I agree with 'alwaystellthetruth' The Palestinians do not belong in Israel. King David designated Jerusalem as Capital 3000 years ago(or thereabouts). We are seeing biblical prophecy fulfilled, the land belongs to God (joel 3.)and the Jewish people are the heirs. Now that Obama has confessed to being a muslim, we understand why the USA is turning against Israel, however Christians know the end of the book! Bless God, and bless Israel. Some fun factoids from a recent article:
Since Operation Cast Lead against Hamas in the Gaza Strip where 1,300 people died, the UN has sent $200 million in aid to Gaza, through the Israeli "blockade".
Since the earthquake in Haiti, where over 230,000 died, the UN has sent $10 million in aid, through the ummm . . . U.S. air traffic controllers.
Obama has promised through Clinton to send $900 million to the Gaza strip because of Operation Cast Lead.
So far, $700 million has been sent to Haiti by the U.S.
Since Operation Cast Lead, over 320 rockets have been fired at Israel from the Gaza Strip.
Since the Haiti earthquake, no attacks have been launched on Israel from or by Haitians.

American Jews, for the most part, have little regard for Israel. I am Jewish so this criticism is not anti-semitic, it's my observation of my fellow Jewish Americans. They are too self-satisfied, too comfortable, and too involved in their own pursuit of material comforts to pay any attention to what's happening in Israel. There is still a heavy allegiance to the Democrat party. The reason: American Jews will not let go of the idea that Republicans are mostly Christians, and Christians, in their minds, are Jew-haters and persecuters. Quite the contrary, no group of people are more supportive of Judaism and Israel than American Christians.

This is a good sentiment, but unfortunately, certain US assets are bound by law to take Obama seriously and do his bidding. The US military and the State Dept. to name the most prominent. Obama controls two things that are critically important to Israel right now. Weapons and parts replenishment if they attack Iran's nuclear facilities, US financial aid.

The financial aid is not as important – Israel can go alone without that, but if Obama withholds parts and munitions, it will seriously cripple Israel's ability to sustain the kind of military intervention needed to take out Iran's nukes and defend its homeland afterward.

Finally, there is serious concern in Israel that, if Israel does find it necessary to launch a pre-emptive attack on Iran, Obama will order the US military to sabotage it.
