back then?
The HOUSING BUBBLE and crashes of the Chicago real estate ( which also involve European speculators ) of 1871, '73 were also heavily tied in with the NYSE.
And TR's involvement with the railroad and food monopolies were proper and good things; especially food ! How many people, today, know anything at all about the debasement of foodstuffs ? Milk was doctored with chalk power and worse, rancid meat was painted or somehow treated to veil its rancidness and sold as PRIME, for but two examples. And no, those eating their own "home grown" vittles didn't far a whole lot better.
Teddy Roosevelt was the first enemy of capitalism to occupy the White House. That fact alone should be sufficient to place him in history as a bad president who established an even worse precedent.
"They have infiltrated every institution to ensure their ideology is the only accepted one. Any variance from that is attacked. Politicians such as Sarah Palin are viewed as a return to classic American values and this is not to be tolerated. They want to destroy American values utterly. And, like the Fascists of old, who initially teamed up with the Communists so that one could play the right and the other could play the left. Now they’ve infiltrated both parties so they can control the debate."
I found this statement very profound. I have been trying to understand why even so many GOP are death on Palin…sheand others who share her values shines the light into their darkness. The last thing a Prog on the right or the left wants, is to have a return to classic American values. James you have put into words what I have been feeling…thank you!
luv, if you had said Wilson, instead of TR, you would have been correct; however, you didn't, so you're dead wrong and the omission of Wilson shows that you need to know more……..much more, than what you've managed to pick up from Beck !
James, your analysis about the two types of government is right on. Most of the "labels" given to political phenomena are nonsensical. Mostly these labels are just words created by ideologues to explain reality by way of their flawed methodology. So much in your analysis is fundamentally correct , I just hate it that a lot of your historical examples are less than perfectly accurate. These historical inaccuracies weaken your overall argument to those who have studied these things more closely. But it does not have to be that way. Read as much Eric Voegelin as you can. You will see that he is an ally and has done the scholarly and philosophical heavy-lifting needed to bolster your position. And to see how Voegelin's work translates into the American political context, look at Ellis Sandoz's "A Government of Laws." Best of luck to you.
Ah, another fan of Pat Dollard…I've been following him online since '07. Love his anti-PC reporting and blogtalkradio.
The Frankfurt School…was not white people in the sense that you mean it. Be honest. Be brave. Identify the people and the fundamental similarity that they shared. Come on. We can handle it. We won't tar and feather them all. Let the "secret" out.
James thanks for another great article, don't mind the pseudo intellectuals…
Can't wait for the final installment…
Today's leftist progressives are a carbon copy of the Rooseveltian Wilsonian wannabe tyrants. The totallitarian loving phony progressive reformers of the early 1900s wanted to control what we common folks could do be it what eat, live rather we have children, our beliefs, allowoable reading , and what we can buy and consume.
Coca Cola was pursued as an enemy then and now. Margaret Sanger's of planned parenthood labeled those they believed to be undesirables who should be denied the "right" to have children. Sanger's monument and her Planned Parenthood is still today pursuing eugenics against "undesirables" by focusing their operation of abortion mills in low income neighborhoods.
Woodrow Wilson locked up 150,000 dissidents without access to due process and today B+ Odumber and Janet Nappy dub their opponents as domestic terrorists, order police departments to monitor veterans, track Christians who have an unapproved bumper sticker, and relentlessly seek to control the flow of information on the internet with it drive to by silence bloggers.
His food act was good, as was his early FDA, but look what they morphed into over time. The FDA is actually holding back medicine now. They want to ban prescription pain killers now because some people abuse them. Bureaucracies only turn into bloated, expensive monstrosities over time.
"They are not trained to think. They train others to follow them." I absolutely agree. As I've said on these posts before, statists don't want people who think; thinkers are their worst enemy.
I'm trying to cram a lot of information into 1500 words. So I have simply some things, I know. Hopefully I can do a book on this subject and expand on every thing properly.
Err, so I have simplified some things, I meant to say.
Editing error, since corrected.
All the more reason to neuter this administrations last 3 years in office by voting for representatives who will uphold our Constitution this coming November. We do not have the luxury of being politically lazy anymore.
Brilliant James
Looking forward to graduation next week..But the learning never stops
Thanks for all you've done so far…
Thanks, I appreciate it.
luvntheBIGsites: I agree, the message is more important. I hate it when elitists deride those on the right as hicks who can't think, talk, or write coherently. That said, let's not prove them right…
It seems to me that the progressives have become impatient by coming out of their closets in such an open, bold manner. Will they abandon their evolutionary, deceptive methods in the face of reinvigorated opposition and resort to their true nature of violent revolution ala Bill Ayers?
