Yesterday it was reported that Kermit Gosnell, an abortionist, was arrested and charged with eight counts of murder. He was charged with the murder of babies who were fully delivered; he induced labor, delivered the babies and then stuck a scissors in the back of their necks and mercilessly killed them. Their first breath was also their last.  Lacking even the dignity of a human touch; no one holding their tiny, innocent hand coursing with life’s blood, as that life left their tiny bodies. Eyes opening, trying to focus for the first time and trustingly seek out the security of the face belonging to the voice they’d heard for many months inside the womb. Struggling to survive, as the will to live is strong, even in the most tiny and vulnerable. Very few networks have actually covered the story.

He was not charged with the murders of babies he killed the same way – earning $1.8 million in one year alone for doing so – only inside the womb.

Gosnell’s abortion mill was a gruesome house of evil. When police searched Gosnell’s facilities, they found that “bags and bottles holding aborted fetuses were scattered throughout the building.  Jars containing the severed feet of babies lined a shelf.” This grotesque cretin kept severed feet as some sort of macabre serial killer trophy.

These days, the biased leftist slant of the media is more apparent than it has ever been. They are spinning madly, increasingly frantic with fear of those super scary Tea Partiers and oh-so-terrifying conservatives. And when you add Sarah Palin and race-based identity politics into the mix, it becomes a perfect storm of unabashed — and unbalanced — leftist water carrying.

The Washington Post’s Richard Cohen is the latest to exhibit just how unglued the Left and the media, being concentric circles on a Venn diagram, natch, have become. Newsbusters points out that in the article titled “Attack on Michelle Obama shows Palin’s ignorance of history,” Cohen comes to the inane, and typically leftist, conclusion that Sarah Palin “could not be the president of black America nor of Hispanic America.”  Um. Sure, I’m no swanky-pants Washington Post columnist, nor do I even have the vast experience of a community organizer from which to draw, but I’m fairly certain that the presidency isn’t segregated.

Can’t let pesky facts stand in the way of a hit piece, though, can he? How does Cohen form his brilliant – and sure-fire entre into a good cocktail party this weekend – hypothesis?

Because Sarah Palin dares to mention the following in her new book:

In her new book, she reportedly takes Michelle Obama to task for her supposedly infamous remark from the 2008 campaign: “For the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country because it feels like hope is finally making a comeback.” [...]

Huh. Again, I’m no expert, but it seems to me that Michelle Obama actually did say that.

With less than 24 hours until polls open in most of the United States, the media seems to have taken on the role of the young boy with his finger in the dike, doing their best to plug leaks that will hurt incumbent and liberal Democrat candidates so that voters will not have critical information to help them decide how to vote.

liberal-media-bias

The media would have you believe that in California, former Governor Jerry Brown has already won with poll reports showing Meg Whitman trailing and Barbara Boxer surging to a low single digit lead over Carly Fiorina. Sources associated with the Whitman and Fiorina campaigns have indicated that internal polling actually shows Whitman and Fiorina to be much more competitive than the media would have you believe, and in some cases, beating Brown and Boxer who represent the relics of failed Democrat ideals.

Americans have come to understand the phrase “all politics is local” as immortalized by former House Speaker Tip O’Neill; however, all local politics are not reported equally.

I would like to share with you three examples where the media has been protecting politicians and an explanation of how the media is being influenced in their decision to not report these stories.

If someone were to ask you how many now convicted child pornographers Senator Barbara Boxer has employed, what would your answer be? My answer would have been none, before beginning an investigation into media double standards, as a result of the Charlie Wilson case.

Big Government readers may recall how BG broke the story of serial spousal abuser Charlie Wilson, up for re-election in Ohio 6.

