A blast from the past, and a warning for the future. There’s some typical KGB boasting here — and remember that, in the end, they lost — but it’s worth watching and paying heed to:
Maybe it’s also time we brought ourselves up to speed on the Soviet illegals program, the results of which are still with us. The Soviets spent a great deal of time and money identifying possible collaborators (whether witting or unwitting) in the homeland of the Principal Enemy — that was their name for the United States — and then gliding the recruits along their support networks of fellow travelers and sympathetic “useful idiots” (especially journalists) through the elite universities and into high governmental positions.
The U.S.S.R. may be gone, but its handiwork lives on, and the struggle for the soul of the West that Marx began in London continues.
Your thoughts welcome here.

Can anyone say 'dems?'
Looks like McCarthy was right after all.
Same as Tom- the left destroyed Joe McCarthy because he was RIGHT about them. Dont forget-EDWIN R MURROWS best friend committed SUICIDE right before the FBI was set to arrest him for being a KGB spy. The democommie party today is not “liberal” or even european socialist. They are hardcore communists, marxists or in some instances even Stalinist or Maoist.
Communism is cool so says academia. I wonder what their thoughts are about Soviet style purges, the intellectuals, the press, the Bourgeois – - sounds like the democrat party…huh?
Mr. Walsh,
Thank you for the topic. I posted that video and topic at biggovernment back in the fall, and people participated and had a lengthy discussion on it. It was informative for a lot of people. I sure hope they participate again here on your thread. Yuri Bezmenov was prophetic. Unfortunatley, most people today don't even know who he was.
I have seen the complete 7 or 8 part video series of Mr. Bezmenov–it is available of You Tube for those interested–but you better keep one important thing in mind. This was produced by the John Birch Society, the same organization which Barry Goldwater, Russell Kirk, and William Buckley Jr. distanced themselves from after they accused Eisenhower of being a communist sympathizer. You can think of them as the Right's answer to Moveon.org or Code Pink, paranoid lunatics living in an alternate universe.
Although, Bezmenov credentials as a KGB propagandist are for real and based of historical accounts his observations have a strong tinge of truth to them. Too bad a legitimate group didn't conduct this interview, it might be received with more legitimacy.
@Mike, it wouldn't matter who produced the interviews. Bezmenov himself says that successful propagandizing would lead the believers to refuse to see the camps of the Gulag if they were taken there to see for themselves.
Obamas white grandparents described themselves as fellow travelers and used to attend "the little red church" in Seattle. Obamas father was kicked out of Kenyan government for backing Odinga and the communists. Hawaii had very lax laws concerning registering births and the result is our current president "red diaper baby" Barack Hussein Obama. Let the purge begin!
There may be a common denominator between the overreach and downfall of both the Birch Society and Joe McCarthy: Misdirection from "trustworthy" associates within their respective camps when they were becoming too effective.
Very interesting piece, Michael. It's interesting to look at the Communist Manifesto's Ten Planks or Points and combine it with the psy-ops that infiltrated America. It's also interesting to look at the places where Communist infiltration took strongest hold.
The bastions of Marxist/Leninist ideals took root in a) academia; b)journalism; c)Hollywood; d)workers/unions; f)Democratic party operatives
If we examine the 10 points, and then we examine this administration's expressed and intended agenda (not to mention any hidden agendas), one can ponder what influence Frank Marshall Davis, William Ayers, Jeremiah Wright, radical professors at college…had on the thought process of a young man searching for answers over the last 35 years.
1. Abolition of property in land and application of all rents of land to public purposes.
Uhder Barney Frank and Chris Dodd's watch, Freddie and Fannie took on junk loans in the trillions of dollars. The books were cooked and an audit unveiled some of the schemes, but the political cronies were protected. Fannie and Freddie owned half the loans…and now…the government owns Fannie and Freddie.
Unfortunately, the sad saga of Fannie and Freddie is not over. Some of their supporters in Congress prefer to blame the Fannie and Freddie mess on deregulation or private market failure, perhaps hoping to use such false diagnoses to lay the groundwork for reviving the GSEs for extra constitutional expenditure and political benefit in the future. As the future of the GSEs is debated over the coming months and years, it will be important to remember how and why Fannie and Freddie failed. The primary policy objective should be to prevent a repeat of this disaster by preventing the restoration of the GSE model.
http://www.aei.org/outlook/28704
2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.
Can anyone say "redistribution"?
3. Abolition of all rights of inheritance.
"Your daddy's 401k and your granddaddy's 401k"…." dear friend and comrade Michael Pfleger captures the sentiment of how "unfair" it is to inherit money. That's why it first needs to be taxed heavily…then eliminated…to make sure of "equality" for all.
4. Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels.
Make those "rebels"…tea party types…who are "bitter clingers" and "homegrown terrorists".
5. Centralization of credit in the banks of the state, by means of a national bank with state capital and an exclusive monopoly.
"… the statute that created TARP, nearly 16 months later, home foreclosures remain at record levels, the TARP foreclosure prevention program has only permanently modified a small fraction of eligible mortgages, and unemployment is the highest it has been in a generation."
