If you did not think that the American media has declared war on the public, think again. War is on, and I am not overstating this.
We have taken years to get to this point, but two incidents last week make it very clear that the line in the sand has been drawn. The activist old media virtually ignored these two major stories.
Barack Obama hires a new NASA administrator who says it’s his foremost job to do outreach to Muslim Nations (crazy me, I thought launching rockets and space ships is what NASA does).
And a whistleblower tells us that the Obama administration has no interest in prosecuting race crimes if it’s a black person committing the alleged crime against a white person (the same guy also said kill “cracker” babies, but no biggie–Mel Gibson is the out of control guy who deserves ALL of the coverage).
Neither story was covered or given any significant play by the national media. I cannot monitor all the local media, but since I worked in that biz for 30 years, I know how they do what they do. As a news anchor, if I went to the producers and asked them to cover one of these two stories mentioned above, I would’ve been laughed out of the news room. If it’s a non-local story and it ain’t in the news wires, it didn’t happen. Local TV news and newspapers don’t have time to cover these national stories unless they are handed to them and they can just cut and paste. It’s getting worse as staffs get smaller.
It’s clear for all to see the networks and many newspapers have cast their lot with this President. They have made the decision to go down with this ship. While virtually ignoring these two stories mentioned above, they have spent plenty of time this week and last trying to figure out where LaBron James will be playing and pressuring the Republican Party to fire LaBron James
Many in the local media know exactly what I’m saying, many agree with me. Since writing on this blog, I have heard from many of them, but they know they have to save their jobs and acquiesce. They read the scripts as given to them and know that they are deceiving the public, and ultimately destroying the business they work in, but it’s a jungle out there and they are doing what they are doing to keep their jobs. Few people are brave enough to stand up. I did a few times but those are stories I will save for another day.
You want to know why the old media is dying? Agenda. Plain and simple. Don’t delude yourself it’s anything but that.
It seems those in the business would rather see ratings and subscriptions drop to zero than turn on Dear Leader. They are all in. War is on.

Today's journalists, er, propogandists are too late to the party. There are other sources of information now. That is precisely why Obama want to be able to control the internet.
We must not allow that to happen.
Yes, these stories are important; NASA and the New Black Panther Party.
There is other news happening in thw world as we speak. For three days now, the Big Sites have been obsessed with Race. Every Black writer they could find has showed up, to write a denouncement of the NAACP. Unfortunatley, in my sometimes skewed, jaded and cynical opinion, it is too little too late. They are ALL running down the tracks, trying to catch the train after it has left the station.
I am beginning to be concerned that the Big Sites are already getting entrenched and operating with a MSM mindset. If this stays new and fresh, it'll continue to work. If it becomes stale, it will just be another echo chamber like the Huffington Post. After three days of this, it is becoming stale.
Somebody at the Bigs ought to call a staff meeting, and get out in front of the ball.
I have to agree. Offense, offense, offense. After several days's it's sounding defensive and boorish.
The space program has been cut back, yet it is still being funded, now we know where those funds will be directed.
The best offense is NOT a good defense. Somebody better wake up.
I thought the primary function of a news outlet was to FIND NEWS? This is so very sad, because there was a time when the networks actually covered major news stories and actually wanted to "break" some scoops, thereby outdoing one of the other networks. Sadly, this time has long passed and now you have mush for news that isn't news at all, but just a promo for whatever the White House is releasing that day. It makes me sick to see the lack of any desire on the part of the networks to even challenge the current administration, let alone ask them any real probing questions. I guess when you have a Democrat in the White House you can afford to take a 4-year break from journalism. No wonder nobody watches them anymore.
If this is a war then the MSM has already lost.
I have been telling everyone that would listen that Olinsky is winning and winning big…..we have to look ahead at the next fight and that is climate change legislation. Dingy Harry is getting ready to slip carbon tax into the oil spill bill, according to Newt at AmericanSolutions………….. The answer isn't another petition that will be ignored the answer is —Cut taxes on all forms of alternative energy in place of taxing all energy– If we don't come up with a message that speaks to more Americans cap and tax will become a reality IMO!!!
