Everyone knows that Dana Milbank of the Washington Post is a colossally unserious buffoon, a walking, talking, Walter Duranty-like jackass of legendary proportions.
After then-Vice President Dick Cheney accidentally grazed a friend in a very minor hunting accident, Milbank dressed up on MSNBC as a real-life Elmer Fudd, brandishing a dayglo orange hunting cap and vest. He might as well have pulled down his pants and mooned the TV audience.

In a move that no doubt earned him an eternal place in any frozen hell administered in the afterlife by feminazi Gloria Steinem, Milbank also called Hillary Clinton a bitch in a YouTube video.
Now he’s written a piece in which he subtextually insinuates that Glenn Beck is a would-be cop killer.
In his Aug. 1 column in the Washington Post, Milbank borrows opposition “research” from his leftist friends at George Soros’s Media Matters for America. He notes that a man named Byron Williams open fired on California Highway Patrol officers when his plan “to start a revolution” by “killing people of importance at the Tides Foundation and the ACLU” was thwarted.
One of the Media Matters character assassins named Matt Gertz wrote that in the media only Glenn Beck has been talking about the Tides Foundation.
The implication by Gertz, picked up by Milbank, is crystal clear: Glenn Beck is inciting would-be cop killers.
By extension, everyone who has gone on Beck’s show to discuss the Tides Foundation is therefore also somehow a party to attempted murder, or so the logic goes.
According to Gertz’s research, I was the first to let Beck know about the Tides Foundation (on the May 13, 2009 edition of the “Glenn Beck Program”). (Videos here and here.) I am a senior editor at Capital Research Center, a conservative think tank in Washington, D.C. We study the politics of philanthropy with a special focus on left-wing advocacy groups and their funders. We write reports. We’re not in the habit of inciting angry mobs and lone gunmen.
Yet both Media Matters and Milbank are implying that I (and other researchers) contributed to the Byron Williams incident by publicizing research about the Tides Foundation.

This is a classic extremist intimidation tactic not too far removed from leftists’ now out-in-the-open strategy of making false accusations of racism against the Tea Party movement in order to disrupt and discredit it.
I won’t say the jackbooted heel-clickers at Media Matters should be ashamed of themselves –that would be silly because those immoral left-wing hit men have no shame— but Milbank should be ashamed of himself.
He’s should stop pretending to be a journalist and just be honest and get on George Soros’s payroll like all the other left-wing opposition researchers.
Incidentally, the Tides Foundation, essentially a money-laundering outfit for the radical left, almost certainly pays Gertz’s salary. Its head, Drummond Pike, a leftover Communist-loving peacenik from the 1960s, is treasurer of the Democracy Alliance, a group of socialist billionaires who want to destroy America as we know it. Soros and Media Matters founder David Brock are close friends who have collaborated on many projects.
Pike paid off ACORN out of his own pocket to make a million-dollar embezzlement scandal go away. Pike’s close friend is ACORN founder Wade Rathke –a some time Tides board member— who covered up his brother Dale’s embezzlement at ACORN for eight years. When the theft was made public, ACORN threw Wade out on his keister.
The Rathkes had been slowly chipping away at the debt under a restitution agreement but when the embezzlement became front page news in 2008 thanks to the excellent reporting of Stephanie Strom of the New York Times, Pike swooped in to buy up the note in order to protect the identities of his secret donors.
Media Matters has no ethics, so it didn’t bother to disclose the fact that it has taken in at least $7 million from Pike’s Democracy Alliance.
Note to Media Matters: Apparently I was also the first to let Beck know about the Cloward-Piven Strategy. Check it out and discuss amongst yourselves.

The Socialist/Fascist Soros-spiders have weaved a wide wicked web to enmesh America and swallow us whole….
The time is fast approaching where the American people will use mind over matter when it comes to the MSM. WE won't mind because you (MSM) don't matter.
What's amazing is that some American's buy into this bull. To them, one crazy guy is all they need to demonize millions of people, and somehow reconcile all the ridiculous notions floating around in their disturbed minds.
