One must at least credit NBC’s Chuck Todd with one virtue. He is utterly transparent.
When real “journalist” Todd – Chief White House Correspondent for NBC News and the co-hose of The Daily Rundown — gave this impish put down of what he calls, “Drudge-Driven Journalism,” his resentment, fear and school-boy petulance could not have been clearer to any sentient observer.
Such a pity, really. A grown man reduced to whining in front of the White House makes his viewers so embarrassed for him that it’s painful to watch. He should have saved all that peevish poppycock for Al Gore, the inventor of the internet. For, in reality, the saving grace of journalism today – the only thing that gives these leftist buffoons in the MSM even a tiny shred of credibility – is the internet’s check and balance on their politically driven narratives.
Their animus is usually aimed at the Drudge Report because of the number of hits. It’s Drudge’s numbers that drive the most powerful wedge between these MSM indoctrinated monkeys parading as journalists and their monopoly on the “truth.” And all it takes is a single flashback to know why all the hacks associated with the once-august MSM fear “Drudge-Driven Journalism” – down to their quaking toes in their manure-muddied Gucci’s.
Flashback: Dan Rather, 60 Minutes Wednesday, September 8, 2004.
This was the program, later dubbed “Rathergate,” in which Dan Rather ignominiously lit the match that started the fire that ended his long career. It was a mere two months before the presidential election, in which military service records played a huge part Only three years since 9/11, and only one year following the invasion of Iraq, voters’ minds were clearly focused on national security issues. The Democrats had nominated a man, John Kerry, who was like George W. Bush a Vietnam-era veteran, although Kerry had actually spent 16 whole weeks in Vietnam before invaliding himself out of the line of fire by claiming his third Purple Heart.
The Bush-disparaging documents, which Dan Rather hailed as “authenticated” were not, in fact, authentic. It is undeniable that if it had not been for conscientious sleuthing on the part of bloggers – most notably Charles Johnson on Little Green Footballs and Power Line, not to mention the driving of the story by Drudge, the American public might very well have been completely bamboozled by CBS on this most sensitive issue of that presidential campaign.
Now, it’s not at all difficult to imagine why liberal partisans in the MSM were quiteeager to disparage (evidently at any cost) the military service record of President George W. Bush. John Kerry, the Democratic nominee, had been the subject of a most unflattering book, Unfit for Command: Swift Boat Veterans Speak out against John Kerry, written by John O’Neill and published in August, just a month after Kerry’s nomination. John Kerry had followed the national security theme of the Democratic convention by accepting his nomination with the now infamous line: “I’m John Kerry and I’m reporting for duty.”
It didn’t take a genius or even much of a sleuth to see through the hypocritical nature of John Kerry’s using his military record to shore up his bid for the presidency. If Kerry was known to Boomer voters outside his own state, it was only in connection to his flamboyant antics as a Vietnam anti-war spokesman and organizer for the Vietnam Veterans Against the War. Kerry was remembered, not for his service to his country in Vietnam, but for his activities as a war protestor and his completely unsubstantiated claims before Congress of “war crimes” and “atrocities” committed by U.S. servicemen in Vietnam.
Kerry had returned from the war to become one of its most vociferous critics. He participated in staged political theater, in which he threw away his service medals – or ribbons, or something. Those same medals, including his Silver Star, later found themselves on the walls of his Capitol Hill office, however, and he was forced to admit that the medals he had thrown at the White House in protest in 1971 were, in fact, phonies – not his own. He was also forced to admit that his supposedly emotional and purely spontaneous speech that day had been the work of Robert Kennedy speechwriter, Adam Walinsky, who had also tutored him on how to make the speech appear authentic.
(These details from the book: Stolen Valor: How the Vietnam Generation Was Robbed of its Heroes and its History; p. 135-136)
These were the kind of embarrassing details John Kerry wanted to hide from the American public and they were the details that obviously prompted Dan Rather and his producer, Mary Mapes, to disregard all fundamental journalistic ethics to rush their fake documents to air in front of curious millions only two months before the election.
