In the wake of last night’s passage of “Health-Care Reform” –
WASHINGTON —The House of Representatives Sunday passed by a 219 to 212 vote the biggest overhaul of the nation’s health care system in more than four decades, sweeping changes expected to make coverage easier and cheaper to obtain.
The largely party-line vote —219 Democrats voted “yea” while all 178 Republicans and 34 Democrats voted no —meant President Barack Obama’s biggest domestic initiative neared the end of its year-long political and legislative odyssey.
“We proved that we are still a people capable of doing big things,” Obama said late Sunday from the White House.
– let’s give credit to the Beltway Boys ‘n’ Girls’s second-favorite candidate in the 2008 election…

… John McCain (R – Media), who made all this possible with his “honorable campaign:”
John McCain sought to walk back some of the hostility that he and his crowds have projected towards Barack Obama in recent days, saying he wanted to run a respectful campaign and urging his supporters to think of Obama as a decent person.
After an attendee at his town hall said he was concerned about bringing up a child under a president who “cohorts with domestic terrorists such as [Bill] Ayers,” McCain didn’t take the bait. Rather, he sought to calm the questioner’s obviously emotional tone.
“[Senator Obama] is a decent person and a person that you do not have to be scared about as President of the United States,” he said, before adding: “If I didn’t think I would be one heck of a better president I wouldn’t be running.”
McCain was subsequently booed.

McCain was the Republican pick – not the conservative pick. I'm so sick of "old boy" politics. This is what it got us. Any one remember Bob Dole? Me, either.
McCain practically endorsed Obama in '08.
I'm not so sure the GOP didn't have a back room deal with the democrats to toss the election.
Democrats, progressives, populists, intellectuals, elitists, liberals, all are cheering for the Health Bill that was rammed through by Congress. They are overjoyed as America progresses toward SociaIism, they should be very careful what they wish for.
Somehow they think a new SociaIist America will look to them as heroes and leaders, that they will reap the rewards of a government run utopia which will take care of their every need. They are better described as useful idiots.
They really should study history and find out who will be rounded up and exterminated FIRST, pre-WWII Russia would be a good place to start. Social parasites, enemies of the people, government bureaucrats, minorities, deviants, all rounded up and either shot or sent to the Gulag labor camps to die, about 50 million in all.
I'm guessing that their public indoctrination school education did not spend much time on that part of history, if any. Other than a few rulers, SociaIism only allows silent, dumb workers to continue to exist. That is the doom they are cheering for, for them and their children.

John McCain "officer and gentlemaned" himself right into a loss. You could see it coming from a million miles. The electoral momentum was dressed like a jackass anyway, and McCain just greased the skids for Obama & Thugs.
McCain brought a feather duster to a gun fight. Obama's people play hardball, down and dirty politics. McCain made it easy for them. Conventional wisdom tells you that you MUST DEFINE YOUR OPPONENT.
Obama has been a stealth politician since before he ever ran for office. You don't cast that many PRESENT votes unless you are trying to hide something – in Obama's case – his college Marxism (fact, verifiable witnesses) and as an elected politician he was certifiable THE most libeeral Senator in Congress – yet McCain's people DIDN'T EXPLOIT THIS FACT.
This reform represents a great improvement to our health care system. The American people should feel a great sense of pride tomorrow, knowing that we will no longer accept our fellow Americans being refused the health care they need, and that Insurance companies will no longer determine who is covered. This is truly a day we can all celebrate our country.
McCain was picked by the Republican "powers that be," because they thought they could attract conservative Democrats that way.
It didn't work then, and I don't think it will work next time. It sure won't attract the Conservative vote!
Wow, the seminar posters are really out in force on the blogs tonight.
Nah the whole thing just doesn't pas the smell test, as Mr, Walsh points out, McCain decided to run a 'clean' campaign. In spite of that he was still up by five points when in September, we had that purely coincidental stock market crash…….
July 4, Independence day
March 21, a new national holiday – Dependence day
Start of bankruptcy
Everyone is confusing health insurance with health care.
You insure against getting sick and are covered when you do.
You don't try to get insurance when you are already are. Obama doesn't know the difference, if he thinks his faux headlock on insurance companies actually translate at health care. Insurance companies have long been able to outfox anyone in their own favor. Obama is calling his health insurance tinkering "health care". Far from it
Obama showed he was an ignorant pushover on this one. Sit back and watch this all explode and not offer health care for anyone.
