Time Magazine has moved fully into the “anti-Zionist.” pro-Caliphate camp with its latest cover, set to hit the newsstands during Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year.
The story itself is an obscenity written by one Karl Vick, whose basic premise it that Israelis don’t care about peace because they’re too busy living the good life.
I hope he chokes on the money he was paid to write it.
Of course.., those Evil Joos don’t care that five Israelis have been killed in the three days since direct talks were announced, that they face daily threats of war and annihilation from all sides, that they can turn on the TV daily and hear and see propaganda and incitement aimed at dehumanizing the Jews and calling for jihad. Especially from their so-called ‘peace partners’ where polls indicate that the Palestinians approve of terrorist attacks on Israeli civilians by almost two to one.
What’s really happened, of course is not that Israelis have stopped caring about peace but that they’ve realized in the two decades since Oslo that it isn’t going to happen for some time, because the basic problem is not the amount of land Israel occupies or anything Israel does or doesn’t do but the fact that it exists at all.
In the face of that knowledge, the decision of most Israelis to live a normal day-to-day life is one of extraordinary courage.
But I wouldn’t expect some so-called journalist to understand that.
Here’s some news for Time magazine and the rest: Israelis have gotten used to reading garbage like this about how they’re the most terrible country on earth. And most of them understand that it’s going to continue, no matter what they do. There’s simply a substantial constituency around that envies and resents Israel’s success to the point of madness.

Not to be outdone, MSNBC has revamped their old series, "L.A. Law" for a new, edgy, current series called. . . . you guessed it, "Sharia Law".

So, I read the abridged version of the article online, and I didn't see anything that was objectionable. Maybe it's there in the print version, but if it is I'd like to see the author of this post offer some of it, rather than saying he wants the author of the Time story to choke without providing any quotes from the story.
From what I read of the excerpt, the author is just saying that Israelis aren't as interested in resolving the Palestinian situation as they once were, both because their quality of life is high and because they feel that Palestinians will never be partners in peace. This seems to be backed up by hard data –a poll that says Jewish Israelis put Palestine and the peace process as only 5th on their list of the most important issues facing Israel.
What, then, is so objectionable about this article?
I hesitate to weigh into any discussion of Israel on this site because anyone who criticizes the country is called an anti-Semite. To be sure, there seem to be some of those around, but I hope we can debate in good faith without accusing each other of anti-Semitism. I'll try to immunize myself with something conservatives like to do to show they aren't racist–my girlfriend's Jewish!

Reading your last economic address reminded me of one of my favorite movies, Cannonball Run. This fellow had a mental disorder that he would soothe by putting on a costume and taking on a presumably difficult task. Thus, I crown you, Captain Chaos. The honor comes with a cape, funky boots, and of course a speedo. I recommend you only wear the speedo in private, as it may make a NY Times reporter pass out and the rest of us puke. So the next time you are going to deliver a speech that frankly no one cares a lick about, just step up to the microphone and scream out, “Captain Chaos to the rescue!” At which point the citizens of this great nation will then be on notice to take cover, and use extreme caution.
Let’s take the healthcare bill that my representative John Hall voted in favor of. This is one piece of legislated chaos an order of magnitude higher that would make a Nazi proud. Recently you signed the Financial Regulatory Reform Act, that would among other nasty things, increase the minutia that a borrower would be faced with and create a higher burden for the companies to raise rates on borrowers; in short you are treating adults like children, and this will only lead to more chaos, and not to mention less credit.
You see Captain Chaos Obama, We The People, get to vote last, while you get to bully us when ever you desire with or without the cape and the funky boots. I am well aware that your ilk has been maneuvering in chaotic fashion to make each vote not about forming a more perfect union, but about administering to the government induced chaos; and the last election, like trained seals, people voted for Democrats, wrongly thinking that they are better at managing the chaos. We The People, are coming to the conclusion that the ordered chaos that evolves out of the free market is far more desirable than the one that the federal government manufactures, with the willing help of unions, via pitting one economic class, or one race against another. Since even before the creation of the state of Israel, there have been attempts by the arab world to erradicate them completely. The massacre at Hebron, in 1938 is one example. Yes, the reason peace isn´t high on their wish list is because after two decades of trying they have probably given up on the idea that they can ever live in peace. They are simply being realists.

Just because the MSM isn't telling us about it, doesn't mean it isn't happening. To be honest, I don't believe anything they tell me anymore.
When I'm reading something in the paper, the second I find something that doesn't seem right, I check to see who's distributing it. If, for example, its AP, I stop wasting my time. I know its biased.
