- There was never any serious proof that tea party members spat upon a black Democrat Congressman. There is, however, official confirmation of Occupy protest participants spitting upon a female member of our armed forces. There was a time in American media when facts seemed to matter. That time is long gone.

The problem with the media coverage, obviously, is that the MSM sees this movement as something that can turn out the vote for Obama in 2012 and offset the impact of the Tea Party. Regardless of the ongoing lawlessness, the hundreds of arrests, and what we’re seeing unfold today, Occupy Wall Street is useful to the MSM’s gameplan to ensure another term for President FailureTeleprompter. The Occupy movement also gives Obama’s Media Palace Guards reason to ignore the brewing Fast and Furious and Solyndra scandals.

A case in point.

Wednesday marked the six week anniversary of solar company Solyndra declaring bankruptcy. Despite this, MSNBC’s Chris Matthews, Lawrence O’Donnell, Ed Schultz, and Al Sharpton have yet to report one single word about this growing scandal on their respective prime time programs.

- Why would Marxists want to take over DC’s Freedom Plaza? My God, comrades, isn’t the White House enough? Apparently not.

The “October 2011” movement organizer Dennis Trainor tells me that he believes capitalism is “homicidal” and that the U.S. needs a revolution. “This is not a reform movement,” he said. He is part of the illegal occupation of Freedom Plaza in Washington, D.C. The “October 2011” movement is not part of, but endorses the “Occupy Wall Street” movement that began several weeks ago.

This is one of the ways you can tell when news organizations get lazy and simply regurgitates a press release. Recently, the Daily Caller ran a story Labor and liberal groups to hold Oct. 2 rally on Mall to counter Beck, Tea Party. A similar article with the same quotes was released by Bloomberg. The article is a whitewash of a “get out the vote” rally run by an organization whose priorities include; social justice, globalization, the plight of the Palestinian people against the “Apartheid policies of the government of Israel,” justice for the Iraqi people against the American politicians who committed war crimes, and advocating there is nothing more evil than multi-national American Corporations.

Labor leaders, liberal religious leaders and the NAACP will hold a rally on the National Mall on October 2, one month before the fall midterm elections, in an attempt to show they too have political clout and momentum in response to last Saturday’s massive gathering of Tea Party types led by Fox News host Glenn Beck.

“The AFL-CIO is determined that the Tea Party and its corporate backers are not going to get the final word,” said AFL-CIO executive vice president Arlene Holt Baker. “We will expect tens of thousands of union families to come.”

…Besides the NAACP, the Oct. 2 rally will be supported and organized by other labor organizations, such as the SEIU and the American Federation of Teachers.”

If you want to know why the Republicans are called the “stupid party,” you need to look no further than this story about John Boehner’s distancing himself from Congressman Joe Barton’s remark that, based on no constitutional authority, BP had been “shaken down” by the Obama administration and forced to fork over a $20 billion “slush fund.”

First, please take a look at Barton’s comments:

A relatively mild statement of fact, expressed inoffensively. So naturally, the spineless jellyfish who pass for the “leaders” of the Stupid Party immediately started backpedaling away:

House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) broke with a top Republican on Thursday who suggested BP had suffered a “shakedown” by being forced to set up a $20 billion fund to pay out damages.

Asked at his weekly press conference if he disagreed with Barton’s characterization of the deal struck Wednesday at the White House, Boehner quickly responded, “I do.”

“BP agreed to fund the cost of this cleanup from the beginning and I’m glad they’re being held accountable,” Boehner told reporters.

When is the Stupid Party going to wise up and realize that the only way fight Obamaism is by going on the attack, by using the weapons of the left against them — relentlessness, implacable opposition and a ruthless willingness to pick up beer bottles and paving stones and pool cues if it will help win the fight. The left never compromises unless it has to, never apologizes unless it is forced to and never cedes an inch of ground that it is not wrested from it in intellectual combat. (more…)

May Day is upon us – the day when the Communists, Socialists, Marxists and other nuts take to the streets to protest capitalism, individual freedom and America. Coincidentally – I’m sure – it’s the same day immigration reform advocates will be marching en masse across America demanding amnesty for illegals.

New York Times, MSNBC, Washington Post and CNN, do us all a favor: Can you compare the incidences of violence committed by radical Leftists on May Day to those (lack of) stories of violence during the Tax Day Tea Party protests?

Perhaps Bill Clinton, who recently inferred that the Tea Party protests and limited government pundits are leading America towards “violence,” would care to offer his analysis of the violence that is to come on May Day in major cities across America and Europe. Maybe he’d be interested in commenting for a compare/contrast story? New York Times and MSNBC: pick up your pencil and write that down. (more…)