"The substantial costs of TARP — in money, moral hazard effects on the market, and Government credibility — will have been for naught if we do nothing to correct the fundamental problems in our financial system and end up in a similar or even greater crisis in two, or five, or ten years’ time. It is hard to see how any of the fundamental problems in the system have been addressed to date".
"Stated another way, even if TARP saved our financial system from driving off a cliff back in 2008, absent meaningful reform, we are still driving on the same winding mountain road, but this time in a faster car."
(TARP Inspector General’s report for this Quarter)
6. Centralization of the means of communication and transport in the hands of the state.
Probably the most potent weapon in the four point arsenal of demoralization, creating instability, and "normalization"…is the entrenched media Durantyfication of facts. IF Stone and Duranty were operatives working as "journalists"…but curently, nearly the whole of the entrenched media are fact distortionists and change, distort, hide the truth from the American people as part of a "mission". Our information stream is diseased with propaganda and outright lies, that it can no longer be trusted.
7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the state; the bringing into cultivation of waste lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan.
If the state takes over the energy industry and promotes a hoax about global warming, hiding the truth from the American people…it can take taxpayer money and send it to the four corners of the globe under the guise of "Mother Earth's protection". It's a money grab, it's redistribution…based upon a sham.
8. Equal obligation of all to work. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture.
Industrial armies…unions…and the best way to advance them…it to force them down people's throats. The union card check bill, would have created an industrial army, once entrenched, that would have been nearly impossible to fend off.
9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of all the distinction between town and country by a more equable distribution of the populace over the country.
Farm subsidies, where folks make money for not growing crops…in the city…for Democratic politicians…is a great boon. The government's hand reaches into agriculture and pulls out a way for urbanites to cash in.
10. Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children's factory labor in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production, etc.
And…if you are willing to become a government comrade after your education…it's even more free. Charter Schools are a no-no. Vouchers are a no-no. Homeschooling is a no-no. The state will set the curriculum, in order to ensure you are taught…precisely what they want you to know…and not know.
"the recruits along their support networks of fellow travelers and sympathetic “useful idiots” (especially journalists)"

" through the elite universities"
Columbia or Harvard?
"and into high governmental positions."
Obama and his czars
OK look, I'm old enough to remember the Reagan years, the Cold War. I can remember as a child actors, and others being investigated and blacklisted as Communists. I remember how the US was the opposite of Communism and aggressively fought against it. So how is it that I wake up one morning and suddenly people are wearing Che and Mao T-shirts, Communism is actually considered as a cool alternative, and the White House has been taken over by Marxists, Communists, Socialists, and the citizens of the US voted them in? Please tell me this is all a bad dream and that I will wake up still living in a great and free nation.
Anti-Americans like Howard Zinn were great examples of "Useful Idiots." Our teachers' unions and college education departments are still filled with such people. And together with the influence of "Progressives," all this has culminated in a president who doesn't believe much in the US Constitution.
Incredible!
Thank you so much for this posting.
Now we know (as if we did not already).
The problem is, I think, that we didn't really win the Cold War, although many people became complacent about it after 1989, and especially after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Thankfully Eastern Europe for the most part threw off Communism, but in the West it has morphed into forms such as "Watermelon politics"–green on the outside and red on the inside.
Marxism should become an ideology that is just as much discredited as people who are Holocaust Deniers. But sadly Marxism still is considered legitimate by many of our "elites."
Call me simple, but ultimately the only thing that defeats the insidiuos influence of the pervasive progressive propaganda is Faith in God, the Author of our Liberty – as the Founders rightly proclaimed.
If we fail to accept the Authority of God, then the State will automatically assume the role of Ultimate Authority.
This has been shown to be true in the Soviet Union, Mao's China, Il-Jong's North Korea, and God Forbid, in a secular, humanistic, progressive America of the ACLU, Planned Parenthood, Code Pink, ACORN, SEIU, NOW, NEA, Move-On, Media Matters, NY Times, MSM, Hollyweird, and the ObamaMessiah.
What church is our President and his family currently attending? Oh, no church, that's right.
Not since Jeremiah "Goddamn America" Wright.
Interesting, isn't it?
You got it 3/4 right–it's Freddie, Fannie, Frank, and Franklin, special interests and spitting and sputtering jokes while the perverts steal our money.
He indicated (in 1985) that the demoralization (as in, removal of morals) had been underway for 25 years.
The inability of entire generations to differentiate between the truth and falsehood has never been more apparent than now. I've spoken with self-described Catholics who claim that it doesn't matter what you believe, just so long as you believe in something, because belief in anything is so powerful.
It's total crap.
There are school districts where students are no longer required to learn multiplication, because it is hard, and it is damaging to a student's tender psyche to be told that an answer is wrong.
Another friend of mine, who is presently pursuing a liberal-arts degree, has multiple classes in which he is not assigned a grade, rather a "check."
It's all in the name of homogeneity. Handing out grades creates stratification. Saying that something is right (or wrong) creates absolutes. Saying, "just believe in something," creates a false sense of eternal security for everyone.
It is scary when the useful idiots wield so much influence.
At the end of the interview, the former KGB agent noted that when marxism rises, it isn't the leftists that help usher it in who will rise to power, rather the marxists that started the whole process.