So, when supposedly real journalists, like Chuck Todd, disparage “Drudge-Driven Journalism,” what they are doing is as transparent as the childish petulance in their demeanors.
The MSM fears bloggers like the plague. From Rathergate to Climategate, bloggers get the truth out.
In reality, bloggers are the only thing standing between the MSM and the complete monopoly of the news by their leftwing ideology.
Such a pity that they’ve been reduced to such a disgraceful lot as Chuck Todd.

Interestingly enough, did any of y'all know that the Government is telling workers and staffers NOT to view the Drudge Report? Talk about violations of the First Ammendment, and Censorship. It is chilling. The story is on Drudge.
Chuck Todd, and the MSM have reason for fear. It is in the air, and is palpable.
If it weren't for Drudge and a host of hard-working and reliable bloggers, Americans would have no credible sources outside the WSJ to determine what in fact is actually occurring in the U. S. as well as the greater world.
Interestingly enough, as soon as I read that, I felt a need to go over to Drudge. This, too, will backfire.
Slightly off topic: anyone see that pic of Pelosi on Drudge? Let's put it this way…she needs a few days off to re-botox. lol
PART II
Why Chuck Todd and the MSM Fear the National Enquirer.
Pity? It is fear of the competition with journalistic integrity; could be a job security issue too. What network does he work for anyway.
Chucky "Doll" Todd epitomizes everything that is wrong and lacking with the tattered remnents of "network news".
Todd is following in the tainted steps of news buffoon Dan "Watermelon Salesman" Blather who, if you looked closely while he was on screen, you could actually see his hatred and disdane for all things conservative.
When "Watermaelon Dan" wasn't not inventing "news" out of whole cloth he spat out the news he disagreeded with. Truly a dispicable old man.
She sure does.
That ol gal is frightening! She would scare small children. I just refuse to think of her without makeup on……..
Becasue John Edwards will soon be old news?
Cowboy, she scares me on many levels.
I actually thought he was going to cry for a second there.
From watching Chuck"U" Todd, I'm seeing and hearing a representive of a bunch, who within a year will be mumbling to anyone that will listen, handwriting on the wall? What wall?…
Their bubble is swelling and ready to blow…
They fear an "organized" and "dedicated" conservative movement in America and they will try to paint us with the "hateful/ violent/racist" hogwash while the left can't hold a protest without somebody throwing a rock or being arrested.
Just take a look at today's SEIU/UFCW sponsored anti AHIP protest in front of the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Washington DC and you'll notice that their people were arrested AGAIN!
All they can do is whine about being entitled to everybody else's "stuff" and break stuff!
On the other hand they complain about verbiage on a few protesters signs but they ignore the fact that the capitol mall was left cleaner than it was found and NOT ONE PERSON GOT ARRESTED!
Reminds me of my experience at a hotel in Steamboat Springs (CO). They had a computer in the lobby for people to use and when I tried to go to the Drudge report to catch up on news, it was blocked by a site filter in the category "hatemonger". Really, really, sad.
Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton, Hell, any Commie Harridan…the left's antidote to Viagra.
I am profoundly grateful every day for the internet.; without it we would be led blindly to the progressive slaughter. I have more trust of sites run by people I have never seen or met than the MSM. The MSM has on so many occasions demonstrated for all to see their bias and false journalism. It is sites like Drudge and the Bigs that keep us informed with truth and integrity, I have not watched MSM for news for a long time.
I'll have to disagree with you on this one. I work in the I/T industry and there's a lot of hand wringing on this one with respect to corp. HR policies.
When you work for some one, and are on the clock, you do what you're told do so long as its legal, and fits the job description. And if management decides that does not include Drudge, then it does not include Drudge.
As long as the policy is uniform for all employees, it's perfect legal.