Ohio Democrat Congressman Charlie Wilson was first elected to Congress in the Democrat wave year of 2006. Prior to that, he had been a long-time member of the Ohio state legislature, first elected to the Ohio House in 1996 and the Ohio Senate in 2004. (One of his four grown sons succeeded him in the legislature and is currently an Ohio State Senator.) He was also married for 27 years to his wife, Clara. The marriage ended in divorce in 1990.

Barbara Boxer’s issues don’t date back quite that far, as Newsbusters pointed out in November of 2008:

A high-level adviser for Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Cali) was charged Wednesday with receiving and distributing child pornography. [...] Although Jeff Rosato was arrested and fired last Friday, this story has garnered very little attention from the mainstream press.

Eventually, Rosato pled guilty and was sentence to five-years in federal prison, as reported on May 02, 2009. However, he’s not the only former Boxer employee recently convicted for child pornography. Enter Bernie Ward. (more…)

It’s late October heading into a big statewide election and like clockwork the Los Angeles Times/USC poll is predicting huge blowout victories for California Democrats. Given their history, I can safely say these results can be taken to the bank. It just so happens that bank is the sperm bank, because this poll is nothing more than Democratic Party masturbation.

According to the Times, Democratic Attorney General Jerry Brown is crushing Republican Meg Whitman 52% to 39% among likely voters. Similarly, they have Democratic incumbent U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer pounding GOP nominee Carly Fiorina 50% to 42%.

Brown/Whitman

These numbers should strike fear in the hearts of Republicans – and they do – provided they’re Republicans who don’t get the papers, live in a world where yesterday doesn’t exist and are suffering from an early onset of dementia.

Unfortunately for the Times, there’s only one Meghan McCain.

The rest of us are doing exactly what we should be doing: Ignoring this partisan trash falsely presented as worthwhile science.

Before I explain why this poll is wrong – it must be said that every poll involving the LA Times is wrong. Not just wrong, but SPECTACULARLY wrong. Dick Morris wrong.

Let’s take a quick stroll down memory lane.

N.O.W., the National Organization of Whores, leaped into the lead for the title of most epically hypocritical organization this week. Whoops, silly me!  I mean National Organization for Women. But, as ExJon of Exurban League pointed out to me, they won’t mind being called whores, will they? I mean, they obviously have no problem with that term, otherwise a group who claims to be For the Women™ would not, you know, endorse men who slur women with that term, now would they?

brown

Of course they would. And did.

A mere 24 hours after Jerry Brown was caught calling Meg Whitman, his opponent in the race for California Governor, a “whore,” they endorsed him. Proof positive once again that Leftist feminists, including their cult-like organizations, will stop at nothing, even rewarding sexism, to further their true agenda. An agenda which is not one of concern for women at all.  To the contrary; leftist feminists actually use women, solely as a way to further this agenda. And heaven forfend if some women don’t fall for their lies nor allow themselves to be used. Then, they are called whores or brainless sex objects only. If trying to diminish one through sexualization fails, they’ll move onto trying to take her gender away totally by calling her “a big mashed up bag of meat with lipstick on it.” Or “Pat Buchanan in drag.” Or a host of other garbage spewed forth in venom-filled animus meant to demean and dehumanize the offending woman. By offending, I, of course, mean free thinking conservatives. (more…)

In response to a video showing day laborers being hired to hold campaign signs for Barbara Boxer, the Pasadena Star-News published a story about the video that has been a “viral phenomenon” according to the story written by staff writers Brian Charles and Frank C. Girardot.  The video shows day laborers holding signs for the Boxer campaign during a rally outside of the location where Carly Fiorina showed up to debate Boxer, who was joining via satellite from Washington, D.C., where she was to vote on the very important bill to limit the volume on our TV commercials.   The video was taken using a hidden camera and captures the day laborers holding signs for the campaign and when questioned about the sign they responded with “I don’t speak English.”  When questioned further about who made the sign, one man referred to the lady “that pays” along with some other broken English that was not audible.

