NPR terminated its contract this evening with Juan Williams, who worked with them as a senior political analyst, after Williams appeared on Bill O’Reilly and spoke of a “Muslim dilemma:”
The move came after Mr. Williams, who is also a Fox News political analyst, appeared on the “The O’Reilly Factor” on Monday. On the show, the host, Bill O’Reilly, asked him to respond to the notion that the United States was facing a “Muslim dilemma.” Mr. O’Reilly said, “The cold truth is that in the world today jihad, aided and abetted by some Muslim nations, is the biggest threat on the planet.”
Mr. Williams said he concurred with Mr. O’Reilly.
He continued: “I mean, look, Bill, I’m not a bigot. You know the kind of books I’ve written about the civil rights movement in this country. But when I get on the plane, I got to tell you, if I see people who are in Muslim garb and I think, you know, they are identifying themselves first and foremost as Muslims, I get worried. I get nervous.”
Mr. Williams also made reference to the Pakistani immigrant who pleaded guilty this month to trying to plant a car bomb in Times Square. “He said the war with Muslims, America’s war is just beginning, first drop of blood. I don’t think there’s any way to get away from these facts,” Mr. Williams said.
A taxpaying-funded organization fired someone over their free speech? No! Shocker!
NPR said in its statement that the remarks “were inconsistent with our editorial standards and practices, and undermined his credibility as a news analyst with NPR.”
Who could forget NPR’s cute guide to all things teabag? NPR had no problem with this: NPR’s “Learn to Speak Teabag:”

NPR doesn’t have a problem with statements like this on its airwaves:
I stick very rigorously to the evidence. You had the Nazis unloaded coffins at night. We saw coffins being unloaded at night. They talked about enhanced interrogation, meaning torture. Karl Rove talked about enhanced interrogation, meaning torture. They said, you know, we’ve got to invade Czechoslovakia, because it’s a staging ground for terrorists. We said we had to invade Iraq, a country we’re not at war with, because they’re torturing their ethnic minorities, it’s a staging ground for terrorists, and they hate our freedoms. I don’t need to draw an analogy. The analogies are there.
Can we stop pretending that this is serious radio and pull their public funding already?
Sad. Just as we thought they were becoming real.
*UPDATE #1: Interesting study just out from FAIR on PBS:
In a special November issue of studies and analyses of PBS’s major public affairs shows, FAIR’s magazine Extra! shows that “public television” features guestlists strongly dominated by white, male and elite sources, who are far more likely to represent corporations and war makers than environmentalists or peace advocates.s.
Can we stop force-funding television and radio now? If it’s not one of the enumerated powers of Article 1 Section 8, leave it alone.
UPDATE #2: CAIR calls on NPR to address Williams remarks.

Are Juan Williams’ statements worse that Obama’s regarding his grandmother?
“My grandmother… is a typical white person. If she sees somebody on the street that she doesn’t know, there’s a reaction in her that doesn’t go away and it comes out in the wrong way.”

Juan Williams has always been a stand up, honest guy. He said what he thought and admitted when he was wrong. NPR firing him was proof that our tax dollars need to stop going their way. DE-FUND NPR!
The Expert Knows http://theexpertsblog.blogspot.com
And then they came for Juan Williams.
Williams isn't insane, therefore NPR has no use for him. Defund NPR. Defund the Left.
Juan was merely speaking the truth of what many Americans already fear and know. Make no mistake Mr. Williams is a firm lefty but he's reasonable and he makes me think and re-analyze my beliefs which is what a good debate should do. It's a shame that so many people say that Fox news isn't "Fair and Balanced", yet they're the ones who give liberals like Juan Williams a platform for his ideas and NPR, cowards that they are don't.
Please finally defund this Soviet era media wing of the politburo.
Stop tax-payer dollars to funding the left and their lack of pursuit for real news an knowledge. We as conservatives need to let our voices be heard at the ballot boxes. VOTE! Save America from the Obummer assault and hold these newly christened senators to their pledges. America will not stand idly by as the liberals destroy our way of life. We have the majority. Get those out there that believe their vote doesn't count and show them how it does and complacency has put us where we are today.
Well… another case of Islamophobia. Just like the Washington Post's editorial board wet themselves over a cartoon that even mentioned Mohammed, so did the senior executives at NPR panic when someone DARED speak about his personal truth in the ongoing national discussion of where devout/ethnic Muslims fit into the American landscape.