Plus, those 30 million "without insurance" are illegal aliens and young people who won't need it but now have to pay for it or stay on mommy and daddy's policies a bit longer learning at an early age the way to get through life the Obama way is to use other people's money. Who wins here – the insurance companies of course. They get paid by the taxpayers to now insure millions of illegal aliens and healthy young people.
Is Obamaland great or what?
Sooo, by reducing the deficit…we get to bankruptcy? Don't believe Republican congressmen claiming the CBO lies, because both parties agreed to rely on the CBO before this bill was created! The fact is that the CBO is, by far, the best estimate we have of what the effect of the bill will be …and they say it will lower the deficit. This helps the country! Unless you are a Republican member of Congress…you should be happy!
Many Conservatives blame Senator John McCain and his half-baked, presidential campaign, for the fix we are in. I think he may have done us a favor.
If McCain had won, America would have continued sleeping while progressive liberals continued to ease us toward Socialism. Instead, Obama, a colossal idiot with zero experience, (other than voting present), has blundered around, raising a rukus, and awakened Americans who are startled to see this self-centered, boy-who-would-be-king, pushing America toward Socialism.
We have suffered a defeat with ObamaCare, but the war is not over. Now that America is fully awake and the battle-lines are drawn, we will soon find out where our future lies.
America is Coming for YOU, Congress!

McCain was the democratic media's pick because he couldn't beat Hillary. They wanted Mitt out of the race because Mitt would nuke Hillary at that time. So lots of Dem voters jump and voted for this idiot McCain. I voted for McCain and I held my nose and I am glad he lost because he would cave to the attacks of the lefts and we would be in the same mess. This way the dems will get the blame for this insanity we had today. This bill was their death knell.
Mr. John,
I suggest you read the following:
Soviet-Style Medicine, North American-Style (Scroll down to this story.)
A Canadian's tale of what it's like to try to get care under socialized medicine.
http://www.advicegoddess.com/goddessblog.html
The CBO only scores as well as the info they have.
A former CBO head just called this bill "fantasy in – fantasy out". They moved the doctor's reimbursement (230 BILLION $$$ out of the bill) the bill also scored in the red. The numbers don't add up.
Tax hikes for all!
He fell for those Alinsky tactics, oops sorry, he's a progressive, so no pass for him…
Absolutely, Jamesb.
You are never going to win an alley brawl against a thug if you try to fight by the Marquis of Queensbury rules.
Your link didn't work, but it doesn't even matter. This may be hard to swallow for you right away…but health reform passed. You can stop trying to scare people by calling it "Soviet"/Communist/Socialist/Nazi whatever, but its now also American. The debate is over, and everyone who knows what this means no longer has to justify it, because its finally the law in America. Of course you can stay angry for years if you want, but why? Just remember all those arguments were made about Medicare too, and now everyone loves it, the Republicans were even defending it this year! You will come around, don't worry, this is for the best.
"They really should study history and find out who will be rounded up and exterminated FIRST, pre-WWII Russia would be a good place to start. Social parasites, enemies of the people, government bureaucrats, minorities, deviants, all rounded up and either shot or sent to the Gulag labor camps to die, about 50 million in all."
Doesn't sound too bad then. Oh I'm kidding relax. Am I?
In addition to not being a Conservative, McCain refused to fight! He tried to "play nice."
You are never going to win an alley brawl against a thug if you try to fight by the Marquis of Queensbury rules.
Boy, are you misinformed! Law…Hah….not nearly.
By the way, anyone wanting to read the story, just go to the blog and scroll down.
It's not a good idea to click on links anyway!
By the way – Go away, troll.
McCain is a good 'loser.' Immigration Reform,-Amnesty for all illegal aliens. Play nice and you get a 'cookie'.
Precipitated by this man:
George Soros became known as "the Man Who Broke the Bank of England" after he made a reported $1 Billion during the 992 Black Wednesday UK currency crisis.
I do not hold a grudge against our lawmakers who passed the first emergency bill trying to save our currency system. They were told they had to act immediately, and even the Conservatives did.
Soros is a pig in every sense of the word. And rather grotesque looking as well -
A little part of me has empathy for the Naval aviator McCain but MOST of me thinks he's a big pain in the ass. Mr. "Chivalry" Bullsheet. It's about winning.
He ran for president like a guy with a wealthy wife who "didn't need the job". Sure LOSER.