The Pasadena Star-News seemed compelled to come out defending Boxer and her supporters, by trying to refute the story by questioning the video’s authenticity — and why not, since the video was released on the Breitbart.tv and Big Government websites.  After all, the left wing media never pays attention to details of the facts surrounding one of their fellow leftists.  They do however, pay very close attention to detail of those that they choose to apply Alinsky tactics to by following those sacred rules for radicals that the left is so fond of deploying.  The Star-News article attempts to apply these rules although it’s clear that writer Brian Charles might be a newbie at this game as well as the sources from MoveOn.org and the Boxer campaign.  In seeking to determine whether the video was authentic, Charles spoke to a spokeswoman for MoveOn.org who said:

“The tape has numerous problems. The caption doesn’t match what the man is saying,” said Ilyse Hogue, MoveOn.org communications director. “He said more than what appears in the caption. The amount of syllables coming from his mouth doesn’t match what was in the caption.”

This spokeswoman mentioned “numerous problems” with the video but, for some reason could only mention one issue – a rather weak argument at that, considering the only thing that matters is the fact he pointed to a “lady that pays.”  The story gets more interesting as Rose Kapolczynski, Boxer’s campaign manager seems to insinuate that the day laborers were really Boxer supporters.  I can’t expect them to answer any other way but, really… (more…)

[Cabinet Room, White House, January 3, 2011]

OBAMA:  All right, folks.  Let’s begin.  After your recess appointments to the Cabinet two weeks ago, I gave you all free rein while I was incommunicado playing golf in Ireland.  Tell me what you’ve accomplished.  We’ll start with . . . Defense.

kucinich

DENNIS KUCINICH:  I’ve mothballed the fleet and grounded the Air Force, sir.  Uniformed services will be mustered out by next month.  Our enemies now understand we mean business when we say we want peace.

OBAMA:  Good.  I still need protection against a national uprising.  How’s recruitment going for my Civilian National Security Force?

KUCINICH:  The first units are scheduled to graduate from Nation of Islam Training Center on Parris Island in the spring, sir.

OBAMA:  Fine.  Oh, Dennis, a revenue idea: hold a carrier back and retrofit it as a ”cruise warship.”  Incorporate “DoD Vacations Unlimited” to tap the niche of travelers who want to tour world trouble spots like Somalia in comfort and safety.  Uh, State?

Cindy_Sheehan_at_White_House

CINDY SHEEHAN:  With respect, sir, your plan to eliminate America’s nuclear arsenal was a pathetic, empty gesture.  Instead, Secretary Kucinich and I are promoting peace and prosperity through managed nuclear proliferation.  We’ve distributed our entire stock of doomsday weapons proportionally to every non-nuclear country on earth. Base Jumping:

Californians are left with a deeply unsatisfying choice for the U.S. Senate this year. The incumbent, Democrat Barbara Boxer, has failed to distinguish herself during her 18 years in office. There is no reason to believe that another six-year term would bring anything but more of the same uninspired representation.

Naturally, the San Francisco Chronicle doesn’t like Carly Fiorina either. That, however, can be filed under “Reaction, Knee Jerk.” This is the newspaper that’s long been considered by Democrats as nothing more than a satellite campaign office. The import of its declining to endorse Boxer, especially in this election, cannot be understated. The editorial says as much.

It is extremely rare that this editorial page would offer no recommendation on any race, particularly one of this importance. This is one necessary exception.

Rarely, if ever, has so much been at stake for progressives in America. They got the president they wanted. They got a powerful Speaker of the House from one of the most progressive districts in the country. And they got what they thought was going to be a decades-long mandate. Twenty months later, it’s all disintegrating. (more…)

It was April 15, 2009 when Speaker Pelosi pronounced the Tea Party protests as fake, using the term AstroTurf (as in phony grass roots).

The entire MSM covered that story and many worked overtime to brand the Tea Partiers as “AstroTurf” in an effort to discredit a genuine, homegrown movement the likes of which has not been seen in this country in decades.