There are many web sites that are deemed inappropriate for work. At IBM the policy was business oriented, which meant we could no porn, no competitors, very bland politics and a little sports. In other words, roughly the equivalent of chatting around the coffee machine. If a topic would not be appropriate to the work place, it's not appropriate on their computers.
I'm not saying it's right or wrong, but its up to the employer.
Agreed.
The media is dead.
Long live the New Alternative Media!
Don't be so sure. The NE is predicting he'll be indicted.
Normally I wouldn't pay attention to the NE, but these days, they have more credibility than ABC, NBC, CBS and the prints put together.
Remember the left's Bush Derangement Syndrome? He drove them absolutely nuts. And Rather is a perfect example of what happens when that goes too far.
In his opinion, the real truth was Bush had to go. Once the decision to try and take Bush down was made, he must have been so pleased with his patriotism and decision to almost single handedly himself, the minor details like good forgeries became lost in the shuffle, as he day dreamt of his place in the hallowed halls of the liberal hall of fame.
I just hope when it does, all of us on the outside of it don't get covered in slime like in MIB.
I wonder what Chuck will do when he’s an unemployed talking head?
Perhaps a male prostitute, he already has his Journalism degree so he’s prepared.
I remember the morning when the Rathergae forgery allegations were first made. I was able to very quickly get a PDF copy of the documents, and within seconds I could tell they were forgeries with no special training in that field. It was patently absurd to suggest that a military typewriter had produced a document in Times Roman font, proportionally spaced at that. I joined in discussions about this fact online. By this point, still early in the morning, it was apparent that Rather was in deep doo doo. It took the MSM quite a while to catch up.
My point: never have so many had so much instantaneous access to information. The MSM needs to come to grips not only with the fact that it has lost its monopoly, but also with the inevitable conclusion that it is quickly becoming as obsolete as the IBM Selectric typewriter that the memos WERE NOT typed on!
Perhaps Safe School Czar Kevin Jennings will turn him out and pimp him. Chuckie has one of those boyish young faces. They could make a bunch of money together.
Drudge needs to pull that picture, it's going to frighten any children who happen to see it and give them nightmares.
And adults.
Good summation. They should have referred to it as: "QWERTY-gate"……….
I would agree with respect to private employers, but only because they are not covered by the First Amendment. We do not have a right to free speech at work, UNLESS we work for the government. If a state or the federal government tells workers that they can read some websites on the clock but not others, they are restricting free speech. If they are doing it on the basis of the content of the speech, the "strict scrutiny" test applies, which nearly always means that the restriction violates the citizen/employee's First Amendment rights.
Thus, a stinking rat Commie professor can say that the 911 victims in the WTC deserved what they got because they are all little Eichmans, and his employer, the State of Colorado, cannot fire him for it. And I agree with that outcome, because that means other government employees cannot be fired for opposing Obamacare and other fascist bills that the man-child is proposing. IMHO.
(chuckling out loud)
When it becomes a neccesity to read the British News agencies to see what is really going on with politics in our Country, ie: the fraud of Climate warming, the open hostility toward President Obama by European leaders, it is now wonder that the MSM is clueless. The end is in sight for MSNBC, when the 3:00am. Red eye on Fox have more viewer than MSNBC at prime viewing time, the end is near. Even though GE owns it, GE is a publically held company and is answerable to the stock holders. Like the scene in Wyatt Earp, when the shot up Earps were leaving town and passed Johnny Ringo……..BYE. But, unlike the movie once the crew on MSNBC is gone they won't be coming back.
I bet if you spill a bucket of water on her, she'll melt!
ED
Better stand clear…It won't be pretty…
The MSM disparage Drudge Report, yet when MSM reporters and journalist are asked where they get their stories, the first source is Drudge.