Time to pull out the shop vac……
….we will use the Deluxe Heavy-Duty Dirt Devil (now with Tea Party Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval !) to disturb, displace and defeat these dirty devils….a delightful day's duty…..
There isn't enough money in the world to make me go on television and tell lies about people who try so hard to tell the truth. That is beyond wrong.
Mr. Milbank the day humanity evolves through science, technology, experience, and faith to make it's first instinct be compassion for our fellow man the rule, and not the exception, I will be the first person to melt his guns into an engine block.
FU dana (is that a boys name?) and FU too obamasoros !!!!!!!!
people like Milbank are not journalists…
The comparison between Milbank and Duranty is apt. The only difference would be in sincerity. Milbank is a True Believer, a Kool Aid drinker of the first order. Duranty, on the other hand, never believed in communism himself, but cynically advanced it for his own career reasons, and because of the access it gave him to the Supreme Soviet.
What Milbank is- like Olbermann- is an Agent Provocateur.
They deliberately advance political agendas disguised as news, or information. They also use the classic Alinskyite tactics of attack, ridicule and marginalize. Their only problem?
No one is buying it anymore…
George Soros the Tides Foundation and practically every leftist out there is only concerned with results and since they have no morals or ethics they are free to do whatever is required to obtain the desired results.
This is an uphill battle.
Indoctrination via the corrupt public school system, Hollywood, the music industry and every other pop culture outlet has left the American public unaware of how evil the left really is.
What the Tides Foundation, Dana Milbank and Soros' lefty d-bags want to do here has already been done in China, Cuba, Vietnam, N. Korea and the old Soviet Union. Ask an immigrant from any of those places what life was like in the "Worker's Paradise."
Oh! what a tangled web they've weaved as they practice to deceive…on a daily basis…
This brings to mind of a church that was infested with Brown recluse spiders. After several unsuccesful attempts at extermination, they cut their losses and burned down the church and rebuilt. I wonder if we'll be confronted with a similar decision…..
At least Olbermann's show is considered an "opinion" show. Religiously fanatic Democrats may swear by it, but it's still an opinion show.
Milbank does write columns, but he's also a news reporter. He's advanced several questionable memes on the front page of the Washington Post in that capacity. Nothing he writes should be trusted.
What a hydra and BO is just one of the sock puppets.
Welcome to the party, majiiiic, lol
Been doin that for decades. And since we got CABLE we can VOTE with our CONTROLLER.
DO IT EVERY DAY AND EVERY NIGHT. psssst….make sure you watch any show you want to TANK at least till the first commercial…..the pollsters measure about 15 minutes in and again 45 minutes in.
So yes I turned it on…..I listened for 15 minutes…..and then, DUH…WENT BACK TO FOX or turned my TV off.
Make your VOTE count
)))))))
So in other words, you work for "Philanthropy Matters"?
"I am a senior editor at Capital Research Center, a conservative think in Washington, D.C. We study the politics of philanthropy with a special focus on left-wing advocacy groups and their funds. We write reports. We’re not in the habit of inciting angry mobs and lone gunmen."
Soooo….
In your study of left wing advocay groups have you studied the NBP?
Have you ISSUED any reports about their open call to, how did they put it….
"KILL CRACKERS AND CRACKER BABIES?"
or is that on the "to do" list for the next century?
Right on areaman…lest we forget, Let us continue to track, and publicize the unfolding events in Venezuela..A living example of what happens when the democratic populace votes a man in (Chavez) and now several terms later, can't dump the commie rat bastard !
don't need to study them tex, the right gives me more than enough info to know that they are a bunch of racists. You'd think half of the black population were among their members, the way you reactionary rights drone on and on and on about them.
I hear that, Rose,
And I really think it's just as bad to paint blacks with a broad brush as whites. And pretty useless if it's real knowledge you're after….and I am.
Tell me….I know of one Black organization 21 sumpthin? anyway I read about them here and one other article. They seem to be trying to get a better message out….bucking the NAACP to do it apparently. But these groups are so very quiet, and small or large and not want to speak out…
What's your take? How do folks who really don't consider race one way or the other, just doesn't factor in at all, REACH OUT to these groups. Until people can sit down an talk about issues instead of not being able to make it past someone's skin color….we're cooked.
