If you are wondering why some folks are starting to question whether a college education is worth the cost, the video below goes a long way towards explaining it. Recently, the University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL) and the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) sponsored two college courses: Introduction to Labor Studies and Labor Politics and Society, to be taught simultaneously through a video conference between to two campuses.
The Professors are Judy Ancel, Director of Labor Studies at UMKC and Don Giljum, business manager for the International Union of Operating Engineers at Ameren UE in St. Louis. (Bonus: he is a member of the Communist Party.)
In the class, the Professors not only advocate the occasional need for violence and industrial sabotage, they outline specific tactics that can be used. As one of our colleagues pointed out, its the matter-of-factness of it all that is so disturbing.
And yes, the schools, and the professors’ salaries, are funded by taxpayers.

This is happening because Obama is both a National Socialist and a Fascist.
Most people associate those philosophies with Hitler's racial policies, but that was strictly a German phenomenon that Hitler added onto the other two. National Socialism is precisely that, NATIONAL Socialism, as distinguished from INTERNATIONAL Socialism.
Fascism and Corporatism are two sides of the same coin.
In Corporatism, private corporations achieve DE FACTO control over the levers of governmental power and direct the policies of government to their own benefit. In Fascism, the Government takes DE JURE control of private enterprise and directs it's activities to serve the interests of the State.
In Capitalism by the way; the government takes no sides, chooses no winners or losers in private enterprise and neither tries to help or hurt private enterprise. If the government BEGINS to do this, Capitalism degenerates into Crony Capitalism, which eventually mutates into either Corporatism or Fascism, depending on which side seizes control. And now that you know what Fascism and National Socialism are, I simply refer you to Obama's track record. You can include Reid, Pelosi and an unfortunately large amount of the Democrat party.

I've been saying since my first semester of college that the educational benefit of higher education is limited at almost every institution since there is no oversight into who is hired as a professor, nor is there any repercussions for professors who indoctrinate students instead of teaching their assigned course. For example, I took an environmental science course last fall, and everyday we were barraged with my professor's Marxist rants and telling us that a vote for Republicans was a vote for evil and cited moveon.org for every argument he had. When I dropped the class and complained, there was no discipline for this professor since he had tenure and was the head of his department. We are seeing more students leave school with degrees they know nothing about because most college professors use their position to vent instead of teach, and until this changes, higher education is a sunk cost on every student.
I was going to respond to dumass above but I just can't torture myself like that. Him nor his idiot cohorts understand that it's union demands that have sent jobs overseas and everything the unions continue to have their hands in are in real trouble, think automakers, think teacher unions,etc. Pay alot get very little. One good thing is companys and familys can easily determine the best places to live, if it's a blue state it's high union, high crime, and soon to look like Detroit.