Todd is incredibly myopic. Not only did MSM fail to address conservative market, they were overtly hostile to us. It is no mystery we read Drudge, Breitbart, … Furthermore he implies Drudge is a smear mechant. What does he think about myriad of racism charges freqently hurled against conservatives? Bork, Gingrich, Clarence Thomas, Ginsburg, Bus
"Unfit for Command: Swift Boat Veterans Speak out against John Kerry, written by John O’Neill"
Minor point but Jerome Corsi co-authored the aforementioned book with John O'Neill. Corsi also wrote the ObamaNation.
I understand your opinion, and agree partially. But I diverge when it comes to staffers. They are ultimately employees. They may be employees of the government, but they are still employees.
The first amendment says Congress shall pass no law abridging free speech, and Congress did not pass a law, an employee was told by an employer, no. And that means no.
I work in internet security – internet access for private intranets and such, so I've been through this issue many times with various managers and such. If some one was doing something they weren't supposed to be doing on the internet, one of my jobs was to report it to higher ups, and dig out the logs proving where they went, and when. Fortunately that was very infrequent. Except for the playboy incident*.
On the bright side, this is not a communist country – yet – and if an employee does not agree with the policy, they are free to tell their employer to kiss their ass and walk out the door.
And I do agree, if there's policies like you mention in your last paragraph, a good lawyer should be able to parley that into at least some sort of settlement. But most employers I know have their own web page as the default home page when they issue a new computer.
* Playboy put out an article in their magazine touting how popular their web site was. They even listed the top 10 traffic sources. Number one was IBM. Lou Gerstner (CEO at the time) was not impressed.
So what we did is we changed DNS entries for playboy.com to a spare server we had, that displayed a web page that said IBM had logged all this unauthorized traffic and it would be forwarded to their manager.
That did the trick.
Another take on this article is; Every time anything liberal goes up against anything Conservative, the liberals lose. Look at talk radio as in Rush v. air America or the Big sites v. the huffington post. The reason is simple. Conservatives speak the truth, use facts, are devoid of the emotional angle and finally, use logic and reason to present their side of the argument. Liberals don't. All that is needed for the proof of this idea is any liberal reply to this comment.
My kids are teenagers and she scares them!
I am going to attempt to make lemonade here out of Pelosi's sour lemons. I am a staunch Conservative, and can not abide what has been going on in our government. However, let me address this PURELY from a technology standpoint.
During December and early January, there was an historic internet attack in this country. The reason it was historic is because it was the first time such a serious attack had been perpetrated against businesses, and then, trickled down to regular folks. Heretofore, these sorts of attacks had mostly been used against GOVERNMENTS.
Of course, you most likely didn’t read about that until later, if at all. Even if you kept your computer updated to the nanosecond, you could not have prevented some of the malfeasance visited upon your computer, private info, etc. – simply by reading a news article or looking at a photo – because a “fix” wasn’t available until later. By then, the perpetrators had released their methods onto the internet, where every crook and hacker could learn their methods. Then, it was a couple of weeks before security “fixes” were designed and released.
bloog bloog bloog
Mention John Kerry to most Vietnam veterans, and you will get the same response: He and Hanoi Jane Fonda should be considered traitors.
Kerry served in Vietnam ????
John Frugtzgerald Kerry is a disgrace to the naval uniform. 4 major awards within 3 months of duty!!
Get the Net !!
Drudge forced the MSM to cover the Monica Lewinsky scandal after he exposed the blue dress story that Newspeak magazine had and tried to stifle. For decades the MSM had the monopoly on what was reported and as important wasn't. Those days are over, and "journalists" like F. Chuck Todd continue to have trouble competing with the internet blogs, as well as conservative talk radio.
What's your point?