I believe the majority of people of all races don't "see" racism. But they also don't feel comfortable being the only white at a black meeting or only Hispanic at a white meeting…you know?
How do we get past that to I'm a person, you're a person, let's talk? Many want to but don't know how or who or where. So we don't. We don't hate or reject….I think both sides just don't know how to begin or where. But this nation needs ALL our citizens, not just discreet groups matched by sex or color or politics. It takes everyone to make a country.
what can we do about that?
not really sure tex. I don't like it when blacks form "interest groups" although I understand why they may want to have them. Many blacks still feel marginalized and groups like this help empower them. Unfortunately, it also breeds hatred and resentment. gotta comment in segments cuz this program makes my comments crash…
in a way the tea party is an interest group to for those who feel marginalized. It is a great feeling to have others who feel the same way you do validate your feelings.
they dance on the scimitar's edge between news and opinion…
Yiu are correct about not being trustworthy. It's hard to find those that are…
I know there are many, many blacks who hold a grudge against whitey. My ex bf described it when he was a foreman on a construction site. The hispanics took direction and did what they were instructed. The blacks gave back only attitude as if whitey was trying to enslave them.
I was in NYC ten days ago and I witnessed the same "chip" on a black guy's shoulder. A white guy at the car rental comp. told him I needed a ride. He was rushed, but not rude, imo. The black guy went on and on about the way the white guy spoke to him. If I thought the guy, who I didn't particularly care for, was rude, I would have agreed. He wasn't.
I have seen the devil. His name is Soros. He has unleashed his hordes of unearthly minions upon our fair land! They have arrived from the bowels of malignant, rotting flesh to infest benign, righteous beings. These people have now seen the beast. Let the cleansing begin!
If we can somehow bridge the obstacles that keep us mired in resentment, put the past injustices behind us and move on, it would be a victory for all America. Sadly, too many want to cling to division because it provokes, and that's good for business.
Milbank is a buffoon, and a transparent one. What concerns me is what isn't reported. The vast majority of terrorist acts in this nation are committed by radical environmentalists and animal rights activities, according to DOJ and FBI stats. Yet they seldom are reported because those criminals tend to be left-wing and share the same political philosophy as the old media. It would be very easy to draw a line between statements Al Gore and others have made and acts of environmental and animal rights terrorism. Unlike Milbank's wet dream, it also would be accurate. When Obama demonized BP, threats spiked against the oil company. It is time for us to return fire and point out these outrages, which aren't fantasy but the result of actual incitement.
You touched on one point that IMO is hurting more than it's helping. Discreet interest groups. They may talk about real change, growth, interracial engagement…but they do so in a vacuum. Just like many small Tea Party groups. They gather from many areas of town or the state….but the really don't get out to "other" groups, join or attend "other" meetings, so they sort of reinforce each other rather than changing anything.
The God Squad is the same way. It's all Bible thumpin, which is perfectly fine except they go out among the general public, folks who are religious but not activist, and they sound "extreme" and that tends to make "generalist" folks who have more moderate or less "focused" opinions shy away from them. They aren't bad…most really don't draw hard lines in the sand….but just their obsessive focus on one issue makes them seem unable to discuss the big picture.
That's why I hate these hot button issues like gay marriage, abortion, birthers, truthers….
They are free to espouse anything they want, but right now the larger issue is how can we talk about BIG STUFF together…..like WE'RE GOIN BROKE??? WE'RE SPENDING OUR GRANDKIDS INTO TAX SLAVERY????
We have got to figure out how to INCLUDE people and still tackle issues.
We have got to figure out how to REACH OUT…MEET WITH MINORITY groups instead of an all white group voting not to be racist, and an all black group voting not to be racist…IN SEPARATE ROOMS.
God, I wish someone would figure out how to do that. Mr B tried so hard to INVITE blacks to his Uni-Tea rally. They would not come, did not come, were afraid to come….whatever. Hispanics too.
