Regardless who lays claim to any victory in Iraq, it's a complete fallacy and fabrication regardless. There was no connection to 9/11 or WMD's, a complete fabrication. GWB used his bully pulpit to complain any Dem's that objected to unbridled spending in the hundreds of billions without a timeline for an exit strategy were labeled unpatriotic. So GWB in his last of act as president signed new SOFA (status of forces agreement) stating our troops must leave within the timeline of 18 months. Another words, the same timeline the Dem's pushed for many years. I guess that was another example of landing on a carrier with banners flying stating 'Mission Accomplished' but not for many years to come! I'm a 2 tour combat veteran, but we went to war based on all lies! Period. Both parties are at fault.