The only time your computer systems are 100% safe is when you are not connected to the internet. During my time at Lockheed Missles and Space Co., our intranets were not connected to the internet. You can't hack what you can't connect to.
between that picture and the one i saw the other day of michael moore
i am afraid to go out in the dark
Good grief! What rot. John Kerry sinks his own boat. All John Kerry has to do is speak publicly for five minutes or less. Anybody with a lick of sense can tell he is not even city council leadership-timber, let alone President. John Kerry is Walter Mitty in the flesh. A Kennedy stooge. Ta-pocketa-pocketa-pocketa. Put some ketchup on it.
thank alot.
one more thing i gotta stuff into this grey matter to be concerned about
interesting tho
i am still trying to figure out how he had medals to show around after
he had thrown his over the fence????
News is news, You don't decide on that- you are supposed to report on it. If Drudge is wrong report that! If Keven Jennings is a NAMBLA supporter report that ! If Obama's associates are members of The Socialist party report that!
As a matter of fact if you did your job like a real reporter, unbiased, there would me no Drudge report. Your lack of fairness in reporting gave birth to the Drudge reort. Your vacume was filled- now live with it!
What I always found odd, is the fact that Kerry was awarded 3 Purple Hearts, with out spending any significant time in sick-bay.
As a former Marine Officer and Vietnam Veteran you have to explain to me why you are displaying our flag upended? Are you in distress? Please have the courtesy to those who have served our Nation in combat to display our flag appropriately or explain yourself.
Talk about being biased. I suggest you go and do some real research on Senator John Kerry because the majority of what you write here-except his name is wrong and in some instances nothing more than lies. Senator Kerry is a true war hero and our government backs him up on his bravery and length of service and his well earned medals. Todd may be an idiotic sometimes, but the Drudge Report is idiotic all the time and posts whatever trash it can dig up without verifying any of it.

I saw the video of him tossing his medals over a fence. Hero? Not in my view.
The blogs are out performing the news because they put more effort into it. Rathergate is just one of the instances of LittleGreenFootballs exposing fraud. Like the fauxtography of the Iranians and in the Lebanese summer war.
Yeah, they claim viruses. Which happens to be an outright LIE.
Right you are Cowboy, and it proves once again, that America, is the land of opportunity.
THis absolutely distorts the truth. You say, "The Democrats had nominated a man, John Kerry, who was like George W. Bush a Vietnam-era veteran, although Kerry had actually spent 16 whole weeks in Vietnam before invaliding himself out of the line of fire by claiming his third Purple Heart."
The fact is that Kerry served two tours of duty in the Naval Reserve, one on a nuclear frigate, the other partially in Vietnam and the rest as an aide to a Rear Admiral in Brooklyn. All of his fitness reports were on the web in 2004. They span the entire interval and are all extremely positive. During his time in Vietnam, on a mission with an 80% casualty rate, he was awarded three purple hearts because they were generated when he got medical care – you don't "claim" purple hearts.
What you ignore is that Kerry also received two very prestigious awards. Although the SBVT liars argued they were not deserved, the NAVY said that appropriate procedures were followed. Republican Senator John Warner, even said that he reviewed the silver star and it was well deserved. People can have different opinions about his protesting, but on his service the Navy record is 100% on his side – as are all the men who were on his boat when he earned any of them. The fact is that it was a low point in politics when rich donors out of Texas lied in a Presidential election about the genuine sacrifice of a 25 year old officer, who served when he too could have "had other priorities".
Now, you say that both he and Bush were "vietnam era " veterans", but Bush never went to war and anyone of that generation knew that joining the National Guard kept you out. No one from Bush's unit went. Not to mention – there are gaps in Bush's record. Where Kerry's records are complete and spotless, Bush's have more than a year where he was not there and he lost flying privileges. (A little known fact is that one of the 2 candidates in 2004 was an outstanding pilot, who still had a license – John Kerry.)
Both of there records are still available here – http://news.findlaw.com/legalnews/lit/election200...
As many of you on the right think that Kerry never released his records – he did – and the three newspapers all said the same thing – they were identical to what he had on his website – except for one additional coversheet that Kerry did not have on his last Vietnam fitness report – and on it he was recommended for accelerated promotion.