Harry Reid is about to sneak an energy tax into the Gulf Oil Spill bill. Disguised as an attempt to introduce new safety measures for offshore drilling, Reid is actually using this disaster and playing off the hardship of the American people on the Gulf Coast as a way to play politics and increase your taxes.
Help us stop this new tax today. Call your Senators today and tell them you do not support this job-killing energy tax plan, and that measures to address the oil spill in the Gulf should be introduced without playing politics.
Also, please join over 218,000 other American Solutions members and sign the petition to Stop the Energy Tax so we can reach our goal of 250,000 signatures by Friday.
The idea behind Reid's approach is that Senators will not want to vote against new oil drilling safety measures in the wake of the Gulf spill no matter if the bill also contains new energy taxes. He's using this tragedy to punish you for driving to work, adjusting your thermostat, and powering your home.
Join us by telling your Senators that it's time for Harry Reid to stop exploiting a disaster to help fund his big government agenda. Please call your Senators today.
Reid's global warming plan will likely limit how many tons of carbon dioxide electric utilities can emit, which makes it a massive new tax on energy that will kill jobs and send electricity prices skyrocketing.
To give you an idea of exactly how destructive Reid's plan could be, a recent study found that cap and trade could kill 5 million jobs over the next few decades and cost each taxpayer thousands of dollars in higher energy costs.
Addressing oil drilling safety in the wake of the Gulf oil rig disaster is too serious to be held up by a wildly unpopular effort by Senate liberals to impose a new energy tax on all Americans. Senate liberals should promote their new energy taxes in a separate bill and not waste any more time in passing oil drilling reforms.
But that won't happen, because the Left knows new energy taxes are unpopular with the American people, and a bill that would kill jobs and raise the cost of energy would go down in flames.
In the meantime, we'll track what happens with the energy bill and keep you updated. http://www.americansolutions.com/energytax/
You are absolutely correct.
Breitbart is off chasing rabbits.
This NAACP, New Black Panthers Party is an intentional distraction. Put forth either by the Administration, or the Clinton Dirty Tricks Machine. It is working well.
I remember on election day 2008 watching LIVE the original report from the polling place about the new Black Panthers intimidating voters. I haven't counted them, but in the last three days, I'd bet there were at least 50 articles, with Black America coming out, denouncing the NAACP, and the Black Panthers.
I have a challenge for them, in the form of a question:
"Where the F**K were you in November 2008?
Why the time lag? Did it take you this long to play catch up?"
Frankly, they are all obligatory articles. Too little, too late.
I've been saying for a looooong time that the news media isn't promoting news. They are promoting an AGENDA!
I agree to some extent, but I want to have black writers make their opinions known. God knows they have paid the price within the black community to write on the Bigs and the MSM isn't going to give them the ink or the time of day.
I believe DAT ship sailed decades ago.
We've just been waitin for the wake to run outta beer before we turn out the lights.

I do agree with you as well.
It is a fine line, while balancing a double edged sword.
Hopefully, Breitbart will find a happy medium and things will balance out.
While I welcome all those folks opinions, the skeptic in me says it is too little too late. Why now? Why not two years ago? Maybe it just took them this long for the Tea Party to give them the courage to grow a set of balls.
What else can I do?
I already refuse to watch ANY programming on CNN, NBC,ABC,CBS or MSNBC. I don't buy any newspapers. I never buy or read Time, Newsweek, People, etc. I am taking my news from FoxNews who I do believe is mostly balanced but perhaps tilted right in news presentation (opinion shows are not my concern here). I read NR and NRO. I see maybe 3 movies at the theatre in a year.
I'm already boycotting the media. What else can I do to express my disapproval at the way they have betrayed the public?
The cold truth is, those fifty or so post are pretty much the only conservative bright spot of this whole Presidency. To little to late?? Likely so
…………The distraction and timing is intentional, dims cannot run on the legacy of massive debt as far as the eye can see so they play the divide and smear game that always controls the MSM message.