I'm guessing that James will teach us about the Hegelian Dialectic next time. This is the method that they have used successfully to tear down old thoughts and establish new ones.
See how they do this in the public schools by reading Public Education Against America
So true!
That's why, when leftists take over a country, they often execute the intellectuals. Even though many "intellectuals" are often on their side, they can't be trusted because anyone who betrays their own can do it again.
Gramsci also proposed the "long march through the institutions." Recognizing revolution in the old sense was difficult and dangerous, and many societies were unlikely to vote in open communists, he proposed that communists concentrate on getting into government bureaucracies, the media, and academia. Eventually they would control not only the actions of the people beyond the powers of the politicians (Washington bureaucrats are essentially permanent, persisting through administration after administration), their sources of information, and even the thinking processes they would be taught.
In my opinion, it is this long and successful process, that began back in the 40s, that has led us to where we are today and why it will be so appallingly difficult to move back towards constitutionality. How to we cut the cancer out of these systems? We can't "vote the bums out" when it comes to the EPA (now openly subverting the powers of Congress) or Berkeley.
Admittedly, the recent internet "radiation treatment" of the media has had some effect…..
The link under the Frankfort School group photo, with the words "critical theory," leads to a youtube video post by someone using the name "JFKKilledByMossad." Clicking through this individuals name leads to a page where it is made apparent this individual believes the delusion that 9/11 was a "Zionist job."
Surely, another source for this video is available.
That's an interesting point. Essentially, they become too smart for their own good.

well, steven, since you know so much, why don't YOU explain it. We have our sources, you have yours. Show us your documented thought process.
If you don't, you have no thought process, and are nothing more than a waste of skin. Donate your organs to a catholic hospital. That way an American can at least get a liberal lung, or maybe a progressive heart, possibly even a marxist eyeball. We won't hold it against the host. Really we won't.
Thank you for your clarification and response. I must agree with you. However, let me also clarify something in regards to Roosevelt. Those attacks on business were due to corruption and really no sense of fair play or decency. It was those same businesses that caused the rise of unions. Too bad unions have now become what they feared.
You are correct the road to hell is paved with good intentions, at least when it comes to most people. Let us hope and seek not to suffer from the same problem.
Keep writing! I enjoy it tremendously.
That is incorrect, and one need only to read the writings of Roosevelt himself to see otherwise. Teddy was first and foremost anti corruption.
I totally agree with that statement, and yet I hesitate to call him evil as well. He really did epitomize the road to hell is paved with good intentions.
We are a nation of extremes that always falls for the 'more is better', and it is every aspect of American life, not just politics.
Probably, I was just looking for a good clip. I'm sure there are others using the same film.
Again, because of space limitations I had to simply matters. I understand that Capitalism, unfettered, is like the game of monopoly. I'm not opposed to some regulation to prevent unfair or criminal business practices. But Roosevelt did some crazed things like that Coca-Cola witch hunt which is very much like the kind of insanity we see today. Governments use these anti-businesses schemes to soak rich companies. They are trying to do it with Energy and of course, health care.
Anyway, glad you're enjoying it.
You have a valid point.
Not to bee a pane but can u understand wat i'm sayin hear?
(sorry i had too)
FDR was president for twelve years, one month, and eight days. No other president did more to undermine the US than he did with his New Deal crapola. It set the stage for Johnson's Great Society and Obama's United States Socialist Republic gambit.
The US would still be a perfectly fine place if only FDR had never lived… or the polio had killed him.
In a famous quote — apparently unknown (amonst so many unknowns) to the American Right : It was once said that fascism in the U.S. will appear as ANTI-FASCISM (due to the American war against fascism that was WWII, in the American mainstream consciousness). Lo and behold: the Breitbarts, the Jonah Goldbergs, et al. NEW AMERICAN FASCISTS.
What in beejeezus are you prattling on about?
Thank you for your well-presented, historical perspective – aka "know the enemy". I will be passing this one along.
Very interesting. Thanks for writing this piece that, sadly, we never heard about in high school and or college. Better late than not at all.
Jonah Goldberg has clearly identified who the true fascists are, and no amount of "I am rubber you are glue" childish sniping is going to change that.
FDR, that icon of the progressive movement gave us, or, tried to give us the so called second bill of rights…
The right to a useful and remunerative job in the industries or shops or farms or mines of the nation;
The right to earn enough to provide adequate food and clothing and recreation;
The right of every farmer to raise and sell his products at a return which will give him and his family a decent living;
The right of every businessman, large and small, to trade in an atmosphere of freedom from unfair competition and domination by monopolies at home or abroad;
The right of every family to a decent home;
The right to adequate medical care and the opportunity to achieve and enjoy good health;
The right to adequate protection from the economic fears of old age, sickness, accident, and unemployment;
The right to a good education.