Now that the marxists are no more, we have an army of blind leftists who have made the political field ripe for the rise of marxism, but there are no marxists to assume power.
I think this helps explain the sudden, dramatic implosion of the political left here the United States.
The Public Schools are the key to this whole mess we've found ourselves in….This is where the "brainwashing education" takes place…When you have a chance to vote FOR vouchers next time, make sure you do…In the meantime, keep them home …We will have a better country as a result..
Ah, yes!! The Soviet Union…I remember it well!! The equality of poverty and the massive underemployment!!
Maybe that's why Obama and friends are so intent on recreating "The Workers' Paradise" here??!!
John Birchers and other hard right types aside, take a look at Wikipedia's page on "Active Measures" here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Active_measures
Wikipedia is not known for being a right-wing den of conspirators. To the contrary, the editors tend to lean left and often cherry-pick information posted by conservatives to neuter them. That said, the info at the above link should give all pause.
Keep pushing back. Keep alive the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Keep exercising your rights. VOTE at every opportunity for sensible candidates whose eyes are open. Push back against the "new normal" so many libertines and ignorant epicureans (from the philosophical school of epicureanism) keep trying to foist upon us, the creed of no accountability and responsibility.
Speak up! Challenge "conventional wisdom." Prevent the left from stigmatizing anyone who chooses to disagree with them.
The merry-go-round of oppression continues to spin while the willing spinners never see the bus coming!! Many are starting to wake up to realize that what seems to be spinning out of control to the casual observer it is exactly what the architects have planned, when it's axis is broken, they will seize control of the situation!
KGB means Committee(Department) for Homeland Security – we have one here too – wasn't it creepy when Obama ordered the high value detainees to be interrogated not by CIA, but by the American KGB. President himself now has the power to say who is high value and who is not – just like the Soviets. Creepy! Tomorrow Obama may start deciding to interrogate all kinds of enemies of the people in his KGB
Zinn? Howard Zinn? Are you still listening?
Oops, nope. Dead. Muerta. History. Pushing up red carnations.
I wonder what Zinn's KGB "handle" was? "Usefull Idiot #1" ?
How about having the government take over General Motors and then have the transportation secy. tell us to stop driving Toyotas?
Howard Zinn is small potatoes in this war.compared to the army of Unionized school teachers spouting the leftist propaganda to the young every day of the week……any counter measures taken later seem to fall on deaf brainwashed ears…
This will be a 100 year war, if we start now..
Thumbs way up on that…
Home school, vouchers, competition, Golden Rule Capitalism, and 10 Commandants ( as opposed to an organized religion)…Just some of the answers…
Thanks Mr. Walsh. I'm ready to puke.
How long is it going to take to extricate ZInn Disease from our country?
Well this should explain to all you Hillary Democrats why she was treated so poorly by the Obama people, She was seen as a useful Idiot whose time was done and they no longer needed her and by making her the Secretary of State they have shut her up as far as the Obama Administration goes. Get the Picture? Remember they called the Clintons racist.
G. Edward Griffin, the interviewer, is like a cross of truth to the neocon vampires – I hope AB doesn't take away your privileges for posting this, Walsh. Read "The Creature from Jekyll Island."
The 7 videos from his lecture in 1984 on "Subversion" are classics. [ http://www.youtube.com/user/hermitcleric#p/c/F586...
They were taped in 1984-85. Spend an hour watching them and you will be amazed. Compare what Bezmonov said then with what's happening today. Anything you can watch by this former KBG agent is pure gold.
Not White – a Jew.
Ellie,
Don't be surprised when bloggers hit the short list of subversives, and enemies of the state……….
Well Arthur.
Where have you been? You haven't been interacting much, of late. I see your posts keep getting yanked. I do not like most of your material, although I agree with some of your points. Nonetheless, I disagree with them censoring your posts. It is un Patriotic, and un American of them. You have a right to make a fool out of yourself in public, just as much as your pard Dhasselfoff does.
It is, for a fact. Most people do not even recognize his name.
You guys are out of touch with reality, big-time. Communism? Marxism? For pete's sake, Obama won't even go to the mat for single-payer health care! Oh, but that evidence doesn't fit the pre-defined narrative here, so you disregard it. It seems like people in this forum need a villain to hate.
The real knock on Obama is that he is actually trying to be bipartisan with people who will never approve of him no matter how watered down his "progressive" ideas are. And as Grover Norquist so eloquently put it, "bipartisanship is another name for date rape". No matter how much Obama compromises with the right, no matter how middle-of-the road and milquetoast he lets his proposals become, there are some that will still equate him with Stalin and Mao.
It is all coming to pass. I would advise everyone to purchase as much amnunition as possible and get ready to fight. We may have no other choice. When they finally see defeat it is not going to be pretty.
