- Media enacts DNC talking points on blaming tea party for congressional gridlock.
- Jay Gray, the reporter who got sauced with Sandusky’s equally creepy attorney as a way to win an exclusive interview (and was later arrested on DUI charges) may have been axed from the beat. The New York Post reports:
NBC’s Jay Gray may soon be taken off the Jerry Sandusky story, after he was arrested for DUI earlier this month …
… we’re told he “was kicked off the story” and left Pennsylvania this week. Another insider said Gray was on a family vacation, and the network “hasn’t made a decision” if he’ll continue to cover Sandusky.

It only took 22 minutes this Monday morning for me to become livid over what the Obama Administration is doing to our country and military. There is one article which should be on this list this morning:
Now Muslims get to wear Hajibs in OUR military.

I saw that. You used to be able to count on the military to apply rules equally, but now it's exceptions for this group and exceptions for that group. I guess if someone doesn't want to take an oath, that'll be okay by next week too.
Rather than blame Bush, the progs are now blaming the TEA party movement for everything. Ho hum. Socialists, dims, and the toddler have to blame someone for their misadventures and partisan stupidity since it is against their philosophy to ever accept any responsibility for their actions or inaction.
Anger is not descriptive enough for how I feel about this issue.
The story is about junior ROTC which means high school kids. In the US, religious freedom is only for those who do not believe in Jesus. We need to do away with “special” rights, either everybody can have religious freedom in public schools or nobody can.
Don't be TOO mad. It's only JROTC.
For now.
how else is Obama going to get HIS military?
Y'know, the one with 'the same weapons as our standing military has'? Got all of those white southern christian heterosexual officers out there; Bush's military might not follow unconstitutional orders.
'Northwoods' will need VERY compliant soldiers…
it's all part of The Narrative.
The progressives have Their Story- which WILL be told, daily, irrespective of the truth. All facts that do not support The Narrative will either be ignored- or twisted to fit. This is classic Walter Lippmann, and they are all devotees of his teachings.
He taught all journalists have a duty to a 'higher truth' (progressive ideals) than reporting a story accurately.
You can see it still works, many decades after his death…
Cordes may have unwittingly praised the conservative movement when she said, "Tea Party House Republicans…have no interest in political expediency."
IMHO that's nothing to be ashamed of. Instead of pandering, they are causing people on the Hill to take a position and defend it. These conservatives are making it known that they won't play the bum's rush game at the end of the year.
"Political expediency" gave us the immigration mess, the welfare mess, the tax code, the lack of ethics, the deficit, the trade imbalance, Obamacare…
I would be more than pleased if political expediency were eradicated from Washington.
just because you read the documents and the gov admits it has a marshal law agenda doesn't make you any less of a "kook"… (sarcasm))
kooks, indeed are we all…
May The Powers That Be believe this as well…
To be fair, it's JROTC, not even remotely close to "OUR military" so inform yourself before you become everything we hate about liberals.
Well spiffy, these folks are in preparation for our military. This is the foot in the door and if you can't see that through your insults, than you are no better than a Media Matters bot.
It is NOT okay because it is JR ROTC. It is more brainwashing and confusion, if not defeatism, being served up to American kids by public schools on YOUR dollars.
and how long before the United States Military does this, we are bending over backwards to kiss feet of Fort Hood Shooter, claiming all manner of crap as reason for what he did instead of terrorism