I completely agree with this fantum – the only way we would really know without a doubt who the real players are, was to have them exposed front and center. We probably don't have all the names and faces yet, but heck, we have the 219 after tonight
"Just remember all those arguments were made about Medicare too…" MEDICARE IS BROKE. It's out of real money. They're robbing Peter (aka the taxpayers grandchildren) to pay Paul.
Sorry to be the one to spoil your little happy dreamworld John, but this bill will NOT reduce the deficit – if you believe it will, then man do I have a deal for you – guess it's honestly true, there IS one born every minute!
Dude I love John McCain his contribution and sacrifice for this country and the proud tradition of his family speaks for itself….But he is a progressive…he must go…
I've seen Bush blamed, now McCain, but the real blame belongs with those purity conservatives who said Republicans need to be taught a lesson back in 2006.
McCain was the DEMOCRAT's pick to go up against their candidate… as evidenced by McCain recieving campaign donations from Democratic supporters such as SEIU (http://ow.ly/1nY5y) and the unions (http://ow.ly/1pe1i ). Sorry but neither of them give to conservatives and if they hadn't infused money into his campaign by the time he got to FL he would have had to drop out….
I hope the people of the state of Arizona have the good sense to vote OUT McCain in the primary and elect a solid conservative in Hayworth. Let's get the RINOs and "old fart" Rockefeller Republicans out of every office in the land and replace them with Reagan conservatives.
John, the point that most of us are trying to make is that the American people did not want this health care bill. We want our elected representatives to represent us. This did not happen, that makes this bill far from being American.
Problem is the GOP leadership listened to idiots like Chris Mathews and Keith Olbermann when they said that we needed McCain so they could "reach out to moderates". And conservatives were left out in the cold until he pick Sarah Palin as his running mate (the only good decision he made).
In 2012, let's tell the GOP that screw the moderates and elect a conservative!
I thank McCain for his honorable service to this country in time of war. After he returned and entered politics he became a progressive and an enemy combatant working against this countries principles from with-in.
Fan, your point goes directly back to the Glenn Beck frog in hot water point…Let's hope to god America is awake now…
[...] ‘Health-Care’ Debacle; Congratulations, Sen. John McCain (R–Media) — You Made This Day Possi… [...]
John
The reform represents a great change to our health system. I guess you have decided to live for the day, it will be a short one in terms of history as this assult on freedom loving people will too pass.
"You will come around, don't worry, this is for the best."
YUCK FOU!!!! USEFUL IDIOT!!!!!!!! It's the communist term for people like you.
I'm not getting over this but we will be coming round.
Bastard.
Yeah, Johnny Boy, let's see how Wall Street "celebrates."
Yeah….let's tell all 40% of self-identifying Conservatives (including ones you would consider Moderates) that you don't want any money, support or votes from anyone but Conservatives.
Good luck with that. We'll not only have Obama for another 4 years but Pelosi will be celebrating 10 years as Speaker.
Funny how happy someone can be with the IRS's expanded powers to confiscate their tax returns, should there be any, knowing that a eugenicist is at the helm of their next heart stent in an unelected rationing position. You are a slave now, troll. Gawd they make 'em simple minded sometimes, eh?
Electing Obama may be a Two-fer, we may be rid BOTH Progressive Types, Rs & Ds, if the medicine doesn't kill us!
Dumbest conspiracy argument yet. SEIU is now the reason that McCain won the primary? Give me a break. He was on life support when he finally started making a comeback. He didn't do it with money or fancy speeches. He did it by talking to people and making his case. Romney should have done the same and things might have been different.
The entire reason he had a shot was because Social Conservatives torpedoed Rudy Guliani (who would have been a monster on the campaign trail and more Conservative than McCain) early on because he was ProChoice. If you really want to blame someone, try those people who refused to listen to the man, even when he promised to put strict Constitutionalists on the bench (the only affect a President can have on the abortion issue). Huckabee and Romney split the rest of the vote and McCain won. It's not a mystery. It's not even confusing.
And for the record, McCain received the second most votes EVER for a Republican, so although he got beaten bad, it was a respectable showing considering the drubbing all Republicans took, even the more Conservative ones.
I think many of you are putting the blame in the wrong place. Yes, McCain ran a weak campaign, but the real fault is in those who are ignorant enough to believe that they can live off the productivity of others. The next move will be amnesty to sew up another ten million "welfare" votes. When that happens the downhill slide will turn into an avalanche! Sad to say folks, but the culprit is your neighbor that wants you to pay their way.