The fact is he is a war hero. As to his anti-war "antics", it was not "antics', but an act of patriotism. In addition, Walinsky has denied writing any part of Kerry speech. The fact is, from the syntax itself it is easily seen to be similar to Kerry speeches given in recent years – and it is not at all like the speeches written by Walinsky. Kerry did speak to Walinsky, whose advise was to speak from his heart. The fact is that MacNamara, one of the leaders Kerry called out in the speech in the 1990s spoke of knowing that the war could not be won in 1968. When the war ended years later, the terms were exactly what was offered in 1968 – a point where half the men whose names are on the wall were still alive.
As to the medals, The Boston Globe reporter, Tom Oliphant reported at the time that Kerry threw HIS RIBBONS which represented the medals which were in Boston at the time and that he threw medals that others who could not do so asked him to throw. Later, when Kerry was attacked for throwing his medals, he answered about the meaning of the event. Had he said "I didn't throw my medals, I only threw my ribbons", you would have complained that he was making a Clintonesqe point. The fact is that he threw symbols of the awards.
In addi
The progressives were the first to take advantage of the internet. Then the real red-blooded Americans started using it, with the same tactics and the progressives are crying – boo hoo boo hoo.
Unfortunately, the progressives are deeper into the control level of the internet and run many of the major search engines.
Just try searching for that incident with a Supreme Court judge being found disheveled in a Washington, DC park a few years ago. When the story broke, it was all over the net. The last instance of it vanished a few months ago – and it was onlhy the headling – no story.
So the conservatives have a long way to go to regain fundamental control of the internet.
I hope you never tire of being correct.
Great article.
100% on the money !
I will make it short; Kerry is a POS. That sums it up.
In their MSM world, a conservative thinker/voter is a Geico Caveman. They've been getting away with it for a long time.
Chuck…I hope MSNBC fails and closes down for the good of the country.
Absolutely! One particular computer engineering course involves giving the students a designated class time to try to hack into some fairly interesting and important sites. You’d be surprised how many they can breach in a short time.
Microsoft's #1 rule for computer security: There is no such thing as computer security!
Of course, private computers which need to connect to the internet are another matter. It is a bit hard on a computer to turn it off and on excessively. The most important thing is to keep it updated religiously and to have an updated security suite as well.
People also need to be cautious as to where they surf and what they click to open and save. That cool photo or game you’d like to keep can also have spyware or malware built into it – maybe not originally, but after being hacked.
That is why it is important to surf trustworthy sites and have your filters set at least at recommended levels. Also, when a website says it is undergoing routine “maintenance,” get the heck off it until it’s done.
You're welcome. See above comment to LibertyLover.
Where were you stationed in Nam? What years? What unit?
If you weren't, then SHUT UP!
Your lack of unbiased reporting, Mr Todd, created the vacume that Drudge filled-Live with it, and stop crying!!!
The sphere has msm's number, and they know it. There is really good stuff in the sphere, and they fear it. End of story.
The reason why The Fairness Doctrine has languished is because Libs are feverishly trying to morph it so that it also covers DRUDGE and Fox News in addition to that 'evil' thing called talk radio.
Chuck suffers from 'scoop envy'.
Kyle-Anne another excellent article. It's just too bad you have to tell them the true because they can't stand the TRUTH. The MSM have been crawling under rocks for so long they have forgotten what sunlight looks like. They now have the snakes and the snipers complaining. It's really sad that a complete profession has destroyed itself -within. They will NOT and I mean NOT recover.
John (I served in Vietnam) Kerry – don't get me started. As a State Captain for Vets For Freedom and a Vietnam era Veteran, Desert Shield/Desert Storm and Panama veteran Kerry makes me want to jerk a knot in his tail. He was a weak PTO commander, Kerry was a weak veteran and a very weak Senator. Justice was served when he did not get elected. But, I'm afraid we now have too many John (I served in Vietnam) sitting in Washington. God help us all.