Here's the thing. Most people don't get upset about something unless they can see it affecting them directly. Even then, what can they do about it? Write a letter to the editor? Even the TEA party activity hasn't been able to stop the Dems from doing what they want. They shoved healthsteal through, and they just passed the financialrape bill. Cap and tax and amnesty are next. The only way to stop them (short of storming D.C. and physically removing them all) is to cut off their funding. As in, EVERYONE pulls a Timmy. Unfortunately, I don't foresee either scenario happening.
This NEEDS to be kept fresh in everyone's mind. NEVER FORGET!!!
We are being set up for an October surprise. Something that will give the regime an excuse to cancel the November election. The DEMOCRATS will not give up their power easily. I smell gasoline in the Reichstag.
Well, I have mixed thoughts on that.
I tend to agree, but Hillary is fixing to run, because Bill wants HIS perks back.
He is entitled, donchaknow.
I wonder, could Bill be Hillary's VP?
They would win, hands down, and immediately have the Royal Coronation.
There are so many tipping points to choose from…
I thought when the MSM completely ignored the first Tea Party rallies, rallies that had hundreds and even thousands attending, that it was no longer a "free press" but a wholly owned part of the Democratic party.
What you are doing is effective. Look at the financial trouble the film industry is in. I doubt they will be financing any more anti-military Iraq movies since the last 10 have failed miserably. Newsweek, Time and all of the previously powerful news magazines and the networks are on the verge of bankruptcy because of people like you and me who will no longer support their drivel. Fox is powerful- their ratings now generally equal the other 3 cable networks combined, so take heart that the message is slowly getting out there.
I AM the leader of the TEA Party and I reject racism in all of its forms!
Hey Ron,
I sure hope that those friends of your are smart enough to quietly put out feelers for jobs in this New Media. Sites like the Bigs and Fox News will survive the advertiser's blood bath when they have finally had enough. The Wall Street Journal is gaining readership also for those in print media.
At some point in time, the polarity of the news business is gonna' flip! It will be then when reputation will be so much more important than relationships.
Simple, boycott the advertisers. I know it takes some work and a bit of money, but if I can do it, anyone else can too.
I check to see what products are advertised in magazines such as Newsweek and U.S. Today and search the internet for contact information. I write a polite letter explaining that the publication, program or what have you is being disingenuous or ignoring facts and other information in it’s news coverage and articles. While I enjoy their product, I can no longer in good conscious purchase from them as they support said news organization with their advertising dollars. I am only one man, so one letter does little. But if thousands or hundreds of thousands wrote letters and emails, then maybe something will change.
What do I know? I learned recently I'm just an ordinary cracker. My only reason to exist is to hate blacks. My life and the life of my child and her mother has been threatened because we are white. Since then I have acquired a an arsenal. Just in case. Over 1000 rounds for various and assorted weapons.
NBP doesn't scare me. but safe is always better than sorry.
Where are these stories other than Big and Fox. People should be aware. LSM won't inform them.
I just can't wait to vote for the 1st WOMAN Pres…….Yippie!!!!
It WILL be HISTORIC…!!!???!!!
"We've just been waitin for the wake to run outta beer before we turn out the lights"
Seems like they have yet to realize their "party is almost over"…Dandy Don Meredith… circa "78
I read this stuff continually and I read the posts that follow and still have to ask: what is the answer?
Continued pressure. Every time that you respond and engage, we win just a little more. There is so much to push back against, but slow and steady will win.
Yeah, its hilarious that they ignored the massive Tea Party rallies at first but covered the first (possibly only) very, very, lightly attended Coffee Party.
You're right CL, looking through the Big's, it's getting harder and harder to seperate the fill from the meat.
I see Beck charging down the (right) track along side those on the wrong track, while many contributors here on the Big's are mirroring Hannity's cheerleading style.
Cheerleading has it's place but it doesn't put points on the board. We need players on the field.
Mr. Breitbart has a lot on his plate, and we all have indigestion from the crap being served us, but I think he really needs to have more day to day involvement to keep these sites on the cutting edge.
