An Associated Press article dated Janary 27, 2010 on the incident involving James O’Keefe at Louisiana Senator Mary Landrieu’s office was published by the Dallas Morning News with the following misleading headline:
There are no allegations of any attempt to “bug” or wiretap Sen. Landrieu in the FBI affidavit, and a law enforcement official has conceded that the four men were not attempting to wiretap or intercept calls. Furthermore, legal representation for the accused has gone on record stating there were no intentions to wiretap.
We kindly ask the Dallas Morning News to issue a correction/retraction to this story.
We have been/will be making similar requests of other news sources to correct similar errors. Some, such as the Washington Post, MSNBC’s David Shuster, Talking Points Memo, CBS News, and the Associated Press have already posted corrections or retractions.

Is there a list of which have issued corrections and which are ignoring the requests?

I am concerned for the Alpaca – if they are trying to keep up with the misrepresentation of facts by the MSMedia, that they will have no more luck than LUCY & ETHEL on the chocolate candy assembly line.

There will be round-ups, but want to give these folks a chance.
Thanks, I look forward to finding out who steps up.
Keep pushing till the last lair comes out with correction!
Keep pushing them until the last one of those who spread the lie issues a correction.
We kindly the Dallas Morning News to issue a correction/retraction to this story.
what happened? didja blow your budget on adverbs?
'Domo Arigato' Mr. Retracto!
'Domo Arigato' Mr. Retracto!
That is the well know but liitle used "French student" in America dialect.
It's also used in Japan & China.
King 5 News in Seattle also repeated the falsehood. I can't find the video of it online, but their viciously leftist reporter joyously announced this news. Claiming the attempt was to tap the phones.
It's about time someone called out the mainstream media for these smear campaigns. I would suggest legal action against those who don't offer retractions and apologies. They tried, convicted and (in Mr. Shuster's case) even sentenced people, while inventing crimes not even mentioned in the FBI affidavit. Who could get a fair trial with this type of media lying running 24/7 on TV, in the press and on the web? How can they get away with this?
Boycott the MSM…

It would be interesting to look back and see how many of these publications reported on the Acorn tapes and when they reported it, if at all. They lost no time getting this story out there, did they.
Having missed the inception of this most valuable feature, I am reduced to asking: Why a retraction Alpaca? Was Big Journalism's budget insufficient to engage a retraction Manatee? Or a retraction Giant Ground Sloth? Or that most formidable member of the profession, a retraction Mandrill?
Inquiring minds want to know!
This is hilarious, Look at that face and those furry ears and try to imagine how the MSM feels about receiving a retraction request from an Alpaca. I want the t-shirt.
Retracto – Please post the section/page/location of the article and of the retractions if/when they occur.
IMHO retractions need to be placed in the same location and typeface size as the original item.
Headline on page A1 above the fold in 72 point type saying Wiretap. Retraction on c17 in 9pt just is not right.
Good job of rounding up the usual suspects.

No doubt we will be hearing from PETA soon.
A retraction Manatee? OK, now you're just being silly.