Thank you so much for posting this. As a college student in the late '60s/early '70s, I saw the cultural revolution explode around me, and, as a committed Christian, I found myself skeptical. How did this big, grass – sotospeak – roots movement spring up overnight, by itself? How did it happen to spring up by itself at the very time Mr. Kruschev was banging his shoe on a table and promising, "We will bury you!" How did it happen to take the stance against American morality and ethics that Kruschev had promised to take in order to destroy us from the inside, if the "destroy from the outside" didn't work? The msm's painting of this time period as one of "love, peace and innocence" has irritated me no end as I've watched the destruction of America's families, prosperity and faith. Thanks for giving at least one videographic proof that I wasn't insane, just because I saw the great cultural revolution so differently than those in the msm.
It always amazes me how Marxist prophecy failed so miserably within Marxist countries, but continues to be strangely prescient in predicting destructive patterns in Western democracies. That is, we elevate leaders who promise handouts at the expense of someone wealthier, until the economic system implodes. May God and Reason turn us back from our adoration of Good King Barack.
Before we get too hopeless, remember this is a theory…not to become complacent but to realize society does not have to bend to this theory. I don't think there is a society in which the 4 stages have been used to completion. There are many where parts can be recognized, even in the U.S. That said, I do believe it is a danger that we have to be diligent in recognizing and fighting against.
Yes, focus on the Toyota gas pedal. Never mind the rest of the Toyota is superior to any American made car. My wife has a1998 Corolla and loves it. I have a 1999 Olds 88 and it is the best car I have ever owned. One flaw with the Olds is the brake and gas pedal. Many times I have hit the gas and brake at the same time. This is the only car I have ever owned that I fear I will one day rear end another car because the design of the gas and brake pedal being so close. My first car I ever drove was an "A" model Ford. It had rods that went to the brake shoes. If you didn't adjust the rods frequently, your brakes didn't work. I remember once I had to make a sudden stop and it took me about fifty feet to stop going at a breath taking speed of thirty miles an hour.
Government takeover of health care? That would be better than his plan – written by the Insurance Lobby – to force people to buy their product. That is more like fascism.
If you are worried about the perception of nothing being done in Congress then your problem is with the morons (who will be watching the Superbowl, no doubt) who think doing something is a good thing.
Wouldn't saying they have the super-majority yet didn't do this prove they are being bipartisan?
I was in St. Petersburg (Russia) in 1997, and outside the Warshawsky Railroad Terminal was a huge statue of Lenin on top of a very, very high podium. Laying on the front of the podium was a long stemmed red rose. Any questions?
Oh, you are so wise!
He tried to push for the Government take-over of healthcare. He promised you would lose your current insurance but wanted to set up a low rate Government program that would have eventually driven off the insurance companies. The Government can always provide cheaper programs because they don't have to make a profit.
Please, what is so wrong with watching the Superbowl and what do you mean by my "problem is with the morons who think doing something is a good thing?" I have no idea what point you are trying to make.
His base wants a single payer system. The compromises came from within his own party. If it was a bipartisan bill than why can't they pass it with 59 Dems? Why did Scott Brown totally derail it? Why haven't the American people seen what they were ready to pass? The Bill was complete and had gone to the CBO and now it has completely disappeared.
We'll see this Bill again. They'll bring it out in pieces. They need a do-over.
I'm a faithful follower of brother John Birch and a member of the Antion Baptist chuch and I aint even got a garage you can ask my wife.
So the game Obama is playing is that he is proposing initiatives that are not Republican? The nerve of that guy! He won the election, so he gets to set the agenda, that's how it goes. The minority party can either work with the majority to get things done, which means compromise. If the Republicans are not willing to compromise, then they are indeed being obstructionist. We can debate whether they should be proud of it or not, but they do seem to be working from the Rush "I want Obama to fail" playbook.
As far as the govt bailout of auto manufacturers, here's the deal. The decision to save GM and Chrysler was made to prevent the ripple effect their failure would have on the economy of auto industry states and the nation as a whole. The money spent propping up the GM was less than it would have cost to deal with its failure. I'd think you'd be happy about this because it allowed people to keep working and keep them off welfare, which is where they would be if the companies just went belly up. Same with the banks. The difference is, with GM, the government took equity in the company when it infused money, like an "angel investor". The govt put money in, they took equity in the company, and with that equity they got a say in how things get done. With the banks, the government loaned the money, but took no equity. Which is worse? A "government takeover" like with the auto companies, or a just a gift loan with favorable terms and no real leverage? Should the govt have done nothing, let the car companies and banks fail, and then deal with the economic fallout? What was the Tea Party stance on this? I am not being facetious; I'm actually curious on this one.
As far as saying there is no crisis in healthcare, I don't think you can reasonably conclude that. My personal health insurance went up 30% from last year to this, and I know I am not alone. I'm self employed, and if I ever lost my insurance or it got to a point where I could not afford it I'd be in deep doo doo. A year over year price hike of 30% is obviously not sustainable. My case is not unique, by any stretch. Are you saying there should be no action taken on this?
I'm a product of public schools and a public university, and I'm happy with the quality of my education. I have friends who are military medical professionals, and they do a great job. I don't have the same fear of public institutions that some people here seem to. In addition, I think calling it a govt "take over" of health care is an exaggeration. In any plan in Congress, there was plenty of public-private interaction, even when it seemed counter productive and confusing. For example, the govt was specifically disallowed to use its purchasing power to negotiate lower prices for drugs, even though this is a classic free-market solution. Buy in bulk, negotiate a discount. To disallow a corporation to do the same thing would be (rightly) against the law.
