I'm wondering what all of these laughably transparent Democrat voter/tax fraud-cum-shakedown groups are actually "reforming."
We saw how well ACORN "reformed" things. As in, ACORN spread the corrupt leftist cancer of "social justice" and wealth distribution far and wide throughout inner cities across the country. It "reformed" their once vibrant economies into festering, crime-ridden hellholes, all with Democrats at the helm of those respective governments taking fistfulls of their campaign cash and gleefully accepting their endorsements while demagoguing capitalism, achievement and progress.
No mercy and no quarter for these fraudulent huxters and their endless campaign to "spread the misery around."
Is Bertha still the spokes-model for all things ACORN? If I was the CEO of those shards I'd get into the charter school scam ASAP!
How about an article on how O'Keefe, Giles and Breitbart are lying and manipulating to get headlines. God forbid we let the whole story be told, people might actually form their own opinions.

Thanks for keeping up with the "New ACORN", which is the old ACORN. I wish we could have a couple of books published which reveal ACORN for the political organization it is, its operations, and how it helped create the construction meltdown. It's connections to Obama and other political figures, federal agencies, and big banks like Bank America would be electrifying. As would its plans to take over state governments in Oklahoma and elsewhere.
Just the facts, no purple prose. The ACORN story is scarier than a Stepen King book/movie.
The last thing the left in this country wants are people forming their own opinions. The question you have to ask yourself is why is no one buying the MSM spin on them? The answer is easy, people are beginning to smell the sh1t that the Democrats are shoveling.

They have been investigated. More investigations are ongoing. No criminal charges were handed down. How's that float your boat?
Proof? Breitbart has admitted that O'Keefe wore a suit and tie during interviews with ACORN employees, not the Huggy Bear pimp outfit he pretended to wear, and shot as b-roll. NY Times had to run a retraction about this point. And to this date O'Keefe has never released the unedited tapes, though he won't be able to hide them anymore if he allows the civil litigation against him to go to trial. The irony will be Breitbart having to front the money to O'Keefe in order to reach a settlement with the people he unreasonably attempted to malign and perpetrate character assassination.
The question you have to ask yourself is why are you hanging with Holocaust-danying, Evolution-denying, climate science-denying, Racism-denying flat earthers?

It appears to me that Mr. O'Keefe lied and edited tape to lead people to a false conclusion. I remember him being a pimp outfit (and his female companion in a hooker outfit) in the video I initially saw, and I also remember him having a conversation with an employee of Acorn about importing underage girls for the purposes of prostitution.
The investigating AG stated that the Acorn employee in CA played along with Mr. O'Keefe (who was wearing civilian clothes in one of the deleted bits of the video, not the pimp outfit he claimed he was wearing) told him about his desire to import underage girls to use as prostitutes, but asked him for contact/location info and then called the police immediately afterwards.

I think an important point is being missed here folks. We need to watch as ACORN regroups and reincorporates in our states. There can be only one main reason. 2010 elections! For that reason we need to know if, when, and UNDER WHAT NEW NAME they come back to our voting precincts. They stole one election. They can steal another.
We need to put each of our election boards on NOTICE. We will not tolerate ACORN by any new name, we will challenge voter registration lists, compare them to death and birth rolls, we will challenge ANYTHING fishy at the precinct level with vigor and legal force if necessary. Whatever it takes WE WILL HAVE CLEAN ELECTIONS. Let the winner claim victory….it's the PROCESS we care about. And that process cannot be tainted.
Start NOW. Sign up to work polls…..hey most pay you for the day….get trained and KNOW YOUR JOB. Pay attention and let local election judges know they are going to be scrutinized closely throughout the whole day.
Take a page from ACORNs play book. Get out and find folks who aren't registered or can't drive, get them signed up and either help them request absentee ballots or drive them to the polls.
We have to do more than talk. The reason ACORN was able to steal the election was they were willing to get off their duffs and do the work. If we're only gonna sit and type blogs, we will not get what we want from this election. Get active locally, that's where the judges are, that's where the old cronies hang out…delivering one precinct at a time till the fix is in. And yes it's happened with EVERY administration. Nobody's hands are clean. But the only way to stop it is to get up and act.
My election judges have been closely questioned. I asked them how they assure themselves a voter is who they claim to be. They said here in Tucson they have amassed a databank of SIGNATURES on utility contracts and Driver's license forms. If they have any question….they can pull up copies of the signatures and compare them on the spot. They have the right to deny anyone a ballot if their registration is questionable. They further have instant access to matching address with names, and with the birth and death records for age and status. All these checks help to assure the voter is who they claim to be and legally registered to vote at that polling station.
Each state is different. Call your election office, find out what they are doing to insure clean elections and then use your group power to put at least one person in each polling station to PAY ATTENTION. Even something so simple as an election judge or official who is just too old but nobody wanted to hurt their feelings, so they get to work anyway. One precinct had an 80 year old woman….been working elections for years….but she had no idea how to "clear" the machines after each vote, forgot to do it regularly, was actually found walking around with the official tapes in her hand with no idea what to do with them….so hundreds of votes had to be just tossed out because of her incompetence.
UNACCEPTABLE. If we want clean elections we gonna have to do it ourselves! We can't count on anyone to do it for us. GIT CRACKIN, LOL!

