*sigh* Ray -- let's try this ONE MORE TIME --

The banner signified the successful completion of the USS Abraham Lincoln's deployment. The ship was deployed 290 days ... longer than any other nuclear-powered aircraft carrier in history. The Navy requested the banner as they prepared for their homecoming.

The ship was scheduled to return home January 20, 2003 when they received orders to the Persian Gulf to take part in Operation Iraqi Freedom. This mission extended their time at sea to May 6, 2003. THEIR mission was indeed accomplished.

Meanwhile, back at Commie Central, democrats worried President Bush would use his speech and the dramatic landing for political gain. Thus, the propaganda coup was born. It was quite successful as more than a few republicans/conservatives jumped on the bandwagon to promote the communist propaganda. Thanks for playing.

For all his misguided UN initiative (this on the heels of Wilson's League fiasco), Harry Truman held the line against Stalin and the murderous Mao T'se-tung. Nor did HST set out to subvert American free-enterprise by sabotaging the nation's energy economy, demolish public education, appoint legions of sad-sack partisan hacks to harass and intimidate private citizens by every bad-faith, corrupt, stultifying means available. Those last are Barry-O's glaringly apparent stock-in-trade... by contrast, Bush II for all his strangely feckless domestic policies has left a legacy reminiscent of Harry Truman's decisive patriotism and resolve in international arenas.

By quirk of fate, the U.S. escaped a fatuous Al Gore incumbency in AD 2000 and staved off the explicitly treasonous John Kerry in 2004 (he of the dishonorable discharge, phony medals, whose full-size statue stands in Ho Chi Minh's Museum of the (Viet Cong/Communist) Revolution in Hanoi. Despite his signing McCain/Feingold, pandering to La Raza demagogues, posting trillion-dollar "stimulus" payoffs in October 2008, unbiased historians will yet regard GWB as akin to HST in conviction and determination to safeguard America's interests overseas. After twelve months no-one of any sense denies BHO's ill-concealed Muslim prejudices, racist Black Supremacism, self-evident Maoist sympathies. Most certainly, it will be generations before such a creature of Old Media bias and suppurating distortion rides again.

Bob, Do you research and read my post before responding.

1st, The Patriot Act is MORE than just allowing our agencies to share information.

2nd, Where did I mention WMDs? Why are youarguing about these to me when I never mentioned them?

I believe one simple way of comparing the two is this: I totally believe GWB was a good man who did his best, sure he made mistakes, but he had Americans well being as his main interest. On the other hand BHO is a stuffed suit with ONLY his interests at heart. Defineatly NOT leadership material.