Now…what could be more constitutional than that?
In fact these are constitutional rights, taken right out the USSR constitution from 1935…
I left out several people, those stated were the first to pop in my head, there are literally hundreds… You are correct that TR, FDR BHO have grabbed more headlines than some but to infer this poster got it from Becks chalkboard is off base. I'm screwy of my own accord… (no offense to Beck).
As a political science major in the early seventies I was introduced to most of this material over a period of time. My professors were old school, and some had personal experience with the various actors and prewar movements as they rolled over europe and asia. As you may imagine the best of them were shouted down by the more rabid and vapid Boomers; ( and were replaced by them, much to our loss). I am glad to see this being brought back into the public arena. It is important. Don't overlook the Fabian socialist and some of the Club of Rome players, these histories have yet to be written. ETERNAL VIGILANCE ,is the duty of a free people.
No man is above the law and no man is below it: nor do we ask any man's permission when we ask him to obey it.

See, and I thought that laws required the "permission" of the people>
"holding back medicine now"
The devil is in the details of those drugs under scrutiny James. For example, Darvon is a terrible pain reliever that won't be missed. There are numerous options that are better that are not being "held back". It boils down to safety and effectiveness. Which, last I learned was the job of the FDA.
Would your statement about the FDA be considered an accusation of "absolute"?
Nah. Consent of the governed is so last last century.
THOSE WHO BELIEVE THAT THE CONSTITUTION WILL PROTECT US FROM A MARXIST TAKEOVER AND THE DESTRUCTION OF OUR BELOVED AMERICA ARE NAIVE IN THE EXTREME! THEY ARE FOOLING THEMSELVES AND THEY ARE AS DANGEROUS TO OUR FREEDOM AS THE MARXISTS WHO PRESENTLY DOMINATE OUR NATION, IN GOVERNMENT, IN THE FEDERAL BUREAUCRACY, THE FEDERAL JUDICIARY, AND ACADEMIA, WHO CONTROL ALMOST ALL THE MEDIA:THE CONSTITUTION CAN BE PULLED ONE WAY AND ANOTHER, LEFT AND RIGHT, LIKE A RUBBERBAND. ALL IT TAKES IS A MAJORITY ON THE SUPREME COURT TO "INTERPRET" THE CONSTITUTION, AND IT CAN BE ALTERED AT WILL: FIVE UNELECTED JUDGES IN BLACK ROBES CAN SWEEP THE CONSTITUTION INTO THE DUSTBIN WITH A STROKE OF THE PEN. CONSIDER:IF THE RUMOUR OF SUPREME COURT CHIEF JUSTICE ROBERT'S RESIGNATION HAD BEEN TRUE! – HUSSEIN OBAMA COULD HAVE TURNED THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA INTO THE SOVIET STATES OF AMERICA IN HIS FIRST TERM! NO, THE CONSTITUTION IS NO PROTECTION, IT IS AFTER ALL ONLY A DOCUMENT, DEPENDENT ON THE HONESTY AND INTEGRITY OF OUR ELECTED LEADERS FOR ITS STRENGTH AND DURABILITY. ONLY THE AMERICAN PEOPLE, UNITED IN THEIR RESOLVE TO DEFEAT THE MARXISTS IN OUR MIDST, CAN SAVE AMERICA!
Good Post 1redcent. I agree. TR was in a rather interesting situation which prompted him to have to put accountability into companies and their products. I am a capitalist. However, during TR's time, monopolies and corrupt business practices put a large chink into competitive business practices. For whomever did not know, the Feds came down on Coca-Cola because their product contained trace amounts of cocaine, which created a dependency among it's customers (hence the name "Coca"). Another famous product that was wildly popular for a short time, was a wine, which was also laced with cocaine. This mostly forgotten (even its name by me) product was a favorite of many a celebrity and politician alike. The reason was the cocaine it contained (at the time, a legal but much unknown product, bought over-the-counter). Another good example of business practice gone wrong, is Thomas Edison and his inability to keep from stealing other peoples inventions and claiming them as his own. He was notorious for squelching anyone who tried to compete with him in any market he was associated with, the majority of the time in rather nefarious ways.
I'm not saying that TR was an angel, by any means, but I do see your point.

"Even though it was white people coming up with these schemes, race is only seen as a political tool."