Until we figure this out….it's gonna blow up over and over to everyone's disadvantage. And it will remain one of the most powerful weapons any side chooses to wield. We'll never get THERE from HERE until we solve this one like we pretty much solved the GENDER GAP problem.
Just a thought but can we at least identify those people who ARE NOT INTERESTED IN GOOD RACE RELATIONS? FIND OUT THEIR MOTIVES?
From there we might figure out a counter measure that would help folks on both sides see through the BS and stop buyin into it.
Obviously NAACP, NBP, WHITE SUPREMISTS, SKINHEADS, are not anyone's friend. But what about League of Women Voters? They are multi racial in most cities aren't they? And churches? Maybe talk to pastors and ministers and see if they could facilitate such gatherings.
worth a shot. nuthin else is workin. sigh
I hear you tex. I wish I had some influence that could help but I, like so many people, feel helpless to do anything.
I realize that my provocation isn't helping. I don't pretend to be trying to educate or make people see their misguided ways. I commend respected community members who speak out and build unity within their sphere of influence. Maybe small steps will lead to better unity among the races. I know we have a long way to go, and as the big problems grow, racial tension increases. It's easy to lash out against others. Race is a visible target.
Why do I get the feeling that Milbank is Olby's fat younger brother?
Never mind that the info on the Tides Foundation is true; just be shocked that there are some people in this country that do not like it.
This is just an attempt by the left to have talk radio silenced and taken off of the air.
Again you hit on a great insight, rose,
It is a VISIBLE AND COMFORTABLE target. I think the economic and Constitutional issues we face are so huge that now is a golden opportunity to be INclusive with our words and plans, ENgage, INvite, and when someone wants to play the RACE CARD… IGNORE THEM AND MOVE ON TO ANOTHER TOPIC.
Maybe, like the gender issue, like abortion, like gay marriage, we just have to be willing to not take anyone's bait and keep bringing the focus back to US…TO AMERICA.
It's a long road but bloodless, and non-divisive. And by example, like Dr King, we just keep our eyes on the bigger picture….our nation united and healing and solving problems that affect all races, all genders, all ethnic groups, all economic groups.
For lack of anything more specific, THIS IS SOMETHING WE CAN ALL DO EVERY DAY, EVERYWHERE, ALL THE TIME.
We can do that. We can post threads like this everywhere we see the Race issue heating up. We can just throw the cool water of American…ism all over it. Because at the end of the day, if we're not all taken care of, not all united in a common goal….then what's the point?
I don't want my freedoms at anyone else's expense. And I'm betting most folks feel the same. We just have to remind everyone when Racism rears it's head….we're Americans first, last, and together.
I can do that
))
tex, I wish more would share your pov. I think we'd all be better off. I hope we can attain what you envison and my cynical outcomes won't come to fruition. I will still hold out hope that you will prevail.
What's wrong with you, NOT AN ENGINE BLOCK!!! , a wind mill or a fuel cell–hydrogen powered of course not one of those natural gas fueled atrocities.
That's the easiest part of all, and the hardest.
What we wish we make real, we make it happen because we refuse to "see" anything else. But that I mean we look at NBP and we want to give back in kind.
Just don't. Just refuse. Smile and say "I wish you well" and move on to someone who's not preaching hate and violence.
That example, like the example of Dr King walking, never trampling, but never bowing, just made folks want to follow.
We create the world we want by refusing to allow the world we're given to exist. We say no, and we fix it. Sometimes silence is the most difficult "answer" a hateful remark can find a hateful response to. It really does speak volumes.
its a zen thang….lol. But it does work.
))
tex, love the zen way. I've used it many times to get through the tedium of life. If we can apply it to uniting all citizens, what a beautiful thang that would be!
Well that's the plan then…..
we just do it and hope..best anyone can do given the situation. Hopefully it will be as infections as hate….cause it takes lots less energy, lol.
So why are liberals, those dedicated to love, brotherhood and companionship, marching in lockstep behind Soros, an admitted Nazi collaborator?