For the record, a number of the ACORN-affiliated organizations you mention here are not part of the ACORN rebranding effort.
For example, Affiliated Media Foundation Movement (a.k.a. AM/FM) and Chief Organizer Fund have existed for years. I have included on my list only verified new ACORN spinoff groups and affiliates that have changed their names (which to date is only one, to wit, ACORN Housing).
I verified the information through my own research including but not limited to interviews with ACORN sources and reports issued by Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.
What they said on tape is not proof of anything other than the fact that a few awkward attempts at sarcasm were cherry-picked and turned into an opportunity for fake outrage. What they said may have been indiscrete, but it was not proof of criminal wrongdoing. Moreover it has been demonstrated that O'Keefe manipulated the videos to suggest that ACORN workers would chat normally with a person dressed like huggy bear. Predominately white media entities showed their insensitivity by running with the story to the point where they had to issue retractions. The pimp outfit was the reason the story had legs, and only after people had been maligned and damage had been done, were honest admissions made about the methods employed. Satisfied?

ACORN comes across to me as a con job, an enterprise that exists solely to scam money from any and every possible source. ACORN has been around a long time and yet lower income neighborhoods have not improved 1 bit. In fact the social, economic and moral decay in minority neighborhoods has been accelerating at an alarming pace right ~ so ACORN obviously is of little or no value or importance toward stopping the spiral of deterioration in minority communites!
I'm no leftist. I believe that ACORN were/are involve in voter registration fraud. That doesn't change the fact that the video was misleading (a con man who calls the cops on a child molester is still a con man, but he isn't a child molester). .
How many persons of color have attained prominent position in either the GOP or within the shadow Tea Party astroturf "movement?" You have a perception problem regarding your attitudes toward minority communities, no matter how much you want to hide your own head in the sand from the glaring truth.
The leading lights of the conservative movement exhibit all those tendencies and more. To fall in line with conservative views unquestioningly, as is the case with 99.9% of the comments any casual observer would find, betrays tacit support for such positions at the very least.
Voter registration irregularities are different than voter fraud. Most conservatives believe that ACORN was guilty of voter fraud, something subsequent investigations have thown to be a completely baseless charge.
My only perception on race is that anyone who disagrees with this President of the USA, for any reason, is automatically branded a racist by the left and their lackeys in the MSM. Can you honestly look at yourself in the mirror, maintain a straight face, and say that this isn't true? That's what I thought.
If ACORN had been affiliated with a broad based Conservative Network and the O'Keefe/Giles tapes had been broadcast for the American people to seeby the left…. Those offices all across the nation would have had Federal agents on their collective door stoups in the middle of that same night with every shred of paperwork, computer equipment, and telephone and bank records seized immediately.
If it were a Republican President in office at the time he would have been perp walked out of the oval office never to see the light of day again! According to a Gallup poll that was released yesterday the percentage of black people involved in the tea party falls just short of the percentage of black people in the general population. If someone actually did investigate what was learned from Giles and O'keefe it could have turned into a good criminal case. WHAT A JOKE to say they were investigated. I speak with 28 years law enforcement experience and have taken on investigations of this sort and I know the politics behind such decisions.