Why this country is F'd up as you claiming to be a expert
Juan is a bigot racist who would love to get it on with either of the obama
He is always making it look like the whites are stupid and oh the poor negro
There is not a time on air where he is not pimping the black "change" meaning
Hey let's take over the USA and sit on our asses and collect welfare, free housing food, medical and oh ya they are slaves.
People like you are why the elections are already lost due to fraud, corrupt, rigged voting machines and the buddies of Juan from Acorn and SEIU.
Pull their funding. Now.
Funding for NPR should have been yanked 30 years ago, plain and simple. More accurately, it should never have been funded in the first place.
Juan …man have you been thrown under the bus & then some. While I disagree with most of your political views, you have been honest & forthright with your views, albeit wrong. And Geoge Soros has given $100 Million to NEW journalists for NPR. Guess YOU didn't make the Marxist-Socialist Mao-Loving Cut . May Fox News help pay you mortgage. Juan …may your reconsider you views …HelllllO.
They better ban Juan from Disneyland too. Check out what you see there:
http://www.bluecollarphilosophy.com/2009/08/updat...
We are sitting ducks.
I've always respected Juan Williams while hardly ever agreeing with him. Sure sometimes he spews talking points, but most of the time he presents what he thinks honestly, which is what he did here. So expressing your feelings honestly as an opinion commentator is inconsistent with NPR's standards. Hmm. I guess that makes sense if you have ever spent a miserable hour listening to them.
Political correctness run amok. I guess Juan should have added he was worried if they were "extremists" and not just any Muslim in order to have been correct and kept his job. The reality may be that NPR has been looking to fire him since their listeners complained that he was introduced on Fox News as a contributor. It got so petty that they decided it was okay to say it on some shows, but not others such as Hannity. What thin skin those NPR listeners have.
He will be heard by infinitely more without NPR, will sell more books without NPR, will get the Dem talking points as well as his own thoughts across to open minds without NPR. Except for pay, if much, what did he loose? For me, he is one of a few Dem pundits who I can listen to regularly. Even when he is only regurgitating talking points and not adding his own interpretation or insight, he is not shrill or offensive like so many others (Carville, Begala, etc.). Juan and Donna Brazille are about all that is left that can be reasoned with AND reasonable in my view.
Feel better? Could you try and make sense on your next rant? Or perhaps you are on an alternate Earth, of your own making, in your own mind.
Move it into the private sector and see how long it lasts.
National Putrid Radio.
It's time to bury this rotting corpse.
Are Juan Williams' statements worse that Obama's regarding his grandmother?
"My grandmother… is a typical white person. If she sees somebody on the street that she doesn’t know, there’s a reaction in her that doesn’t go away and it comes out in the wrong way.” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abPQ9kZe3ZA
Didn't Soros just get heavily involved with NPR? An infusion of cash, 100 new journalists (thats really stretching the definition). Clean house, purge the big names with established audiences. Soros wants a free hand with his new propaganda machine.
OMG. NPR FIRES JUAN? Are you kidding me?
THE WHEELS ARE COMING OFF THE ESTABLISHMENT.
(applause)
It's not that I'm against the idea of NPR. A 'business head' like me would rather give that money to a Sesame Street type of program directed by an Ann Coulter delegate but edited by a Pat Cadell.
Wow. Williams was one of the few social democrats I had even a modicum of respect for. This just shows that ideological purity counts for a lot more than critical thinking with the Left.
Defund NPR.
The progressives are going to make a conservative out of Juan yet. Come on over to the sane side, Juan! Then you can speak your mind without worrying about being pilloried.
Juan is always welcomed to Fox. NPR sucks as much as a Gay Military!
Maybe you should refrain from posting after polishing off that bottle of JD!
Great – NPR has become "Radio Free Islam" operating within our own borders and aiming pro-Islamic propaganda at us – by eliminating ANY criticizm of Islam – trying to indoctrinate Americans and doing their part to spread Islam and a lazy accepting dhimmi attitude.
This actually elevates ol' Juan Williams in my book – not alot – but he does have moments of clarity – this was definately one of them. Thanks for speaking the truth Juan – welcome to the "wrath of liberalism and political correctness" – two evil philosophies bent on destroying America.
Watch Joy Behar put in an application for Williams old job!
Not that I am in any way sticking up for a lefty docuhe like Juan Williams (two-faced weasels like him deserve no one's sympathy, even when they are in the right) but I honestly think that decent productive Americans shold take sledgehammers to all NPR antennas until we taxpayers get our money back from these swine.