One of the strengths of our federal system of government is that each individual state can act as an experiment in government — many different possibilities can be tried, and the least successful states will become uncompetitive until they reform. Federalism is an application of competitive market principles to government, and it's for this reason that many economic capitalists are also strong supporters of "states' rights". Uniform national-level standards eliminate this competition, and thereby eliminate one of the primary engines of improvement that our founders built into our Constitution.
In truth, I think the Commerce Clause should be drastically scaled back, and that states should be given far more autonomy to make their own laws and compete with each other economically and socially. A huge step towrds this end could be taken by repealing the 17th Amendment and restoring the states' representatives to our national government: the United States Senate. If the power of state governments were more stongly protected, they would have more leeway to experiment with policy without interference from the national level; this in turn would foster competition, and lead to greater productivity, liberty, and happiness for all the citizens of our country.
Repeal the 17th amendment. This will be one way of taking our power back from the political elite of our country.
How cute, the would-be journalist has something to say.
Get bent, you putz.
That, my friend, is the question of the day. Why? Please note that I avoid the term liberal in my musings. The original liberal (a little left of democrat) are legitimate people (at one point in time, until the progressives stole their label) whose intent followed the literal definition of the word. They still exist, however the term liberal, when seized by the progressives, now describes only progressives. The real 'liberals' I would suggest, still have good intentions !! We have to find them a more appropriate name. "The lets work together party "? Lengthy, but you get my point.
Point well taken. In the perfect world (union) it is all valid. But, please review the federalist papers. The intent of the founders was to limit the autonomy, because, as humans, and with enough time (see civil war) we would find 'regional' reasons to secede and become our own individual state (country). If we intend to remain the "United" states, we must deal with the problems, revert to the original intent, act as advanced beings and knock off all this absurd rubbish that we are now being forced to wallow in !!
Good work. In thousands of years we may need engines more than we need guns. Who knows. There is a science fiction story in that if someone wants to write it:)
You send so many mixed messages! How come no comment on Tex's comment regarding Breitbart attempting to rally all races to his uni-tea party event. I find it perplexing only because a lot of your words seem to find no obvious alignment with AB's attempt at bringing people together with his open dialogue blog sites. These sites aren't designed to force people apart, indeed just the opposite! If you brought that level of dialogue to all of your'e responses, ignore the snipes (which you occasionally bring upon yourself). It's easy to ignore the Uber-right on this forum. I do. It's a no win proposition to debate with them!!
You offer no facts whatsoever, just your opinion. This article is about the progressive left and you somehow made it about racism…the standard call when people have no facts or insight to offer.
wow, this guy is a mental car wreck.
c'mon oldpat. tex and I were having a nice convo and you interject with false accusations? I missed where tex was teaching me about Breitbarts racial unity efforts. sorry bout that. I am not aware of these efforts. If providing this forum is what you mean, okay. I haven't really seen it but maybe you can direct me to where I might see it, besides what I read of tex's comments that is.
I'm so sorry I haven't met up to your expectations.
Well it's been fun trying to debate and exchange with you folks. Unfortunately I can't handle the program that crashes every other comment and forces me to rewrite. Too frustrating, but it was fun. Keep up the good fight, try to recognize when it goes bad.
Thank you Obama, for bringing these scuzz buckets out of the woodwork to smash our country and steal our money. Liars. Glenn Beck and bloggers have done more journalistic work than the regular media combined. As Beck uncovers the Marxist scams, CBS, NBC, ABC, WaPo, and NYT hurry to spin and obfuscate. November will come.
Seems like under every rock there is a program linked to Soros. King of control freaks, he tries to hide his agenda through mazes of foundations, think tanks & organizers. How he must despise Beck for lifting up so many rocks and exposing his duplicity!
Another good site to find who's who among socialists is: http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/
"Brought to you by David Horowitz Freedom Center"
You'll find out more than you ever wanted to know about "wide, wicked webs" that are intertwined together to spread evil.
Yeesh, do I need a disclaimer to say I was talking about that creep Milbank?
