Last week, we asked the New York Times to correct an article by James C. McKinley Jr. that falsely claimed FBI informant and BigGovernment contributor Brandon Darby “encouraged” the left-wing terrorist plot to firebomb the 2008 RNC convention on which he blew the proverbial whistle. First, we pointed out that this assertion had been debunked by both the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Minnesota and one of the convicted plotters. We then brought in journalist Matthew Vadum, an expert on Darby’s incredible story, to write up a more comprehensive article to provide broader context to the Times’s smear. But the record went uncorrected.
So we pressed the Times even more, this time getting another expert on this case, James Walsh of the Minneapolis Star Tribune, to reach out to Mr. McKinley and point out the egregious error in the NYT piece. We were forwarded the following email written by Mr. Walsh (emphasis added):
I sent an email to the NYT reporter this morning. In it, I said that I covered the case and that Darby was never proven to have encourage or participated in any violence. I told the reporter that [David McKay] made that assertion and won a hung jury, but later admitted that he lied when it became apparent that [Neil] Crowder would testify against him.
I got this response:
“Thank you for you letter and for straightening us out on that point. Yours. Jim”

According to Walsh’s email, Times reporter James C. McKinley Jr. is now crystal-clear that there was never any evidence to suggest Mr. Darby did anything to encourage the plot to murder Republicans, yet his article remains uncorrected.
For over a week now, the “newspaper of record” has allowed the record to contain a horrendous falsehood against an American patriot who saved countless lives. This is not just a journalistic faux pas, it’s quite possibly libel.

The Socialist Rags and Reporters not only have a hard time at printing truth …they've an even harder time admitting for all to see that they were wrong in what was reported. No one likes to be wrong. But these guys take it one step further by reporting "falsehoods and omitted's" as regards the Right and "embellishments and withholding damning truth's" when it come to the Left.
By now you should know that the liberal media has moved beyond simple bias, they are hate speech organizations. Their actions appear calculated to inflame hatred against conservatives, stimulate violence, then provide cover in the media by not reporting on the activities. That is unless it was a conservative that did it, then not only will they report it, but embelish it as this article shows.

Well right now the NYT is too busy investigating the bomb threat against Gov. Walker of this past Wednesday to chase down old news like the Darby Affair.

What shame that the Liberal media won't even forget their bias to report a story accuratly when a Conservative is involved. We Conservatives have a long road ahead of us in restoring this country and it doesn't help our effort when "journalists" can't even report a story without unneccessarily smearing a hero. I think that the problem with the liberal NYT is that they don't consider it very important that they correct something that they wrote that was incorrect because to them Darby was a traitor to the vile extremists with whom he worked. They consider anything Darby did or didn't do to be irrelevant because he is a traitor to their ideology. To them it is the same as reporting that lady gaga wore a red dress when she actually wore a blue one. That this man's reputation has been besmirched is of no concern to them.
Just call it what it is, a propaganda rag whose whole purpose is to manipulate the "news" to further the overthrow of the constitution. Yes, everything that exists now in NYC is there as a foundation for the spread of communism. Just look at the city and it is obvious it is not run by the public but by the unions and their political proxies. Heck, it doesn't even follow the same law as the rest of the state. For all practical purposes it is a political entity of it's own. It is a tumor that has no cure and is killing the rest of the state and it constantly sends out little potentates just like Chicago. A more than reasonable effort to offer info to correct their slander. Just sue them NOW. The left has made most of their positions through the use of frivolus lawsuits and then settlements to move the overton window. We need to start doing the same thing.

At one time, the success of the NYT was attributed by its supporters to its dedication to journalistic standards.
By that measure, one can only conclude one of two things:
1) The New York Times is on the brink of collapse because it has abandoned its journalistic standards or,
2) FoxNews kicks ass because cynicism sells more than truth.