"McCain was picked by the Republican "powers that be," because they thought they could attract conservative Democrats that way."
Total crap. You must have been napping during the primaries (and the months leading up to them). McCain was polling in the single digits and out of cash until he started doing town halls (and carrying his own luggage) into towns. Nobody "picked him." Hell, nobody even liked him until he started winning. Some of his Senate colleagues backed him because that's what politicians do, but it had no effect on the campaign (because the same people were supporting him when he was polling around 7%).
I hate revisionist history, whether it's from the Left or Right. McCain didn't win because SEIU supported him, he didn't win because Democrats snuck into Republican primaries, and he didn't win because Washington wanted him to. He won because he campaigned the hardest early on and Romney stepped on his dick with all the negative commercials about McCain and Huckabee. His negatives skyrocketed, the Social Conservatives undermined Guliani (who should have been the nominee), and Romney & Huck split the Social vote. That's it. Stop trying to create conspiracy theories to make yourself feel better and worry about what is really happening.
Thank you!
The Republicans did need to be taught a lesson, but when the same people acted the same way in 2008, they managed to give us a Reid-Pelosi-Obama trifecta that could pass even the most hated bill I've ever seen passed. Now here they are talking the same crap about ignoring Moderates and Independents, not to mention wanting to run Republicans out of Congress for not being "pure" enough. Even when the Dems are collapsing our economy you can't get these people to freaking wake up. It's more depressing than what Obama is doing to us.
Hayworth is a solid Conservative? Since when?
Ah well, November is coming! And in two more years, November is coming!
Good for us all!
"McCain was the democratic media's pick because he couldn't beat Hillary."
No…McCain was the media's pick because he seems like the most reasonable Republican to them. Perhaps that's a bad thing by itself, but there was no silly conspiracy to exclude Mitt. If you'd like to revisit the polls, you'll see that there were a frighteningly large number of Social Conservatives who refused to support Mitt because he was Mormon (they called Right-wing talk shows virtually every day). It kept him from being able to push out Huckabee (along with his ill-advised trash and burn media campaign around the first primary).
I would have preferred Rudy, but Social Conservatives killed his campaign as well. Huckabee couldn't possibly have won, so Mitt was the only one with a shot to beat McCain, but lost too many early contests (again due to Rudy's surprisingly bad showing). Rudy's voters went to McCain, and that was enough to get him the momentum. I'm as disappointed as anyone that he spit the bit in the general election (especially the painful flight back to Washington to try to mediate the bailout), but despite a lackluster campaign he managed to outperform more Conservative candidates in almost every district and state (look up the Congressional numbers if you don't believe me). He got the second most votes ever for a Republican in a year when they lost a ton of seats in the House and Senate.
So could we please stop hand-wringing about how he cost us the election and move on to Nov 2010?
Just pray that both the health care you have now and your health hold out for another three or four years until Obamacare takes hold. And by that time I hope some looser behind a desk may decide whatever care you need is too expensive and just cancel your stupid azz.
I don't see any reason to blame McCain for today.
OTOH I never saw the faintest reason to think he was suited to politics. And time has shown he is a GOP disaster. Why anyone ever voted for him always baffled me. I suppose it was the medals.
From all accounts he was an outstanding naval officer. That is not an insignificant achievement but the Navy is not the Senate. Different duties.
You're right, Jamesb, Medicare is broke! And Obamacare is taking more money out of it to pay for all the new people that are going to be covered under the new Government run health care, including all the illegal immigrants that are pouring over our borders now that amnesty is on the horizon.
Oh yeah, and despite the fact that the Democraps denied it when President Bush was in office, Social Security is going broke as well. Along with the rest of our once proud nation, it seems.
No, we all share in the SLEEP we have been in and knowing the COMMUNISM WITHIN has been building. We have not complained LOUD ENUFF when communism crept into our govt, media, and academia…we should have purged it then…McCain is not the Fall Guy…he is pathetic and should sit down. Our parents lost sight of the prize, too. And the saying goes that when piggs run the farm, you starve.
secede nov2 2010 let them eat squat…Red land mass vs Blue Land Mass…they are in cities, we own the farms….we are in control, yet we give them control…how wierd…starve the leeches.
You apparently are unenlightened to the fact that for the next four 4 years 14 million Democrat props are still going to die every single day since they still won't have government-run Universal Death Care insurance.