I AM the leader of the TEA Party and I reject racism in all of its forms!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-8h_v_our_Q&fe...!
See below, take a stand now and spread the word!
I'm in agreement with all points regarding the direction the BIG sites are headed. I saw it happen with FNC and have since pushed the power button on the boob tube. What made FNC and the BIGs great was they reported on stories the other media wouldn't touch. Now it seems they are falling into the same trap… beating the same story into the ground until we don't care anymore. I hope AB can here our cat calls, If not he may just hear crickets. With that said, I'm still luvntheBIGsites.
I agree with every post above. We need to stay on the cutting edge and have stories that reflect what the adminsitration is doing behind our backs. The rascism issue has served as a perfect distraction. While it's important, there might be an October surprise and we need to stay focused on everything and there is so much "everything", it's mindboggling.
#1. You cannot establish sound security on borrowed money.
#2. You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.
#3. You cannot keep out of trouble by spending more than you earn.
#4. You cannot build character and courage by destroying men's initiative and independence.
#5. And you cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they can and should do for themselves.

I disagree. I believe, as many here do, that the NAACP resolution is a red herring to deflect from the DoJ/NBPP story. If this story goes away, so does that one. This whole racebaiting-as-political-tactic crap has to stop. In my opinion there can't be enough reporting on it or enough denunciations of the NAACP by black leaders. The NAACP wanted a war, they got it. Let's dig up their racist past and throw it back in their faces! I say fight it out!
wow…..Dandy Don…
Went to TCU with him! My taste ran more to Staubach far as the game went, but Don was a hoot and a half. My cousin is Dan Jenkins. He was a force to be reckoned back in the day too. And the doomsday boys…..good stuff.
TSTOMP-er
Your cousin Dan Jenkins was the epitome of "Semi-Tough"…
Great read and an ok movie…
Better than Willie "mr biodiesel" Nelson
I agree, it's frustrating that no one's doing–or calling for doing–anything actually effective. Calling, writing, emailing our elected officials does no good. The tea parties rallies, encouraging and uplifting as they are, are easily ignored by the politicians. All of it essentially boils down to talk, which the politicians can and do ignore. They do whatever they want despite what we want, and they know we won't stop them, we'll just talk and rally some more, and they'll just ignore us some more. And they know full well the Republicans will NEVER have the guts to repeal what they have enacted, so they don't fear losing elections. Once they ram their agenda down (including activist judges on the courts) they know it's *permanent.*
Most people just say "well, we'll get 'em at the polls" and "Remember in November," but assuming we could overcome the problem of the leftwing media slanting the narrative on everything and the hordes of gov't-dependent voters voting, I don't think that will be our cure, because voter fraud on every level (even now encouraged by the DOJ) will steal our elections, and conservatives have shown they have no appetite or backbone for actually fighting voter fraud and intimidation.
I don't want any violence or anything, but I do want someone to come up with a plan for doing something that WORKS, for heaven's sake!!
Yeh….hoot and a half don't cover him. Funny.
Hey now…..Willie's just Willie. And you might be surprised how many rural folks make and use that biodiesel for equipment and ranch trucks and such. Saves a ton and puts that pot of fat they fried that turkey in to good use, lol.
Remember a couple years back the deal with the bags of tainted spinach that were killin folks? Willie got busted with a used salad bag full of pot. When the DPS tried to lecture him about the danger of drugs Willie said, "Hell, I'm just glad it wasn't spinach or I'd be DEAD!"
…ah Willie. Another original.
A good direction of focus might be on the education system, for it is there that so many stupid people are being churned out, people who have no idea about the founding of the US, the principles (and principals, judging by the fact that the dumber than a fifth grader kids didn't know who Reagan was), people who think the purpose of gov't is to give them money from Obama's stash.
These brain dead idiots, in the classroom and at the front of the classroom and particularly in the education bureaucracy, are purely and simply indoctrinating children, churning out the next crop of Obama voters.
I like to cite the local story (way up here in Canada) that illustrates the progression.
