The Left accusing James O’Keefe of being racist against blacks is the equivalent of accusing Oskar Schindler of being racist against Jews.
Before O’Keefe became famous throughout the world for his undercover sting of ACORN, he was celebrated in the pro-life world for his undercover sting of Planned Parenthood in 2008, exposing it as the racist organization it was founded to be by eugenicist Margaret Sanger.
The sting was simple. The UCLA pro-life student group LifeAction.org had O’Keefe call several Planned Parenthoods around the country with the following pitch: O’Keefe said he would like to donate money, but only if Planned Parenthood would earmark it specifically to abort black babies, to “lower the number of blacks in America.”
No Planned Parenthood employee balked at or denied O’Keefe’s request. One even expressed excitement:
All right. Excuse my hesitation, this is the first time I’ve had a donor call and make this kind of request, so I’m excited, and want to make sure I don’t leave anything out.
But don’t take my word for it. Hear for yourself.
O’Keefe got the same response over and over, from Idaho, to Ohio, to Oklahoma, to New Mexico…
In all, racist Planned Parenthoods in seven states took O’Keefe’s bait. His investigation scandalized Planned Parenthood, resulted in multiple news stories, firings, and investigations.
O’Keefe’s investigation aided in our effort to expose the abortion industry as racist, with blacks as a primary target. While African-Americans comprise only 12% of the population, they account for 35% of all abortions, at least 1,400 every day.
I’m confident James O’Keefe has demonstrated more concern for the welfare of African-American children than any of the idiots accusing him of racism.

I think we have to be slightly more fair to Sanger – oh, don't get me wrong, she was a racist… but hers was a mixed up kind of 'benevolence' that reasoned lowering the "negro population" would raise the status of the remaining blacks somehow…
A slight ammendum, but good work by O'Keefe showing this attitude of race-based abortion promotion is alive and well within her organization.
I could never understand how Margaret Sanger's legacy known as Planned Parenthood has never hit the high notes of black enablers such as Jackson, Sharpton and their ilk. And even when James exposed this willingness to oblige his wishes (for his donation to be specifically for abortion of black fetuses), the tables get turned against him. How long will it take and how big must the 2×4 across the face be in order for the black community to recognize the legacy of Sanger's Planned Parenthood is fueled in racism and the extermination of blacks?

We live in an upside world. The left tells that we are racist as they go about killing thousands of black babies. They support the criminals and go after the O'Keefe's who are trying to show us the corruption in our government. We hear how smart our president is, yet he needs his teleprompter to speak to a 6th grade classroom, it's crazy time!
While i commend O’Keefe's effort, did he do the same for white only babies? Asian? Native American? The problem here is that you try to extrapolate from too few points.
As horrendous as it is, abortion should be the private choice between a woman and her doctor, nothing more.
To be fair, they kill babies rather indiscriminately–they'll never refuse a white girl who can pay the fee. It's a soft racism, like affirmative action.
I still havn't heard Mary Landrieu go on record to say that her phone system was not "turned off" or reduced in some way during the Health Care debate.

O'Keefe called planned parenthood with such gust proclaiming, "I'll make a donation if you promise to abort black babies." The volunteers were willing to accept donations knowing that the donations would go to women with their right to choice. They didn't care what the racist donator was saying in words. They were supporting the women who were making their choice.

I heartily applaud Mr O’Keefe’s ACORN work, as it exposed a truly corrupt outfit. However, it seems to me that this case might have an alternative explanation, and requires more investigation for a conclusion to be firmly established. I find it implausible that an organization like PP, or any other purported health care provider, would actually earmark funds for such a narrowly-defined, specialized purpose not already addressed in their budget. I think it’s possible that the donation-taker was simply "agreeing" to whatever a potential donor seemed to want to hear. I’d like to know what would have happened had someone called asking that his money be earmarked to abort *white* babies. If the response were the same, then I think that destroys the conclusion drawn here. It might also be interesting if examine their charter and/or any public budget info to see if such earmarking is policy. Until more evidence is gathered, a conclusion at this stage is not logically warranted.

My remarks were aimed at the idea that what the donation-takers said was *sufficient* evidence to conclude that the PP is pro-eugenics in its policies. I just feel that if one is going to accuse someone of something that heinous, then one must build and present evidence more carefully than has been done here so far. Further investigation may well prove the point, but until then, I can't agree with that conclusion. I just think that in this case a "control group" was in order. Just sayin'…

Ok, so here's a story for you. My best friend was in the middle of a divorce from her husband who she had one child with because he was caught using drugs. He had lost his job, the house, etc. She was a house wife up to that point. Within weeks of moving into an apartment with no family in town, she finds out she's pregnant with her soon to be ex's child. She has NO money and no job, with a 2 year old son. She decided to get an abortion at approx 5 weeks. Her son is 10 now and hasn't seen his dad since he was 5 and before that, he hadn't seen him since he was 2. No child support is paid and my friend is living without welfare but paycheck to paycheck barely making it. She says that she doesn't regret her decision because otherwise she'd have two suffering children and she couldn't live with herself knowing what was going to happen. If people don't want others to have abortions, child molesters and dead beat dads need not exist. Also, there should be no kids in foster care or adoption centers waiting hopelessly. Instead of criticizing others, people should go adopt a child.
