On the Democratic side, we find that we’re no fans of incumbent Barbara Boxer. She displays less intellectual firepower or leadership than she could.

I find it totally asinine that you are not concerned for your own children's future. And my family came to this country and became LEGAL CITIZENS and were treated with bigotry. The immigration of the past has nothing to do with the immigration of today. In the early 20th century we didn't have Social Security and Medicare and we had 20 workers for every person who collected Social Security, today we have 5 workers to each.
Wowed in Atlanta, you must not have a job yet because you'll be screaming when they are taking 300.00 a week out of your pay for Hispanic, Asians,Germans, English, Italian, Muslim, Latino and Russian illegal immigrants who take the money that you may have had for a college education. Three-hundred dollars a week is 1,200 a month in Taxes and it doesn't even include your State and Medicare deductions.

Even so, that and other rough jobs teach a work-ethic that is getting harder to find in American youth and our snot-nosed friend, Wowed, above. I also had a rough and dirty job in the heart of the North Hollywood Barrio and I admire the fact that most illegals do have a good work-ethic, at least those who are not gangsters. Even so, they need to immigrate legally, obey our laws, become citizens, and learn English, just as my folks did in the early 1800's.
Anyhow, now I am on the good side of the Social Security Ponzi Scheme, I doubt it will last long.