A middle school student from the EcoQuest program last spring wrote a letter to the editor insisting that Tim Horton drive thru lanes be banned because CO2 is destroying the planet; that we must adopt more "environmentally progressive policies like in Europe."
Then last winter, just before Copenhagen, some high school students marched on the the local Member of Parliament's office demanding that the Harper gov't "Do Something" about climate change.
Then this past spring, some university students succeeded in getting an Ann Coulter appearance cancelled.
As you can see, the middle school idiots become the high school idiots who become the university idiots who become the next generation of politicians or activists or teachers, and the cycle repeats itself.
Oh, and a cute little epiloge to the story is that several students from the EcoQuest program appeared this past spring on a local radio station. They were well versed in Media Studies, Immigration (particularly government policy regarding the licensing of skilled immigrants; geez, I wonder where a 13 or 14 year old would know that from…?), BUT, BUT, BUT!!! when an adult phoned in and asked them what they thought of ClimateGate, they stuttered and muttered that "that hasn't come up yet."
So, these students, participating in a program whose very sina qua non is man made devastation of the fragile planet knew NOTHING about the biggest scandal to hit their 'industry.' Obviously, these kids know ONLY what the teachers tell them, and they know only what the teacher tells them to think.
In conclusion, unless and until the education system is fixed, the rest of this discussion seems to be an exercize in futility.
You're doing more than most, so kudos. On the boycott….tell the companies why you are boycotting them. It's not enough not to buy. They will chalk it up to the economy. Make sure they know why YOU ain't buyin their products or their propaganda. I say propaganda cause they aren't payin for air time on these LOSER NETWORKS for money. They are literally propping up the left wing mantra in media.
And write them a real letter….no phone call. Tell them you LOVE their product. But you do not see what POLITICS has to do with shampoo, or toothpaste or cars or any consumer product. Tell them when they SNAP OUT OF IT you will buy their product again. Their choice. Politics or business. Pick one.
A bunch of folks did this for Beck when they tried to sue him over Goldline….actually in reverse. I bought a big old $20 Gold Liberty Coin for a necklace and TOLD THEM WHY I WAS DOING IT. TO SUPPORT BECK. Apparently so did a lot of folks cause I see Goldline still sponsors Beck and so far I don't see the suit growin legs. Holder's been kinda busy takin fire on ten other STUPID DOJ DECISIONS though so we'll have to see.
Our dollars, our choices, and our WORDS make a difference. It's endless, and tiring, but every now and then when you see it makes a difference….you get a second wind and keep on keepin on.
Yeah, it aggravates me when people say, "Oh, we'll just vote them out." So what? That won't mean anything unless the Repubs stop being Dem Lite and act like real conservatives. How do we get real conservatives on the ballot? The only thing I can think of is to get involved in the local process and weed out the RINO's. It's going to be a long road back, if we even make it.
In the meantime, the good news is that the media AND the Dem party (redundant, I know) are marginalizing themselves. We need to get humping if we're going to take full advantage of it, though.
This is whats bringing America down, people going with the flow because they need a job, ummmmm, didn't I read a story come out of Iran about a police officer beating a woman all the while telling her he was sorry,he needs the job to feed his family,he plead with the woman to go home, she would not,she took the beating because she had conviction, moral cowards, every last one.Thank God there are people who take a stand in the face of diversity.
I neglected to congratulate you on hitting 100 PTS !!….The day after me!! lol…
Willie is the George Carlin of music…Saw Willie and Dan Fogelberg at Universal Amp in LA in 1989…
He still looks and sounds the same….!!
DTOM
I'm sure, being that you are so out of touch with the "agenda", off the deep end and useless to them..
They would recommend suicide … and get you to leave your "eyeballs" to a blind regressive…er progressive..
I say we all need to do what you are doing….We do all you've mentioned, plus, we don't patronize Hollywood, NPR, and while FNC is way better than the others, it still wanders left on occasion…
OMG! Are we TWINS separated at birth.
Dan Fogelberg? I thought EVERYONE had forgotten him but me!!!

