How is this any different than Watergate? Both involve cheating during or prior to an election. In fact, if you look at the facts that are now emerging in this case, the Obama campaign criminal activity is actually far worse than Nixon. People from Nixon's campaign broke into the DNC National Headquarters and stole files.

Obama's Campaign stole the Primary using fraudulent delegates and intimidation.

Nixon's case invloved "files."
Obama's case involves "little old ladies."

If only we had a Woodward and Bernstein to uncover the facts right now. As it is, our news media has come so far away from journalistic integrity that they are now PART of the cover up.

It's a sad day–again–for American journalism and our Republic.

*Shakes head* With primary opponents like Hillary Clinton and John Edwards, it would have been surprising if Obama hadn't won the nomination.

Hillary had been the Democratic frontrunner for years (she had assiduosly hoovered up money and promises of endorsements), but she was an ineffective campaigner with little charisma and Bill (normally a good campaigner, despite his other faults) probably hurt her with some of his comments.

I agree Yngblkcons's argument is most likely the correct one. Say what you will about him, but he (Obama) is an artist of campaigning, and clearly loves to campaign. You might even call it a "permanent campaign"

That was probably just a practice run for 2012; we need to watch these people like hawks in ANY election.

Don't forget how Richard Daley's gang of thugs made sure that Cook County's votes carried Illinois for JFK once he knew what the voting results were from downstate.

That's the environment our current POTUS came from and where he learned his political ethics (an oxymoron, I know).

I've lost track of the number of times I've heard disaffected Democrats (mostly Hillary backers) say "I never thought *MY* party would do things like this. I was so shocked!" (With the unspoken thought that only Republicans could do dirty deeds on election day.) Really, what this tells me is just how naive the average progressive voter must be.

Well, those two certainly won't investigate anything that's attached to a Democrat.

The six-month election recount that turned former "Saturday Night Live" comedian Al Franken into a U.S. senator may have been decided by convicted felons who voted illegally in Minnesota's Twin Cities.

That's the finding of an 18-month study conducted by Minnesota Majority, a conservative watchdog group, which found that at least 341 black convicted felons in largely Democratic Minneapolis-St. Paul voted illegally in the 2008 Senate race between Franken, a Democrat, and his Republican opponent, then-incumbent Sen. Norm Coleman.

The final recount vote in the race, determined six months after Election Day, showed Franken beat Coleman by 312 votes — fewer votes than the number of felons whose illegal ballots were counted, according to Minnesota Majority's newly released study, which matched publicly available conviction lists with voting records.

Furthermore, the report charges that efforts to get state and Obama federal authorities to act on its findings have been "stonewalled."

"We aren't trying to change the result of the last election. That legally can't be done," said Dan McGrath, Minnesota Majority's executive director. "We are just trying to make sure the integrity of the next election isn't compromised."

He said his group was largely ignored when it turned over a list of hundreds of names to prosecutors in two of the state's largest counties, Ramsey and Hennepin, where fraud seemed to be the greatest.

A spokesman for both county attorneys' offices belittled the information, saying it was "just plain wrong" and full of errors, which prompted the group to go back and start an in-depth look at the records.

"What we did this time is irrefutable," McGrath said. "We took the voting lists and matched them with conviction lists and then went back to the records and found the roster lists, where voters sign in before walking to the voting booth, and matched them by hand.

"The only way we can be wrong is if someone with the same first, middle and last names, same year of birth as the felon, and living in the same community, has voted. And that isn't very likely."

The report said that in Hennepin County, which in includes Minneapolis, 899 suspected felons had been matched on the county's voting records, and the review showed 289 voters were conclusively matched to felon records. The report says only three people in the county have been charged with voter fraud so far.

A representative of the Hennepin County attorney's office, who declined to give her name, said "there was no one in the office today to talk about the charges."

But the report got a far different review in Ramsey County, which contains St. Paul. Phil Carruthers of the Ramsey County attorney's office said his agency had taken the charges "very seriously" and found that the Minnesota Majority "had done a good job in their review."

The report says that in Ramsey, 460 names on voting records were matched with felon lists

I'm not sure if the narrative makes total sense. This seems to suggest that the Democratic Party turned a blind eye to these abuses out of favourtism for Obama.

Yet wasn't the narrative that the Democratic Party elite favoured Hillary Clinton, not Barack Obama? Am I clear on this?

The Democratic Rules and Bylaws Committee met on May 31st 2008 under the premise of resolving how to count the Primary votes for Michigan and Florida. They made their choice of Obama obvious. In full view, on C-Span, they chose to deride,demean and devalue those who actually placed a vote for Clinton. They didn't just decide how much those votes were worth, they took actual votes from Clinton by deciding that people really would have voted for Obama if they were better informed, they gave the majority of Undecided and Edwards votes to Obama. There wasn't any Media outcry for how a political party could give votes placed for one candidate to another. In was the beginning of the PUMA movement (party unity my a__) and in typical fashion, the Dems responded by labeling those outraged voters as "old, uneducated, racist, women…" When Sarah Palin was nominated as VP, the next step was to ridicule her by mostly the same names and claimed it was a cheap trick to gain votes from those that they themselves had disenfranchised. The primary and general election was enlightening to many, now ex- Democrats – most of them had figured out Obama and the radical, hateful direction in store, well before anyone else.

It is 100 times worse than the Nixon situation. Nixon was in fact a good man who loved his country. Nixon was a Quaker which meant he was a man who did not believe in war. He went against the grain to order those bombings.

The takedown of Nixon was a very tragic thing. It is a real shame that he became so paranoid. Overall Nixon was a good President, not bad and disgusting like the clown who is presently occupying the White House.

There are large numbers of people who were Democrats until this happened. Most of them are now Independent but some have become Republicans.

Since I am an outsider I tend to be sympathetic to both Republican and the moderate Democrats.

If you had spent time getting to know these people then maybe you just might begin to understand what they are saying. These are people who were raised to believe that the Democrats were there to "help the lower classes" etc. etc. They seemed to be totally unaware of the KKK connections to the Democrats and to the point that they were quite ignorant of the real shenanigans of Democrats at election times.

Most of these moderate Democrats were raised in Democrat families and they blieved what they were told. A majority of them remain shell-shocked over these antics. Some had remained Democrats because they believed that they could take back the party, and it took the ramming through of Abominablecare to wake them up to reality.

Exactly and that is why Gigi did the documentary. The LSM refused to touch the subject even though there was massive evidence of fraud and intimidation.

You have a good point, but I think a lot of idealistic progressive/left-liberal voters fall into that group, too: shocked by the dirtiness of the Chicago Way.

In the early part of the campaign Hillary was considered a shoo-in. Nobody really liked Hillary, they merely held their noses and accepted her as the inevitable winner. But as Barack picked up steam the DNC and the MSM joined together to "make history" by installing the first black president in the White House. The DNC played fast and loose with their own rules to give Obama the edge and the MSM built Obama up in the public mind into a tin god.

I know I sound like a nut when I say this, because it sounds crazy even to me, but somewhere deep in my soul I believe that there will be a crisis or emergency mid-2012 that will cause these folk to suspend the election. This guy will declare himself "president-for-life" or some such. don't know why I can't get this thought out of my head.