If Jews are counted as being white.
I don't think we've got the time left to reverse this at the ballot box. The reset button may just be a trigger. Hope not.
Your series has been the single most accurate piece of journalism, in sum, at the core of who-what-where-why-how USA currently stands. Your series is critically needed to be placed into mass-distribution, ASAP, the predominate majority are clueless.
By the way, you should consider another job, you are in a class far above Breitbart. Thank for your work.
He's exactly right; the fascists (Progressive), like Obama, Hillary, and so forth, decry Fascism, and all sorts of Progressives (fascists) call George Bush and Dick Cheney, Breitbart, Limbaugh, Jonah, and so forth names like "Hitler," the most identifiable fascist. Of course, none of those people are fascist at all, in fact they have actively fought fascism.
So, the anti-fascists are derided as fascists by the fascists. Gee, couldn't have seen that one coming, huh?
I think that Mark Levin has hit the nail on the head. The true evil has a name that describes the group to a T, and it is "statist." Personally, I think that this is the term to use primarily, taking plenty of opportunities to also explain that statists go by many names (like Communists, Progressives, Liberals, Fascists, Socialists), but that they are all Statist, and their ideologies all lead to the inevitable loss of the thing that we must hold most dear: Liberty.
Jewish.
right. teddy roosevelt was a fascist. sure.
in truth, teddy saw the government handing out public land and wealth to private companies that had grown too big to fail, or at least to have any real competition. he saw a wealthy, feudal class lording over increasingly impoverished workers. he protected the land, he broke the trusts and government-backed monopolies, and he worked the create the very sort of thriving middle class that makes an economy prosper for everyone.
funny thing is that the good old days so many long for came when progressivism, unions and real competition were at their height.
sad to see the gop decide teddy was a communist. next they'll say lincoln shouldn't have free the slave. (of course, ron paul and his pals already say that.)
An example of how multiculturalism is destroying Britain from http://barenakedislam.wordpress.com/2010/03/08/uk...
The Labour councillor in the controversial borough of Tower Hamlets—named in a Channel 4 Dispatches documentary last week as a centre of Islamic fundamentalism—is considered one of the area’s most progressive politicians. She has been bombarded with anonymous calls and even followed home. At first “too embarrassed” to call the police, but when the threats targeted her family she decided to act…
…following the calls, she started wearing more loose-fitting traditional Asian clothes and glasses.
an interesting and unfortunate coincidence, given that you're calling teddy roosevelt a wacko and a commie.
teddy didn't call business evil; he did think it was bad to allow business to coopt government, kill competition and create trusts and monopolies that killed any sense of a free market. the businesses he went after were the 'too big to fail' blackmailers of his day.
interesting analogy, since many of the businesses teddy went after had create situations where they owned workers' towns, sold them goods, rented them lodging — and workers 'owed their souls to the company store.' that was feudalism.
Trouble with your theory is I didn't call him a communist or a fascist. If you really read the article you'd know that. He merely started the process of government getting more intrusive in the private sector.
Enjoying this series immensely, thank you for taking the time to write it. I share each installment on my facebook page.

David Horowitz covered that in one of his books, the Rockefeller Dynasty one I believe, he said that the communists have taken over all the jobs that are not elected in the various departments.
Very enlightening Mister Hudnall, looking forward to next weeks conclusion.
It looks like there are chinks appearing in the BG's apparatus however, the CFR's main cheerleader himself is saying so:

"The New World Order is an artifact of the 1980s and it looks back rather than ahead. It was built for the Trilateral world, at a time when the business and political elites of the United States, western Europe and Japan pretty much spoke for the effective political world. There were many differences among these powers and their interests, but on the whole the idea of an international system that reflected their core ideas and served their interests made a certain amount of sense. The core vision behind the New World Order was a shared conviction that the world was changing, and that Japan, Europe and the United States were in a long-term process of decline. The hope was that by establishing a set of ground rules for the international system, the values and interests of the Trilateral powers could be ‘grandfathered’ into international life. The rising powers would buy into the system and the interests of the old powers would be protected even as power shifted.
That was the plan; it’s beginning to look as if it has failed. Japan and Europe are fading too quickly, and the new powers are rising too fast. The Trilateral coalition can no longer shape the world and the United States — as we saw in Copenhagen — has to reorient its policy away from the old powers and towards the new ones."
Yep. There is also the law of unintended consequences. Those who want to destroy western civilization did not realize they were opening the door to those who also wanted to it it for their own benefit, the radical islamists. By Western culture, they created a vacuum they intended to fill, not realizing others would try to beat them to it.
