When Bart Stupak (D-Mich.) rode in on the proverbial “white horse,” conservatives across the country rose to attention and applauded his authenticity. Americans were astounded by this Democrat who had courage to stand against his own Party. It was truly fascinating. At first there was hope that despite being a Democrat — he would make the right decision, and vote “nay” on Obamacare. In the end — 34 Democrats made that decision, but Rep. Stupak thought he could fix it. He made a deal with President Barack Hussein Obama, the most pro-choice President in American history.
As the predictions said, Obamacare passed, and was signed by the President yesterday. Not only is this an epic, epic failure – this is a history-making failure.
First of all, let’s look at exactly what this deal was: Marjorie Dannenfelser, President of the Susan B Anthony List explained it in her appearance on America Live with Megan Kelly:
It gave me deep sorrow to watch. Congressman Stupak had all the legislative power in his hands to do exactly what he said he wanted to do, which is to undermine, frankly, the Senate position and the President’s position, and put his in legislative language. He had all the power. He gave it away, for a piece of paper that cannot stand legislative, nor judicial muster. And then went on to vote against his own language…
Why would he do this? Is it possible that there may be some *gasp* backroom deal? Oh, of course not. Politicians never do that. Let’s take a look at the man behind the legislator:
Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Bartholomew Thomas Stupak, an Eagle Scout, went on to get his law degree from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1981. He was later elected in 1992 to serve in the First Congressional District of Michigan. He has won re-election eight times.
His constituents put their trust in him — eight times. He let them down, and made a deal with President Obama. Who, I’m sure, had Stupak’s best pro-life interests in mind, right?
The good thing is that America has now seen this bad, bad move on Stupak’s part. Are we going to sit back and let him get away with this? It is my prediction that the Tea Party will fight, in full-force, Rep. Stupak and the other Democrats who voted for Obamacare. They won’t stand for this. We won’t stand for this.
Will the passing of Obamacare be looked upon as a political accomplishment for the Democratic congressmen who voted for it? Not likely. Already two opponents for Representative Stupak have stepped up to the plate, Dan Benishek and a primary challenger, Democrat Connie Saltonstall. And America, we have a lot more where that came from. Patriots ready to stand up and fight when they see politicians who lack integrity running our country .
Patriots, I urge you to stand on alert, get your bullhorns and hand cams ready. This is our fight! Let’s take America back. Congress, we will rock your world.

Now the question is – will his district vote against him in the primaries – but still elect a Democrat into office? Will they elect a moderate Republican? Or, will they – as other districts should – learn from their mistakes and elect a conservative into office.
Times like this bring great patriots to the forefront. Men and women that are just trying to do their jobs, raise their families, take care of their homes and try to grab some time to enjoy this beautiful world we live in, don't usually want to take the ego trip to Washington. These folks are real, they run a business, make a payroll and wipe the snot off their child's nose….not interested in making a big name to go down in history, or implement social justice in the world. But when the time comes and we are pushed against the wall, there are those who take on the task of setting the course back as it should be, because they are able and will make the sacrifice for the correct reasons.
Sadly, Rep. Stupak confirmed that there is no such animal as a pro-life Democrat – at least not one who will put princple before party. Stupak is a lawyer who knows an EO signed by the President does not trump the law and can be withdrawn at any time. He also knows there are intentional loopholes in the legislation that will eventually lead to unrestricted taxpayer funding of elective abortions. Apparently, Democrats think the American people are too stupid to realize that if the EO did what they claim it does, pro-choicers, especially on the far left, would be foaming at the mouth and ripping their hearts out. Instead, they are as quiet as church mice and very content, a state of being we rarely see. Betray us if you must, Rep. Stupak, but don't insult our intelligence.
I seriously doubt much will come of this, maybe after November. But with any luck maybe I will be.

I think it is pretty clear that Stupak took the leadership role of the so called "Pro-Life Democrats" with the intention of betraying that which he pretended to support. This slimeball took the leadership position to prevent someone with real principles becoming an effective leader of a sufficient segment to actually block the bill. That is why he sold out so cheap…he always planned on folding when it counted, and Queen Nancy always knew it. He just didn't want the few no votes having an effective voice…so he became their ineffective voice.

The EO just gives Stupak and others the political cover they need. They can lay it on the president's door during the next election – claiming that they either forced the White House into complying with their wishes (if the EO is held up) or were betrayed by the leadership (if the EO is changed).

Folks, don't be naive enough to fall for Stupak's ruse. He didn't decide last weekend to vote for ObamaCare. He announced last October to a townhall meeting in Cheboygan that he planned to vote for the final bill, even if his amendment failed and the final bill, as a result, tax-funded abortions. Thus, the only question the last five months has been how well he could posture himself to get maximum payoff. But once he announced (five months ago) that he was already planning to vote "aye," no wonder Obama and the Dems ignored him in the crunch.

Pardon me for judging you based on one sentence, but something tells me that anyone who champions taking what one person has and giving it to another, is not someone who feels a strong need to be the one who is actually making the sacrifice. How much do you give to charity? Be honest (with yourself at least). Jesus never admonished the government to take anything away from the rich to give to the poor. He admonished the rich directly to do this, which, by the way, is exactly how is has worked in free societies all along. The "poor" in this country are much fewer and better off for it. Open your eyes.

For Stupak to stand up for life, which does include the 'living' children of the post-partum set, at the expense of his job, safety, position in society at home is admirable. It is heroic. He proves to be "pro-life" and not merely anti-abortion…(OR: Some Republican shill using the pro-life movement to advance votes…then crapping on the babies as soon as the election's over. Like Rush, Gingrich and the RNC did after the contract on America.) I may be a leftie, but I am very anti-abortion; pro gun and pretty damn 10th Adm as well. If half the people in the movement had the guts to stand up against adverse peer pressure that Stupak has…we'd be 1,000 times stronger. Another point I'd like to make on abortion is this: It makes good material to rally, but in the end I'd prefer that girls not get pregnant in the first place. I am making a point…and here is as clear as it gets. Some, not all, are trying to lead the Beck-asian sheep down a path which is both volatile and quite dangerous. In stirring certain emotions on a 'mass' of diverse malcontents one may unhinge a satellite or two–and one of them may heed what they see as a a clarion call to say: Injure or kill a 'baby killer' (say Stupak or his brother's innocent children?) or even a 'Marxist-foreigner' US President.
Of course the 'leaders' would disavow any intent…but they would be guilty as the principals. I don't want to see this happen.