No amount of media coverage of the voter intimidation is going to matter. The video everyone should be paying attention to is where the leader of the NBP is telling his followers to arm. What happens when you have Radial Muslims arming? Anyone want to hazard a guess?
Copper, you're 100% correct, this is a distraction. But it's also the playbook that would allow a declaration of martial law. Have the cells of the panthers rise up just prior to the election… Perfect excuse.
Now the Trolls are going to say I'm looking for black helicopters but given the track record of this administration I wouldn't put anything past them.
Time to stock up on ammo.
BTW…
Did you know both Willie AND his sister won scholarships to Julliard? No kiddin. And ma Acadienne bard, Zachary Richard as well. Great talent comes in unlikely packages.
Here's one you won't see too often

If you were born in North Jersey in 1949 (circa) of Irish/German "racist" white parents, than maybe, you sound younger than I, but after 50, well, you know…
Thanks for the musical links…Haven't heard either tune in a long time….
Dan F is never ever played on the local oldies station here in L.A.. (and we don't have a Country station..).
They think the Supremes and Beach Boys are the "cats wiskers", repeating the same tunes ad nauseum. If you want to hear "Can't Hurry Love" and Calif Girls", it's your spot, on the dial, for repetition!
MyKu:
Can you imagine
if there was no web, Rush, Beck,
Journal, or Fox News?
Dear God…Beach Boys? Supremes? Suck the life right outta ya, lol. ew….
Looks likewe're 1 for three dude….
Irish with a little Scottish thrown in for good measure. Texas born and raised and 4 years ahead of you in the race to mortality! And I started to post music links cause I'm sick of politics and slime, but I repeat myself.
We need a little pick me up now and then just to keep body and soul together.
TS
…………."but I repeat myself."
Honey, if I didn't hear it, it ain't repetitious…
I love music links…Sometimes, at nite, I'll go on youtube and look for great oldies I love but NEVER hear on the radio…Just as an example…Tony Orlando,( preDawn) did a song in '61 called "Bless you", when I hear it now, it's sounds just as good or better..and will bring a smile, as times were simpler…..
Another is Gene Pitney's "Half Heaven, Half Heartache"..Chills ain't the word…
I got a million of 'em…
Be well…Have a great weekend..!
In 1980, a young woman I grew up with in a conservative family became editor of the newspaper at one of the largest public universities in the country. 3 yrs of J-school changed her. There were glowing front-page articles when Ted Kennedy, JFK Jr., Jimmy Carter, Mo Udall, etc. came to town, but not a mention when a Republican spoke on campus, and I asked her why. The chilling answer was that she was editor, and she could print, or not print, whatever she wanted. That's apparently what she was taught. She now writes for the Washington Post.
Yeah, we would be in Russia, or Venezuela, or N. Korea, or Cuba, etc.
The LSM has leaned left for decades but until the rise of the new media they were never challenged. The LSM will continue to fight to push and promote their left wing bias, but the majority of the public is wise to them and they will soon go the way of the dinasaurs. But not soon enough for me.
That's no good either because I'm not a name-brand shopper. I'm not going to "ask (my) doctor" about Avantia, Zoloft, Lunesta, Flintstones vitamins or toenail fungus. Our new(er) car is 9 yrs old and we plan on keeping it at least 11 more years. I don't buy air fresheners, despite a periodically-gassy spouse. I could care less what kind of trash bags I have.
When I say "boycott", manufacturers and retailers say "like we'd notice!"
I guess my answer to "what more can I do" is to work harder at what I consider my rebellion: get out more with the local 9/12 groups and conservative action groups and rally, get petition signatures, vote "our" people into offices and just try to fight longer and harder than the enemy.
I believe that was called "the 60's".
What the Democrats (Socialists) need to succeed are the death of Free Markets. As long as they can concentrate markets into a few big players, then they can control and regulate. Ron Paul called Obama a "corporatist" and that is what he meant.
They have long been able to concentrate Media and Education and run it all out of Washington with liberals elitists ingrained throughtout both industries. The media hegemony is over because of technology. Deregulating Cable TV and keeping the Federal Government away from the internet, or from allowing an oligopoly to control access is critical.