As far as the supermajority point (step 5), what would you have the Democrats do? If the Republicans refuse to compromise, then what? Either Dems work with the votes they have or they remain hostage to a minority party. The Republicans are a minority because they lost those elections. They don't get to set the election because the American people voted them out of office. Personally, I think the Dems should do even more of what they want without bipartisanship. It doesn't seem that there is a lot of desire of Congressional Republicans to compromise. Should the Dems just give up and let the Repubs have their way? If the R's had the same advantage I seriously doubt they would offer the accommodation they seem to be expecting.
Are talking about Home schooling, or are you advocating the criminal act of not education your children?
I agree. Such a shame that shooting them is not yet legal. It will be, though, when they finally make the grab.
Very cool desertation! Everything plays out just like a symphony here.
I grew up and was educated in the USSR in the early-mid 80's. We studied the works of Marx, Engels, Lenin and Stalin quite thoroughly.
Circa 1915 V.I. Lenin made 2 historical statements.
First, he proclaimed a major predictor to the ensuing revolution: "The bottom (proletariat) cannot live as before, and the top (the government) does not want to rule in anew".
The second one is even more important. He announced 3 key components to a successful revolution. " …we must capture the banks, the ports, and the telegraph". Translated into modern language: control the finances, the transportation and the media.
Reporting back to you, Comrade Lenin! Mission accomplished!
Do you think Yuri Bezmenov prophetic or did he simply know what the plan was? Even he stated that it has worked better than that planners ever dreamed it would work.
Once again, brilliant…Thanks for "breakin' it down"…
The 5 bastion of Marxist/Leninist thinking and power seem to conveniently form a PENTAGRAM of Evil….Ouch..
Thumbs WTFU on that one Cowboy…Gotta let even the Trolls have their say
………..and you know some good Charlie Daniels songs……….
Both.
He was prophetic, in that he knew what the plan was. He was in the loop, in the know. He knew their modus operandi. I have always admired him. I have watched this unfold through the years, and his predictions were uncanny.
Brilliant interview with the KGB officer. KGB did this all over the world. In Mexico radical leftists harken back to the 1968 Tlatelolco Massacre in which 250 students were shot by police and military. In reality the ranks of student leadership were riddled with hardcore KGB agents. KGB recruited the most militant, smartest agents as a means of pushing the student movement toward more extreme violence. Their goal was to show Mexico to be a seething pot of 3rd world anger just 10 days prior to the start of the 1968 Mexico City Olympics.
The KGB agents responsible for the deaths of 250 of their "useful idiots" or "fellow travelers" only had to get on the next plane back to Moscow and then go screw up another country.
I hope the insurance companies do go out of business. They don't provide anything – they skim money from the economy and don't return anything for that. You don't have grocery insurance. The problem is with the system that makes people feel a need to have insurance – the system where everything is priced so high BECAUSE insurance pays for it. AND largely due to the Pharmaceutical industries who are worse than drug pushers on the street (actually, I've never seen one – but seen plenty of ads for "legal" drugs – LEGAL drugs that KILL MORE PEOPLE than the illegal ones!) that have pushed for THEIR solution and ONLY their solution to be acceptable.
Let's say you, through poor diet, had scurvy. Will the doctor tell you to eat an orange? Or will he give you some DRUG? And the FDA is right there to make sure he does just that.
I have no idea what point you are trying to make.
We have too much bad legislation because we have been brainwashed in the West that doing nothing is never the answer. And you have a Congress that measures its own success by how much legislation they pass. How many laws do we need? We could have stopped a long time ago. But they keep piling on.
The compromises came from within his own party.
The game was rigged – the fix was in before the discussion started. Push for single payer then compromise and just HAPPEN to land on a bill that FORCES people to buy INSURANCE – just as the insurance lobbyists wanted.
Why did Scott Brown totally derail it?
He hadn't derailed a thing.

Dear, Socrates. Unfortunately, history is a subjective study. Interpret it as you wish, but the facts remain as facts.
I was lucky enough to be able to see both sides of the Iron Curtain. Take my word for it: it ain't pretty on the other side.
I grew up and was educated in the USSR in the early-mid 80's. We studied the works of Marx, Engels, Lenin and Stalin quite thoroughly. Accuse me of Communism paranoia, if it suites your ideology better, but I prefer to be a paranoid capitalist, rather then an idealistic progressive socialist. See a copy of my previous post below.

The "INTELLECTUALS" under "useless idiot" obama are in charge here but lookin' like they are not long for the world, if I'm readin' the political winds correctly…
Shame November (2012) isn't next month…
How many liars.? How many lies? How many gullible Americans? As a namvet returning home to wisconsin in Jan. 1968, my veterans service officer told me to maintain a low profile and keep my mouth shut.I found out within a month what he was talking about. The commie bastards that were trashing UW Madison and other major universities then, are the same benthic scum trying to bring our country down today. Americans are no longer buying your socialist bullshit agenda. We will remove all who have tried to hood wink us! We are no longer gullible as you shall soon see. We are coming for all of you!