Really? "our government backs him up" That's all ya got? I kinda think "our Gubment" is a little low on the cred scale these days…
The report was a fabrication . I would not put it past them to due something like this.
well i see i didnt read the last paragraph
Is your name Kerry by any chance?
CL doesn't need to explain himself to you
If you cant figure it out
tough
I watched in disgust almost thirty years ago when that paper man testified before Congress and I have hated that POS ever since. I did not need a Swift Boater to remind me of his scum status. I wish I believed in a Hell so that I would know I will for being the POS he is.
How the right-wing puke-funnel manufactures news:
1. Rush (or a different talking head) distorts something
2. Drudge repeats it
3. The conservative MSM, all scanning Drudge, put in it print or broadcast it.
4. Rush cites the chatter as evidence he was right, and elaborates further.
5. (Repeat the cycle)
That's not reporting news; that's manufacturing news. It's how our nutty conservative MSM works. Drudge isn't a blog, he's an integral part of the MSM.
Who's in favor of net neutrality? The liberals. Most conservatives want a censored internet (kudos to those few here who don't.). Conservatives seem to know, deep down, that they can't win in a free exchange of ideas, so they have to control this internet thing like they control most of the MSM.
Fear not, conservatives, as there is hope for you. Liberals have jobs and families to occupy them, but most of you aren't so constrained. If each one of you makes long rambling screeds, liberals simply don't have enough hours in the day to respond. Bury them in nonsense and declare victory! That "avalanche o' crap" tactic is the key to conservative victories on the internet.
Very well said and true here as well. From the news clips I seen on the internet I can't imagine having that drivel running all the time. Not to mention the truly idiotic commercials. NO WAY!!
A little history here: remember how the Drudge Report started, and became the conduit for NEWs that it is today. When was it, the MSM "declined" to report the "story of the Blue Dress"? which the Drudge Report propagated ? And what were the effects of that report ? A small bit of inconvenience for the then "Democratic" President, so charming, so delightful, such a sociopath, just like a Kennedy (President because the DNA from which he was cloned, Edward Kennedy, was not electable haning been " caught with his pants down" in the death of Mary Jo Kopechne.) Red State Americans did know the difference between "morality", decency, honour, responsibility and character even then. NOT so in the Blue States, thanks to the education from the cheer -leaders of the NEW Kennedy Royalty and their courtiers in the Major Media, Washington Politics , "elite " educational institutions, where all was fair in their pursuit of power over the lives of those poor ignorant saps in the Red States… Why ARE they called the blue states? Isn' t blue the royal colour? The difference between then and now is that Drudge is a real news agency, as are the Bigs. and Pajama and others on the internet. About time, and only because of the "revolution" of technology which was not so easily corruptible by the "elites" as the "major" journalists who wanted to play with their "big brother"..
[...] » Why Chuck Todd and the MSM Fear the Blogosphere – Big Journalism [...]
A Purple Heart is the least looked- forward-to medal, from what I've heard, because most of whom receive them suffer grave injuries. To my knowledge, Lurch hasn't received any grevious wounds, and was litteraly laughed at by a doctor, when shown one of his wounds, as it barely required a band-aid. Audie Murphy, Jon F'n Kerry, is not.
The reason why is becuase we can exspose them for the LIB's they are……
I too believe MSM is a joke, but the problem is you only accept news as being true when it aligns with your agenda. You too have fallen victim of news propaganda, just the right's version. Now a few points:
Drudge does very little journalism, his site is a news aggregate- stories written by other people who's opinions reflect his opinions.
If you have a problem with MSM then do something about it, whining and calling them buffons doesn't accomplish anything but make you look just as bad .
Calling George W. Bush a Vietnam veteran is a joke, he was a draft dodger that got away because of who his father was.
