When President Obama called for an end to congressional insider trading during his State of the Union Address last night, there may have been some colorful Greek expletives muttered by a multi-millionaire publisher we all know and love.
When Breitbart News began our coverage of Peter Schweizer’s best-selling book Throw Them All Out, AOL/Huffington Post was quick to proclaim the story dead on arrival. Their full-page headline proudly proclaimed “Hit Job Falls Flat,” which displayed lousy journalism on multiple levels. AOL/HuffPo characterized the diligently investigated report as a “hit job,” they prematurely proclaimed the story a failure and as we revealed at the time, they allowed Arianna Huffington’s cozy relationship with Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi to falsely inform their readers that there was no validity to the congressional insider trading scandal.
Here we are, only ten weeks after AOL/Huffpo called our story a dud, there have been multiple congressional and senate hearings, three different laws drafted and now, using his ultimate bully pulpit, President Obama said this:
What a humiliating moment for the smart-set over at AOL/HuffPo when their candidate lends this level of importance to a story they tried hard to spike. There was a time when AOL/HuffPo tried to sell themselves to the public as a new brand of aggressive and independent journalism fighting against the old guard media who no longer resonate with the American public. Now, AOL/HuffPo is the old guard, running interference for political cronies and using their $300 million megaphone to try to shout-down others who don’t fall in line.
The old-guard media versus new media conflict has less to do with the method of delivery of the news (newsprint versus kilobytes) as much as it has to do with the stale, predictable establishment philosophy that permeates the newsrooms of these organizations. Take a liberal political reporter from the old-guard like Howard Fineman out of the Newsweek office and put him in the high-tech environment of AOL/HuffPo and you still have the same old repetitive and destructive mindset you had before.
This phenomenon, and what sets true citizen journalism apart from the cronies in the establishment media, was best revealed on my show last night by the journalist who got all this started in the first place, Peter Schweizer, author of Throw Them All Out:

Almost everything initiated at HufPo "falls flat".
They are just "Tools" … which rhymes with "Fools".
Hell, I'd throw Arianna under the bus too.
Oops. Bad doggie Arianna! No treat!
….And Team Breitbart glares and GROWS STRONGER…..
I find this story so satisfying. Maybe I'm living vicariously through Mr. Schweizer?
HuffPo puts on the big boy pants, or would that be big girl panties, by teaming up with AOL and promptly falls on it's face!
AOL banked on the ginned up popularity of liberal media organs, completely disregarding the obvious evidence that they are a failing business model (do I really have to mention Air America or any number of liberal media mouthpieces that have changed format to conservative talk?).
They, AOL, continue to lose money. Serves them right. Of course, it won't be long before they are looking for a bailout.
I'm sure HuffPo will completely gloss this over and/or ignore it. It's what they do best.
The best solution to Congressional insider trading? Upon conviction of insider trading, execute the guilty Congresscritters on the Capitol steps — and make the current Congress be made to witness the execution. That's the only way we'll ever have a 'best' solution to this 'politicans gone wild' activity, and the only action which will get Congresscritters' attention.
yup, the calls for a newspaper to the snout….
Yeah, go Judge Dread on them…
A nother
O stentatious

I was just over at Huff and Puff and spent about 10 minutes and could not find a word on the subject, I was shocked shocked I tell you.
The last time the Huff post was relevant is when AOL paid about 300 million more for it than it was worth. They did pay 300 million for it, didn't they?
A useless gesture and one he was well aware would go no where.
You can't humiliate a turd! It's a turd.
…And that's why I call it, "Huffin' Gas Post"
That bastion of commie blowpigs is all whacked out on whippets, stumbling around in a chemically induced daze.
I will help out…. I will drive that bus.
Arnold Ziffel wants to help run over Eva too!
We also would have to confiscate ALL of their assets. Remember, some of the congresspeoples wives or husbands wouldn't mind getting rid of these tools as well, and would report them just to save the divorce costs. They were probably complicit and do not deserve to benefit either.
The line begins to the right.
let them sell it to Vince for a mill
I am union though and I go to the FRONT of the line. Kidding. I willwait my turn.
Fast and Furious is also no big deal as far as HuffPo is concerned.
What hacks!
I personally like the words however can one who is so corrupt call others out for being corrupt ? I guess so If the caller is B Hussein Obama. I can just hear what he says off camera – "give me a piece of this action"
Hehe. The union line forms to the left, but it doesnt go anywhere.
AOL/Huffingcrap is as bad as the corrupt lame stream progressive media and these are the same progressive fools that screech "faux" daily…………. no surprise
Does anyone recall that Barney Frank and Chris Dodd were chiefly responsible for the financial crisis yet proclaimed that they were going make sure it never happened again throught passage of the Dodd-Frank Act?
Instead of rightfully being viewed as the culpable party, they changed the perception from being the problem to being the ones with the supposed solution. Then retired.
Same thing is happening by Obama. He is the chief crony capitalist, shelling out taxpayer money through the green energy boondoggle to his campaign bundlers. So, now he attempts to grab the mantle of reform from Congress, who he is running against.
This is not a victory. It is an elaborate ruse.
HuffnBlow is all hot air. Not worth the bandwidth it occupies nor its tiny carbon footprint.
It doesn't matter.
They will 'Stay the course' until they can claim 'Mission accomplished!'.
Even if it means trying to make their past statements go down the memory hole.
Breitbart beats Arianna again.
Poor puff po.