Oh, back in USSR we knew how it was all happening. The information seeped though cracks of KGB bastions, and those of us who were paying attention were analyzing the TV footage and news prints more critically.
Didn't you, guys, in the U.S. know about that?
So, if his facts and bonifides are in order why do you care who put up the money? It seems in hindsight the John Birchers were more in tune with the Constitution that the political parties.
Howard Zinn is just a dead white guy. That ought to be enough for his sycophantic followers to disavow him.
As for Active Measures, it comes across as making sense especially after what we have witnessed in our own country over the past few decades. In fact, I have often wondered whether or not all the unhinged lunacy coming from the far left is actually the brainwashed manchurians having mental malfunctions. They don't know how to react to all the uncovering of their agenda that we have been doing. It is interrupting their brainwashed talking points. Poor dears.
But, the KGB is not stupid. It would be just like them to send that video out with just enough fact and a couple propaganda agitation points to help try to bring about exactly what Active Measures is about. Trust but verify.
Dems.
You bet he was. Read coulter's book among others.
The bottom line is that the Demmunists are completely anti-American in any conceivable way.
Trying to be bipartisan? Are you serious? Look- here is the game President Obama is playing:
Step 1. Put everything on the table all at once knowing full well the Republicans will reject it all because it directly conflicts with their platform, i.e., Government take-over of healthcare, Cap and Trade, Redistribution of wealth, Government take-over of auto manufacturers, Government take-over of financial institutions.
Step 2. Create a non-existent "Crisis" (healthcare reform) or better yet, ignore unemployment numbers and create a very real crisis for the American People. Now, they can't survive without your help and the redistribution of Wealth.
Step 3. Label Republicans the party of "NO". It is their fault nothing is getting accomplished in Congress. Pay no attention to the fact that everything brought up for legislation directly conflicts with the Parties platform.
Step 4. Label the only News Organization that is willing to point out policy problems as "Illegitimate".
Step 5. Do whatever you want because you have a Supermajority…ooops, what was that? No Supermajority anymore? Well, "God didn't create the Supermajority" and there is always the "Nuclear Option"
Open your eyes and get out of the SMOG.
Uh, can you understand the concept of "mid-term elections"? No Dim in their right mind, who values the power they now heft, would dare pass what is in the House. What you are missing, I think, is that the majority of Americans DO NOT WANT a healthcare bill, much less a single payer system. If the bill were any good, it would not have been put together into a 2,ooo + page bible "behind closed doors" and most Americans are aware of that.
In the western hemisphere, Mexico City was the principal station for the KGB's operations against the United States. The Mexico City station was where Lee Harvey Oswald tried to re-defect to the Soviet Union via Cuba in Sept. 1963.
I think it is your type of "understanding" that has gotten California into the trouble it is in right now. Bailout the auto industry was a good thing? Bullshit. They should have let them file for bankruptcy, so that they could renegotiate the union contracts (of course, Obama, who is in the union's pocket, could NOT let that happen). By the way, why also, did Obama not only bail them out, but also ILLEGALLY take from the bondholders and give controlling interest to the UNIONS who are at the heart of the problem?
Socrates, you are not! A Dim, yes, most definitely.
Ann Coulter discusses McCarthy at length in one of her books, he was exactly right in his quest to expose communists in the government. Now our government is awash in communists, they now call themselves Democrats.
Just so folks know, the youtube account who posted this also has a bunch of chemtrail, truther and NWO claptrap up. I wouldn’t go around forwarding it a bunch unless you can find a lnik from someone not crazy.
Transportation gets broken down further. That's why the Progressives are against drilling here for oil, natural gas, coal, and building nuclear plants. Then conveniently start funding for the bullet train across the country.
Mr Walsh…How formal…He's probably half your age… Do you call Rush Mr Limbaugh?? Hope not..
Timshappywife, what you said is factually false at least in a few places.
1) "He tried to push for the Government take-over of healthcare."
Nope, he didn't. He didn't even go close to that. That actually would have been a lot simpler. However, he tried to push for a complicated interweaving of govt, private insurance, private healthcare providers, specifically to win over people who were against single payer! In bending over backwards to compromise, the Dems actually made the bill a lot more complicated, and in my opinion, worse. So Obama didn't even try for the govt takeover of health care. He aimed much much lower. What did it buy him though? Nothing. After compromise after compromise, Repubs still wouldn't go for it.
2) "He promised you would lose your current insurance"
Nope. In fact, Obama promised the exact opposite.
Where you are right however, is when you say "His base wants a single payer system. The compromises came from within his own party." I think Obama's too chickensh!t to actually stand up and go for what his base actually wants. Remember, the public option was very popular in polls, but not so much with the insurance companies.
What I don't understand is why the House just doesn't pass the version of the bill that already passed the Senate? They have the votes and there is no filibuster in the House. As you said, they can tune out the differences in pieces later.
The" criminal non education" is taking place now in the local madrasas…Sound like you spent time in 2-3 over the years…
MMichael I have been a student of Russian history all my life, seeing that Yuri Bezmenov tape again is pretty chilling. It lets me know just how perilously close we are to the utter and complete destruction of the country we a all love.