However, because of Universal Death Care insurance, over the next four years 95% of working Americans will see their taxes rise, their service cut, and their college-kidz whining and screaming 'give-me' more goodies because they're permanent fununemployment.
Enjoy your happy, john..
SOmetimes you just have to give as good as you get.
Yeah, if nominating Mr. Reach Across The Aisle was such a peachy idea, he would be president.
Everytime Conservatism is tried, it works.
Americans only have themselves to blame, since drifting left for decades produced two presidential candidates of the Obama/McCain caliber. Yes, McCain could have brought up Ayers, Frank Marshall Davis, the racist Rev. Wright, Obama's 20+ years membership in the racist TUCC group, etc, but a majority of Americans didn't seem to care. And, since the minority of Americans could only offer McCain as an alternative to Obama, Obama won. America will continue to crumble until clear majority of Americans move away from the Center/Right – a position overlooking an abyss – to a Far Right position (and I don't mean the "Christian Right").
Defeat McCain at the polls. He would have supported Amnesty again but he's afraid he'll lose re-election.
What's a troll
I can definitely understand your frustration, and if the bill didn't pass I would feel the same way, but remember that many of your representatives DID vote against it. Also remember that Obama campaigned on the idea of a public option or even single-payer, and many of his own voters, including me, are angry that those ideas are left out. This is a moderate plan, not a "takeover," and everyone will understand its benefits eventually.
McCain needs to take his money are get out of Washington. His policies and efforts have left a legacy of ruin and dispair within the American electorate…..
Hey… these are not seminar posters… these are really intelligent people who can add (and who are angry at being ignored. Try these numbers on for size:
A million seconds is 12 DAYS. A billion seconds is 31 YEARS. A trillion seconds is 31,688 YEARS. A trillion dollars is also the price tag of health care reform that the MAJORITY of Americans did NOT want to have shoved down their throat, but they just did.
Their votes added up… and so will ours. The founding fathers were geniuses with the separation of powers… We will remember on November 2nd… We will bring about change that WE can believe in… because there are no truth tellers in the WH or in majority parties in Congress (except maybe some of the 39 who voted against.)
I respect McCains military service but I said from the beginning of the campaign that if McStain was the nominee that the Kenyan marxist would be elected. It is past time to refresh the tree.
John lay off the Kool Aid. This president is not capable of anything meaningful or important. He is a meglomaniac. And a majority of Americans are idiots for electing this miscreant.
"McCain brought a feather duster to a gun fight. " And the feather duster was call Sara Palin, biggest lightweight in American politics
McLame is a pig. If AZ re elects him again they should be run over by illegals
McCain certainly has acted as an enabler several times on legislation, and he certainly could have run a better campaign – but I don't think it's fair to place the blame on him: America elected an unabashed socialist for president, sweet-talked into thinking he was for clean government and personal empowerment by the media.
GW Bush is the man responsible for this disaster of an administration. If GW had been a better president then we would not have BO, the penultimate huckster, today.
John, why are you leaving out the fact that it's government that already denies more claims than private insurance companies?
Well said. I'd rather have unlimited access to treatment than to "coverage".
I'll second that. Pres. Bush was good on national defense but on domestic issues (with few exceptions) he tried to out Democrat the Democrats.
McCain the "maverick" has done more to weaken the conservative movement within the republican party than anyone. Now he is running for re-election he will act like a conservative. He is right to make noise now but he needs to be replaced by a conservative. It was his for the taking last year and he blew it by being a RINO.
The social conservatives won't be getting in the way again. Speaking as one myself, I can see it as a moral imperative to protect economic freedom of choice.
McCain has always been as much a tool of Socialism as the Democrats.
With him, it's only a matter of degree.
McCain-Feingold? The government tells you who can speak.
McCain-Kennedy? The government tells you who is legal to live here–even if they came here illegally.
McCain is a tool. Lindsey Graham is his mouthpiece. And Mitt Romney is more of the same.
Republicans have the next 2 1/2 years to promote conservative candidates.
After that, the Tea Party or some form of it, will do it for them.
It's are own fault. We bought "compassionate" conservative.
Lets get nasty.
If in fact everyone were at least buying the minimum of health ins. (which they could have if they just didn’t have the go to the hospital for free card available) we would not be having this discussion and take over. Health ins. should have never been a job benefit… ever! It should have remained in the hands of the consumer. It became a sleeping giant as a result. The fact is this… the exceptions to the rule clauses in this bill makes it yet another lie in a never ending list of lies a corrupt Government official tells when he has his hand on the wheel driving the bus right over the cliff.