I have always believed under the right circumstances it would be possible to seduce Juan Williams to the Dark Side.
This may be it.
The Left hates Juan Williams because he's on Fox News, and because he is an intellectually honest liberal, unlike the dishonest, fire-breathing progressives on MSLSD. It was only a matter of time.
Juan says so many crazy unsubstantiated LIBERAL opinions on FOX, it really makes me want to yell at the TV.
But do I think he should be FIRED by Fox because he states things the majority of the Fox viewers disagree with?
HELL NO.
Typical LEFTISTS as exemplified by NPR. Totally intolerant of ANY dissent. You'll find NO VOLTAIRES THERE.
So true. My family almost all listen to NPR, and have little interest in facts that contradict their worldview.
In the Liberal Progressive World the Truth doesn't set you free it just gets you Fired.
The left always eats its young.
Mind Boggling. Juan was a liberal stalwart — this means the marxists are purging the moderates. This was a little fascist style warning and a message that muslims trump blacks now.
It's now raining moderate liberals from the sky with hard landings. Do the marxists in the MSM really think they are going to survive and thrive when they are just as unpopular as Pelosi?
.
We should start courting Juan. He could be our best catch since Dick Morris.
i for one am shocked! no not, really. libs are dumping anyone & everyone who doesn't fall in line with their batcrap craziness. Juan will be fine, heck this might even be the wake up call he needed.
NPR is apparently to become an organ of the State. Soros moves in and Williams goes under the bus.
Just f'n pitiful. I'm outraged. Freedom of Speech?! LoL Political Correctness will literally kill us. Williams puts forth useful contemporaneous information about life and death but the mentally insane at taxpayer funded npr will have none of it. Just pitiful.
Naomi Wolf: "I stick very rigorously to the evidence… [The Nazis] said, you know, we've got to invade Czechoslovakia, because it’s a staging ground for terrorists."
Really, Wolf? You're telling me the Jewish shop owners, businessmen, mothers and school children in, then Czechoslovakia, were plotting and carrying out terrorists attacks on the Third Reich? Dear Skanky Bitch, you need serious mental care. Where is your 'very rigorous' EVIDENCE?
So, in Wolf's crap-basket of a mind, Nazis (the killers) enhanced interrogating helpless Jews is equivalent to America's enhanced interrogations of dedicated mass murderers to keep us from being killed?
She needs to stick to dressing Al Gore.
Over at Fox News as Juan's star is obviously and rightly rising now. If he's not a conservative by now then there's no hope for him after he's been thrown under the bus by his leftist buddies.
The way things are going Juan Williams in his role as "frequent quest" will probably be the token conservative on the O'Reilly Factor and Seah Hannity's show.
After watching Juan Williams for quite awhile on Fox, I could see him struggling with the Liberal mindset he has. More and more he was agreeing with the Conservative guests and hosts. While watching Fox News with friends over the past few weeks, I can't tell you how many times I have heard them ask "Is that Juan Williams???"; completely surprised by his position.
With Juan, I believe, we are watching a conversion of a Liberal into a Conservative in real time and now that NPR has canned him, that conversion may just move along faster.
And this is why you are more honorable than any progressive could hope to be…*you* understand and uphold the rights we, as Americans have.
I wonder, how much longer Mara Liasson has before Ye Olde Chopping Axe descends upon her fair, yet quasi liberal/oft times conservative head…?
No…Juan *is* free…free of employment <snort>
JD or Mad Dog 20/20?
Not a chance. George Soros has a lengthy list of his faves already lined up for the slot.
De-fund NPR February 2011
Put this condescending leftist pom-pom squad on the list
They were right to fear the TEA Party, I guess… we will ensure
their little ministry is toast
http://reaganiterepublicanresistance.blogspot.com...
I wonder if Gloria Allred, Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton will come to Jauns rescue?
Occasionally, I would listen to NPR during my commute, on a "know your enemy" basis, prior to the election of the pretender-in-chief. (Now, my patience will not tolerate it, as Fox accurately reports on the legislative-executive complex, and that is my maximum dose of broadcast leftism.) On the occasions when Juan came on the air, I usually thought he was out of place. Yes, he usually was left of center, but it seemed to me that he at least considered the opposing view, and didn't automatically demonize or dismiss it. He seemed out of place in that left-wing propaganda factory.
"Williams was one of the few social democrats I had even a modicum of respect for"…..Socialists do not want your (our) respect…they want total control over our lives!