Wasn't it Rahm Israel Emanuel who said "You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it's an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before. "
God Bless America…
Insurance companies saved my father's life. They allowed my father to get the best medical care at Georgetown University. He was sick for over twenty years with Sclerosing cholangitis and Ulcerative Colitis.
My mom was forced to take jobs depending on what health insurance they provided. She had to quite a job and start a new one when the insurance ran out- after my Dad's liver transplant.
When I was a kid my parents prayed that my father would live long enough to see us graduate from High School. In fact, he lived long enough to hold his first Grandchild.
Insurance worked for my family but, that doesn't mean we didn't have to sacrifice. We never had anything new; furniture, car, clothes, TV. We sacrificed because we had to and I guarantee that the sacrifices we made have been an overwhelming positive influence in my life. I am stronger for it and realize the unimportance of material possessions when compared with what truly matters- life, freedom and the pursuit of happiness.
I cannot guarantee that my father would have had such a chance and lived as long if the Government controlled what health care he received.
Our system needs to be made more efficient. It does not need a total rewrite.
I completely agree with JB, but more importantly in my opionin is to look at this in the context of present day reality…
Furthermore, a discussion about the John Birch Society shows they were right all along about many things…
Nobody was listening when Krushev told us he was going to do this (except Joe McCarthy) 50 years ago. When he tried to warn us, we crucified him. May God forgive us for that. Now, it's payback time. The bill has come due.
The only question that remains is who will line them up against the wall…the Commies or U.S. Patriots? Either way, it's no more than they deserve.
Thanks for saving me the trouble of saying that, bill. Joe McCarthy got the same treatment as John Birch. I'd say they have officially been vindicated. It's time to set aside the PC BS and call a spade a spade.
It's not just the Commies we have to worry about. The CFR and their New World Order agenda are waiting in the wings to see how this all plays out. Remember the quote, "Allow me to control the money and I care not who makes the laws". The CFR intends to take over eventually regardless of who wins this bit of theater.
Touche…
Or they can run off to Canada…Seal the border..Hope for the best..
Wrong again, Fonz. The insurance companies lived up to their promises and more. My father was never denied insurance based on a pre-existing illness and he had available to him the best doctors in the Country.
And if you are thinking that my Mother had one of those Cadillac plans- you would be wrong again. She was a factory worker (non-unionized), and a Hardware Store employee (non-management level).
Without my Mother's insurance plan- it wouldn't have mattered how talented the doctors were- we wouldn't have been able to afford them.
Why would I be thankful to those who pay their premiums and never used them? That is just luck of the draw in life.
Also, Insurance companies are supposed to make profits. That's called good business since- something the Government will never have.
You just like to pick fights, don't you?
In this case, your source of the interview actually increases the credibility of the interview's content.
But beware!
If we hear Obama promoting fiscal responsibility (daily now), we know that it's a misleading statement by him because we now have a record of his actions and we know that he does'nt mean it.
Always consider the source!
but John Birch was accurate in hindsight.
Really? Can you cite me a few examples of when the were correct? Being right about the communist threat is hardly an example since its evils are and were common knowledge. Recognizing there is a threat and dealing with it properly is one thing living under a veil of paranoia and seeing communists under every rock and in every person who disagrees with you is hardly vindication.
In fact the Birchers are not in "harmony" with the constitutional order of our republic. If you think that the Right is incapable of witch hunts or immune to the paranoia that infests the Left you are either out of touch with political thought or completely naive to it. When you are dealing with this much fear and angst like the Birchers display the outcome is never a good one. That is why Bezmenov's message gets lost, because the ones providing the money are a group that Ronald Reagan viewed as kooks.
You wanna know what you are dealing with in the government these days? I highly suggest reading Amity Shlaes recent book, "The Forgotten Man." Chapter two, specifically.
Well.
On occassion I am formal. That compensates for my predisposition to pissing people off. As far as Rush goes, no, I do not call him Mr. I call him "His Eminence"………..
Did insurance companies save his life? Why aren't you ever thankful of those who pay and pay and pay their premiums and never use it.
If anyone saved his life it was the doctors.
If anyone paid for it, it was those paying the premiums.
Insurance just counts their profits and then build ENORMOUS SKYSCRAPERS with the PROFIT which represents the difference between what they receive in premiums and what they PAY. Then they rent out the skyscrapers to make even more money.

This article needs to stay on top of the stack for a long, long time..until it is deciminated far and wide..I've heard the term 'go viral'..this definitely should. Thank you very much..
You are profoundly naive. Obama won't even go to the mat for single-payer health care?
My God, wake up! It would be a flat-out losing proposition. Obama's not going to champion a single-payer system when the far majority of people don't want it and it has zero chance of getting passed. When the push-back against him would be profound and there would be no chance the public or Congress would accept single-payer, well, he'd be an idiot to try and make it happen when the end is a known failure.
You're not in the least bit politically savvy. Marxist Jan Schakowsky was caught on tape in 2009 saying a government run health insurance plan would put private insurance out of business. She said that this in fact was the primary purpose of universal health care legislation.