I wonder if McCain has trouble sleeping at night? I hope so.
If you really think the worlds truly powerful, who command billions, if not trillions, of dollars of resources and massively powerful worldwide organizations, would just let the American sheeple determine who runs the worlds most powerful nation (still but just barely) without interference ? Is so, I have healthcare plan to sell you ; ) I used to believe that there was no one behind the curtain but at some point I realized that was foolish and naive. The powerful believe that they OWN us and our world, they certainly aren't going to just let US decide who runs THEIR show. Please, McCain was the annointed one and he was supposed to lose, and even if he hadn't, they still won because he is really a progressive anyway. BTW, to all the people who want to point out that McAmnesty was a "war hero" (oh please, my father was a war hero, McCain was a schmuck), I will remind you that Benedict Arnold was a war hero also…… before he was a TRAITOR.
Palin is actually a TV commentaor now and had has more executive experience than McCain or this idiot lightweight Obama.
She isn't running for anything, just opining.
You seem like your mind is closed. Do you hate all women or just conservative women?
You need to start taking your meds before you write anything, Axelrod.
Um, I despise Medicare, asswad. Working people most certainly do NOT love any of this crap being shoved down their throats. It's only unemployed assholes like yourself, the leaches on the system, who enjoy this.
John's argument: "Someday, my wife will realize it's actually good for me to beat her." You're a despicable creep. You should be glad that we'll never meet each other in a dark alley, otherwise you sure as hell will need some of that "free" healthcare.
Bob Dull, McCain and the rest of the Republicans allowed this to happen but getting totally out of control when they were in command. Lay this directly at their feet.
We'll never be able to deal with the Enemy at the gate with traitors like McCain in our ranks.
That vile creature needs to be greased.
My exact thought when this travesty passed. McCain and his little sister Lindey Nancy Grahamnesty will also sheperd through 30 million illegals right to the voter rolls in time for the 2010 november elections. Turncoat RINOs.
I blame all the politicians who have given more and more control to the govn't over the years. I.E John Mccain, Orrin Hatch, and a miriad of other republicans that were more that happy to give George Bush so much more power. But now that a Democrat is in they don't want him to have so much power. And after Obama gets the boot the Dems will cry that the president has too much power. Both sides are to blame for this mess and if we keep voting for the same people we are going to lose all of our freedoms. It's not just the Democrats who are to blame, however the have really screwed us with socializing so much of our freedoms. I am tired of voting for the lesser of two evils.
Jeb Bush. No dice. No way. That's crazy. I'm going to vote for Obama!!! RU Fing kidding me. I'd vote for a stick figure of gumby against Obama. Most of America will too by then. We must nominate a young man and a seasoned vp and let them tear the failure of liberalism to pieces.
Yeah, by November, after they give the illegals amnisty and a vote, we'll take back squat.
McCain is going after Hayward in a way he should have gone after Obama. He should have called out Obama like he wanted to win.
Thanks for nothing McCain, Graham, and Lieberman. Your wobbly knees are not suited for the new politics — it is for keeps. Go home. We don't need you any more.
McCain: Navy hero………………..But, tell us again about how you support "global warming". Sad……….
“We proved that we are still a people capable of doing big things.” We proved that we are still a people capable of making huge mistakes. McCain threw the election. The Republicans, for as long as I can remember, have not adequately stood up to the Demmunists. Way too little, way too late. Tyrants don't generally give second chances.
McCain would have been a wee to the right of Obama as president. Just a wee.
But, he did give us a Happy Warrior in Sarah Palin, who WILL be president by 2020, at the latest.
Mccain lost way before 2008. After his defeat by the hands of George Bush he took his disappointment out on all the Republicans who supported Bush. He made the Republicans miserable for 8 long years, and then he needed their help when the Independents got him the nomination. He ran a dismal campaign against the Socialist, but look at what he is doing in Arizona against a fellow Republican JD Hayworth, a Republican who went against McNasty on his Comprehensive Immigration Reform, Amnsety under anyother name is still Amnesty. We are supporting JD to get the old RINO out we heard his "They are God's Children, too" and "My friend" once too often to suit us.
Tom I fear you are the feather duster or just a feather. With out Palin it would have been a huge landslide in Obama's favor. She brought in more votes than McCain.
Don't forget the "jobs Americans won't do" bit. That sent me over the edge. It is time for him to retire.