Wow…just, wow. When NPR fires a black man for making comments about Muslims and Islam, you know the hour is getting VERY late.
NPR fired him because they are afraid the Muslims are going to get offended and leave a car bomb outside their main offices. Wow, whatever happened to freedom of speech in this country?
What good is trying to be tolerant of Islam when you can't say anything bad about it without that underlying threat of violence? And since a black man got unjustly fired over this, where are Jackson, Sharpton and Farrakhan?
Oh, BTW…DEfund NPR. Like, now.
More than anything, he appeared on Fox and laughed at Bill's joke in a warm and human way. That suggests that by proxy, NPR is chummy with Fox.
Soros doesn't like that.
The Fourth Estate is trying desperately to become the Despotic Estate. Power has corrupted them absolutely.
.
Time for action: get a list of your local contributors to NPR and put the pressure on them.
.
.
NPR probably didn't sell it's soul for a measly million either. I'm guessing that's just the tip of the iceberg.
.
Juan sometimes looked uncomfortable speaking the lib talking points. Now let's see where he goes.
YOU'RE FREE, JUAN, FREEEEE!
I am NOT a fan of Juan nor NPR, but this is BS plain and simple.
Defund NPR, DEFUND the Left (Completely!)
Maybe Juan can stop fooling himself now, and tell some more truths. Defund npr NOW!
more specifically………..And then HE came for Juan Williams. ………Old Man Potter, ya know….Spooky Dude.
(voice on radio) ……."and we're back, your listening to Nefarious Potterville Radio, we're commercial free and our guests all agree~! opposing viewpoints have been eliminated for your listening pleasure"
(The opinions expressed by our hosts as well as guests have literally been approved by Spooky Dude and are not open for discussion or dissent )
Let's put it this way. If I'm on a plane and I'm near a Muslim, I would be stupid not to know what he's doing. Doesn't mean I hate Muslims or think they're all jihadists. Just sayin'.
Some original purposes of NPR, as ratified by the Board of Directors, are the following
Let's see how they are doing:
* Provide an identifiable daily product which is consistent and reflects the highest standards of broadcast journalism.
FAIL (don't get me started on this one, speak tea blanker?..)
* Provide extended coverage of public events, issues and ideas, and to acquire and produce special public affairs programs.
FAIL (once someone expresses their real issues and ideas that need to be discussed, they are dismissed from the team)
* Develop and distribute programs for specific groups (adult education, instruction, modular units for local productions) which may meet needs of individual regions or groups, but may not have general national relevance.
FAIL: only if it fits the Liberal narrative can it be tolerated
* Produce materials specifically intended to develop the art and technical potential of radio
FAIL: You cannot develop the art and technical potential of radio while alienating the population.
Another organization that has "lost it's way" . They seem to be piling up.

WAIT A MINUTE!!
Our President doesn't want to go places where he may have to cover his head. He's afraid of how it would make him look Muslim. Can't Soros fire him for that? Please?
.
I guess NPR had to fire Juan to make room for the 100 new "journalists" that George Soros just bought them.
If I were Mara Liasson, I'd grow eyes in the back of my head. NPR already questioned her about her regular appearances on Fox News some time ago:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/12/07/npr-aske...
George Soros will hire him as some kind of spokensman
Well, every time I dial into NPR "I get worried. I get nervous.”
Juan never really fit in at NPR because he's not an extreme liberal. This was first evident to me because of his consistently civil behavior when debating the issues on FOX. I don't agree with most of his ideology, but I think he's a good person. That, in itself, rules him 'not a useful idiot' for the progressives.
Don't disparage Jack!
OK, so let's take a moment and examine the leadership. Who Is the President of NPR and is that person keeping up with the duties thus entrusted, we dare to ask?
wiki:
Vivian Schiller was born to Ronald Schiller, an editor at Reader's Digest, and Lillian Schiller of Larchmont, New York. She graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor's degree in Russian studies and Soviet studies, and a Master's degree in Russian from Middlebury College
OK< so someone pretty interested in "All Things Russian", got it. Everyone has different interests.
So let's check in with Vivian to see how she is doing…
In her role, Schiller is charged with assuring the fiscal, operational and journalistic integrity of NPR, building the organization and revenue base to further the public service mission of the NPR member network.