Despite the fact that tens of thousands of people were part of hundreds of protest events held around the country on Tax Day 2009, NBC’s Chuck Todd appeared on the Today Show telling Matt Lauer the Tea Party movement was one that “hasn’t really caught on”:

On August 4, of last year, while on MSNBC’s Hardball, Senator Barbara Boxer joined in the discredit chorus, telling Chris Matthews that the protesters were “too well dressed” and too well organized to be legitimate: (more…)

How low have Senator Barbara “Don’t Call Me Ma’am” Boxer’s fortunes sunk to these days? Low enough that the three-term liberal Democrat doesn’t poll better than 43% against any of her three possible Republican challengers.

Low enough that her primary challenger, liberal journalist and blogger extraordinaire Robert “Mickey” Kaus, the former Newsweek writer and ”Kausfiles” architect at Slate, is to her right.

Low enough that not even the failing Los Angeles Times’ editors could bring themselves to endorse her.

barbara-boxer

But is their non-endorsement a ringing seal of approval–for Kaus?

Kaus has little name recognition, no money and no Times endorsement.  But, Boxer’s so bad–the Times’ editors generously referred to her lack of intellectual firepower”– that even a usually-reliable Democrat mouthpiece like the Times won’t endorse her.  As Glenn Reynolds puts it: “Feel the Mickey-mentum building!” (more…)

Amazing but true: the Los Angeles Times, which hardly ever met a Democrat it didn’t want to endorse, today has decided to remain neutral in the California primary.

On the Democratic side, we find that we’re no fans of incumbent Barbara Boxer. She displays less intellectual firepower or leadership than she could.

No.  Really?

I mean, really?

You’re kidding, right?  Not enough “intellectual firepower?” (more…)

Last year I had written a piece for the American Thinker and I went to that site to read the comments posted. Next to the article was an ad that showed a video of Sen. Chuck Schumer saying that “the American people don’t care,” about what he called those little “porky amendments.”

Something flew all over me and I felt it was time to become more activist than simply writing a column that preached to the choir but did not reach the average New Yorker who continued to vote in parasitic corrupt politicians.

I bought a domain calling it ChangeNYin2010.com and posted that Schumer video, as well as another one featuring Charlie Rangel cursing out a reporter asking him about his ethics violations: (more…)

You all remember when Babs Boxer, the Terror of Tiny Town, went Brooklyn-nuclear on a hapless Army Brigadier General, Michael Walsh, who had the insolence to call her “Ma’am” instead of “Senator” when testifying before her short but august majesty.

Lest we forget this great moment in civilian control of the military, here it is:

OK, maggots — got the message?

Now let’s watch how the Emperor Barack Hussein Obama II treats his subjects. Here he is yesterday, swatting away a pesky, impotent Sen. John McCain. Everyone in the room addresses the former Barry Soetoro  as “Mr. President,” but the Punahou Kid can’t bring himself to give McCain the dignity of a title:

Yes, I know it’s kind of fun to watch the man who never saw an aisle he didn’t want to reach across in order to appease his tormentors and double-cross his pals grit his teeth and seethe, but still… “John?”  To a man who not only has a military rank but holds high civilian office?

Wouldn’t it have been fun to see the combined scenes played something like this? (more…)

Oh, this is rich.  I’m laughing so hard, it’s difficult to type. Only in California.

For a few years now, I’ve been signed up for Barbara Boxer’s campaign solicitations.  Keep your enemies closer and all that.

So, today Ms. Boxer is just tickled pink all over to announce to her California groupies that the one, the only, the prophet of global warming, the Oscar-winning, Peace-prize-taking guy who got filthy rich hawking gloom-and-doom snake oil to the world is coming to L.A.!!!!  Just for her.  So they can both stand in the same room together begging for more money from the dozen poor schleps who still have a grain of naiveté and a checkbook from Daddy’s trust fund.