"I know that many of you here today are single-payer advocates and so am I…This is not a principled fight. This is a fight about strategy for getting there, and I believe we will.
You're much too unsophisticated about politics. It's what goes on out of the spotlight that you need to watch. Legislation, programs, propaganda, etc. are what's used to further the agenda. You work the system from within to change it.
Dems(dims)
Well America You Voted these guys into office didn't you? So why You so surprised? If you really want things to get better then stop talking and writing and do something.
They should have let them file for bankruptcy? THEY DID FILE FOR BANKRUPTCY!
Chrysler made the decision to file for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on May 1, 2009, followed by General Motors a month later. Look it up. Google "GM bankruptcy" if you don't believe me.
So when you wrote of auto companies filing for bankruptcy, "Obama, who is in the union's pocket, could NOT let that happen" you were wrong. It did happen. And you thought it didn't, either because you're uneducated on the subject, or because that fact doesn't fit your predetermined narrative.
Stay humble, because now I am going to educate you how Chapter 11 bankruptcy works:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chapter_11,_Title_11...
"In Chapter 7 the business ceases operations, a trustee sells all of its assets, and then distributes the proceeds to its creditors. Any residual amount is returned to the owners of the company. In Chapter 11, in most instances the debtor remains in control of its business operations as a debtor in possession, and is subject to the oversight and jurisdiction of the court.."
"If the business's debts exceed its assets, the bankruptcy restructuring results in the company's owners being left with nothing; instead, the owners' rights and interests are ended and the company's creditors are left with ownership of the newly reorganized company."
Bondholders getting washed out is actually standard procedure for Chapter 11 proceedings. Furthermore, the US Trustee has jurisdiction to supervise the reorganization of the debtor company.
Was it right for the govt to award the controlling interests to whichever parties in whatever ratio? Who was at the heart of the auto companies' problems: the management? The UAW? Someone else? These questions are certainly debatable. However, what is not debatable is that the US Trustee had the LEGAL right to supervise that reorganization.
So when you said that it was "ILLEGAL" for the government to take from the bondholders and give to the unions, you're just factually and provably wrong. Again. Do a little research about Chapter 11 bankruptcy if you don't believe me.
Seriously, I think you need to look in the mirror and go back to school if you want to debate this stuff. Read a newspaper, do some research. The auto companies did file for bankruptcy, and the US Trustee has the legal right to reorganize the business.
I think it is your type of understanding that has gotten the US into the trouble it is in right now. You remind me of that famous quote by Mark Twain: "It ain't so much what we know that gets us into trouble. It's what we know that just ain't so."
Man, this Comrade Lenin stuff is ridiculous and frankly embarrassing to read. It makes you sound like a paranoid.
Portray me as a radical communist if it suits your ideology, but believing in the utility of American public projects does not make me a communist. I went to public schools, and a public university, and they were good quality. I don't count them as Bolshevik institutions.
In addition don't think the public health care systems in England, France, and Canada made them communist or have made their people less free. On the contrary, I believe that the people in these countries have the freedom to move around in their jobs without worrying about losing their health insurance, or going broke due to illness or injury. And as always, in those countries if you have the money, you can always buy additional care.
I don't worry about the US going communist from a public health care system. I worry about getting sick and not getting proper care. Realistically, which one seems more likely to happen?
The public option was supposed to be the acceptable compromise for people who were against single payer. The far majority of the people actually did want a public option, but it never even made it into the original Senate bill. The knock was that the public option would put the insurance companies out of business, and then we'd all be stuck with govt insurance. How would that happen if private insurance was better?
Basically what I'm saying is that Obama is no tyrant/ marxist/ communist ideologue. He's too wussy to even go to the mat for the public option, which was in itself a compromise of something that the base wanted. Tyrants don't worry about public opinion so much. They crush it.
Mike if I may, suggest maybe you do a little research about the Overton Window, maybe the picture will become clearer for you…

Can you believe this story from Denver?
I just read this and had to share it with the community.
This poor woman, just can’t believe that this actually happens in this day and age, what a shame.
(CNN) — Three police cars pulled into Christina FourHorn’s front yard one afternoon just before she was supposed to pick up her daughter at school. The officers had a warrant for her arrest.
“What do you mean robbery?” FourHorn remembers asking the officers. Her only brushes with the law had been a few speeding tickets.
She was locked up in a Colorado jail. They took her clothes and other belongings and handed her an oversize black-and-white striped uniform. She protested for five days, telling jailers the arrest was a mistake. Finally, her husband borrowed enough money to bail her out.
“They wouldn’t tell me the details,” she said.
Later, it became clear that FourHorn was right, that Denver police had arrested the wrong woman. Police were searching for Christin Fourhorn, who lived in Oklahoma.
Their names were similar, and Christina FourHorn, a mother with no criminal record living in Sterling, Colorado, had been caught in the mix-up.
Hiya.
Support poverty situations countrywide for free! All U have to do is complete surveys, or play free games at the help poverty web site, and their supporters will at once transfer funds to organisations whose unique goal iz to assist poorness situations nationwide! This iz a new thought and it works, cause you won’t have to pay to help, still funds will even so be sent to those who need it.
Tnx for showing this!
