So, for all they knew, this Keith what ever his name is, was speaking the truth. I mean, why would someone lie about such a thing? Why would someone lie about anything? My Aunt was raised light hearted Christian, and yes though she is *Liberal* in her philosophy and her politics, she believes in the truth. My Aunt's liberalness is born of love for liberty and love for the truth. Unfortunately she does not understand that one such as this Keith fellow's so called *liberalism* is not born of love for liberty and love of the truth.
I encourage all who read this to read the late Richard Wurbrant of Voice of the Martyrs book. Especially worth noting is Richard Wurmbrant's book, "Tortured for Christ" of his experience of being 14 years in a Communist Prison camp for being a Christian in Romania. (He was born Jewish.) Richard Wurmbrant of Voice of the Martyrs has also written a book comparing Marxism to Satanism. Though I have not read this book, I have read about it. I can guess from what I've read about it, that it is an important book for me to read. I think it will help me to understand *What* is the lie and who is the liar and what inspires that kind of mind set. And, it might also help me to chose truth in myself!

I think you made Olbermanns point. Out of the thousands of pictures and videos that could have been used to show the diversity of the tea party crowd this is all they can come up with.
Funny, I was struck this past Sunday wathcing reality TV. I watched the Undercover Boss show and the company highlighted was 7-11. At the end of the show the CEO was addressing his staff at their corporate headquarters and looking out in that crowd is where I truly saw a I microcosm of today's America. It was truly diverse and representative of what America is really like. I couldn't help to think of comapring that crowd to the tea party movement. There was no comparison. Now, many of those people could be Tea Partiers, but the panned pictures and videos of the tea parties I have seen to date on any network does not come close. Just an observation.
Your observation is off-base. You can't compare diversity of an "employee base" to the diversity of a "political rally attendee base". One motivates through wages for service while another motivates through emotional commitment for involvement in the political realm. Trying to compare the two and using it as a justification of a weakness in diversity at Tea Party Rallies is useless.
You can't motivate a people if they have no personal connection to the movement. When it directly affects most individuals within their own world, then you will see the diversification expand. Until then, yes, there will be a broad difference between the races attending these rallies. But don't be fooled into thinking otherwise. The media controls what they want us to see. Tea Party Rallies are not about making sure the MSM sees the full spectrum of races. They have more important issues to address, and Political Correctness is on the bottom of that list.

If all you did all day was peer into the one way lens of a camera you wouldn’t have a clue what was going on around you either. Texas is an interesting mix of all sorts of social and economic blends. Not sure what I expected coming from California, but I'm having a blast here. Attending the tea-parties has been an eye opener. You don't have to agree with every single person, but it is so great to see sooooooo many ethnic groups willing to step out of the shadows of the democrat party and fight for some of the same conservative values I cherish.
The moral dilemma I have… Is it wrong to wish for this toad to spontaneously combust on air while making yet another ridiculous unsubstantiated assault on conservative Americans that want their country back?

I refuse to look down on a fellow Cornellian because s/he graduated from one of the state colleges. (I matriculated to the Ag school then later transferred to Arts and Sciences.) Cornellians do not divide ourselves like that.
I don't hear as much talk about calling to have him fired as fired due to low ratings. When he goes, it will not be due to anything we've done or said. It will be because people don't watch.

See below. Nine years there and three degrees.
1) I do not recall dividing the colleges like that. "Arts and Sciences is Ivy but Ag is not". (I am not unaware of the distinctions between the colleges having been in both.) We just thought of Cornell as Ivy League – period.
2) It is Ivy League. Which means what exactly? Technically it has to do with sports – a league of schools that play against each other. And yes it has to do with prestige. Cornell typically ranks around 7th-10th in the nation. Some schools rank higher and yet are not Ivy League which tells you the label has only relative value.
3) And yet I don't think we make a big deal out of it. I don't tell people I went to an "Ivy League" university. Obviously Harvard, Yale, and Dartmouth are better known for being "Ivy League". (Hence Jamesb's friend below – it's not a big deal.)

,I happened to attend one Tea Party event this last year while visiting friends and family in Montana. I saw *Black* and Hispanic people speaking for and on defense of the Spirit of Liberty and Love representing the Tea Party Movement. In fact, I personally introduced myself to one young man who spoke representing the Spirit of Liberty and Living Truth at this Tea Party event that I attended in Montana. I shook the hand of this big hearted young man from the South who happen to be a black man who was on the Tea Party tour, and thanked him. He had been beat up by the Union Thugs for selling items at a Tea Party event the year before. In fact, several of the men who beat him up, making their stand against this young man's Freedom of Speech and Assembly where *White* men by skin color. Meanspiritedness and hard hearted cruelty has nothing to do with race! And there was this Keith what ever his name is, epsousing the absolute lie on Television that the Tea Party Movement consists only of What Racists! What?!!!
