Look! Here’s Dylan Ratigan now, in his memorable, nearly career-ending exchange with Florida congresswoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz.
Which may explain why Ratigan (who, like MSNBC regular Donny Deutsch, has a claim to punditry fame based on… what, again?), and his antagonistic show Morning Meeting vanished from the low-rated cable network in December, to be replaced by the kiddie corps of Chuck “Horse Race” Todd and the utterly unintelligble Savannah Guthrie (as Henry Higgins might ask: why can’t young American women learn to speak?).
So you’ll be pleased to know that, for some recondite reason, the pride of Saranac Lake is now back on the air weekday afternoons as host of The Dylan Ratigan Show. Whence comes this great moment in television:
A masterful display of all the dishonest pathologies of the Left in one handy clip. Posit something counter-factual (the Right wants to kill blacks and Jews and women) and then argue the premise? Check. Rude and intolerant toward your guest? Check. Liberally throw around words like “racists” and “Nazis?” Check? Get angry when confronted and challenged and then stalk off the set? Check? Conclude with a barrage of insults after the guest’s mic has been cut off? Check!
Meanwhile, as long as Mr. Ratigan has so gratuitously brought up the National Socialist German Workers party (which part of that sounds like the Reagan Revolution?) in order to smear the Tea Party attendees, let’s take a stroll down memory lane and into the courtroom of the Nazi judge, Roland Freisler, in a characteristic performance. First, a little background on Freisler, lest you (like Bill O’Reilly, who ought to know better) are under the impression that Hitler, Mussolini and their adherents were men of the Right, instead of the Left:

The MSM will continue to smear conservatives with taunts of "Nazi" and "racist" because that is all they have left. Liberals will continue to lose arguments based on the merits. When they do, they have no choice but to hurl the insults. This gives them credibility with the HuffPo and Daily Kos crowd but it does little to refute conservative positions on key issues. Ratigan and his ilk are a dying breed, but I say keep them on the air. Maddow and Olbermann and Ratigan provide endless hours of high comedy on TV. I want them on the air in November when the Dems lose control of the House and the Senate. It will be worth it to see thier heads explode on election night.

MSNBC Hosts all act the same……Ask questions and then talk over guest in thier response. The first few times times were entertaining however, Like Madcow and Olby, its annoying.

Calling them out on the origins of their festering ideology is a good beginning. But we have to take it further than that. We have to make it painful for them to even think about engaging in such gutter behavior. We have to sue them for libel and slander. Every. Single. Time. We need to set up some kind of legal "offense" fund to finance slapping them in the teeth everytime they can't help themselves and reveal their Fascist underpinnings. Break them financially. Make them spend every single red cent George Soros has manipulated and stolen in his life to defend their diseased illogic, then go after their employer's bank accounts. Well, when you look at the clip, it looks like the studio is the back set of Jeopardy or something and the whole thing is being filmed on a Flip camera or something. The remote with Mark Williams looks like a Skype transmission.
Ratigan used to be a host on CNBC, the financial network, until he got booted to MSNBC. I think his socialist ideals were at odds with the largely conservative audience that watches CNBC. CNBC still has a liberal bias though…annoying since it's on in my office all day long.
Wow. Say what you may but he dragged out to reveal she knows nothing but talking points and couldn't address what he revealed what was true that large insurance companies received a huge financial bump on the possibility of passage of health care legislation. This politician was called out and she fell flat on her face…something that should happen to all politicians and this exchange reminds me of the infamous O'Reilly and Barney Frank exchange.

Does anyone care what MSNBC has to say? Does anyone even watch them? Bill O'Reilly has more viewer for his 8pm broadcast that all of the "Enlightened" political pundits on MSNBC combined.
I think those who go on these shows and are treated this way should just stop talking after they are rudely interrupted the second time (in a badgering way, not to clarify a question or something). That's what I do in a conversation if I'm constantly interrupted. The show would end up with lots of dead air (or manic rants by the "hosts"), which as far as I can tell, wouldn't make advertisers very happy. And that term, host, shouldn't that suggest courtesy to your "guests"?