Fighting to return all educational funding (higher and lower) back to the States, and dismantling the Department of Education and ridding us of Federal Mandates is also mission critical.
I would like to point out that WHEN conservatives/patriots wrest control away from the progressive/traitorous regime currently in power, we will NOT tolerate the LSM resuming/continuing their drumbeat of slurs/innuendo/outright lies towards conservatives. (unless it is for something actually reprehensible).
We will NOT allow the LSM to resume their 24/7 bashing of all things conservative as they did in the past. We tolerated that before because their bias (though known and understood) was not yet as blatant as we have seen. We hadn't had the benefit of seeing in chronological juxtaposition their totally opposite style of 'reporting' on similar situations (even to the extent of the reports involving the same people and places) depending on whether the subject was conservative/Republican or Progressive/Democrat/Socialist.
The Game is up. You can pooh pooh the proposition that the media is liberally biased all you want and we won't listen; we've seen the truth and the truth has set us free.
Free from trying to please the unpleasable (and unpleasant). No more wanting to caper and dance so that the LSM will report somewhat favorably upon our views and lifestyles.
NO MORE. We have stopped buying your trash, we have stopped listening to your leftist propaganda, we will NOT be manipulated by your siren song of face time and phoney reporterettes fawny over those who betray their electorate. No more meek acceptance of distortions via creative editing, no more will we accept those YOU claim are 'conservative' voices, their bona fides will be challenged.
WE NOW KNOW BETTER. YOU'VE SHOVED YOUR POLITICS IN OUR FACE AND WE CAN'T/WON'T IGNORE IT ANY LONGER.
When conservatives retake power, be prepared to be marginalized, counterattacked and ridiculed.
YOU MADE SURE WE KNEW WHAT YOU THINK OF US. WE WILL NO LONGER SUPPORT OUR ENEMIES AND YOU HAVE SHOWN YOURSELVES TO BE AMERICA'S ENEMY.
Exactly right, Jim! This is why I stopped teaching school. A teacher's job is to teach children HOW to think not WHAT to think. And I was not about to turn out a bunch of mindless zombies in my class. Apparently the educational system doesn't appreciate that…
I'm confused by something in the article itself… Ron, you yourself write on this blog:
"Many in the local media know exactly what I’m saying, many agree with me. nce writing on this blog, I have heard from many of them, but they know they have to save their jobs and acquiesce. They read the scripts as given to them and know that they are deceiving the public, and ultimately destroying the business they work in, but it’s a jungle out there and they are doing what they are doing to keep their jobs. Few people are brave enough to stand up. I did a few times but those are stories I will save for another day."
So basically what you're admitting is that the journalists KNOW and admit they're lying and misleading us .. but they continue to do it, 'because they want to keep their jobs"?
While we already know it, i guess you could say that you can now officailly say that you've confirmed that "integrity in journalism is dead'.
Every time I read an article like this, I go back to the Executive Orders book by Tom Clancy (admittedly, not his best work, but not a bad read in itself.), where after conning Ryan into a second 'ambush' interview, the older journalist gets SLAMMED by a kid.. basically referring to them as "con and conned" artists. (I forget the exact terminology that Clancy used it his writing.)
CL, I also remember seeing this in '08, thinking, how awful, but OK, the DoJ will take care of this. Should be a rather open-and-shut case, what with the video and all.
This is bigger news now, not because it was said, but because it was dropped, with a conviction IN HAND.
I do wish, though, that conservative media would focus on the DoJ dropping the matter and the reason why, than showing the hateful speech ad nauseum.
You guys ROCK!
thanks for the music links. I forgot how much I loved "7 Spanish Angels" and "Run for the Roses." "Leader of the Band" was another of my faves.
or the USA in the future if the left gets their way.
I think a lot of realized a long time ago that the LSM/MSM was far left and in bed with the Democrats/Socialists/Marxists, no one should really be surprised. All you have to do is pick up the New York Slimes, Washington Compost to figure this out.