OK , yeah, not so sure about that "assuring the journalistic integrity of NPR" This lover of "All Things Russian" is disrespectful of 70% of the American nation who identifies favorably with the cause of the Tea Party and the American Way of Life by not denouncing that cartoon of "How to speak Tea Blanker". FAIL
Yeah, also not so sure about building the revenue base while offending and alienating the American listener. So, FAIL there too. It appears that Vivian is another leader that has "lost her way". They seem to be piling up around here.

I actually like Juan. Oh well, he'll land on his feet and he can certainly do better than NPR. Time to start hollering to the congress-critters to de-fund that sludge pot.
"lefty douche"? WTF man? He's allowed to have different political thoughts than you (just like you're allowed to call him a douche, I know)…but at least he thinks about things and is fairly reasonable.
Let us not forget Tavis Smiley's interview of Ayaan Hirsi Ali in which Smiley libels Christianity. The double standard and subjectivity are salient. At NPR, Muslims are the good guys, Christians are the bad guys, and truth is whatever serves that narrative.
What’s amazing here is the blatant irony of the Left screaming about freedom of the press, freedom of speech, racism, the evils of the rich, and Fox News and then in one fell swoop they fire a black member of the media for speaking his mind on a news organization that is now being bought out by a billionaire Leftist.
When the Right wins the House, it'll be time for us to demand that they pull NPR off the taxpayer teat.
Ah, but Gwen Ifill has an anytime, "by your leave" to mock Sarah Palin, ummmm?
I can't stand 90% of what Juan Williams says, but I stand 100% with his right to say it.
But I also stand with NPR that they have the right to fire someone IF THEY VIOLATE THEIR CONTRACT.
I hope Mr. Williams sues, I would be interested in the sworn testimony of NPR managements opinion.
And please remember that WE OWN NPR!
Why has the US lost it's way. Every time someone utters something less than flattering concerning Muslims, we tremble with fear and try to silence that voice. Have we lost our spine as Americans. The reality is that the vast majority of Muslims around the world hate America and just want for us to shut up and die. Islam trying to get along with every other religion are like oil and water. They may be able to coexist, but it is unlikely that they will ever mix peacefully. Our grandparents and great grandparents stood up and fought all manor of threat to our freedom and the American way. They saw an enemy for what it was and were not afraid to call a spade a spade. The greater number of Americans are sickened by political correctness but are afraid to speak out for fear of being labeled a bigot or racist. Our shaking with fear only lets the enemy know that they are winning the war to destroy America, and political correctness invites the enemy into our home.
Good post Expert, Juan has always been a reasonable guy who pays attention to facts unlike Colmes who never lets those get in the way.
It's bad enough Juan Williams has to do nightly yoga controtions just to try and defend the Left.
I mean it is not like he was caught red handed going to some Racist, Afro Centric church, where they spread hatred and they tell dangerous defamatory lies about thier own country and the White race, Oh I'm sorry that was Obama.
Seriously. Juan may be wrong about a lot of things, but he is always willing to come out and respectfully argue his points. He treats those he disagrees with with respect and has always been treated with respect by those on the right who've argued those points with him. In many ways, Juan is one of the last of the "old democrats", those who may be for more government on social issues, but I'm pretty sure Juan doesn't want to see America destroyed in the way that many on the left do these days.
Just more proof that there is no longer any room for honesty and integrity in the left's camp.
There is no longer any room for moderation at NPR……….
Need some amusement? Listen to the President of NPR speak -Vivian for 15 seconds. Skip to 7:30 in this video link at the bottom of the article. Actually, listen to the audience, it's obvious she does not.
http://blogs.wsj.com/speakeasy/2010/10/20/nprs-vi...
In my book Juan is now the most courageous man in the media.
Fire Juan Williams or defend his First Amendment rights? PBS or Juanito? Can I drink on that for a bit?
He does seem, sometimes, to be a little vulnerable to "the cure," doesn't he?
NPR always finds the "America is bad" angle for any story. To hell with them.
But why should we be surprised? This falls in line with the left's lemming/lockstep deathmarch.
Guess Juan will be signing that exclusive contract for FNC anyday now.
a true useful idiot.
NEW GOP Congress: Defund NPR!
Anyway, what are all those "spots" on PBS before and after their programs that start: "…funded in part by…"? Mr. C. and I always turn to one another and say, "But these are NOT commercials."
You need to understand the socialist/progressive mindset: The Truth is the New Hate Speech!
"NPR said in its statement that the remarks “were inconsistent with our editorial standards and practices, and undermined his credibility as a news analyst with NPR.”