This lack of decorum and common manners is the reason I stopped watching news broadcasts, even on Fox. They bring on a liberal and a conservative to discuss a topic. If the liberal goes first, he/she spews out talking points and exaggerations while the conservative patiently waits for his/her turn. When it's the conservative's turn to speak, he/she doesn't get ten words out before the liberal is shouting (not talking, shouting) over him/her. If the conservative goes first, the liberal jumps in as he/she is speaking accusing him/her of spouting talking points. In either scenario, the liberal makes sure the conservative does not have an opportunity to present the conservative side of the topic without interruption.
The Nazi government was a fascist government so despite calling themselves the National Socialist party, they were still a right wing party.

BSNBC continues to take their network to new lows. They are like that bully in high school who was more of an annoyance then a threat. Eventually the bully's classmates came to realize how pathetic he was and simply ignored him until he shriveled up and went away.

I used to watch DR on Fast Money on CNBC and liked him. I was sad to hear he was leaving so I watched him on MSNBC. After a few times watching him in the new format I was a little shaken that I had so misjudged him as a sane person. I thought it was a bad decision moving to MSNBC. I thought he was downing his career. It turns out he is a perfect fit… but I am right on the second count.
Radigan needs to up the dosage on his blood pressure meds before the top of his head blows clean off. Now that show would be worth watching. Heh heh.

The Nazis were a socialist party who worked for things such as universal health care and access to higher education. They indoctrinated the youth of Germany and were only really different from the communists in that they had an extremely nationalist vein that led to policies of racism and genocide. The fascism is the only thing that can be arguably "right wing" about Nazi Germany. However, I highly doubt that there are many active fascists in America.

Stop buying that argument. Right Wing means something totally different in America than it does in Europe. In Europe the spectrum bounces between fascist and communist as poles of right and left, between totalitarian government control on either end. In America, it bounces between more individual freedom and more government control. So, two ideologies that argue for total government control like fascism and communism would be left wing ideologies in the US, and total anarchy would therefore be a position of the -extreme- right.

The best way to handle these people is to not play along with their game. The guy shouldn't have had to defend the Tea Party at all. He should have just ended the interview. A local liberal alternative station's morning crew landed an interview with Anne Coulter several years ago. When she got on the phone with them, they stated that they would play a game called "Did Anne Say This or Did David Duke Say It" Anne was quiet for a bit and then said something like "I'm going to be very quiet for a long time, and this click you hear is totally not me hanging up on you." Anne didn't even mess with them, she just ended it flat. She was smart enough to know that you can't defend an accusation of racism from these people. AB used a similar trick at CPAC.

I skipped nearly ALL of the Olympic coverage, partially out of my growing contempt for the network NBC. I didn't miss much anyway NBC wasn't able to grab me out of my sour feelings seeing their logo.
Boycotts don't really work, but pissing off your audience works. I know I'm a low-level entertainer. It isn't just poor programming that MSNBC has such low ratings.
These videos should have the LOGO prominently displayed at all times. I'm sure it can't be too difficult to digitally do this. More people will see this on You Tube and on the net than on air.

For decades I wondered why the UberLeft, Left and liberals were peopled with so many Jews…practically to the total exclusion from the right side of the equation. I formulated my own philosophy, asked anyone who was Jewish in person or via email, postings, comments, etc., never a response except an occasional "don't know". I was never attacked for posing the questions. Then, lo and behold I catch Norman Podhoretz, prevailing on C-Span about his new book: "Why are Jews Liberals?" For an old woman of limited "formal" education, it was gratifying to note that a true giant of the Jewish world and an acclaimed scholar had asked and answered my decades old question. However, having said all that, I still do not understand how so many Jews support political systems intent on forcing their ideology on humans, even at the point of a gun. Here in America, they are trying to do it via congress through laws the clear majority do not want, do not approve of and wish a return to a more normal American world. You have Charles Schumer as the head Uberleftist and I wonder, does he push for those ideologies because he is Jewish himself, but wealthy as well and he hopes that, this time, they will seek him out in the end.