NPR's standards and practices cut both ways. I figured out long ago that they are a liberal organ and not worth listening to. The truth is too precious.. Indeed, the liberal Utopia of NPR is a dangerous place where nobody can see evil coming let alone war others about it.
OK, lots of calls here to de-fund NPR/PBS. How do we actually go about doing that?
It is past time to eliminate funding for NPR. NPR is not public service radio, it is strictly another arm of the progressive liberal agenda. STOP THE PUBLIC FUNDING OF NPR!! STOP THE PUBLIC FUNDING OF NPR!! STOP THE PUBLIC FUNDING OF NPR!! Let George Soros do all the funding!! NPR is his mouthpiece anyway!!
It's clear that NPR hates black people.
Oh No !
Nerdy People's Radio is offended by the brutish, glowering, hate-filled Black Man !
Juan should immediately complain to Ben Jealous and demand that the NAACP investigate NPR's blatant racism !
If a white man had made the exact same comments, but was referring to black people instead of Muslims, I would NOT think "he's a racist," because I believe that racism is composed of hate rather than irrational fear. Still, I would think to myself, "you freaking idiot, there's this thing called 'reality,' and in the real world, you can't say those sorts of things without LOOKING racist."
Juan is a freaking idiot for his remarks. He helped the leftist Liberal/Progressive cabal by making all Muslims more sympathetic. O'Reilly was right to point out that the GZM is an affront to us because Muslims attacked us in the name of Islam — he was blaming the individuals and the ideology, not all of the followers of that ideology. Juan, however, displayed a prejudice against all Muslims based on nothing more than their appearance, which leads people to conclude that fear of Muslims is irrational and that all Muslims are being unfairly discriminated against.
NPR saw this as an opportunity to help make Muslims into victims of oppression, and capitalized on the situation. So, thanks Juan — you freaking idiot.
Now if we can just get Juan to saying that tax cuts cost the government money as though it ll belongs to government in the first place.
You guys didn't get behind Helen Thomas to defend her right for free speech.
Ultra_C : Speaking of "reality" …
"There is nothing more painful to me at this stage in my life than to walk down the street and hear footsteps and start thinking about robbery. Then look around and see somebody white and feel relieved."
~~ Jesse Jackson (1993)
I don't get it.
Juan Williams makes a comment that offends Muslims, gets fired, and everyone here is outraged.
Rick Sanchez makes a comment that offends Jews, gets fired, and everyone here cheers.
I guess you guys have a different interpretation of political correctness than I do.
Besides, Williams wasn't fired for his comments. NPR was just looking for an excuse to fire him because they are mad that he goes on Fox News all the time.
about as long as "Err America" did, if that…
maybe, just maybe a couple things a new conservative congress could do is to finally drive a stake thru the blood-sucking, bleeding hearts of NPR & the NEA. talk about pointless, wasteful govt spending!
Could someone somewhere please explain to me the difference between the comments made by Mr Williams regarding Muslims on airplanes and what Jesse Jackson said several years ago about the relief he felt walking down a darkened street and looking back to see the footsteps following him were being made by a white guy?
Behind every apparent double standard, lies an unconfessed single standard.
Juan Williams is a Liberal along the lines of JFK. I believe that a lot of what President Kennedy said would get him fired by NPR today.
You can disagree with Mr. Williams but you also can have a constructive conversation with him. I admire him and I hope his other employers give him raises to offset the loss of his NPR income. If Liberals cannot tolerate him (and it is about HIM; this is not a "hate the sin and love the sinner" kind of thing) then they are unfit to govern a free people. I also don't want them teaching children or remaking my favorite movies.
And if there is retributive justice then Nina Totenburg will get bedbugs.
So there.
Juan has been sent back to the porch, just as Warren Ballentyne suggested he should be.
What we are witnessing is the behavior of a mob. There very existence and strength is derived from their numbers, not the strength of their argument. They are the quickest to turn on anyone who isn't in full lock step because not only does the defection reduce the size of the mob, more often than not the reason for the defection is that the defector has identified a logical fallacy (aka a lie), thus at the same time reducing the strength (as it were) of the argument.
To predict that this is what will happen to libs when Muslims turn on them is as easy as shooting fish in a barrel. It should be a cautionary tale to Maude Behar and Whoopie (F*** am I ugly) Goldberg in their rabid defense of all things Islamic. Just as they are more than willing to turn on someone who isn't part of the mob, they will be similarly thrown under the bus (or in this case, under the flying carpet) when there are more muslims in the gang than white libs.
